Oh, our environment - within which we have been placed without our prior permission (understandably) - does contain phenomena and stimuli here and there, which catch our attention now and then . . . temporarily diverting our preoccupation with recurrent dismal woe caused by whoever has and does cause it:

There are gorgeous sunsets, awesome but scary sunrises, beautiful and entertaining animals (especially totally-naked young-adult female humans, from male-human point of view) and imagery thereof, encountering us and which we come across as we roam around the planet and the much-appreciated arguably-useful internet. There is refreshing water, scenic waterfalls, the relief and cleanness of fresh air outside the cities, the so-far-impeccable consistency of the always-rising-and-setting sunlight because of a constantly-rotating Earth around the stable Sun near a stable-orbit Moon more consistent than clockwork, dependable gravity and magnetic radiation belts protecting Earth from being fried by solar flares, intriguing twinkling stars and non-twinkling planets of the solar system on cloudless night skies with overwhelming sights of various types of galaxies and nebula in the universe seen through telescopes, a variety of different majestic clouds in the spacious sky plus terrifying tornado fury, hurricanes, earthquakes, hailstorms, tree-overturning straight-line winds, mighty mountains in the distance, bizarre volcanic eruptions and lava flows, limestone caves, the wonder of complex DNA, plethora of intricate lifeforms and minerals and molecules thereof plus numerous interdependent sub-atomic particles.

But, there are also humans - questionable lifeforms both providing and imposing a peculiar haphazard mixture of pleasantness and non-pleasantness. Such human creatures cause us some pleasure but much pain, in non-predictable randomness at that.

Said to be the epitomy of the Creator's handiwork, humans and what they have concocted are simultaneously and potentially quite rewarding yet the most deplorably dangerous and despicably disreputable of all phenomena within the environment which such humans find and have found themselves within.

Both frail and inconsistent humans and the objects and mechanisms which they have constructed using natural resources ultimately not their own are non-deniably subject to breakdown and non-operationality . . . resulting in loathsome inconvenience, disappointment, frustration, and sometimes-mind-boggling devastation.

No wonder they frequently curse each other in resentment and anger.

Ecclesiastes 7:22 your heart knows that many times you yourself have cursed others.

They complain about the Creator's air and water after they themselves pollute it with noxious gases and sewage and whatever. They enclose themselves, most of their complaining and grumbling accusatory lives, in opaque office buildings and houses preventing them from seeing and enjoyably experiencing natural phenomena described in some detail in the big paragraph above.

They screw each other sexually and so have not taken time nor effort to learn when and where earthquakes and tornado-or-hurricane windstorms will occur. They mismanage their health and malign their DNA by their lurid and lewd immodest-and-indecent hedonistic depravity without knowing exactly how they have misaligned it nor how to correct it, so they cause themselves to acquire and suffer all sorts of terminal illness and diseases for which they, in their indolent and arrogant-slacker ignorance have not found cures.

Accompanying all this is that such humans (as a vile-vermin majority) blame their Creator for their own irresponsibility-caused mishaps and mismanagement:

Job 40:8 Will you even put me in the wrong? Will you condemn me that you may be justified?

Isaiah 58:3 'Why have we fasted, and you see it not? Why have we humbled ourselves, and you take no knowledge of it?' Hey, in the day of your fast you seek your own pleasure, and oppress all your workers.

Jeremiah 2:13 for my people have committed two evils: they have rejected me, the fountain of living waters, and hewed out cisterns for themselves, broken cisterns, that can hold no water.

Jeremiah 2:30 In vain have I smitten your children, they took no correction; your own sword devoured your prophets like a ravening lion.

Jeremiah 25:7 "Yet you have not listened to me," says the LORD, "so you provoke me to anger with the work of your hands to your own harm."

Haggai 1:6 You have planted much, and harvested little; you eat, but you never have enough; you drink, but you never have your fill; you clothe yourselves, but no one is warm; and he who earns wages earns wages to put them into a bag with holes.

John 18:35 Pilate answered, "Am I a Jew? Your own nation and the chief priests have handed you over to me; what have you done?"

Acts 20:30 and from among your own selves will arise humans speaking perverse things, to draw away the disciples after them.

Second Corinthians 6:12 You are not restricted by us, but you are restricted in your own affections.

First Thessalonians 2:14 For you, brethren, became imitators of the churches of God in Christ Jesus which are in Judea; for you suffered the same things from your own countrypersons as they did from [certain] jews

Second Peter 3:17 You therefore, beloved, knowing this beforehand, beware lest you be carried away with the error of lawless humans and lose your own stability.

