How To Do It

How to Do What?

How a Christian should act and react to the wicked-at-heart majority of people on the broad and easy road to destruction, realizing that most persons are indeed (whether gradually and subtly, or instead overtly and obviously) headed to Hell and definitely will get and go there in all likelihood?

Matthew 7:13 "Enter by the narrow gate; for the gate is wide and the way is easy, that leads to destruction, and those who enter by it are many."

So, most persons are headed for, and will actually enter, Hell.

No problem. "No water off our backs." In one sense, we couldn't care less. It is their problem. Different strokes for different folks. It's their choice, and they have to live with the personal choice they make.

But, it is vital, when approaching and perhaps casually interacting with even those suspected to be or become the many to be damned, to - on a first-time encounter on a tertiary level - first apply honest self-examination of ourselves as the first order of business, and (unless the Spirit tells us otherwise), then give others the proverbial "benefit of the doubt" . . . in terms of courtesy and cautiously-guarded friendliness (while apprehensively and understandably prepared for a negative accusatory response of imposing what they mis-consider "spam" or "harassment:"

Proverbs 23:9 Do not speak in the hearing of a fool, for he will despise the wisdom of your words.
Second Thessalonians 3:2 and that we may be delivered from wicked and evil humans; for not all have faith.

So, upon strict self-examination:

Proverbs 20:9 Who can say, "I have made my heart clean; I am pure from my sin"?
Jeremiah 14:7 "Though our iniquities testify against us, act, Oh LORD, for your name's sake; for our backslidings are many, we have sinned against you."
Lamentations 1:22 "Let all their evil doing come before you; and deal with them as you have dealt with me because of all my transgressions; for my groans are many and my heart is faint."
First John 1:8 If we say we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us.
First John 1:10 If we say we have not sinned, we make Him out to be a liar, and His Word is not in us.

Luke 6:42 How can you say to your brother, 'Brother, let me take out the speck that is in your eye,' when you yourself do not see the log that is in your own eye? You hypocrite, first take the log out of your own eye, and then you will see clearly to take out the speck that is in your brother's eye.

What should be our attitude toward some driver barging in ahead of us? Cutting in front of our shopping cart? Backing up into us when we are standing behind them in line? Running into us when not looking where they are going? Swinging their arms out too far and gently hitting us and/or our food or drink accidentally with their limbs?

Deuteronomy 19:1 When the LORD your God cuts off the nations whose land the LORD your God gives you, and you dispossess them and reside in their cities and in their houses,
2 you shall set apart three cities for you in the land which the LORD your God gives you to possess.
3 You shall prepare the roads, and divide into three parts the area of the land which the LORD your God gives you as a possession, so that any manslaughterer can flee to them.
4 "This is the provision for the manslayer, who by fleeing there may save his life. If any one kills his neighbor unintentionally without having been at enmity with him in time past --
5 as when a man goes into the forest with his neighbor to cut wood, and his hand swings the axe to cut down a tree, and the head slips from the handle and strikes his neighbor so that he dies -- he may flee to one of these cities and save his life;
6 lest the avenger of blood in hot anger pursue the manslaughterer and overtake him, because the way is long, and wound him mortally, though the man did not deserve to die, since he was not at enmity against his neighbor in time past.

When yours truly was in Austria for schooling, I quickly learned the difference in slight but important shades of meaning of two quite different German words used for apologies:

(a) "Verzeihung" means a deep regret based on profound remorse for doing something seriously damaging to someone, and
(b) "Entschuldigung" which means a casual "I'm sorry" as a passing remark for doing some slight inconvenience to someone.

I hope I spelled the German terms correctly. It's been a while.

So, our general response to namelessly-anonymous individuals of the general public at large?

