Only some of how the Biblical patriarchs got to know about and then acquainted with their future wives and concubines is recorded in Holy Writ, but other times not. How Joseph discovered the virgin Mary is not known, nor how Saint Peter got his wife.
Sometimes, women came to Jesus, or Jesus went to them, with no significant nor immoral sexual involvement happening [e.g. the Samaritan woman of five previous husbands at Jacob's well asking Jesus for His "living water," the woman of infirmity who touched the hem of His robe, the "sinner" woman who anointed the feet of Jesus and wiped them with her hair near the floor, the "under-aged" dead-girl "minor" whose hand Jesus held to lift her up, the woman caught in the act of adultery who was left alone with Jesus, Mary Magdalene who had had seven devils inside her, the catholic woman in the crowd who blessed the womb who birthed Jesus and the breasts He sucked, the nagging Canaanite woman with the demon-possessed daughter, Jesus-chiders Mary and Martha related to brother Lazarus, etc.]
In some cases, spouses were chosen for them by matchmakers without them having to search for such themselves [Rebekkah for Isaac, Ruth for Boaz, the two wives of Joash, for example].
In other cases, the Lord brought the women to them without them having to search for such themselves [Tamar to Judah, Ruth to Boaz, Esther to Ahazuerus, and Abigail to David, for example].
God brought Eve to Adam after He had made her out of Adam's rib.
Sometimes the men went to where, or were where, the women simply happened to be at the time [Abraham with Hagar, Jacob with Rachel, Jacob with the maids of Leah and Rachel, Moses with Zipporah, Benjaminites with the danceresses they carried off, Samson with Delilah, David with Bathsheba, Isaiah with the prophetess, Hosea with slutess Gomer and then Woman #2, for example].
U.S. Postal Service mail was not used in those cases, nor advertised interaction via the internet. It was coincidentally-providential body-location face-to-face meeting under various circumstances and conditions, and the women were acceptable to view and not turn away from.
In many cases, men were the aggressors who initiated the advance, and were the first to solicit - reflective of their protruding poles instead of the receptive holes of the solicited.
Credentials for mate-search, acquisition, and retention were pre-established by God's leading and familial associations without Driver's License identification and resume-or-questionnaire background checks.
Speaking of Scripturally-justified polygamy of the type actually done by Abraham (who had Sarah, Hagar, and concubines), of Jacob (who had two wives and two concubines, producing progeny becoming The Twelve Tribes of Israel even mentioned in the New-Testament book of Revelation), of Gideon (having a harem), of Elkanah (who fathered Samuel), of David (who had several wives and numerous concubines), of Solomon (who authored the Song of Solomon), and so forth, it is interesting to realize that they were concordant with implementation of the following in the Torah:
Deuteronomy 21:15 If a man has two wives, the one loved and the other disliked, and they have borne him children, both the loved and the disliked, and if the first-born son is hers that is disliked,
21:16 then on the day when he assigns his possessions as an inheritance to his sons, he may not treat the son of the loved as the first-born in preference to the son of the disliked, who is the first-born,
21:17 but he shall acknowledge the first-born, the son of the disliked, by giving him a double portion of all that he has, for he is the first issue of his strength; the right of the first-born is his.
The Holy Spirit had Solomon put this into the canon of Old-Testament Holy Scripture:
Ecclesiastes 2:8 [RSV] I also gathered for myself silver and gold and the treasure of kings and provinces; I got singers, both men and women, and many concubines, man's delight.
Not exactly: "marriage is the union of one man and one woman," but instead: "marriage is the union of one man and woman" in the case of Scripturally-never-condemned harem polygamy which the Lord never EVER specifically prohibited, though He did condemn mismating with disbelievers:
Second Corinthians 6:14 Do not be mismated with unbelievers. For what partnership have righteousness and wickedness? Or what fellowship has light with darkness?
6:15 What accord has Christ with Belial? Or what has a believer in common with a disbeliever?
6:16 What agreement has the temple of God with idols? For we are the temple of the living God; as God said: "I will live in them and move among them, and I will be their God, and they shall be my people.
6:17 Therefore come out from them, and be separate from them," says the Lord, "and touch nothing unclean; then I will welcome you,
6:18 and I will be a Father to you, and you shall be my sons and daughters, says the Lord Almighty."
