Beginning, Birds, & Begging

During the Christmas holidays of 2013, the cable TV networks CNN, the History Channel, and the Military Channel (not to mention such irreligious and perhaps-blasphemous spoofs as "Bruce Almighty" and similar) imposed pseudo-intellectual remarks and diatribes (some of which were blattered by high-paid collegiate professors and professorettes plus clergy-collared wolves-in-sheeps-clothing) supposedly relating to "The Bible" in which the subtle and devious pictures and commentaries were frequently-adiaphoric insidiously-misleading misrepresentations and presumptions which had the demonic effect of causing doubt and even disdain against the genuine contents of real Scripture by dissertating and fabricating stories, myths, tales, legends, and suppositions which have no historical nor faith-enhancing basis whatsoever regarding the given written contents of the actual Holy Bible.

Certain Scriptures apply to and expose such deception:

Psalm 5:6 You destroy those who speak lies; the LORD abhors bloodthirsty and deceitful humans.
43:1 Vindicate me, God, and defend my cause against a godless people; from deceitful and injust humans deliver me!
52:4 You love all words that devour, deceitful tongue.
78:57 ...[they] turned away and acted treacherously like their fathers; they twisted like a deceitful bow.
109:2 For wicked and deceitful mouths are opened against me, speaking against me with lying tongues.
120:2 Deliver me, LORD, from lying lips, from a deceitful tongue.
120:3 What shall be given to you? And what more shall be done to you, you deceitful tongue?

Ecclesiastes 12:12 My son, beware of anything beyond these. Of making many books there is no end, and much study is a weariness of the flesh.

Jeremiah 14:14 And the LORD said to me: "The prophets are prophesying lies in my name; I did not send them, nor did I command them or speak to them. They are prophesying to you a lying vision, worthless divination, and the deceit of their own minds."

Jeremiah 17:9 The heart is deceitful above all things, and desperately corrupt; who can understand it?

Jeremiah 23:16 Thus says the LORD of hosts: "Do not listen to the words of the prophets who prophesy to you, filling you with vain hopes; they speak visions of their own minds, not from the mouth of the LORD.

Jeremiah 23:28 "Let the prophet who has a dream tell the dream, but let him who has my word speak my word faithfully. What has straw in common with wheat?" says the LORD.
29 "Is not my word like fire," says the LORD, "and like a hammer which breaks the rock in pieces?"
30 "Therefore, hey, I am against the prophets," says the LORD, "who steal my words from one another."
31 "Hey, I am against the prophets," says the LORD, "who use their tongues and say, 'Says the LORD.'"
32 "Hey, I am against those who prophesy lying dreams, says the LORD, and who tell them and lead my people astray by their lies and their recklessness, when I did not send them or charge them; so they do not profit this people at all," says the LORD.
33 "When one of this people, or a prophet, or a priest asks you, 'What's the LORD's problem?' you shall say to them, 'You are the problem, and I will throw you off," says the LORD.

Ezekiel 13:2 "Son of man, prophesy against the prophets of Israel, prophesy and say to those who prophesy out of their own minds: 'Hear the word of the LORD!'"
Ezekiel 13:17 "And you, son of man, set your face against the daughters of your people, who prophesy out of their own minds; prophesy against them."

Zephaniah 3:13 "...those who are left in Israel shall do no wrong and utter no lies, nor shall there be found in their mouth a deceitful tongue. For they shall pasture and lie down, and none shall make them afraid."

Acts 11:26 ...and when he had found him, he brought him to Antioch. For a whole year they met with the church, and taught a large company of people; and in Antioch the disciples were for the first time called Christians.

Romans 16:17 I appeal to you, brethren, to take note of those who create dissensions and difficulties, in opposition to the doctrine which you have been taught; avoid them.

First Corinthians 1:18 For the word of the cross is foolishness to those who are perishing, but to us who are being saved it is the power of God.
19 For it is written, "I will destroy the wisdom of the wise, and the cleverness of the clever I will thwart."
20 Where is the wise human? Where is the scribe? Where is the debater of this age? Has not God made foolish the wisdom of the world?
21 For since, in the wisdom of God, the world did not know God through wisdom, it pleased God through the folly of what we preach to save those who believe.
22 For Jews demand signs and Greeks seek wisdom,
23 but we preach Christ crucified, a stumbling block to Jews and foolishness to the nations,
24 but to those who are called, both Jews and Greeks, Christ the power of God and the wisdom of God.
25 For the foolishness of God is wiser than humans, and the weakness of God is stronger than humans.
26 For consider your call, brethren; not many of you were wise according to worldly standards, not many were powerful, not many were of noble birth;
27 but God chose what is foolish in the world to shame the wise, God chose what is weak in the world to shame the strong,
28 God chose what is low and despised in the world, even things that are not, to bring to nothing things that are,
29 so that no human being might boast in the presence of God.
30 He is the source of your life in Christ Jesus, whom God made our wisdom, our righteousness and sanctification and redemption;
31 therefore, as it is written, "Let him who boasts, boast of the Lord."