Revelation 16:1 Then I heard a loud voice from the temple telling the seven angels, "Go and pour out on the earth the seven bowls of the wrath of God."
8 The fourth angel poured his bowl on the Sun, and it was allowed to scorch humans with fire;
9 humans were scorched by the fierce heat [hot weather], and they cursed the name of God who had power over these plagues, and they did not repent and give Him glory.
10 The fifth angel poured his bowl on the throne of The Beast, and his kingdom was in darkness; humans gnawed their tongues in anguish
11 and [on news-report printed and electronic media and in person] cursed the God of heaven for their pain and sores, and did not repent of their works.
17 The seventh angel poured his bowl into the air, and a loud voice came out of the temple, from the throne, saying, "It is done!"
18 And there were flashes of lightning, voices, peals of thunder, and a great earthquake such as had never been since humans were on the earth, so great was that earthquake.
20 And every island fled away, and no mountains were to be found;
21 and great hailstones, heavy as a hundred-weight, dropped on humans from heaven, till humans cursed God for [the nasty weather of] the plague of the hail, so fearful was that plague.

But the Creator has initially created what is amazingly benevolent for and not against all His human creatures -- while His wayward and defiant retorts, in general, have done their damndest to make that benevolence non-benevolent and a deplorable burden to themselves and everyone else.

Exodus 15:11 "Who is like you, LORD, among the gods? Who is like you, majestic in holiness, terrible in glorious deeds, doing wonders?
Psalm 72:19 Blessed be His glorious name forever; may His glory fill the whole earth! Amen and Amen!
Psalm 76:4 Glorious are you, more majestic than the everlasting mountains.
Psalm 78:4 We will not hide them from their children, but tell to the coming generation the glorious works of the LORD, and His might, and the wonders which He has wrought.
Psalm 90:16 Let your work be manifest to your servants, and your glorious power to their children.
Psalm 145:5 On the glorious splendor of your majesty, and on your wondrous works, I will meditate.
Matthew 19:28 Jesus said to them, "Truthfully I say to you, in The New World, when the Son of Man shall sit on His glorious throne, you who have followed me will also sit on twelve thrones, judging the twelve tribes of Israel.
Matthew 25:31 "When the Son of man comes in His glory, and all the angels with Him, then He will sit on His glorious throne."
Luke 13:17 As He said this, all his adversaries were put to shame; and all the people rejoiced at all the glorious things that were done by Him.
Romans 8:21 because the creation itself will be set free from its bondage to decay and obtain the glorious liberty of the children of God.
Ephesians 1:6 to the praise of His glorious grace which he freely bestowed on us in the beloved.

Philippians 3:21 who will change our lowly body to be like His glorious body, by the power which enables Him even to subject all things to Himself.

The immoral majority of humans has even considered the prospect of ongoing, continuing, and never-ending existence in the afterlife of eternity a hideous affront deserving at least anything but praise to the Creator and at most the fiercest livid intensity of vociferous blasphemy possible.

Even those who, in all fairness and justice, have tried and yet attempt to accommodate to what their Creator has created pertaining to the privileged-planet environment which He has put them into, the dire effects and consequences of "the many on the broad and easy road to destruction" present a constant temptation to succumb to disillusionment and questioning toward and against their Creator.

Psalm 73:2 But as for me, my feet had almost stumbled, my steps had almost slipped.
3 For I was envious of the arrogant, when I saw the prosperity of the wicked.
4 For they have no pangs; their bodies are sound and sleek.
5 They are not in trouble as other humans are; they are not stricken like other humans.
6 Therefore pride is their necklace; violence covers them as clothing.
7 Their eyes swell out with fatness, their hearts overflow with follies.
8 They scoff and speak with malice; loftily they threaten oppression.
9 They set their mouths against the heavens, and their tongue struts through the earth.
10 Therefore the people turn and praise them; and find no fault in them.
11 And they say, "How can God know? Is there knowledge in the Most High?"
12 Hey, these are the wicked; always at ease, they increase in riches.
13 All in vain have I kept my heart clean and washed my hands in innocence.
14 For all the day long I have been stricken, and chastened every morning.
15 If I had said, "I will speak [like them]," I would have been untrue to the generation of your children.
16 But when I thought how to understand this, it seemed to me a wearisome task,
17 until I went into the sanctuary of God; then I perceived their end.
18 Truly you do set them in slippery places; you do make them fall to ruin.
19 How they are destroyed in a moment, swept away utterly by terrors!
20 They are like a dream when one awakes, on awaking their phantoms are despised.
21 When my soul was embittered, when I was pricked in heart,
22 I was stupid and ignorant, I was like a beast toward you.
23 Nevertheless I am continually with you; you do hold my right hand.
24 You do guide me with your counsel, and afterward you will receive me to glory.
25 Whom have I in heaven but you? And there is nothing upon earth that I desire besides you.
26 My flesh and my heart may fail, but God is the strength of my heart and my portion forever.
27 For wow, those who are far from you shall perish; you do put an end to those who are false to you.
28 But for me it is good to be near God; I have made the Lord GOD my refuge, that I may tell of all your works.