Leviticus 19:18 "You shall not take vengeance or bear any grudge against the sons of your own people, but you shall love your neighbor as yourself: I am the LORD."
Proverbs 3:29 Do not plan evil against your neighbor who resides trustingly beside you.
Proverbs 3:30 Do not contend with a man for no reason, when he has done you no harm.
Micah 2:8 But you rise against my people as an enemy; you strip the robe from the peaceful, from those who pass by trustingly with no thought of war.
Matthew 7:12 So whatever you wish that men would do to you, do so to them; for this is the law and the prophets.
Matthew 19:19 Honor your father and mother, and, You shall love your neighbor as yourself.
Luke 6:31 And as you wish that men would do to you, do so to them.
Romans 12:18 If possible, so far as it depends upon you, live peaceably with all.
Romans 13:9 The commandments, "You shall not commit adultery, You shall not murder, You shall not steal, You shall not covet," and any other commandment, are summed up in this sentence, "You shall love your neighbor as yourself."
First Corinthians 11:33 So then, my brethren, when you come together to [whatever], wait for one another.
Philippians 2:3 Do nothing from selfishness or conceit, but in humility consider others better than yourselves.
Galatians 5:14 For the whole law is fulfilled in one word, "You shall love your neighbor as yourself."
Galatians 6:2 Bear one another's burdens, and so fulfill the law of Christ.
Ephesians 4:28 Let the thief no longer steal, but rather let him labor, doing honest work with his hands, so that he may be able to give to those in need.
Colossians 3:23 Whatever your task, work heartily, as serving the Lord and not men
First Thessalonians 5:14 And we exhort you, brethren, admonish the idlers, encourage the fainthearted, help the weak, be patient with them all.
First Peter 2:17 Honor all men. Love the brotherhood. Fear God. Honor the emperor.
Hebrews 13:16 Do not neglect to do good and to share what you have, for such sacrifices are pleasing to God.
James 2:8 If you really fulfill the royal law, according to the scripture, "You shall love your neighbor as yourself," you do well.

How does that sometimes play out?

Well, let's say that an indecently-hairstyled mophead is behind us as we approach a door, and we know that she is porno-hairstyled and behind us because we momentarily glanced at her with side-vision out of the proverbial "corner of our eye."

Or, assume that a sleevesless gal who, irresponsibly and obscenely, ignorantly or deliberately, is exhibiting her naked arms behind us, or a slacksless gal is baring her nude legs completely or partially with shortened slacks, skirt, or shorts, or a soxless gal is flapping her noisy flipflop sandals against the bare soles of her feet behind us.

We must NOT open the door for her, NOR hold the door open for her behind us, and obviously not hold the door to let her go through first so we are not, of necessity, forced to defile ourselves by looking at her!

A proper gentlemen will let the door close in her face without being obligated to directly see her, which she might deem rude or inconsiderate -- but that is the price she must pay for being indecently attired.

However, if the female human is clad with a [decent] single-back-of-head-ponytail hairstyle, is [modestly] wearing long sleeves AND long slacks or long non-slitted skirt AND socks with shoes of whatever type, we can hold the door for her after we open it so she can follow us through it, or even hold the door as we first get there for her to go through it first.

We will probably get an at-least-obligatory "Thank you" response.

A word of caution: Do not expect a law-enforcement officer to go through a doorway first if you hold it open for him, because he knows (and you should realize) the possibility of you seizing his sidearm pistol when his back is to your front as he is ahead of you.

Now, it was mentioned that that "thank you" will probably be uttered by the wary person we hold the door open for. Such thanks might even be done by a gradually-wicked person because of the importunity of the situation, and the wicked one does not want to chance a busy-schedule-delaying interruption nor confrontation for not responding with a quick but necessary passing exclamation of gratitude, lest he misconstrue that we might be offended and pursue hostilities in recompense against his presumed wordless ingratitude.

One of the causes of wariness by the person saying the "Thank you" is because they (understandably) do not fully trust us:

Proverbs 26:18 Like a madman who throws firebrands, arrows, and death,
Proverbs 26:19 is the man who deceives his neighbor and says, "I am only joking!"