Polygamy with disbelievers is forbidden, as is excessive acquisition of over-abundant horses and silver and gold, according to:
Deuteronomy 17:14 When you come to the land which the LORD your God gives you, and you possess it and reside in it, and then say: "I will set a king over me, like all the nations that are round about me;"
17:15 you may indeed set as king over you him whom the LORD your God will choose. One from among your brethren you shall set as king over you; you may not put a foreigner [like Kenyan-not-Hawaiian-born Barack Hussein Obama] over you, who is not your brother.
17:16 Only he must not multiply horses for himself, or cause the people to return to Egypt in order to multiply horses, being that the LORD has said to you: 'You shall never return that way again.'
17:17 And he shall not multiply wives for himself, so that his heart does not turn away; nor shall he greatly multiply for himself silver and gold.
Neither "milf" adultery nor masseuse/escort prostitution was allowed in the canon of Old-Testament-Law Scripture:
Genesis 20:1 From there Abraham journeyed toward the territory of the Negeb, and lived between Kadesh and Shur; and he traveled in Gerar.
20:2 And Abraham said of Sarah his wife: "She is my sister." And Abimelech king of Gerar sent and took Sarah.
20:3 But God came to Abimelech in a dream by night, and said to him: "Hey, you are a dead man, because of the woman whom you have taken; for she is a man's wife."
20:4 Now Abimelech had not approached her; so he said: "Lord, will you slay an innocent people?
20:5 Did he not himself say to me: 'She is my sister'? And she herself said: 'He is my brother.' In the integrity of my heart and the innocence of my hands I have done this."
20:6 Then God said to him in the dream: "Yes, I know that you have done this in the integrity of your heart, and it was I who kept you from sinning against me; therefore I did not let you touch her.
20:7 Now then restore the man's wife; for he is a prophet, and he will pray for you, and you shall live. But if you do not restore her, know that you shall surely die, you, and all that are yours."
20:8 So Abimelech rose early in the morning, and called all his servants, and told them all these things; and the men were very much afraid.
20:9 Then Abimelech called Abraham, and said to him: "What have you done to us? And how have I sinned against you, that you have brought on me and my kingdom a great sin? You have done to me things that ought not to be done."
20:10 And Abimelech said to Abraham: "What were you thinking of, that you did this thing?"
20:11 Abraham said: "I did it because I thought that there is no fear of God at all in this place, and they will kill me because of my wife.
20:12 Besides she is indeed my sister, the daughter of my father but not the daughter of my mother; and she became my wife.
20:13 And when God caused me to wander from my father's house, I said to her: "This is the kindness you must do me: at every place to which we come, say of me: 'He is my brother.' "
20:14 Then Abimelech took sheep and oxen, and male and female slaves, and gave them to Abraham, and restored Sarah his wife to him.
20:15 And Abimelech said: "Hey, my land is before you; reside where it pleases you."
20:16 To Sarah he said: "Hey, I have given your brother a thousand pieces of silver; it is your vindication in the eyes of all who are with you; and to every one you are vindicated."
20:17 Then Abraham prayed to God; and God healed Abimelech, and also healed his wife and female slaves so that they bore children.
20:18 For the LORD had closed all the wombs of the house of Abimelech because of Sarah, Abraham's wife.
Genesis 26:6 So Isaac lived in Gerar.
26:7 When the men of the place asked him about his wife, he said: "She is my sister"; for he feared to say: "My wife," presuming: "lest the men of the place should kill me for the sake of Rebekah"; because she was fair to look upon. [all attractive parts in the right place and proportion]
26:8 When he had been there a long time, Abimelech king of the Philistines looked out of a window and saw Isaac fondling Rebekah his wife. [and in what way(s) was Isaac "fondling" her?]
26:9 So Abimelech called Isaac, and said: "Hey, she is your wife; how then could you say: 'She is my sister'?" Isaac said to him: "Because I thought, 'Lest I die because of her.'"
26:10 Abimelech said: "What is this you have done to us? One of the people might easily have lain with your wife, and you would have brought guilt upon us."