Second Corinthians 2:17 For we are not, like so many, peddlers of God's word; but as men of sincerity, as commissioned by God, in the sight of God we speak in Christ.

Second Corinthians 4:2 We have renounced disgraceful, underhanded ways; we refuse to practice cunning or to tamper with God's word, but by the open statement of the truth we would commend ourselves to every human's conscience in the sight of God.

Second Corinthians 11:3 But I am afraid that as the serpent deceived Eve by his cunning, your thoughts will be led astray from a sincere and pure devotion to Christ.
11:4 For if some one comes and preaches another Jesus than the one we preached, or if you receive a different spirit from the one you received, or if you accept a different gospel from the one you accepted, you submit to it readily enough.
11:5 I think that I am not in the least inferior to these superlative apostles.
11:13 For such humans are false apostles, deceitful workmen, disguising themselves as apostles of Christ.

Second Corinthians 12:11 I have been a fool! You forced me to it, for I ought to have been commended by you. For I was not at all inferior to these superlative apostles, even though I am nothing.

Ephesians 4:14 ...so that we may no longer be children, tossed back and forth and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the cunning of men, by their craftiness in deceitful wiles.

First Timothy 1:3 As I urged you when I was going to Macedonia, remain at Ephesus that you may charge certain persons not to teach any different doctrine...

First Timothy 4:1 Now the Spirit expressly says that in later times some will depart from the faith by giving heed to deceitful spirits and doctrines of demons...

First Timothy 6:20 Oh Timothy, guard what has been entrusted to you. Avoid the godless chatter and contradictions of what is falsely called knowledge.
First Timothy 6:21 for by professing it some have missed the mark as regards the faith. Grace be with you.

Titus 1:7 For a bishop, as God's steward, must be blameless; he must not be arrogant or quick-tempered or a drunkard or violent or greedy for gain,
9 he must hold firm to the sure word as taught, so that he may be able to give instruction in sound doctrine and also to confute those who contradict it.
10 For there are many insubordinate men, empty talkers and deceivers, especially the circumcision party;
11 they must be silenced, since they are upsetting whole families by teaching for base gain what they have no right to teach.
16 They profess to know God, but they deny him by their deeds; they are detestable, disobedient, unfit for any good deed.

Titus 2:1 But as for you, teach what befits sound doctrine.

Second John 1:9 Any one who goes ahead and does not stay in the doctrine of Christ does not have God; he who stays in the doctrine has both the Father and the Son.
Second John 1:10 If any one comes to you and does not bring this doctrine, do not receive him into the house or give him any greeting...

Jude 1:4 For admission has been secretly gained by some who long ago were designated for this condemnation, godless persons who pervert the grace of our God into licentiousness and deny our only Master and Lord, Jesus Christ.

Concerning those who gullibly then deliberately and rebelliously have sucked in the half-lies spewed out by CNN, the History Channel, the Military Channel, and other with false claims of "enlightenment" as sudden and non-substantiated know-it-alls who in fact know nothing but apostate heresies they and others have concocted which they allege to be "about the Bible" instead of what is in fact IN the Bible itself....consider the source (Satan): the father of lies who was a murderer from the beginning (as Jesus stated as faithfully and accurately recorded by Divinely-inspired human authors of and in Scripture).

Beginning:

Is the narrative account of the Old-Testament book of Genesis to be considered "fable" or "myth" or "legend" or figurative/symbolic "story" -- or instead adequately-detailed historical record containing accurate and valid facts belonging to the sciences of theology, philosophy, geology, anthropology, and zoology? Did persons of repute and significance mentioned in the New Testament regard the information contained in Genesis as fictional metaphors or allegories . . . or instead actual historical happenings which literally occurred?