"If you are so good, God, yet have allowed wicked humans to make things around us so bad and wrong, how can we be sure and certain and have positive confidence that you will eventually provide lasting reform and adequate restitution and reparations which have absolutely NO chance whatsoever of ever going awry?"

A fair question.

Malachi 3:6 "For I the LORD do not change; therefore you, sons of Jacob, are not consumed."
Hebrews 13:8 Jesus Christ is the same yesterday and today and forever.

But if the LORD had and has the audacity to - without prior permission - humiliate every human being by causing them to emerge from inferior-gender vaginas embarrassingly nude and helpless, enter into and struggle within a world of greedy, thieving, selfish, shrieking, treacherous, vandalizing, lying, sometimes ugly, dishonest, mischievous, slandering and murderous humans, and then finally die from the accumulated effects of the sins of aforementioned defectos . . . how can anyone trust Him to create an eternal Paradise which can never be defiled nor harmful in any way?

Not only that, but what right does God have to plan for all humans a perpetual existence without limits of beginning and ending, start and finish, in an eternity which has no end - EVER? Such thought of something not able to be measured, and having no end, is not compatible with the physical world we exist in, and downright abhorrent to contemplate. The concept of eternity is the ultimate affront against humans irrevocably confined to no way out if they ever wanted to decide that they do not like whatever they are confined to, and - again - who were not first asked to be brought into the existence they now exist in and are restricted to, correct?

Well, if deterioration and demise and miserable death was to be "the name of the game" in eternity, or (even worse) recurring deterioration and excruciating pain and miserable death over and over and over and over and over . . . never-ending in the eternal realm . . . what thanks and praise could possibly be made to such a fiendish, diabolical, and sadistic Creator?

The Scripture verse:

First Corinthians 15:19 If for this life only we have hoped in Christ, we are of all humans most to be pitied.

. . . not only could apply to righteous or to wicked, but to everyone?

EVERYONE is screwed by The Force of The Almighty Power?

The Bible, from Genesis to Revelation is largely rife and reeking with parables and historical stories of the sorry and sordid shenanigans of sickeningly-sinful human beings.

One account, however, indicates that the God who [unfairly?] placed the non-asked-for Tempter plus the dangerous-and-eventually-lethal poisonous Tree of the Knowledge of Good and Evil in The Garden also has kindly and appreciatively provided The One Contingency Plan of His own for promising not merely reconciliation and restoration (though not for deliberately-errant-and-rebelliously-disobedient humans in the majority, but instead) for the errant-by-non-solicited-default minority of humans more or less coerced by wicked demons and humans around them to do what such righteous humans did not and do not really intend nor want to do deep down.

A classic explanation:

Romans 7:5 While we were living according to godlessness, our sinful passions, aroused by the law, were at work in our members to bear fruit for death.
6 But now we are discharged from attempting to be justified by law, dead to that which held us captive, so that we serve not under the old written code but in the new life of the Spirit.
7 What then shall we say? That the law is sin? By no means! Yet, if it had not been for the law, I should not have known sin. I should not have known what it is to covet if the law had not said, "You shall not covet."
8 But sinful desire, finding opportunity in the commandment, wrought in me all kinds of covetousness. Apart from the law sinful desire lies dead.
9 I was once alive apart from the law, but when the commandment came, sinful desire revived and I died;
10 the very commandment which promised life proved to be death to me.
11 For sinful desire, finding opportunity in the commandment, deceived me and by it killed me.
12 So the law is holy, and the commandment is holy and just and good.
13 Did that which is good, then, bring death to me? By no means! It was sinful desire (exacerbated by the non-solicited duress of sinners surrounding me), working death in me through what is good, in order that sinful desire might be shown to be sin, and through the commandment might become sinful beyond measure.
14 We know that the law is spiritual; but I (duressed by sinners and their non-solicited sin around me) am carnal, sold under sin.
15 I do not understand my own actions. For I do not do what I want, but I do the very thing I hate.
16 Now if I do what I do not want, I agree that the law is good.
17 So then it is no longer I that do it, but sinful desire which resides within me (like it did with Eve-in-the-nude).
18 For I know that nothing good resides within me, that is, in my sinful-desire carnality. I can will what is right, but I cannot do it.
19 For I do not do the good I want, but the evil I do not want is what I do.
20 Now if I do what I do not want, it is no longer I that do it, but sinful-desire carnality which resides within me.
21 So I find it to be a law that when I want to do right, evil lies close at hand.
22 For I delight in the law of God, in my inmost self,
23 but I see in my members another law at war with the law of my mind and making me captive to the law of sinful-desire carnality which resides in my members.
24 Wretched (and confusing!) man that I am! Who will deliver me from this body of death?
25 Thanks be to God through Jesus Christ our Lord! So then, I of myself serve the law of God with my mind, but with my flesh I serve the law of sinful-desire carnality.