Jeremiah 9:4 Let every one beware of his neighbor, and put no trust in any brother; for every brother is a supplanter, and every neighbor goes about as a slanderer.
Micah 7:5 Put no trust in a neighbor, have no confidence in a friend; guard the doors of your mouth from her who lies in your bosom

He or she probably does not want to pursue a needless-under-the-circumstances time-consuming-and-wasting deeper or more intimate conversation and relationship with us, who quite possibly are considered by them to be a very-potential dangerous and frightening prolonged nuisance (particularly if we suddenly, in diabolical and sadistic trickery, let the door slam in his face, and thus bring upon ourselves his rage manifested in whatever forms.

Sometimes, it is best to not dilly-dally or hang around to discuss details of whatever:

Proverbs 10:19 When words are many, transgression is not lacking, but he who restrains his lips is prudent.
Proverbs 17:28 Even a fool who keeps silent is considered wise; when he closes his lips, he is deemed intelligent.
Ecclesiastes 5:3 For a dream comes with much business, and a fool's voice with many words.
Ezra 10:13 But the people are many, and it is a time of heavy rain; we cannot stand in the open. Nor is this a work for one day or for two; for we have greatly transgressed in this matter.

We must not presume that we have to patronize people to pacify them:

Proverbs 19:19 A man of great wrath will pay the penalty; for if you deliver him, you will only have to do it again.
Isaiah 26:10 If favor is shown to the wicked, he does not learn righteousness; in the land of uprightness he deals perversely and does not see the majesty of the LORD.
Isaiah 31:1 Woe to those who go down to Egypt for help and rely on horses, who trust in chariots because they are many and in horsemen because they are very strong, but do not look to the Holy One of Israel or consult the LORD!

So how should a Christian behave toward those of the suspected immoral majority?

Well, how does the Creator react to them?

He reveals Himself in two ways (and so should we), the first of which is positive -- with an attitude of providing for the needs and desires of others, and the second is negative -- with an attitude of not pandering by lowering morals for the sake of cowardly compromise and coveting approval from wayward and rebellious worldly:

FIRST:

Matthew 5:43 You have heard that it was said, 'You shall love your neighbor and hate your enemy.'
44 But I say to you, Love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you,
45 so that you may be sons of your Father who is in heaven; for he makes his sun rise on the evil and on the good, and sends rain on the just and on the unjust.
46 For if you love those who love you, what reward have you? Do not even the IRS do the same?
47 And if you salute only your brethren, what more are you doing than others? Do not even the nations do the same?
48 You, therefore, must be perfect, as your heavenly Father is perfect (even though you have not yet done so, or deceitfully excuse ourselves by presuming and declaring that we cannot do so because "we're only human").

SECOND

Job 34:33 Will He then make requital to suit you, because you reject it? For you must choose, and not I; therefore declare what you know.

Psalm 115:3 Our God is in the heavens; He does whatever He pleases.

Isaiah 29:16 You turn things upside down! Shall the potter be regarded as the clay; that the thing made should say of its maker, "He did not make me"; or the thing formed say of him who formed it, "He has no understanding"?
45:9 Woe to him who strives against his Maker, an earthen vessel with the potter! Does the clay say to him who fashions it, 'What are you making'? or 'Your work has no handles'?
64:8 Yet, LORD, you are our Father; we are the clay, and you are our potter; we are all the work of your hand.

Romans 9:21 Has the potter no right over the clay, to make out of the same lump one vessel for beauty and another for menial use?

To put it all in other words, God (the Creator of all His human creatures) is quite benevolent in all He has created, regarding the very-adaptable and somewhat-self-repairable bodies of all His human beings (both those who intrinsically are for Him and those who intrinsically are against Him), and regarding the phenomenally-accommodating privileged-planet environment He has put all His human creatures into (both those who love Him and those who hate Him).

But He, involving Himself with and among all of His created entities in that life-supporting environment He has created, does not budge or get out of the way of anything, and particularly anyone, He has created.

They have to get out of His way, because He is NOT going to get out of their way . . . especially if they arrogantly intend for Him to meekly submit and wimpishly be subservient to them.