26:11 So Abimelech warned all the people, saying: "Whoever touches this man or his wife shall be put to death."
Exodus 20:14 You shall not commit adultery [nor "perform" lewd hanky-panky]
Matthew 5:27 You have heard that it was said: 'You shall not commit adultery.' [But now that you're saved by grace through faith you're no longer under the Law, so go ahead and sexually screw around. What the hell.] [???]
Matthew 19:16 And hey, one came up to Him, saying: "Teacher, what good deed must I do, to have eternal life?"
Matthew 19:17 And He said to him, "Why do you ask me about what is good? [Or: "Why did you call me only "teacher" and not "Lord?"] One there is who is good. [Guess who He is, so why did you merely call me "Lord?"] If you would enter life, keep the commandments." [unless you do NOT want to not-simply-keep-but-also-actually-not-do the commandments but instead want a license to sin and live like the Devil by simply-and-not-just mouthing presumption for cheap grace, blattering repeatedly that sad overly-emphasized bypass-or-ignore-the-Law mantra: 'We're saved by grace through Christ's-and-not-our-perfect self-atoning faith apart from works of Law, and that is not our own doing but is a gift from God which is freely imputed to us who never want to obey any part of the Law because we no longer have to obey it since we live in the Spirit of what-the-hell? lest any man or woman should boast']
Matthew 19:18 He said to Him: "Which?" And Jesus replied: "You shall not murder, You shall not commit instead of "perform" adultery, You shall not steal, You shall not bear false witness [i.e. dishonestly lie, not tell the truth, etc.]
Romans 13:9 The commandments: "You shall not commit adultery, You shall not murder, You shall not steal, You shall not covet," and any other commandment, are summed up in this sentence: "You shall love your neighbor as yourself."
Proverbs 6:32 He who commits adultery has no sense; he who does it destroys himself.
Those who excuse their immodesty of hairstyle and/or naked-armed sleeveslessness and/or nude-legged slackslessness or soxlessness with "seasonal" or "athletic" shorts or beach-wear/shopping-center/wherever-else-in-public-view soxlessness in sandals with the doctrine-of-demon irrationalization of: "we're not under Law, we're living in the Spirit, we're saved by grace through faith not by ourselves nor by works of the law" should be relentlessly and perhaps severely admonished to realize that Jesus did NOT abrogate nor contradict nor disregard the following very-strange "violated-their-first-pledge" snippet from the Law in the following discourse, but instead gave additional information:
Matthew 22:23 The same day [sexually-deviant, and you'll discover why] Sadducees came to Him, who say that there is no resurrection; and they asked Him a question,
22:24 saying: "Teacher, Moses said: "If a man dies, having no children, his brother must marry the widow, and raise up children for his brother."
22:25 Now there were seven brothers among us; the first married, and died, and having no children left his wife to his brother.
22:26 So too the second and third, down to the seventh.
22:27 After them all, the woman died. [A most-unusual and doubtful situation. Remarkable woman, who I suppose had absolutely no say in any of that perhaps-non-wanted or inconvenient successive-husbands burden. It's about time she also died, after all that]
22:28 In the resurrection, therefore, to which of the seven will she be wife? For they all had her." ["Had" her do WHAT?]
22:29 But Jesus answered them: "You are wrong, because you know neither the scriptures nor the power of God.
22:30 For in the resurrection they neither marry nor are given in marriage [but that does not mean that already-have-been-married are no longer married nor cannot be romantic with each other, because death is not automatic divorce, and what God has joined together, let no one tear apart per Matthew 19:6 and Mark 10:9], but are like angels in heaven [and before Him no creature is hidden, but all are naked in His eyes per Hebrews 4:13, and saints like Him in Heaven are perhaps going to have sanctified X-ray vision].
22:34 But when the Pharisees heard that he had silenced the Sadducees, they came together.
22:35 And one of them, a lawyer, asked Him a question, to test Him.
22:36 "Teacher, which is the great commandment in the law?"
22:37 And He said to him: "You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your mind.
22:38 This is the great and first commandment.
22:39 And a second is like it: You shall love your neighbor as yourself.
22:40 On these two commandments depend all the law and the prophets."
