The other night, the neighbor peeked into the bedroom, and heard the kid praying: "Dear God, if space creatures really exist, have them show themselves to us or at least communicate with us in some way before it is too late. Amen."

"Cute," I thought, upon hearing that.

But it got me thinking.

Shouldn't intelligent beings, equal or superior to us humans, start "getting on with it" in terms of finally and actually coming out and at least showing themselves to the news-network media with cameras and mikes taking in the recordable sights and sounds.

"Hello? Anyone OUT there? Come out, come out, wherever you are! Don't be scared: we won't bite (much)."

Haven't we had enough of the questionable sightings and stories, clearly without forthright and obviously-substantial proof, of the supposed existence of such beings from outer space?

Enough already! Give us some verifiable stuff we can post on the internet for all to see and hear...and we are not talking any fake special-effects tricks from soothsayers, theatrical prop guys, nor Hollywood.

First John 1:1 That which was from the beginning, which we have heard, which we have seen with our eyes, which we have looked upon and touched with our hands, regarding the word of life...
First John 1:2 the life was made manifest, and we saw it, and testify to it, and proclaim to you the eternal life which was with the Father and was made manifest to us....
First John 1:3 that which we have seen and heard we proclaim also to you, so that you may have fellowship with us; and our fellowship is with the Father and with his Son Jesus Christ.

The problem readily ascertained about celestial-beings contact (whether electronically, verbally and audibly, using understandable ciphers or foreign/musical languages, or live sightings) is that they have to come to us, because we sure are not presently able to go to them.

First John 4:10 In this is love, not that we loved God but that He loved us and sent His Son to be the expiation for our sins.
First John 4:14 And we have seen and testify that the Father has sent His Son as the Savior of the world.

Physically, no one on planet Earth has spaceships or starships capable of any type of reasonable long-term high-speed space travel. The nearest star is four (4) light-years away, and at 186,000 miles per second light speed, that is quite a distance.

Genesis 1:16 And God made the two great lights, the greater light to rule the day, and the lesser light to rule the night; he made the stars also.

Psalm 8:3 When I look at Your heavens, the work of Your fingers, the moon and the stars which You have established;
4 what is man that You are mindful of him, and the son of man that You do care for him?
5 Yet You have made him little less than God, and do crown him with glory and honor.
6 You have given him dominion over the works of Your hands; You have put all things under his feet,
7 all sheep and oxen, and also the beasts of the field,
8 the birds of the air, and the fish of the sea, whatever passes along the paths of the sea.
9 Oh LORD, our Lord, how majestic is Your name in all the earth!

First Corinthians 15:41 There is one glory of the sun, and another glory of the moon, and another glory of the stars; for star differs from star in glory.

Our present rocket propulsion systems burn a tremendous amount of liquid-whatever fuel in a very short time, and speeds attained have generally not exceeded 25,000 per hour - FAR FAR less than 186,000 miles per second of measured light speed.

The G-force during those rocket burns for our ascending accelerating astronauts have been less than six "G's" - the usual limit of tolerance for a human being to endure without losing consciousness.

Because of inertia, and the G-forces involved, constantly accelerating faster and faster past 25,000 mph to light speed (which, according to arithmetic calculations of 25,000 X 60 X 60) would require mega-centuries of constant maximum-tolerable-G-force acceleration, having similar painful effect on a human astronaut as if he or she was on some perhaps-eventually-solid surface of the planet Jupiter with its tremendous gravitational force, because of which a human would have all he or she could do to simply lie on their back (being that their legs could not support the weight of their bodies with such significantly-increased gravitational pull) and struggle to even lift up their chests to breathe.

Decelerating from light-speed or greater velocity would also take an equally long time period of mega-centuries or even millennia because of the reverse-direction G-forces involved.

Such actual conditions are deceptively missing in the mythical make-believe Hollywood-special-effects imaginary graphics typically seen on Star Trek, Star Wars, and so on....with the concoction of supposedly-possible allegedly-existent "wormholes," "warp speed," and so forth.

Jeremiah 14:14 And the LORD said to me: "The prophets are prophesying lies in My name; I did not send them, nor did I command them or speak to them. They are prophesying to you a lying vision, worthless divination, and the deceit of their own minds."
Jeremiah 23:16 Thus says the LORD of hosts: "Do not listen to the words of the prophets who prophesy to you, filling you with vain hopes; they speak visions of their own minds, not from the mouth of the LORD."

Ezekiel 13:2 "Son of man, prophesy against the prophets of Israel, prophesy and say to those who prophesy out of their own minds: 'Hear the word of the LORD!'
Ezekiel 13:7 Have you not seen a delusive vision, and uttered a lying divination, whenever you have said, 'Says the LORD,' although I have not spoken?"
Ezekiel 13:9 My hand will be against the prophets who see delusive visions and who give lying divinations; they shall not be in the council of My people, nor be enrolled in the register of the house of Israel, nor shall they enter the land of Israel; and you shall know that I am the Lord GOD.
Ezekiel 13:17 "And you, son of man, set your face against the daughters of your people, who prophesy out of their own minds; prophesy against them."

Not only that, but centuries-and-even-millennia-long space trips to even the closest stars and then only those within our very limited section of our galaxy would require tons and tons of huge amounts of stored oxygen-mixture air to breathe, water, food of adequate varieties and nutrition, needed sunlight, urination and defecation facilities, exercise room, medical and childbirth provisions, repair shops and supplies for occasional and inevitable parts breakdowns, and more.