So God's Christians, like God Himself, exist as benevolent entities which are generally of pleasant benefit to all humans, even those who hate God and hate the Christians. But neither God nor His Christians will relinquish their moral sovereignty and retributional justice to anyone, especially the wicked who deliberately insist that the good guys relinquish concordant with their capricious whims and demands.

Hence, there is a love-hate attitude God and His Christians have toward evil-minded humans, and that ying and yang, or pull or push, is quite evident by the following verses:

Job 35:5 Look at the heavens, and see; and consider the clouds, which are higher than you.
Job 35:6 If you have sinned, what do you accomplish against Him? And if your transgressions are multiplied, what do you do to Him?
Job 35:7 If you are righteous, what do you give to Him; or what does He receive from your hand?
Job 35:8 Your wickedness concerns a man like yourself, and your righteousness a son of man.

Psalm 28:5 Because they do not regard the works of the LORD, or the work of His hands, He will break them down [not vice-versa!] and build them up no more.
Psalm 119:158 I look at the faithless with disgust, because they do not keep your commands.
Proverbs 19:29 Condemnation is ready for scoffers, and flogging for the backs of fools.
Mark 16:16 He who believes and is baptized will be saved; but he who does not believe will be condemned.
John 3:16 For God so loved the world that He gave His only Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have eternal life.
John 3:17 For God sent the Son into the world, not to condemn the world, but that the world might be saved through Him.
John 3:18 He who believes in Him is not condemned; He who does not believe is condemned already, because he has not believed in the name of the only Son of God.
First Corinthians 16:22 If any one has no love for the Lord, let him be accursed. Our Lord, come!
Hebrews 11:7 By faith Noah, being warned by God concerning events as yet unseen, took heed and constructed an ark for the saving of his household; by this he condemned the world and became an heir of the righteousness which comes by faith.
James 4:4 Unfaithful creatures! Do you not know that friendship with the world is enmity against God? Therefore whoever wishes to be a friend of the world makes himself an enemy against God.
Second John 1:10 If any one comes to you and does not bring this doctrine [of Christ's law and gospel], do not receive him into the house or give him any greeting
Jude 1:4 For admission has been secretly gained [into mainline church congregations and seminaries] by some who long ago were designated for this condemnation, godless persons who pervert the grace of our God into licentiousness and deny our only Master and Lord, Jesus Christ.

The Lord and His saints start out with friendliness and love. . .

. . . but if that is spurned, and ultimately is relentlessly and overtly despised, it behooves both God and God's Christians to reciprocally shun, avoid, leave, disassociate from, contradict, and attack those incessantly and non-reasonably-aggressive wicked (verbally and/or physically) in all sorts of ways:

Psalm 6:10 All my enemies shall be ashamed and sorely troubled; they shall turn back, and be put to shame in a moment.
25:3 Yes, let none that wait for you be put to shame; let them be ashamed who are wantonly treacherous.
31:17 Let me not be put to shame, Oh LORD, for I call on you; let the wicked be put to shame, let them go dumbfounded to Sheol.
35:4 Let them be put to shame and dishonor who seek after my life! Let them be turned back and confounded who devise evil against me!
35:26 Let them be put to shame and confusion altogether who rejoice at my calamity! Let them be clothed with shame and dishonor who magnify themselves against me!
40:14 Let them be put to shame and confusion altogether who seek to snatch away my life; let them be turned back and brought to dishonor who desire my hurt!
40:15 Let them be appalled because of their shame who say to me, "Aha, Aha!"
53:5 There they are, in great terror, in terror such as has not been! For God will scatter the bones of the godless; they will be put to shame, for God has rejected them.
70:3 Let them be appalled because of their shame who say, "Aha, Aha!"
71:13 May my accusers be put to shame and consumed; with scorn and disgrace may they be covered who seek my hurt.
83:17 Let them be put to shame and dismayed forever; let them perish in disgrace.
109:29 May my accusers be clothed with dishonor; may they be wrapped in their own shame as in a mantle!
119:78 Let the godless be put to shame, because they have subverted me with guile; as for me, I will meditate on your precepts.
129:5 May all who hate Zion be put to shame and turned backward!

