The full-of-earmarks demoncrat-pushed Bailout Stimulus of early 2009 has been signed by Barack, and we are now saddled with a trillion-dollar national-deficit debt with no cash in our pockets to show for it (along with a promise of "tax breaks" for all sorts of things which does absolutely NO good for those who pay no income taxes anyway) while Wall-Street gamblers are re-stocked to bid up gas prices, and big banks refurbished to loan money to smaller banks who in turn offer to loan money to borrowers who have no jobs to neither pay for those loans nor pay back the banks with interest.

What is even worse is the far-greater-than trillion-dollar debts of each American because of their obnoxious and incessant annually-repetitive summertime immodesty of loose-long-haired improper hairstyle and lack of decent armwear and legwear and sockswear in general-public view, causing even more defilement with worse-indecent-exposure pornography and prostitution, greed of buying into repossessed new cars and destined-to-become-foreclosed houses and too-high-lease-priced realty, rebelling against Scripture reading in public schools and other public places, not going to a Bible-believing church on Sundays, getting drunk with booze and drugs, defacing public property with graffiti vandalism, vulgar language swearing plus sometimes taking God's name in vain, being glued to feminist-sexism-dominated boob-tube programming overrun by chauvenist-twit mopheaded jaw-flappers, getting and being tattooed and pierced, polluting the neighborhood with deafening-bass,boom-boom rap crap, tailgating then honking impatiently as belligerant pompous asses on the highways, speeding over the limit, failing to stop completely for stop signs and sometimes even going through red stoplights, etc.

The arrogant retort one often gets when confronting people with their defective and antisocially-abhorrent nuisance misbehavior is: "I'm doing the best I can; nobody is perfect; I'm only human," along with: "Don't be intolerantly nor harshly negative nor judgmental; you're not perfect either, so don't be hypocritical and abusively cruel yourself!"

And to the defiant backtalk of: "Who are you to tell me what to do?" the answer is twofold:

(1) Who are you to disobey and disregard what I tell you to do?
(2) Does it matter who I am? Do I need to give you an exhaustive listing of your connived "sufficient"-enough credentials to warn you - the hideously blind and non-observant - to read and mind a High Voltage sign for you to avoid getting electrocuted? To admonish you about a cliff hidden by shrubbery which you are right next to and ready to fall over? To be critical of you ready to step on that military land mine you are about to blow yourself up with by stepping upon such? That bee's nest in the ground you and your impulsive and impatient feet obviously are not aware of?

Obviously, non-self-righteous proclaimed threats of the Law are vital for our continuing existence, and our required obedience to hear and heed such for our very continuing non-injured and non-fatal survival. But our willingness to adjust behavior and intent to from now on obey the Law better and more often in NO way rectifies nor heals dire consequences of past mistakes and errors of deliberate or accidental fault.

That requires atonement as a gracious gift from Someone Else qualified and willing to grant us conscience-liberating atonement against what obviously is by any reasonable definition: sin.

So, my fellow Jewish-type readers who presume that you are self-righteously able to play God and compensate for past mistakes by concocting nitpicky human regulations, setting up pathetically-lacking goody-goody New-Years resolutions you never have kept and do not keep and never will keep.....you misbelieve that God is merciful because of your error-prone mixed-bag ancestry and traditions? It takes someone other than that, Your Pseudo-Highnesses.

Jer 30:15 Why do you cry out over your hurt? Your pain is incurable. Because your guilt is great, because your sins are flagrant, I have done these things to you.

Is it hard for you to believe that God requires something other than your good intentions to atone for your past wickedness? But by what means is His atonement bestowed upon you? Mere words? Like for example:

Joh 15:3 You are already made clean by the word which I have spoken to you.

and:

Mt 9:2 And behold, they brought to him a paralytic, lying on his bed; and when Jesus saw their faith he said to the paralytic, "Take heart, my son; your sins are forgiven."
Mt 9:5 For which is easier, to say, 'Your sins are forgiven,' or to say, 'Rise and walk'?
vMr 2:5 And when Jesus saw their faith, he said to the paralytic, "My son, your sins are forgiven."

Words. Words. Is that enough?

Did Jesus Christ have authority to not only declare forgiveness of sins but expect us to believe that His death on some cross completely atones for our shortcomings and mistakes here in America in the year 2009?

Keep in mind that such mere words were spoken by a crazy-sounding "Lord?" who told people to eat His flesh and drink His blood. Yuck! DOUBLE yuck!

This webauthor does not have proof, of course, to deny the historical? written record? (popularized fables?) of His alleged miracles in The HOLY BIBLE. Do you? If so, what? Your doubt alone is insufficient as rock-solid proof. And your mouthy arrogance accompanying your nonsensical mindless blatterings sucks, to boot.