Second Peter 3:5 For of this they are willfully ignorant: that by the Word of God the heavens were of old, and the earth standing out of the water and in the water,
Second Peter 3:6 whereby the world, as it then was, became overflowed with water and perished.
Second Peter 3:7 But the heavens and the earth which now are, by the same Word are kept in store, reserved for fire in the Day of Judgment and perdition against godless humans.

Hebrews 4:4 For he has somewhere spoken of the seventh day in this way, "And God rested on the seventh day from all his works."

Matthew 19:4 He answered, "Have you not read that he who made them from the beginning made them male and female,
Mark 10:6 But from the beginning of creation, 'God made them male and female.'

Romans 5:14 But death reigned from Adam to Moses, even over those who had not sinned in the likeness of the transgression of Adam, who is the type of Him who was to come.

First Corinthians 15:22 For as in Adam all die, so also in Christ shall all be made alive.
First Corinthians 15:45 Thus it is written, "The first man Adam became a living being"; the last Adam became a life-giving spirit.

Jude 1:14 And Enoch, the seventh from Adam, also prophesied to these, saying, "Hey, the Lord came with myriads of His saints . . .

Luke 11:49 Therefore also the Wisdom of God said, 'I will send them prophets and apostles, some of whom they will kill and persecute,'
50 that the blood of all the prophets, shed from the founding of the world, may be required of this generation,
51 from the blood of Abel to the blood of Zechariah, who perished between the altar and the sanctuary. Yes, I tell you, it shall be required of this generation.

Second Corinthians 11:3 But I am afraid that as the serpent deceived Eve by his cunning, your thoughts will be led astray from a sincere and pure devotion to Christ.
First Timothy 2:13 For Adam was formed first, then Eve;
First Timothy 2:14 and Adam was not deceived, but the [ inferior-gender ] woman was deceived and became a transgressor.

Luke 17:26 As it was in the days of Noah, so will it be in the days of the Son of man.
Luke 17:27 They ate, they drank, they [ breathed air, they urinated and defecated, they ] married [ they self-sodomizingly masturbated and fornicated and adulterized and homosodomized ], they were given in marriage [ they divorced ], until the day when Noah entered the ark, and the flood came and destroyed them all.

Hebrews 11:7 By faith Noah, being warned by God concerning events as yet not seen, took precaution and constructed an ark for the saving of his household; by this he condemned the world and became an heir of the righteousness which comes by faith.

First Peter 3:18 For Christ also once suffered for sins, the just for the non-just, that He might bring us to God, indeed being put to death in the flesh, but made alive in the Spirit;
19 in which also He went and preached to the spirits in prison,
20 who formerly did not obey, when God's patience waited in the days of Noah, during the building of the ark, in which a few, that is, eight persons, were saved through water.

Second Peter 2:4 For if God did not spare the angels when they sinned, but threw them into Tartarus [ i.e. darkness of the deepest abyss ] and committed them to pits of nether gloom to be kept until the judgment;
5 if he did not spare the ancient world, but preserved Noah, a herald of righteousness, with seven other persons, when he brought a flood upon the world of the godless;
6 if by turning the cities of Sodom and Gomorrah to ashes he condemned them to extinction and made them an example to those who were to be godless;
7 and if he rescued righteous Lot, greatly distressed by the [porno-immodest] licentiousness of the wicked
8 (for by what that righteous man saw and heard as he lived among them, he was vexed in his righteous soul day after day with their lawless deeds),
9 then the Lord knows how to rescue the godly from trial, and to keep the non-righteous under punishment until The Day of Judgment,
10 and especially those who indulge in the lust of defiling passion and despise authority.

Luke 17:28 So also as it was in the days of Lot: they ate, they drank, they bought, they sold, they planted, they built;
29 but the day Lot went out of Sodom, it rained fire and brimstone from the heaven and destroyed them all.
30 Even so it shall be [ on Final Judgment Day when heaven and earth are dissolved and annihilated in fiery heat after which The Great White Throne descends ] when the Son of Man is revealed.
31 In that day [ on Final Judgment Day when heaven and earth are dissolved and annihilated in fiery heat after which The Great White Throne descends ] he who shall be on the housetop, and his goods in the house, let him not come down to take them away. And likewise, he who is in the field, let him not return to the things behind. [ Application: Forget the storage units and the U-Haul trailers ]
32 Remember Lot's wife [ her salty body ].
33 Whoever shall seek to save his life shall lose it, and whoever shall lose his life shall preserve it.
34 I tell you, in that night [ on Final Judgment Day when heaven and earth are dissolved and annihilated in fiery heat after which The Great White Throne descends ] there shall be two in one bed, the one shall be taken, and the other shall be left.
35 Two shall be grinding together [ on Final Judgment Day when heaven and earth are dissolved and annihilated in fiery heat after which The Great White Throne descends ], one will be taken, and the other left.
36 Two shall be in the field [ on Final Judgment Day when heaven and earth are dissolved and annihilated in fiery heat after which The Great White Throne descends ], one will be taken, and the other left.
37 And they answered and said to Him, Where, Lord? And He said to them, Wherever the body is, there the eagles will be gathered together.