Matthew 22:1 And again Jesus spoke to them in parables, saying:
22:2 "The kingdom of heaven may be compared to a king who gave a marriage feast for his son,
22:3 and sent his servants to call those who were invited to the marriage feast; but they would not come.
22:4 Again he sent other servants, saying: "Tell those who are invited: Hey, I have made ready my dinner, my oxen and my fat calves are killed, and everything is ready; come to the marriage feast."
22:5 But they made light of it and went off, one to his farm, another to his business,
22:6 while the rest seized his servants, treated them shamefully, and murdered them.
22:7 The king was angry, and he sent his troops and destroyed those murderers and burned their city.
22:8 Then he said to his servants: "The wedding is ready, but those invited were not worthy.
22:9 Go therefore to the thoroughfares, and invite to the marriage feast as many as you find."
22:10 And those servants went out into the streets and gathered all whom they found, both evil and good; so the wedding hall was filled with guests.
22:11 But when the king came in to look at the guests, he saw there a mopheaded woman baring her arms with sleeveslessness and her nude legs with shorts and wearing sandals without socks;
22:12 and he said to her: 'Friend, how did you get in here not being formally clothed [whether in silk, polyester, or cotton] in His righteousness alone?' And she was speechless.
22:13 Then the king said to the attendants: "Handcuff her and put on ankle-chain shackles, then heave her into The Outer Darkness; there both-gender humans will weep and gnash their teeth."
22:14 For many are called, but few are chosen."
If one presumes that the Old-Testament/Old-Covenant Law was tough, the Law of Jesus [who said: "Why do you call me 'Lord, Lord,' and not do what I tell you?" in Luke 6:46 and said: "If you love me you will keep my commandments" in John 14:15]
is even tougher and more stringent:
Matthew 5:27 "You have heard that it was said, 'You shall not commit adultery.'
5:28 But I say to you that every one who looks at a woman lustfully has already committed adultery with her in his heart.
5:29 If your right eye causes you to sin, pluck it out and throw it away; it is better that you lose one of your members than that your whole body be thrown into Hell.
5:30 And if your right hand causes you to sin, cut it off and throw it away; it is better that you lose one of your members than that your whole body go into Hell.
5:31 "It was also said: 'Whoever divorces his wife, let him give her a certificate of divorce.'
5:32 But I say to you that every one who divorces his wife, except on the ground of unchastity, makes her an adulteress; and whoever marries a divorced woman commits adultery.
It might be preferable to simply not visit known porn websites nor type suggestive keywords into Google or Dogpile or Ask or Bing searchboxes on the internet nor click into porn cable-TV programming....rather than painfully (and perhaps illegally) plucking out one's eye or eyes resulting in permanent blindness, or quite-inconveniently handicapping oneself by cutting off one or more of one's hands (perhaps resulting in at least psychiatric confinement for mental illness after hospitalization or, at worst, a bloody suicidal death).
First John 2:3 And by this we may be sure that we know Him, if we keep His commandments.
First John 3:22 and we receive from Him whatever we ask, because we keep His commandments and do what pleases Him [rather than not keeping His commandments around and not pleasing Him] .
First John 5:3 For this is the love of God, that we "keep" [not simply retain dusty Bibles on the bookshelf which are never read] His commandments [not mere suggestions nor advice nor opinions nor merely mouth the cheap-grace mantra that: "we're justified by faith alone apart from doing good works of the Law and instead doing evil works of the Devil as God's gift and righteousness imputed to us, lest anyone should boast."] And His commandments are not burdensome. [or ARE they, and thus the 'cheap-grace-gospel' thing?]
So, "the Law" of completely and thoroughly loving God (and also neighbor) is YET in effect for even Christians claiming they're "saved by grace through faith apart from works of Law."
And that "loving God and neighbor" Law involves many aspects:
Romans 14:15 If your brother is being injured by what your "freedom in Christ" to silently shove the sight of or flagrantly flaunt immodest loose-long-hair or sleevesless naked arms or slacksless nude legs or soxless feet in sandals in his face or even distant vicinity, you are no longer walking in love. Do not let how you are misdressed cause the ruin of one for whom Christ died.
Why drive men into retaliatory-against-feminist-sexism-and-female-misdress homosexuality?
