Burn Pets

Ever thought of dousing your pet dog, cat, turtle, rabbit, hamster, or bird in gasoline....and setting IT (not him nor her) afire?

How about roasting and incinerating ants, snails, or worms to death using a magnifying glass in the hot sun?

Pr 12:10 A righteous man has regard for the life of his beast, but the mercy of the wicked is cruel.

How about putting a bullet into the head of an ox?

Ex 21:29 But if the ox has been accustomed to gore in the past, and its owner has been warned but has not kept it in, and it kills a man or a woman, the ox shall be stoned, and its owner also shall be put to death.

Have you ever visited a stockyard where cows and pigs, chickens and lambs are slaughtered to become grocery-shelves dead meat? Ever wonder how those animals are killed in the stockyards? Is such killing considered "animal abuse?"

Le 1:15 And the priest shall bring it to the altar and wring off its head, and burn it on the altar; and its blood shall be drained out on the side of the altar;
Le 3:2 And he shall lay his hand upon the head of his offering and kill it at the door of the tent of meeting; and Aaron's sons the priests shall throw the blood against the altar round about.
Le 3:8 laying his hand upon the head of his offering and killing it before the tent of meeting; and Aaron's sons shall throw its blood against the altar round about.
Le 3:13 and lay his hand upon its head, and kill it before the tent of meeting; and the sons of Aaron shall throw its blood against the altar round about.
Le 4:4 He shall bring the bull to the door of the tent of meeting before the LORD, and lay his hand on the head of the bull, and kill the bull before the LORD.
Le 4:15 and the elders of the congregation shall lay their hands upon the head of the bull before the LORD, and the bull shall be killed before the LORD.
Le 4:24 and shall lay his hand upon the head of the goat, and kill it in the place where they kill the burnt offering before the LORD; it is a sin offering.
Le 4:29 And he shall lay his hand on the head of the sin offering, and kill the sin offering in the place of burnt offering.
Le 4:33 and lay his hand upon the head of the sin offering, and kill it for a sin offering in the place where they kill the burnt offering.
Le 8:20 And when the ram was cut into pieces, Moses burned the head and the pieces and the fat.

None of the above could accurately be described as "red" meat, because God expressly forbid everyone against eating raw or rare (i.e. bloody) meat not cooked:

Le 7:26 Moreover you shall eat no blood whatever, whether of fowl or of animal, in any of your dwellings.
Le 17:10 "If any man of the house of Israel or of the strangers that sojourn among them eats any blood, I will set my face against that person who eats blood, and will cut him off from among his people.

Forget the blood sausage, Dracula.

We've heard it before: "Love Your Mother" (meaning: Earth). "Save The Whales, but Abort The Humans." Fines are imposed for running over a Canadian goose, so flocks of them inconveniently and even dangerously block traffic. Penalties are extraordinary for wilfully endangering so-called and questionably-termed "endangered species."

Where do humans fit in?

Ge 1:26 Then God said, "Let us make man in our image, after our likeness; and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the birds of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creeps upon the earth."
Ge 1:28 And God blessed them, and God said to them, "Be fruitful and multiply, and fill the earth and subdue it; and have dominion over the fish of the sea and over the birds of the air and over every living thing that moves upon the earth."

Ge 7:23 He blotted out every living thing that was upon the face of the ground, man and animals and creeping things and birds of the air; they were blotted out from the earth. Only Noah was left, and those that were with him in the ark.

Mt 10:31 Fear not, therefore; you are of more value than many sparrows.

Lu 12:7 Why, even the hairs of your head are all numbered. Fear not; you are of more value than many sparrows.

Ro 1:23 ....and exchanged the glory of the immortal God for images resembling mortal man or birds or animals or reptiles

I have seen some eager dogs on leash pulling their owners along during a brisk walk, and wondered who and what was in charge! Who was the boss, and what was walking who?

Notice the different terms: who and what are used for persons compared to animals? The humans might be a Ms. or Mrs. or Mr. - but the animal on leash is never identified that way. Nor addressed as a Reverend or Doctor or Professor. Fornication and adultery, swearing and lying are not assigned to animals.

Lamentably, both humans and animals are sometimes are called: whachamicallits by the nonscientifically or impatiently dull of mind, however. Also, archaic Elizabethan, Chaucerian, and/or King James pronouns make no distinction between people and animals and lifeless objects - misnaming everything as a which or a that.

DO lower-than-humankind lifeforms have eternal souls, the ability to discern good from evil, the ability to speak and write legibly and logically, the capacity to exhibit agape self-giving love (not to be confused with stimulus-and-response-for-food pseudo-loyalty and pseudo-affection)?

I have yet to hear a dog or cat or bird owner responding back to the barking of his or her dog or meowing of his or her cat or varied chirping of his or her bird with equally-efficient barking or meowing or chirping, except attempting such as a joke in a sitcom, comedy club, or whatever.

While humans are superior to animals, have humans discovered all the instinctual capabilities of animals?