Moreover, the bizarre once-in-a-lifetime unusualness of the supernatural? signs in Scripture is no definitive proof at all against them actually phenomenally happening, either. But must you force me to voice whether they were true or false? Please don't. If push came to shove, you know what I would have to admit to in my partial uncertainty....to be on the safe side.

But isn't it really loony to assert that not only that our sins here in the 21st century were and are atoned for by some said-to-have-lived traveling-rabbi "nutcase?" who is "rumored?" to have existed around 2000 years ago until He was crucified, then "purportedly" resurrected, after which He "allegedly" "ascended" into "heaven?" Takes a hot-air balloon or NASA rocket to actually do something like that, right?

1Co 1:23 .... but we preach Christ crucified, a stumbling block to Jews and folly to Gentiles....

Hey, you hard-to-believe-in-Jesus-as-Messiah Jews, consider the apparently-ridiculous command "God?" is said to have laid on Abraham to kill (execute?, or was it instead murder?) Abe's only son Isaac (pagan Canaanite-style) with a knife and then burn him as some kind of human sacrifice on the top of some mountain, as recorded in the Old Testament? How absurd? Brutal barbarism clearly against the law, and deserving of mental-illness incarceration and confinement as a religious crazy in some Hebrew or Philistine/Palestinian insane asylum?

Fortunately, it is said that "an angel" told Abraham to stop it, put the knife down, saving the Hebrew race from being exterminated by lunatic child-abuse murder then and there.

A repeat situation of sorts occurred when "God the Father" ordered "His Son" [Jesus, Who claimed being the one-and-the-same 'I AM' with the burning-bush LORD Moses encountered] to actually go through with being murdered by bloodshed crucifixion. In that case, the escape from death was by [claimed] resurrection from the dead. So again, the good guys won.

So that is what atones for us now? Now, or only back then? Why only back then? Who was the bigshot blowfart who changed anything (if it was altered at all) anywhere along the timeline way?

But if it wasn't for Bible verses relating Christ's bloody death and resurrection with our personal atonement, we would never connect the dots:

Ro 1:4 [Jesus Christ was] designated Son of God in power according to the Spirit of holiness by His resurrection from the dead, Jesus Christ our Lord
Ro 3:24 they are justified by His grace as a gift, through the redemption which is in Christ Jesus,
Ro 3:25 whom God put forward as an expiation by His blood, to be received by faith. This was to show God's righteousness, because in his divine forbearance he had passed over former sins;
Ro 5:9 Since, therefore, we are now justified by His blood, much more shall we be saved by Him from the wrath of God.
Ro 5:10 For if while we were enemies we were reconciled to God by the death of his Son, much more, now that we are reconciled, shall we be saved by his life.
Col 1:21 And you, who once were estranged and hostile in mind, doing evil deeds,
22 he has now reconciled in his body of flesh by his death, in order to present you holy and blameless and irreproachable before him,
Heb 1:3 [Jesus, the Son of God] reflects the glory of God and bears the very stamp of His nature, upholding the universe by His word of power. When He had made purification for sins, He sat down at the right hand of the Majesty on high,
1Pe 1:3 Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ! By his great mercy we have been born anew to a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead,

I did not make that all up. Neither did my folks. Nor theirs. Nor theirs. Nor a whole lot of their contemporary associates. It goes way back. As Will Rogers is said to have said: "I only know what I read in the paper." I miss Paul Harvey, and a few others.

Is it true that Christ's death on some cross over in the Middle East a long time ago abrogates our need to perfectly obey the Law, which no one does and cannot do perfectly anyway? How can we "sin" if Christ is not only our always-applicable atonement while being our 24/7 substitute for perfection? Thus, can we not live like the Devil and still be completely atoned for and substitution-qualified perfect whatever we do and don't do?

Now that we are atoned for, and Christ Jesus has lived perfectly and become our perfection, there is now no chance of us being accused of being guilty of "sin," and we can live like the Devil because sin is no longer applicable to us living in substitute perfection of Christ and always-applicable atonement?

Ro 6:15 What then? Are we to sin because we are not under law but under grace? By no means!
Heb 10:26 For if we sin deliberately after receiving the knowledge of the truth, there no longer remains a sacrifice for sins,
Heb 10:27 but a fearful prospect of judgment, and a fury of fire which will consume the adversaries.

Oh great. We're not off the hook. I thought that there was a catch somewhere. Strings are assuredy attached. Big-Brother Creator is still watching and continuously ready to pounce - both temporally and eternally.

Oh well. What the heck? Why not do things God's way? No big deal, no water off my back. Just as soon do things His way and get into Eternal Light and Bliss with The Friends, rather than not do things His way and burn in solitary-confinement Total Darkness Fire forever, with no chance at all to ever get out.