Romans 9:29 And as Isaiah predicted, "If the Lord of hosts had not left us children, we would have fared like Sodom and been made like Gomorrah."

Jude 1:7 just as Sodom and Gomorrah and the surrounding cities, which likewise acted immorally and indulged in unnatural lust [ in stark contrast to normal and natural and legitimate eroticism ], serve as an example by undergoing a punishment of eternal fire.

The Birds:

How many of us have seen the Alfred Hitchcock horror movie The Birds in which seagulls and crows suddenly swarm nearby then upon random people, smashing through house and building windows to assault them with demonic vengeance and/or hunger -- and swooping down to attack hapless humans with beaks and claws on helpless victims trying to flee away and hide away in secure shelters? How many of us have read about groups of killer bees that attack people in the open fields? What does Scripture say about such unsettling presentations?

Genesis 9:2 The fear of you and the dread of you shall be upon every beast of the earth, and upon every bird of the air, upon everything that creeps on the ground and all the fish of the sea; into your hand they are delivered.

Exodus 14:26 Then the LORD said to Moses, "Stretch out your hand over the sea, that the water may come back upon the Egyptians, upon their chariots, and upon their horsemen."
27 So Moses stretched forth his hand over the sea, and the sea returned to its usual flow when the morning appeared; and the Egyptians fled into it, and the LORD routed the Egyptians in the midst of the sea.
28 The waters returned and covered the chariots and the horsemen and all the host of Pharaoh that had followed them into the sea; not so much as one of them remained.
29 But the people of Israel walked on dry ground through the sea, the waters being a wall [ at least five feet high, and probably MUCH MUCH more, depending upon the tides and the dry season ] to them on their right hand and on their left.
30 Thus the LORD saved Israel that day from the hand of the Egyptians; and Israel saw the Egyptians dead upon the seashore.

Exodus 15:12 You did didst stretch out your right hand, the earth swallowed them.
Hebrews 11:29 By faith the people crossed the Red Sea as if on dry land; but the Egyptians, when they attempted to do the same, were drowned.

Exodus 16:13 In the evening quails came up and covered the camp; and in the morning dew [ manna ] lay round about the camp.
Exodus 23:28 And I will send hornets before you, which shall drive out Hivite, Canaanite, and Hittite from before you. [ even technical piperonyl butoxide and N,N-diethylmetatoluamide, or RAID, won't help ]

Numbers 11:31 And there went forth a wind from the LORD, and it brought quails from the sea, and let them fall beside the camp, about a day's journey on this side and a day's journey on the other side, round about the camp, and about two cubits above the face of the earth.
Numbers 11:32 And the people rose all that day, and all night, and all the next day, and gathered the quails; he who gathered least gathered ten homers; and they spread them out for themselves all around the camp.
Psalm 105:40 They asked, and he brought quails, and gave them bread from heaven [ manna? ] in abundance.

Numbers 16:28 And Moses said, "Hereby you shall know that the LORD has sent me to do all these works, and that it has not been of my own accord.
29 If these men die the common death of all men, or if they are visited by the fate of all men, then the LORD has not sent me.
30 But if the LORD creates something new, and the ground opens its mouth, and swallows them up, with all that belongs to them, and they go down alive into Sheol, then you shall know that these men have despised the LORD."
31 And as he finished speaking all these words, the ground under them split apart;
32 and the earth opened its mouth and swallowed them up, with their households and all the men that belonged to Korah and all their goods.

Deuteronomy 7:20 Moreover the LORD your God will send hornets among them [ and you might have thought that Hitchcock's imaginary diving-and-picking crow-and-gull swarms were bad ], until those who are left and hide themselves from you are destroyed.

Joshua 24:12 And I sent the hornet before you [ that ACTUALLY happened! ], which drove them out before you, the two kings of the Amorites; it was not by your sword or by your bow [ or fire torches, birdshot blasts, electrical-mesh fences, grind-them-to-pulp superfans, nerve-gas sprays, etc. ].