Job 41:5 Will you play with him as with a bird, or will you put him on leash for your maidens?

Will there be animals in heaven?

Eze 1:5 And from the midst of it came the likeness of four living creatures. And this was their appearance: they had the form of men,
6 but each had four faces, and each of them had four wings.
7 Their legs were straight, and the soles of their feet were like the sole of a calf's foot; and they sparkled like burnished bronze.
8 Under their wings on their four sides they had human hands. And the four had their faces and their wings thus:
9 their wings touched one another; they went every one straight forward, without turning as they went.
10 As for the likeness of their faces, each had the face of a man in front; the four had the face of a lion on the right side, the four had the face of an ox on the left side, and the four had the face of an eagle at the back.
11 Such were their faces. And their wings were spread out above; each creature had two wings, each of which touched the wing of another, while two covered their bodies.

Re 4:6 and before the throne there is as it were a sea of glass, like crystal. And round the throne, on each side of the throne, are four living creatures, full of eyes in front and behind:
Re 4:8 And the four living creatures, each of them with six wings, are full of eyes all round and within, and day and night they never cease to sing, "Holy, holy, holy, is the Lord God Almighty, who was and is and is to come!"
Re 5:6 And between the throne and the four living creatures and among the elders, I saw a Lamb standing, as though it had been slain, with seven horns and with seven eyes, which are the seven spirits of God sent out into all the earth;
Re 5:8 And when he had taken the scroll, the four living creatures and the twenty-four elders fell down before the Lamb, each holding a harp, and with golden bowls full of incense, which are the prayers of the saints;
Re 5:14 And the four living creatures said, "Amen!" and the elders fell down and worshiped.
Re 6:1 Now I saw when the Lamb opened one of the seven seals, and I heard one of the four living creatures say, as with a voice of thunder, "Come!"
Re 7:11 And all the angels stood round the throne and round the elders and the four living creatures, and they fell on their faces before the throne and worshiped God,
Re 14:3 and they sing a new song before the throne and before the four living creatures and before the elders. No one could learn that song except the hundred and forty-four thousand who had been redeemed from the earth.
Re 15:7 And one of the four living creatures gave the seven angels seven golden bowls full of the wrath of God who lives for ever and ever;
Re 19:4 And the twenty-four elders and the four living creatures fell down and worshiped God who is seated on the throne, saying, "Amen. Hallelujah!"

Other animals in heaven?

Re 19:14 And the armies of heaven, arrayed in fine linen, white and pure, followed him on white horses.

No mention of dogs:

Re 22:15 Outside are the dogs and sorcerers and fornicators and murderers and idolaters, and every one who loves and practices falsehood.

Ec 3:21 Who knows whether the spirit of man goes upward and the spirit of the beast goes down to the earth?

Will that pseudo-"living" robotic? thing called "the image of the beast" spoken of in Revelation chapters 13 and beyond have an eternal destiny in heaven or hell?

Re 19:20 And the beast was captured, and with it the false prophet who in its presence had worked the signs by which he deceived those who had received the mark of the beast and those who worshiped its image. These two were thrown alive into the lake of fire that burns with sulphur.

There are such phenomenon as pet cemeteries, and pets are buried. Though the veteranarian is not accused of "murder" for "putting a pet to sleep," the pet owner must consent to the killing for the vet to avoid arrest or a lawsuit.

There are humans who object to humans being cremated, on the grounds (they assert) that the Bible implies dignified repose for the godly, rather than being burned as sinners are humiliatingly burned.

There is, of course, the immutable predictive prophecy that the Lord, able and willing to re-assemble and restructure all body parts of all deceased, will resurrect everyone no matter what their former bodily condition into never-ending bodies either consigned to ever-renewed eternal destruction and everlasting torture in the Outer-Darkness Lake of Fire, or instead with God of brilliant light and the joyous heavenly assembly in heavenly eternal bliss.

Mt 25:41 Then He will say to those at his left hand, 'Depart from me, you cursed, into the eternal fire prepared for the devil and his angels;

Mt 25:46 And they will go away into eternal punishment, but the righteous into eternal life."

2Th 1:9 They shall suffer the punishment of eternal destruction and exclusion from the presence of the Lord and from the glory of his might,

Re 14:11 And the smoke of their torment goes up to the ages of the ages; and they have no rest, day or night, these worshipers of the beast and its image, and whoever receives the mark of its name."

Re 20:10 ....and the devil who had deceived them was thrown into the lake of fire and sulphur where the beast and the false prophet were, and they will be tormented day and night for ever and ever.

Re 20:12 And I saw the dead, great and small, standing before the throne, and books were opened. Also another book was opened, which is the book of life. And the dead were judged by what was written in the books, by what they had done.

Re 20:15 ....and if any one's name was not found written in the book of life, he was thrown into the lake of fire.

Mt 13:43 Then the righteous will shine like the sun in the kingdom of their Father. He who has ears, let him hear.