Habakkuk 1:4 So the law is slacked and justice never goes forth. For the wicked surround the righteous, so justice goes forth perverted.
Luke 17:2 It would be better for him if a millstone were hung round his neck and he were thrown into the sea, than that he should cause one of these little ones to sin.
John 15:25 It is to fulfill the word that is written in their law, 'They hated me without a cause.'
Acts 19:40 "For we are in danger of being charged with rioting today, there being no cause that we can give to justify this commotion."
Acts 26:11 And I punished them often in all the synagogues and tried to make them blaspheme; and in raging fury against them, I persecuted them even to foreign cities.
Romans 14:15 If your brother is being injured by [idol-sacrifice?] food you eat, you are no longer walking in love. Do not let what you eat cause the ruin of one for whom Christ died.

This unusual collection of religious books termed "The Judeo-Christian Sacred-66-books Holy Bible" (which non-prejudiced open-minded true scientists have no reasonable cause to ridiculously deny the existence of), authored and compiled by those claiming direct communication with The God of Nature and Creation (i.e. Jesus the Christ, as alluded to by inference in the "Old" and identified by name in the "New" "Testaments" of "The Bible"), refers to and predicts the coming existence of both an almost-unbelievably-wonderful everlasting Heaven and a non-imaginably-horrible everlasting Hell -- the former apportioned for those who have decided to like, be for, love, and acclaim their Creator . . . contrasted with those slated for the latter who have decided to dislike, be against, hate, and despise their Creator.

Matthew 13:17 Truthfully, I say to you, many prophets and righteous men longed to see what you see, and did not see it, and to hear what you hear, and did not hear it.

Colossians 1:11 May you be strengthened with all power, according to His glorious might, for all endurance and patience with joy,
12 giving thanks to the Father, who has qualified us to share in the inheritance of the saints in light.
13 He has delivered us from the dominion of darkness and transferred us to the kingdom of His beloved Son,

If perpetual-lifespan eternity has to be, that we have to be existing in the never-ending eternal realm in the afterlife, we can be pacified by the realization that there are TWO very-different options as to where and in what state we must exist in, involving our own sovereign freewill choice as to which one we can and will select:

The much-welcomed prospect of non-pollutable perpetual painlessness, forever removed from anything wrong and wicked, preserving all the good we have ever known and experienced during our lives, rejoicing in never-ending brilliant glory and ecstatic bliss with redeemed mid-20s-aged-equivalent human friends and relatives forever restored no longer with former old-age deformities or diseases but with renewed and vigorous purified like-mindedness, accentuated by fellowship and companionship of heavenly creatures exhibiting non-relenting divine allegiance, captivated by the genuinely-awesome sight and presence of The Omniscient and Omnipotent Holy Trinity, is certainly more-than-adequate redress for the despicable situation such saints and elect now are besieged with in this temporal life while pathetically surrounded by the accursed damned-to-become -- most of whom have not gotten to the realization in their absurdly-non-thinking immentality that such permanent sheep-from-goats non-inclusive complete-discriminatory-and-seclusionary quarantine is ultimately going to occur and they cannot do anything whatsoever to prevent or stop it from happening.

Daniel 12:3 And those who are wise shall shine like the brightness of heaven; and those who turn many to righteousness, like the stars forever.

Psalm 6:8 Depart from me, all you workers of evil; for the LORD has heard the sound of my weeping.
119:115 Depart from me, you evildoers, that I may keep the commandments of my God.
139:19 Oh that you would slay the wicked, God, and that humans of blood would depart away from me!