Joshua 9:4 they on their part acted with cunning, and went and made ready provisions, and took worn-out sacks upon their asses, and wineskins, worn-out and torn and mended,
Joshua 9:5 with worn-out, patched sandals on their feet, and worn-out clothes; and all their provisions were dry and moldy.
Joshua 9:11 And our elders and all the inhabitants of our country said to us, 'Take provisions in your hand for the journey, and go to meet them, and say to them, "We are your servants; come now, make a covenant with us."'
Joshua 9:14 So the men partook of their provisions, and did not ask direction from the LORD.

Luke 14:31 Or what king, going to encounter another king in war, will not sit down first and take counsel whether he is able with ten thousand to meet him who comes against him with twenty thousand?

Luke 22:35 And He said to them, "When I sent you out with no purse or bag or sandals, did you lack anything?" They said, "Nothing."
Luke 22:36 He said to them, "But now, let him who has a purse take it, and likewise a bag. And let him who has no sword sell his mantle and buy one.
Luke 22:37 For I tell you that this scripture must be fulfilled in Me, 'And He was reckoned with transgressors'; for what is written about Me has its fulfilment."
Luke 22:38 And they said, "Look, Lord, here are two swords." And He said to them, "It is enough."

So, space aliens would have to come to us, under the presently-limited and foreseeable-future conditions.

From the above-stated descriptions of problems involved, it is understandable that alien beings in practically any imaginable form would have the same restrictions of long-term and huge-distance physical space travel to Earth.

Luke 16:26 And besides all this, between us and you a great chasm has been fixed, in order that those who would pass from here to you may not be able, and none may cross from there to us.'

But how about electronic communications to them from Earth, or from them to Earth? Has it really happened yet? If not, why not?

Second Peter 1:16 For we did not follow cleverly devised myths when we made known to you the power and coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, but we were eyewitnesses of His majesty.

Whether the Universe is 4 billion Earth-years old (as evolutionists presume) or less than 8000 years old (as Biblical young-Earth creationists purport), something or someone out there near some star in some solar system around it (if such beings exist at all) might have at least (telescopically or however) become aware of Earth, its accomodating characteristics for lifeforms support (as we perceive sentient lifeforms), and various lifeforms having come into existence and existing on planet Earth.

Psalm 146:9 The LORD watches over the travelers, He upholds the widow and the fatherless; but the way of the wicked He brings to ruin.

Proverbs 5:21 For a man's ways are before the eyes of the LORD, and He watches all his paths.
Proverbs 24:12 If you say, "Hey, we did not know this," does not He who weighs the heart perceive it? Does not He who keeps watch over your soul know it, and will He not requite man according to his work?

Matthew 10:29 Are not two sparrows sold for a penny? And not one of them will fall to the ground without your Father's will.
Matthew 10:30 But even the hairs of your head are all numbered.

Luke 12:7 Why, even the hairs of your head are all numbered. Fear not; you are of more value than many sparrows.

With all the above in mind, it is rather understandable why nothing and no one has transmitted verifiable communication to us eagerly-expectant humans residing on Earth, despite the questionable reports of UFO sightings of strange physical oddities indigenous to Earth's environment, experimental military aircraft, weird lightning, firefly glowings and photo-luminescent plants and whatever, bizarre atmospheric conditions, etc.

IF there were space-based aliens who or which did physically visit Earth, not simply attempt to communicate with Earth creatures from a vast distance, how would they relate to the same Creator God (Jesus), who Christians assert created everything in the entire Cosmos?

Colossians 1:12 Thanks be given to the Father, who has qualified us to share in the inheritance of the saints in light.
13 He has delivered us from the dominion of darkness and transferred us to the kingdom of His beloved Son,
14 in whom we have redemption, the forgiveness of sins.

Would they want to interact with immorally-polluted treacherously-vicious, haphazardly-clothed humans, and (if so) why would they desire to do that? Would they not consider eliminating all of the defiled and defiling human species on the entire face of the planet at once with whatever sophisticated technique they developed, clean up Earth's environment, move in and take over themselves?

Romans 5:8 But God shows His love for us in that while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.

Would they even being to consider the realistically-quite-hopelessly-futile dirty-job possibility of saving humanity from themselves, in part or in entirety? Would they be willing to solve the National Debt, stop unemployment, wars, the energy crisis, irresponsibly-caused accidents and diseases, injuries and handicaps?

Matthew 8:17 This was to fulfil what was spoken by the prophet Isaiah, "He took our infirmities and bore our diseases."

Is not the wayward search and expectancy to communicate with, and/or be communicated to, outer-space aliens an expression of the deviance of rebellious and defiant humans who reject, ignore, and disregard the Divine Scriptural solution to society's woes and grievances?

Second Thessalonians 2:7 For the mystery of lawlessness is already at work; only he who now restrains it will do so until he is out of the way.
8 And then the lawless one will be revealed, and the Lord Jesus will slay him with the breath of His mouth and destroy him by His appearing and His coming.
9 The coming of the lawless one by the activity of Satan will be with all power and with pretended signs and wonders,
10 and with all wicked deception for those who are to perish, because they refused to love the truth and so be saved.