First Corinthians 6:7 To have lawsuits at all with one another is defeat for you. Why not rather suffer wrong? Why not rather be defrauded?
6:8 But you yourselves wrong and defraud, and that even your own brethren.
6:9 Do you not know that the non-righteous will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived; neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor homogay effeminate, nor [same-gender] sodomites,
6:10 nor thieves, nor greedy, nor drunkards, nor ["jewish"-Bill-Maher/Mike-Malloy-type] revilers, nor robbers will inherit the kingdom of God.
6:11 And such were some of you. But you were washed, you were sanctified, you were justified in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ and in the Spirit of our God.
6:12 All things are lawful for me [except what the police would rightly arrest me for], but not all things are helpful. All things are lawful [being that I, living under grace through faith not works of the civil legal statutes of America or Israel or Rome determine what "law" is in my own personal opinion, and who is going to stop me for suddenly and terroristically committing some crime?] for me, but I will not be enslaved by anything [especially to nicotine products, to liquor, or to narcotic drugs].
Indeed, one is not simply "justified by faith not works" but also:
James 2:24 You see that a human female is justified by [decently-hairstyled/full-sleeved/long-slacked/socks-wearing] works and not by non-reliable/not-completely-trusting-God "faith" [to arrogantly or defiantly "live like the Devil"] alone.
James 2:19 You believe that God is one; you do well. Even the demons "believe" -- and shudder.
Galatians 5:26 Let us have no self-conceit, no provoking of one another with non-asked-for enticement-to-self-sodomy-or-prostitution-by-public-mopheadedness-or-other-immodesty, no envy of one another.
It is preferable, in thinking about searching for, soliciting, and acquiring a consensual quasi-common-law concubine [an additional spouse], to not instead think getting a replacement spouse by divorce or annulment or permanent separation:
Malachi 2:15 Has not the one God made and sustained for us the spirit of life? And what does he desire? Godly offspring. So take heed to yourselves, and let none be faithless to the wife of his youth.
Malachi 2:16 "For I hate divorce," says the LORD the God of Israel, "and covering one's garment with violence," says the LORD of hosts. So you yourselves beware and do not be faithless.
Matthew 19:3 And Pharisees came up to him and tested Him by asking: "Is it lawful to divorce one's wife for any cause?" [Are we disallowed from eating any fruit from any tree in The Garden of Eden, and did "Minnesotans" vote for Al Franken, or only SOME of them?]
19:7 They said to Him: "Why then did Moses command one to give a certificate of divorce, and to put her away?" ["Put her away?" Sounds mafia-like]
19:8 [Jesus] said to them: "For your hardness of heart Moses allowed you to divorce your wives, but from the beginning it was not so.
19:9 And I say to you: whoever divorces his wife, except for unchastity, and marries another, commits adultery."
First Corinthians 7:10 To the married I give charge, not I but the Lord, that the wife must-not-and-not-simply-should-not separate from her husband
First Corinthians 7:11 but if she does, let her remain single or else be reconciled to her husband....and that the husband must-not-and-not-simply-should-not divorce his wife.
In America, the general expectation is that marriage consists of the heterosexual union of "one man and ONE woman" - which obviously is not congruent with the following allowance for those who are neither bishops nor deacons:
First Timothy 3:2 Now a bishop [NOT every Christian man] must be above reproach, the husband of one wife, temperate, sensible, dignified, hospitable, an apt teacher...
First Timothy 3:12 Let deacons [NOT all men] be the husband of one wife, and let them manage their children and their households well...
The man who takes it upon himself to search for, solicit, acquire, and possessively maintain more than one spouse (such as a legally-State-registered one plus a non-State-registered quasi-common-law concubine) must love and care for both of them in terms of affection plus financial-and-other provision:
First Timothy 5:8 If any one does not provide for his relatives, and especially for his own family, he has disowned the faith and is worse than a disbeliever.