First Kings 17:1 Now Elijah the Tishbite, of Tishbe in Gilead, said to Ahab, "As the LORD the God of Israel lives, before whom I stand, there shall be neither dew nor rain these years, except by my word."
2 And the word of the LORD came to him,
3 "Leave here and turn eastward, and hide yourself by the brook Cherith, that is east of the Jordan.
4 You shall drink from the brook, and I have commanded the ravens to feed you there."
5 So he went and did according to the word of the LORD; he went and lived by the brook Cherith that is east of the Jordan.
6 And the [ on-time ] ravens brought him bread and meat in the morning [ by beaks and claws or both: dependable special delivery by air transport, with no tipping required ], and bread and meat in the evening [ two meals a day ]; and he drank from the [ non-polluted ] brook.
7 And after a while the brook dried up, because there was no rain in the land.
8 Then the word of the LORD came to him,
9 "Get up, go to Zarephath, which belongs to Sidon, and dwell there. Hey, I have commanded a widow there to feed you." [the Lord had connections, and special agents here and there ]
10 So he got up and went to Zarephath; and when he came to the gate of the city, hey, a widow was there gathering sticks; and he called to her and said, "Bring me a little water in a vessel, that I may drink." [ testing her out ]
11 And as she was going to bring it, he called to her and said, "Bring me a morsel of bread in your hand."
12 And she said, "As the LORD your God lives, I have nothing baked, only a handful of meal in a jar, and a little oil in a bottle; and now, I am gathering a couple of sticks, that I may go in and prepare it for myself and my son, that we may eat it, and die."
13 And Elijah said to her [ "Your mission, should you decide to accept it . . . " ], "Fear not; go and do as you have said; but first make me a little cake of it and bring it to me, and afterward make for yourself and your son.
14 For thus says the LORD the God of Israel, 'The jar of meal shall not be spent, and the bottle of oil shall not fail, until the day that the LORD sends rain upon the earth.'" [ happy hannuka, for REAL this time - maybe without the colored Christmas lights on the SEVEN - not nine - candlesticks of the menorah ]
15 And she went and did as Elijah said; and she, and he, and her household ate for many days. [ really saved on the grocery bill ]
16 The jar of meal was not spent, neither did the cruse of oil fail, according to the word of the LORD which he spoke by Elijah. [ some pronounce it: "channuka" I guess ]

First Kings 20:36 Then he said to him, "Because you have not obeyed the voice of the LORD, hey, as soon as you have gone from me, a lion shall kill you." And as soon as he had gone away from him, a lion met him and killed him.

Second Kings 1:10 But Elijah answered the captain of fifty [ national-guard squadron ], "If I am a man of God, let fire come down from heaven and consume you and your fifty." Then fire came down from heaven, and consumed him and his fifty. [ Too bad for the new widows back home, and the captain who caught heck when he got back to his commanding officer for wasting his troops ]
Second Kings 1:12 But Elijah answered them, "If I am a man of God, let fire come down from heaven and consume you and your fifty [ another and different next set of national-guard squadron ]." Then the fire of God came down from heaven and consumed him and his fifty. [ that's two squadrons of picked soldiers incinerated, and no way to try to win a war. Forget Hitchcock's birds with THAT type of Divine weaponry. ]

Second Kings 2:24 And [Elisha] turned around, and when he saw them, he cursed them in the name of the LORD. And two she-bears came out of the woods and tore forty-two of the boys. [ Call 911, and overload the ambulances ]

Second Kings 9:36 When they came back and told him, he said, "This is the word of the LORD, which he spoke by his servant Elijah the Tishbite, 'In the territory of Jezreel the dogs shall eat the flesh of Jezebel. [ we live in a dog-eat-dog world, and everyone is wearing milk-bone underwear ]

Job 28:28 And he said to man, 'Hey, the fear of the Lord, that is wisdom; and to go away from evil is understanding.'

Proverbs 1:7 The fear of the LORD is the beginning of knowledge; fools despise wisdom and instruction.
9:10 The fear of the LORD is the beginning of wisdom, and the knowledge of the Holy One is insight.
10:27 The fear of the LORD prolongs life, but the years of the wicked will be short.
14:26 In the fear of the LORD one has strong confidence, and his children will have a refuge.
14:27 The fear of the LORD is a fountain of life, that one may avoid the snares of death.
15:16 Better is a little with the fear of the LORD than great treasure and trouble with it.
15:33 The fear of the LORD is instruction in wisdom, and humility goes before honor.
16:6 By loyalty and faithfulness iniquity is atoned for, and by the fear of the LORD a man avoids evil.
19:23 The fear of the LORD leads to life; and he who has it rests satisfied; he will not be visited by harm.
29:25 The fear of man lays a snare, but he who trusts in the LORD is safe.