Proverbs 14:7 Leave the presence of a fool, for there you do not meet words of knowledge.
20:19 He who goes about gossiping reveals secrets; therefore do not associate with one who speaks foolishly.
21:27The sacrifice of the wicked is an abomination; how much more when he brings it with evil intent.
30:20 This is the way of an adulteress: she eats, and wipes her mouth, and says, "I have done no wrong."
9:13 A foolish woman is noisy; she is wanton and knows no shame.

Isaiah 42:17 They shall be turned back and utterly put to shame, who trust in graven images, who say to molten images, "You are our gods."
42:25 So He poured upon him the heat of His anger and the might of battle; it set him on fire round about, but he did not understand; it burned him, but he did not take it to heart.
44:11 Hey, all his fellows shall be put to shame, and the craftsmen are but men; let them all assemble, let them stand forth, they shall be terrified, they shall be put to shame together.
45:16 All of them are put to shame and confounded, the makers of idols go in confusion together.

Isaiah 47:5 Sit in silence, and go into darkness, daughter of the Chaldeans; for you shall no more be called the mistress of kingdoms.
6 I was angry with my people, I profaned my heritage; I gave them into your hand, you showed them no mercy; on the aged you made your yoke exceedingly heavy.
7 You said, "I shall be mistress forever," so that you did not lay these things to heart or remember their end.
8 Now therefore hear this, you lover of pleasures, who sit securely, who say in your heart, "I am, and there is no one besides me; I shall not sit as a widow or know the loss of children":
9 These two things shall come to you in a moment, in one day; the loss of children and widowhood shall come upon you in full measure, in spite of your many sorceries and the great power of your enchantments.
10 You felt secure in your wickedness, you said, "No one sees me"; your wisdom and your knowledge led you astray, and you said in your heart, "I am, and there is no one besides me."
11 But evil shall come upon you, for which you cannot atone; disaster shall fall upon you, which you will not be able to expiate; and ruin shall come on you suddenly, of which you know nothing.

Isaiah 65:13 Therefore thus says the Lord GOD: "Hey, my servants shall eat, but you shall be hungry; hey, my servants shall drink, but you shall be thirsty; hey, my servants shall rejoice, but you shall be put to shame
Isaiah 66:5 Hear the word of the LORD, you who tremble at his word: "Your brethren who hate you and throw you out for my name's sake have said, 'Let the LORD be glorified, that we may see your joy'; but it is they who shall be put to shame.

Jeremiah 5:6 Therefore a lion from the forest shall slay them, a wolf from the desert shall destroy them. A leopard is watching against their cities, every one who goes out of them shall be torn in pieces; because their transgressions are many, their apostasies are great.
Jeremiah 13:26 I myself will lift up your skirts over your face, and your shame will be seen.
Jeremiah 17:18 Let those be put to shame who persecute me, but let me not be put to shame; let them be dismayed, but let me not be dismayed; bring upon them the day of evil; destroy them with double destruction!

Ezekiel 16:36 Thus says the Lord GOD, "Because your shame was laid bare and your nakedness uncovered in your harlotries with your lovers, and because of all your idols, and because of the blood of your children that you gave to them,"
37 therefore, hey, I will gather all your lovers, with whom you took pleasure, all those you loved and all those you loathed; I will gather them against you from every side, and will uncover your nakedness to them, that they may see all your nakedness.
38 And I will judge you as women who break wedlock and shed [abortion-homicide] blood are judged, and bring upon you the blood of wrath and jealousy.
39 And I will give you into the hand of your lovers, and they shall throw down your vaulted chamber and break down your lofty places; they shall strip you of your clothes and take your fair jewels, and leave you naked and bare.
40 They shall bring up a host against you, and they shall stone you and cut you to pieces with their swords.