But fornication [of temporarily or permanently cohabitating without being married to each other, or in some at least non-Government-way publicly indicating being married in at least a concubinal relationship] is clearly disallowed by Scripture:
Deuteronomy 22:20 But if the thing is true, that the tokens of virginity were not found in the young woman,
Deuteronomy 22:21 then they shall bring out the young woman to the door of her father's house, and the men of her city shall stone her to death with stones [or cut her down with a Tommy Gun chopper], because she has done foolishness in Israel by "playing the harlot" [not a mere theater act] in her father's house; so you shall purge evil from among you. [and not simply pass the buck and "let God do it naturally and eventually"]
Deuteronomy 23:17 There shall be no cult-or-temple prostitute of the daughters of Israel, neither shall there be a cult/temple prostitute of the sons of Israel.
Ezekiel 16:24 you built yourself a vaulted chamber, and made yourself a lofty place in every square;
16:25 at the head of every street you built your lofty place and prostituted your beauty, spread apart your legs [i.e. "parted your feet"] to any passer-by, and multiplying your harlotry.
16:26 You also played the harlot with the Egyptians, your lustful neighbors, multiplying your harlotry, to provoke me to anger.
16:27 Hey, therefore, I stretched out my hand against you, and diminished your allotted portion, and delivered you to the greed of your enemies, the daughters of the Philistines, who were ashamed of your lewd behavior.
16:29 You multiplied your harlotry also with the trading land of Chaldea; and even with this you were not satisfied.
16:30 "How lovesick is your heart," says the Lord GOD, "being that you did all these things, the deeds of a brazen harlot;
16:31 building your vaulted chamber at the head of every street [advertising in the Yellow Pages, tabloids, and on the Web], and making your lofty place in every square. Yet you were not like a harlot, because you scorned hire. [freebies for every guy]
16:32 Adulterous wife, who receives strangers instead of her husband!
16:33 Men give gifts to all harlots; but you gave your gifts to all your lovers, bribing them to come to you from every side for your harlotries.
16:34 So you were different from other women in your harlotries: none solicited you to play the harlot; and you gave hire, while no hire was given to you; therefore you were different." [popular, but broke]
16:35 Wherefore, harlot, hear the word of the LORD:
16:36 Thus says the Lord GOD: "Because your shame was laid bare and your nakedness uncovered in your harlotries with your lovers, and because of all your idols, and because of the [aborted] blood of your children that you gave to them,
16:37 therefore, hey, I will gather all your lovers, with whom you took pleasure, all those you loved and all those you loathed; I will gather them against you from every side, and will uncover your nakedness to them, that they may see all your nakedness [ISIS rapes the captives].
16:38 And I will judge you as women who break wedlock and shed blood are judged, and bring upon you the blood of wrath and jealousy.
16:39 And I will give you into the hand of your lovers, and they shall throw down your vaulted chamber and break down your lofty places; they shall strip you of your clothes and take your fair jewels, and leave you naked and bare.
16:40 They shall bring up a [ISIS?] host against you, and they shall stone you and cut you to pieces with their swords."
Ezekiel 23:1 The word of the LORD came to me:
23:2 "Son of man, there were two women, the daughters of one mother;
23:3 they played the harlot in Egypt; they played the harlot in their youth; there their breasts were pressed and their virgin nipples squeezed.
23:10 These uncovered her nakedness; they seized her sons and her daughters; and her they slew with the sword; and she became a byword among women, when judgment had been executed upon her.
23:17 And the Babylonians came to her into the bed of lust, and they defiled her with their passion; and after she was polluted by them, she turned from them in disgust.
23:18 When she carried on her harlotry so openly and flaunted her nakedness, I turned in disgust from her, as I had turned from her sister.
23:19 Yet she increased her harlotry, remembering the days of her youth, when she played the harlot in the land of Egypt
23:20 and doted upon her paramours there, whose members were like those of asses, and whose issue was like that of horses.
23:21 Thus you longed for the lewdness of your youth, when the Egyptians pressed your young breasts and squeezed your virgin nipples."
23:22 Therefore, Oholibah, thus says the Lord GOD: "Hey, I will rouse against you your lovers from whom you turned in disgust, and I will bring them against you from every side:
23:24 And they shall come against you from the north [ISIS of Syria and Iran?] with Toyota-and-Humvee chariots and wagons and a host of peoples; they shall set themselves against you on every side with buckler, shield, and helmet, and I will commit the judgment to them, and they shall judge you according to their judgments.