Proverbs 30:17 The eye that mocks a father and scorns to obey a mother will be picked out by the ravens of the valley and eaten by the vultures. [ whether it was near-sighted or far-sighted, with or without glaucoma and/or cataracts ]

Jeremiah 32:40 I will make with them an everlasting covenant, that I will not turn away from doing good to them; and I will put the fear of me in their hearts, that they may not turn from me.

Daniel 6:24 And the king [ Darius ] commanded, and those men who had [ jealously ] accused [ the Hebrew praying-man ] Daniel were brought and tossed into the den of lions -- they, their children, and their wives; and before they reached the bottom of the den the lions overpowered them and broke all their bones in pieces. [ worse than Hitchcock's special-effects bird swarms ]

Matthew 7:6 "Do not give dogs what is holy; and do not throw your pearls before swine, lest they trample them under foot and turn to attack you." [ Devil dogs, hounds of hell. WHAT has gotten into them? ]

Matthew 8:30 Now a herd of many swine was feeding at some distance from them.
8:31 And the demons begged Him, "If you throw us out, send us away into the herd of swine." [ have to go somewhere else, without infesting another human being causing him or her to terroristically go wild and insane ]
8:32 And He said to them, "Go." So they came out and went into the swine; and hey, the whole herd rushed down the steep bank into the sea, and perished in the water. [ crazy pigs, which were "possessed" ]

Mark 5:11 Now a great herd of swine was feeding there on the hillside;
5:12 and they begged Him, "Send us to the swine, let us enter them."
5:13 And immediately Jesus allowed them. And the unclean spirits went out and entered into the pigs. And the herd (numbering around two thousand) ran violently down a steep place into the sea, and were choked [ i.e. suffocated ] in the sea. [ i.e. "water" - as it states in Matthew ], and were drowned in the sea. [what a waste of pork chops, ham, and bacon ]
5:16 And those who had seen it told what had happened to the demoniac and to the swine. [ Holy Exorcism! ]

Luke 8:32 Now a large herd of swine was feeding there on the hillside; and they begged him to let them enter these. So He let them.
Luke 8:33 Then the demons came out of the man and entered the swine, and the herd rushed down the steep bank into the lake [ this time it's a "lake" and not a "sea" ] and were drowned. [ financial disaster to the pork herders, slaughter stockyards, and FDA-inspected-and-approved meat markets ] 'BACK TO THE FUTURE" (without the nuclear-powered 88 mph car): Luke 17:37 And they answered and said to Him, Where, Lord? And He said to them, Wherever the body is, there the eagles will be gathered together.

Revelation 19:17 And I saw one angel standing in the sun. And he cried with a great voice, saying to all the birds that fly in mid-heaven, Come and gather together to the supper of the great God, [ THAT Hitchcock-reminiscent scenario will be for REAL, and probably vultures will be involved ]
18 so that you may eat the flesh of kings, and the flesh of commanders, and the flesh of strong ones, and the flesh of horses, and those sitting on them, and the flesh of all, both free and slave, both small and great.
19 And I saw The Beast, and the kings of the earth and their armies, being gathered to make war against Him who sat on the horse, and against His army.
20 And The Beast was taken, and with him The False Prophet doing signs before it, (by which he deceived those who had received The Mark of The Beast), and those who had worshiped his image. The two were thrown alive into The Lake of Fire burning with brimstone.
21 And the rest were slain by the sword of Him who sat on the horse, proceeding out of His mouth. And all the birds were gorged with their flesh.

Begging:

Have you seen guys (and occasional gals) now and then standing on a street corner at an intersection with a somewhat sullen look on their faces as they hold up a sign with their hands in front of them begging for money for whatever excuse they have imprinted on their signs? Does their presence so close to your spotless and non-dented vehicle as you wait for the light to change from red to green unsettle you and make you feel uncomfortable and apprehensive being put under implied imposition to fork over some sudden handout for whatever purpose the [ professional? ] beggar actually has in mind?

Have you ever been approached by or passed close to particularly a negroid dude asking for some pocket change for whatever cause or purpose he says that he wants it for but inwardly actually intends to use it for?