Matthew 13:36 Then He left the crowds and went into the house. And His disciples came to Him, saying, "Explain to us the parable of the weeds of the field."
37 He answered, "He who sows the good seed is the Son of Man;
38 the field is the world, and the good seed means the sons/daughters of the kingdom; the weeds are the sons/daughters of the evil one,
39 and the enemy who sowed them is The Devil; the harvest is The Close of The Age, and the Reapers are angels.
40 Just as the weeds are gathered and burned with fire, so will it be at The Close of The Age.
41 The Son of Man will send His angels, and they will gather out of His kingdom all causes of sin and all evildoers,
42 and throw them into The Furnace of Fire; there humans will weep and gnash their teeth.

Matthew 17:2 And He was transfigured before them, and His face shone like the sun, and His clothes became white as lightning.

Matthew 25:41 Then He will say to those at His left hand, 'Depart from me, you cursed, into The Eternal Fire prepared for The Devil and his angels;

Hebrews 12:22 But you have come to Mount Zion and to the city of the living God, the Heavenly Jerusalem, and to innumerable angels in festal gathering,
23 and to the assembly of the first-born who are enrolled in Heaven, and to a Judge who is God of all, and to the spirits of just humans made perfect,
24 and to Jesus, THE Mediator of a New Covenant, and to The Sprinkled Blood that speaks more graciously than the blood of Abel.

First Peter 5:10 And after you have suffered a little while, the God of all grace, who has called you to His eternal glory in Christ, will Himself restore, establish, and strengthen you.

Revelation 1:16 in His right hand He held seven stars, from His mouth issued a sharp two-edged sword, and His face was like the Sun shining in full strength.
Revelation 10:1 Then I saw another mighty angel coming down from heaven, wrapped in a cloud, with a [non-homogay Flood-and-Ark-reminiscent] rainbow over his head, and his face was like the sun, and his legs like pillars of fire.

Revelation 21:3 and I heard a loud voice from the throne saying, "Hey, the dwelling of God is with humans. He will reside with them, and they shall be His people, and God himself will be with them;
4 He will wipe away every tear from their eyes, and death shall be no more, neither shall there be mourning nor crying nor pain any more, for the former things have passed away."
5 And He who sat upon the throne said, "Hey, I make all things new." Also He said, "Write this, for these words are trustworthy and true."

Revelation 22:1 Then he showed me The River of The Water of Life, bright as crystal, flowing from The Throne of God and of the Lamb
2 through the middle of the street of the city; also, on either side of the river, The Tree of Life with its twelve kinds of fruit, yielding its fruit each month; and the leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations.
3 There shall no more be anything accursed, but the throne of God and of the Lamb shall be in it, and His servants shall worship Him;
4 they shall see His face, and His name shall be on their foreheads.
5 And night shall be no more; they need no light of lamp or sun, for the Lord God will be their light, and they shall reign to the ages of the ages.

Quite a different scenario than that of The Other Place:

Matthew 8:11 I tell you, many will come from east and west and sit at table with Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob in the kingdom of heaven,
Matthew 8:12 while the sons/daughters of the kingdom will be thrown into The Outer Darkness; there men/women will weep and gnash their teeth."

Matthew 22:13 Then the king said to the attendants, 'Bind him/her hand and foot, and throw him/her into The Outer Darkness; there humans will weep and gnash their teeth.'
Matthew 25:30 And throw the worthless servant into The Outer Darkness; there humans will weep and gnash their teeth.'

Luke 16:23 and in Hades, being in torment, he lifted up his eyes, and saw Abraham far off and Lazarus in his bosom.
Luke 16:24 And he called out, 'Father Abraham, have mercy upon me, and send Lazarus to dip the end of his finger in water and cool my tongue; for I am in anguish in this flame.'
Luke 16:28 for I have five brothers, so that he may warn them, lest they also come into this place of torment.'

Second Thessalonians 1:9 They shall suffer the punishment of eternal destruction and exclusion from the presence of the Lord and from the glory of His might

Revelation 14:9 And another angel, a third, followed them, saying with a loud voice, "If any one worships The Beast and his Image, and receives a Mark on his forehead or on his hand,
14:10 he/she also shall drink the wine of God's wrath, poured unmixed into the cup of His anger, and he/she shall be tormented with fire and sulphur in the presence of the holy angels and in the presence of the Lamb.
20:10 and The Devil who had deceived them was thrown into The Lake of Fire and Sulphur where The Beast and The False Prophet were, and they will be tormented [continuously, 24/7] to the ages of the ages.
20:15 and if any one's name was not found written in The Book of Life, he (or she) was thrown into The Lake of Fire.