23:25 And I will direct my indignation against you, that they may deal with you in fury. They shall cut off your nose and your ears, and your survivors shall fall by the sword. They shall seize your sons and your daughters, and your [refugees] shall be devoured by fire."
Most internet dating services picture immodestly-misattired photos of mopheaded/sleevesless/etc. women on their homepages, causing the potential applicant to wonder if they are trustworthy.
Suffice it to say, and not show, that there are many porn-pix-and-vids websites soliciting fornicative massage connections of one or more women "servicing" many men not presently belonging to them in marriage nor intending to belong to them in marriage.
None of them are compatible with:
Genesis 1:28 And God blessed them, and God said to them: "Heterosexually copulate with non-condomized coitus, and populate vast spaces on Earth and subdue it; and have political-correct-environmental dominion over the fish of the sea and over the birds of the air and over every pseudo-endangered-species living thing that moves upon Earth
Genesis 2:25 And the man and his wife were both naked, and were not ashamed [seriously - not pretended, as in a demons-controlled nudist park or colony or massage parlor or motel/hotel room with a masseuse or escort whores....treacherously advertising themselves at high price and cost for mere "companionship time" instead of forthrightly-stated "sexual services" but perhaps given or withheld at their own capricious whims].
Genesis 9:1 And God blessed Noah and his sons, and said to them: "Be fruitful and multiply, and fill THE Earth.
Genesis 9:7 And you, be fruitful and multiply, bring forth abundantly on Earth and multiply in it."
And NOT merely and repeatedly utter the "f-word" as a mindless and meaningless expletive, resulting in a lot of talk, but relatively no do.
We are not talking any Genesis Bomb as in a Star Trek movie terra-forming or transfiguring some barren planet.
First Corinthians 6:15 Do you not know that your bodies are members of Christ? Shall I therefore take the members of Christ and make them members of a prostitute? Never!
6:16 Do you not know that he who joins himself to a prostitute becomes one body with her? For, as it is written: "The two shall become one flesh."
6:17 But he who is united to the Lord becomes one spirit with Him.
6:18 Shun sexual immorality. Every other sin which a person commits is outside the body; but the immoral person sins against their own body.
6:19 Do you not know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit within you, which you have from God? You are not your own;
6:20 you were bought with a price. So glorify God in your body and your spirit, which are God's.
Lamentably, it is not recommended (and general not really possible) for already-married Christian men (some of who are fathers with children) to search for a potential quasi-common-law concubine even at a "christian" youth or event gathering, Bible study, or inside a church sanctuary, because of several factors:
The first, and most important, is the polluting-by-imposing-mopheaded-indecent hairstyle and/or naked-armed and/or partially-nude-legged or soxless-in-sandals collateral damage done by what the Song of Solomon 2:15 would call "foxes, the little foxes, that spoil the vineyards, for our vineyards are in blossom."
Several Scripture verses tie in quite aptly:
Proverbs 13:20 [She] He who walks [or sits or stands] with wise [modestly-attired women and girls] becomes wise, but the [close-proximity as in the same auditorium or classroom] companion of [mopheaded/sleevesless/slacksless/soxless] fools will suffer harm. [of also not even being noticed by a potential husband who has cautiously turned away and avoided the one so close by you and therefore you also along with her]
Habakkuk 1:4 So the [ignored-or-disdained-by-claiming-grace-through-faith-alone] Law [of women always, in general public view, wearing long hair tied into a single back-of-head ponytail and/or wearing long sleeves and/or full-length non-tight slacks or long non-slitted skirt and/or socks with shoes] is slacked and righteousness never goes forth. For [semi-indecently-attired mopheaded/sleevesless/slacksless/soxless] wicked surround the righteous, so justice [of being able to look around for a decent spouse] goes forth perverted.
First Corinthians 3:1 [obviously, a paraphrase, but you get the point, I'm sure] But I, sisters, could not associate with nor even look in your direction, let alone directly into your eyes, to you as potential-spouse-candidate spiritual women, but instead as worldly-type gals of the immodestly-indecent-appearing sinful flesh, as despicably-disgusting immature-and-non-acceptable babes in Christ.