Have you ever heard your house or apartment doorbell or buzzer sound off, only to find someone outside your door is inconveniently disturbing you by soliciting you for a survey, or to purchase something you do not really need from them, or wanting to give you religious indoctrination, or asking for your vote in an upcoming election, or whatever?

Have you ever been besieged by nuisance and non-asked-for telemarketing calls for whatever causes, especially at inconvenient times?

What does the Bible says about so disrupting people's lives by such begging and soliciting?

Deuteronomy 15:6 For the LORD your God will bless you, as he promised you, and you shall lend to many nations, but you shall not borrow; and you shall rule over many nations, but they shall not rule over you.
7 If there is among you a poor man, one of your brethren, in any of your towns within your land which the LORD your God gives you, you shall not harden your heart or shut your hand against your poor brother,
8 but you shall open your hand to him, and lend him sufficient for his need, whatever it may be.
10 You shall give to him freely, and your heart shall not be grudging when you give to him; because for this the LORD your God will bless you in all your work and in all that you undertake.
11 For the poor will never cease out of the land; therefore I command you, You shall open wide your hand to your brother, to the needy and to the poor, in the land.

Psalm 109:10 May his children wander about and beg; may they be driven out of the ruins they inhabit!

Proverbs 21:13 He who closes his ear to the cry of the poor will himself cry out and not be heard.
Proverbs 22:7 The rich rules over the poor, and the borrower is the slave [ Hey, po'-beggie negroid black-boy: SLAVE! What do you think of that? ] of the lender.
Proverbs 28:27 He who gives to the poor will not want, but he who hides his eyes will get many a curse.

Matthew 5:42 Give to him who begs from you [ with or without a gun ], and do not refuse him who would "borrow" from you. [ even if he demands your entire bank account total, and ousts you out of your own house and/or car? ]

Matthew 7:6 Do not give dogs [ caucasian, negroid, and/or asian ] what is holy; and do not throw your pearls before swine [ caucasian, negroid, and/or asian ], lest they trample them under foot and turn to attack you.

Matthew 15:26 And he answered, "It is not fair to take the children's bread and throw it to the dogs."

Matthew 18:34 And in anger his lord delivered [ the beggar who had begged from him] to the jailers, till he paid all his debt.

Matthew 25:1 Then shall the kingdom of Heaven be likened to ten virgins, who took their lamps and went out to meet the bridegroom.
2 And five of them were wise, and five were foolish.
3 The foolish ones took their lamps, but took no oil with them.
4 But the wise took oil in their vessels with their lamps.
5 While the bridegroom delayed, they all dozed off and slept.
6 And at midnight there was a shout made: "Hey, the bridegroom comes! Go out to meet him.
7 Then all those virgins got up and adjusted their lamps.
8 And the foolish said to the wise, Give us some of your oil, for our lamps have gone out.
9 But the wise answered, saying, No, because there be not enough for us and you. But rather go to those who sell, and buy for yourselves.
10 And while they went to buy, the bridegroom came. And they who were ready went in with him to the marriage, and the door was shut.
11 Afterwards the other virgins came also, saying, "Lord, Lord, open to us."
12 But he answered and said, "Truly I say to you, I do not know you."

Luke 16:3 And the steward said within himself, What shall I do? For my lord is taking the stewardship away from me. I cannot dig; I am ashamed to beg.

Luke 18:1 And He told them a parable, so that they ought always to pray and not get discouraged.
2 He said, "In a certain city there was a judge who neither feared God nor regarded man;
3 and there was a widow in that city who kept coming to him and saying, 'Vindicate me against my adversary.'
4 For a while he refused; but afterward he said to himself, 'Though I neither fear God nor regard man,
5 yet because this widow bothers me [ with her relentless and insistent begging ], I will vindicate her, or she will wear me out by her continual coming.'"

John 12:4 But Judas Iscariot, one of His disciples (he who was to betray him), said,
5 "Why was this ointment not sold for three hundred denarii and given to the poor?"
6 This he said, not that he cared for the poor but because he was a thief, and as he had the money box he used to take what was put into it.

John 12:8 The poor you always have with you, but you do not always have me."

