"Bail" Buzz

"Weapons of Mass Destruction." "Economic Stimulus." "Bailout Bill."

Where does the network media come up with such simplistic, childish-sounding buzzword phrases for the masses to mouth?

The repeatedly-uttered phrase "stimulus" on network TV, radio, and in print sounds like some Pavlovian experiment concocted by some demented psychiatric sociologist, and even might have a sexual inference and implication to the sensuous. The word "bailout" relates to some nautical distress of a sinking ship relating to some loony navy sailor.

Whatever the source of such media silliness babbled over and over by conformist morlocks, the sensible are aware of present financial concerns and problems.

The proverbial 'straw that broke the camels back' was of course the now-months-in-the-past ridiculous spike in gasoline prices at the service-station pumps nationwide. All who were responsible for that are chiefly to blame to setting the cascading and spiraling domino-effect of falling-house-of-cards economic disaster in motion.

Am 5:19 as if a man fled from a lion, and a bear met him; or went into the house and leaned with his hand against the wall, and a serpent bit him.

The buy-on-credit, finanically-irresponsible and presumptive (worse-than-casino-slots/pulltabs gambling) greed of many has resulted in disaster against (not "for") most everyone:

Hag 1:6 You have sown much, and harvested little; you eat, but you never have enough; you drink, but you never have your fill; you clothe yourselves, but no one is warm; and he who earns wages earns wages to put them into a bag with holes.

Those who "invested" (i.e. threw away) money with Securities-and-Exchange-Commission-approved Madoff without properly-investigative oversight have experienced:

Isa 55:2 Why do you spend your money for that which is not bread, and your labor for that which does not satisfy? Hearken diligently to me, and eat what is good, and delight yourselves in fatness.

Lies were based on lies. Similar to the dishonest disclaimer at the end of Hollywood movies that "the actions of the actors do not represent any real person in real life," so the advertisements for questionable investment publicized in print dishonestly claim that such advertisements are not solicitations to sell security (which obviously such advertisements indeed are solicitations).....even though the fine print states that all principal "invested" is at risk and not insured by the FDIC. So Madoff had and has an excuse to screw people with Ponzi tactics (and ignore the Seventh Commandment, being that we in Jesus are now freed from the Law and thus can gleefully or reluctantly disobey it....or is it instead that we are free from regarding our frequently-futile attempts to perfectly obey the Law as substitute Atonement in place of Christ's sacrifice of Himself on a cross)?

But what of the rife-and-reeking-with-pork $800+ Spending Bill (note that I did not call it "bailout") Barack wants Dems and Repubs of Congress to shove down the throats of the American people? Will spending on wasteful boondoggles targeted to and intended for acquiring secular-special-interest voter and re-election loyalty actually put rebate checks into the pockets of Christians deserving them and get such saints of the Lord jobs to continue to get the funds needed to pay monthly residual expenses?

Much in the $800+ Spending Bill is blatanly inexcusable. It is as if the President of Apple/Macintosh directed his Chief Accountant to force each employee of Apple/Mac to take out a high-interest loan for each to be burdened with a new 18-wheeler semi in their inner-city residential driveway - when most of the employees neither had the need nor the desire to have such a monstrosity taking up precious parking space in front of their house and their neighbor's houses. That is a similar scenario to the objection senators and representatives of Congress have in saddling themselves and their particular back-in-their-own-state constituents with a huge and foolish debt involved with government printing more increasingly-worthless paper IOU "money."

What does Scripture say about the fallacious worse-than-casino-slots/pulltabs-gambling idiotology of loosening "I'll-pay-it-all-off-by-and-by" credit, facilitating the taking out of loans by those who cannot afford them, and increasing addictive and obsessive consumer spending for items and services consumers do not really need by incessant media-advertising seductive coercion and relentless duress? Will that put money in people's wallets and bank accounts? Would they not be financially helped by giving them money to save for a rainy day and for nonexpected emergencies?

Job 15:20 The wicked man writhes in pain all his days, through all the years that are laid up for the ruthless.
21 Terrifying sounds are in his ears; in prosperity the destroyer will come upon him.
23 He wanders abroad for bread, saying, 'Where is it?' He knows that a day of darkness is ready at his hand;
24 distress and anguish terrify him; they prevail against him, like a king prepared for battle.
25 Because he has stretched forth his hand against God, and bids defiance to the Almighty,
29 he will not be rich, and his wealth will not endure, nor will he strike root in the earth;
30 he will not escape from darkness; the flame will dry up his shoots, and his blossom will be swept away by the wind.
31 Let him not trust in emptiness, deceiving himself; for emptiness will be his recompense.
32 It will be paid in full before his time, and his branch will not be green.
33 He will shake off his unripe grape, like the vine, and cast off his blossom, like the olive tree.
34 For the company of the godless is barren, and fire consumes the tents of bribery.
35 They conceive mischief and bring forth evil and their heart prepares deceit."

19 he will go to the generation of his fathers, who will never more see the light.

There are at least two ways to suppress and silence homogays, atheists, evolutionists, abortionists, summertime immodest, and [sexist]-feminist in the public arena...and both can and should be used.

One is to censor their speech, slap them in their faces, and in other ways punish them as with arrests and fines....threatening them with more of the same and worse if they continue to express their irritating and objectionable speech and actions against those who do not want to experience such harassment.

The other is to stick a cookie in each of their hands, and one in their mouths. Tell them to "donate" to their [perverse and anti-social] cause, rather than call it "taxation" and "fines." Put the money in non-named accounts, then covertly disperse it to bona-fide Christians in forms of rebates and discounts and orthodox-Christian collection plates. Make sure the Scriptural-Christian viewpoint is always heard rather than merely the anti-Christian one in public-school classrooms, during debates, town forums, and media interviews. Arrange it so that the wicked pay more for proximity-located goods and services, but authentic [KJV/RSV-Bible-type] Christians pay less for them.