When a gal plans to have her picture taken by some photographer for a Drivers License, and she is not yet acceptably donned with a hijab or burka headshawl or not head-dressed as an old-order Catholic nun or equivalent (of course not completely covering her face for identification purposes), it really does behoove her to FIRST have her long hair (if she has such) tied back into a single back-of-head ponytail or tied into an up-do....because that is the photo-I.D. she will use for date-and-mate-selection admission-and-evaluation-and-selection purposes [and to enable the security clearance process involving checks presented as payment to commercial cashiers in the future].
The same modesty of hairstyle is mandatory for her photo appearing in a high-school or collegiate yearbook, which can also be used for date-and-mate-selection admission-and-evaluation-and-selection intentions.
Titus 1:16 [Immodest publicly-mopheaded/sleevesless/shortened-skirted/soxless gals] profess to know God, but they deny him by their [loose-long-haired/naked-armed/partially-nude-legged/soxless-in-sandals] works; they are detestable, disobedient, non-fit for any good deed. [including singing in a church or other choir, or as at-pulpit soloist]
Currently in America, the possibilities for beginning and maintaining Biblically-based romantic heterosexual relationships with one or more women in marriage are bleak.
The demon of chauvinistic feminist sexism thoroughly possesses many human females, leading them to postpone marriage and misregard marital solicitation as "sexual harassment" contrary to:
Ecclesiastes 7:26 And I found more bitter than death the woman whose heart is snares and nets, and whose hands are fetters; he who pleases God escapes her, but the sinner is taken by her.
7:27 "Hey, this is what I found," says the Preacher, "adding one thing to another to find the sum,
7:28 which my mind has repeatedly tried to get but I have not found. One man among a thousand I found, but a woman among all these I have not found.
7:29 Hey, this alone I found, that God made man upright, but they have sought out many [revisionist-weaselword] devices."
Isaiah 3:12 My people: children are their oppressors, and women [judges, lawyers, politicians, check-out clerks and bankers, female fuzz and femmi-pastors] rule over them. Oh my people, your leaders mislead you, and confuse the course of your paths.
Nahum 3:12 All your fortresses are like fig trees with first-ripe figs: if shaken they fall into the mouth of the eater.
Nahum 3:13 Hey, your [Army/Navy/Airforce/Marine/Israeli-Defense-Force combat] troops are women among you. The [State-Dept-lacky] gates of your [United-States] land are wide open to your [genocidal-terrorist allah-akbar-crazy] foes; [exploding-jet fire] has devoured your [NYC Trade-Tower and City-of-Paris] fortresses.
First Corinthians 14:34 ...the women must-and-not-simply-should keep silence in the churches. For they are not allowed to speak, but should be subordinate, as even the Law says.
First Timothy 2:8 I [and obviously also the Spirit of Jesus who authored what I am writing down in print] desire then that in every place the men should pray, lifting holy hands without anger or quarreling;
2:9 also that women should adorn themselves modestly and sensibly in decent apparel, not with plaited hair or gold or pearls or costly clothing fashions and styles
2:10 but by good works [not "faith alone"], as befits women who profess Christianity.
2:11 Have a woman learn in silence with all submissiveness.
2:12 I allow NO woman to teach or to have authority over men [especially Hillary Clinton or even Carly Fiorina, and forget the brit and jew clean-shaven/homogay wimps who let Thatcher and Golda rule for a while]; she is to keep silent.
2:13 For Adam was formed first, then Eve; [which goes way beyond the confines of "the" "church"]
2:14 and Adam was not deceived, but the woman was deceived and became a transgressor.
2:15 Yet woman will be saved by bearing children [if they are able, or at least support anti-abortionism], if she continues in faith and love and holiness, with sensibility.
First Timothy 5:14 So I [and obviously also the Spirit of God who authored all these specially-selected particular words with these specially-selected particular alphabet letters, and no other ones] would have younger women [NOT "widows" -- being that the Greek word ne(o)teras and not ch(e)ras is found here in THE Autograph-Authentic Inerrant and Infallible Greek Text] marry, bear children, manage and not rule their households, and give the enemy no cause to slander or to revile us.
First Timothy 5:15 For some have already strayed after Satan.