Acts 3:1 And on the same day Peter and John went up into the temple at the hour of prayer, the ninth hour.
2 And a certain man, who was lame from his mother's womb, was being carried. And they laid him daily at that temple gate which is called Beautiful, to ask alms from those who entered into the temple.
3 Seeing Peter and John about to go into the temple, he asked to receive alms.
4 And fastening his eyes on him, Peter with John said, Look on us!
5 And he paid heed to them, expecting to receive something from them.
6 But Peter said, "Silver and gold have I none . . . [ Sorry! Too bad - Better luck with someone else - THAT'S the way it goes . . . ]?

[ but, as Paul Harvey might have said: "You want to hear the rest of the story?" ]

. . . but what I have I give you. In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, rise up and walk!"
7 And taking him by the right hand, he lifted him up. And immediately his feet and ankle-bones received strength. [ Do NOT try that at the nursing home or hospital unless you know what you are doing ]
8 And leaping up, he stood and walked and entered with them into the temple, walking and leaping and praising God.

Romans 13:8 Owe no one anything, except to love one another; for he who loves his neighbor has fulfilled the law.

Romans 15:27 they were pleased to do it, and indeed they are in debt to them, for if the nations have come to share in their spiritual blessings, they ought also to be of service to them in material blessings [ consider it a "tax" or a "fee" or [ hopefully-NOT pre-existing Obamascare ] "admission charge?" ]

Colossians 3:23 Whatever your task, work heartily, as serving the Lord and not [ Obamanation ],
24 knowing that from the Lord you will receive the inheritance as your reward; you are serving the Lord Christ.
25 For the wrongdoer will be paid back for the wrong he/she has done, and there is no partiality.

Second Thessalonians 3:10 For even when we were with you, we gave you this command: If any one will not work, let him not eat.
11 For we hear that some of you are living in idleness, mere busybodies, not doing any work.
12 Now such persons we command and exhort in the Lord Jesus Christ to do their work in quietness and to earn their own living. [ and do not worry about Obamanation deceitfully taking credit for increased employment and decreasing unemployment. God will see to it that House Republicans and good Senate Republicans, among various genuinely-Christian-oriented others, get rewarded for doing the good they can regarding this issue ].

First Timothy 5:8 If any one does not provide for his relatives, and especially for his own family, he has disowned the faith and is worse than a disbeliever.

James 2:14 What does it profit, my brethren, if a man says he has faith but has not works? Can his faith save him?
15 If a brother or sister is ill-clad and in lack of daily food,
16 and one of you says to them, "Go in peace, be warmed and filled," without giving them the things needed for the body, what does it profit?
17 So faith by itself, if it has no works, is dead.

Second John 1:10 If any one comes to you and does not bring this doctrine [ of Jesus Christ and His law and gospel ], do not receive him [ nor her ] into the house or give him/her any greeting . . .

Oh, and one more thing . . .

[ And that is, Detective Columbo? ]

The best way to stop a child from loud bawling when the kid has no good cause to cry is to gently but firmly cover their mouth (if they do not have a cold, but not cover their nose) with one's hand until they stop from exhaustion trying to continue to cry (a technique perfected by the wife).

It works.

Sort of reminds me of:

First Kings 3:16 Then two harlots came to the king, and stood before [Solomon].
17 The one woman said, "Oh, my lord, this woman and I reside in the same house; and I gave birth to a child while she was in the house.
18 Then on the third day after I was delivered, this woman also gave birth; and we were alone; there was no one else with us in the house, only we two were in the house.
19 And this woman's son died in the night, because she lay on him.
20 And she got up at midnight, and took my son from beside me, while your maidservant slept, and laid him in her bosom, and laid her dead son in my bosom.
21 When I rose in the morning to nurse my child, hey, he was dead; but when I looked at him closely in the morning, behold, he was not the child who I had borne."
22 But the other woman said, "No, the living child is mine, and the dead child is yours." The first said, "No, the dead child is yours, and the living child is mine." Thus they spoke before the king.
23 Then the king said, "The one says, 'This is my son that is alive, and your son is dead'; and the other says, 'No; but your son is dead, and my son is the living one.'"
24 And the king said, "Bring me a sword." So a sword was brought before the king.
25 And the king said, "Divide the living child in two, and give half to the one, and half to the other."
26 Then the woman whose son was alive said to the king, because her heart yearned for her son, "Oh, my lord, give her the living child, and by no means slay him." But the other said, "It [ it? ] shall be neither mine nor yours; divide IT."
27 Then the king answered and said, "Give the living child to the first woman, and by no means slay him [not "it" ]; she is his mother."
28 And all Israel heard of the judgment which the king had rendered; and they stood in awe of the king, because they perceived that the wisdom of God was in him, to render justice.