Ezekiel 44:13 They shall not come near to me, to serve me as priest, nor come near any of my sacred things and the things that are most sacred; but they shall bear their shame, because of the abominations which they have committed.

Daniel 12:2 And many of those who sleep in the dust of the earth shall awake, some to everlasting life, and some to shame and everlasting contempt.

Hosea 4:7 The more they increased, the more they sinned against me; I will change their glory into shame.
Hosea 10:6 Yes, the thing itself shall be carried to Assyria, as tribute to the great king. Ephraim shall be put to shame, and Israel shall be ashamed of his idol.

Micah 1:11 Pass on your way, inhabitants of Shaphir, in nakedness and shame; the inhabitants of Zaanan do not come forth; the wailing of Bethezel shall take away from you its standing place.
Micah 7:10 Then my enemy will see, and shame will cover her who said to me, "Where is the LORD your God?" My eyes will gloat over her; now she will be trodden down like the mire of the streets.

Nahum 3:5 "Hey, I am against you," says the LORD of hosts, "and will lift up your skirts over your face; and I will let nations look on your nakedness and kingdoms on your shame."

Habakkuk2:10 You have devised shame to your house by cutting off many peoples; you have forfeited your life.
Habakkuk 2:16 You will be sated with contempt instead of glory. Drink, yourself, and stagger! The cup in the LORD's right hand will come around to you, and shame will come upon your glory!

Zephaniah3:5 The LORD within her is righteous, He does no wrong; every morning He shows forth His justice, each dawn He does not fail; but the injust knows no shame.
Zephaniah 3:11 "On that day you shall not be put to shame because of the deeds by which you have rebelled against me; for then I will remove from your midst your proudly exultant ones, and you shall no longer be haughty in my holy mountain."

Romans 16:17 I appeal to you, brethren, to remember those who create dissensions and difficulties, in opposition to the doctrine which you have been taught; avoid them.

First Corinthians 5:9 I wrote to you in my letter to not associate with immoral humans
First Corinthians 15:34 Come to your right mind, and sin no more. For some have no knowledge of God. I say this to your shame.

Ephesians 5:7 Therefore do not associate with them

Philippians 3:19 Their end is destruction, their god is the belly, and they glory in their shame, with minds set on earthly things.

First Timothy 6:20 Oh Timothy, guard what has been entrusted to you. Avoid the godless chatter and contradictions of what is falsely called "knowledge" (i.e. "science")

Second Timothy 2:14 Remind them of this, and charge them before the Lord to avoid disputing about words, which does no good, but only ruins the hearers.
Second Timothy 2:16 Avoid such godless chatter, for it will lead people into more and more godlessness,
Second Timothy 3:5 holding the form of religion but denying the power of it. Avoid such people.

Titus 2:7 Show yourself in all respects a model of good deeds, and in your teaching show integrity, gravity, Titus 2:8 and sound speech that cannot be censured, so that an opponent may be put to shame, having nothing evil to say of us.

Titus 3:1 Remind them to be submissive to rulers and authorities, to be obedient, to be ready for any honest work,
2 to speak evil of no one, to avoid quarreling, to be gentle, and to show perfect courtesy toward all men.
3 For we ourselves were once foolish, disobedient, led astray, slaves to various passions and pleasures, passing our days in malice and envy, hated by men and hating one another;
4 but when the goodness and loving kindness of God our Savior appeared,
5 He saved us, not because of deeds done by us in righteousness [ nor in wickedness, neither of which atoned for our past sins committed under wicked duress ], but in virtue of His own mercy, by the washing of regeneration and renewal in the Holy Spirit
6 which He poured out upon us richly through Jesus Christ our Savior,
7 so that we might be justified by His grace [ who imposed the lethal stumbling blocks of The Tempter and The Tree of The Knowledge of Good and Evil in The Garden ] and become heirs in hope of eternal life.
8 The saying is sure. I desire you to insist on these things, so that those who have believed in God may be careful to apply themselves to good deeds; these are excellent and profitable to humans.
9 But avoid stupid controversies, genealogies, dissensions, and quarrels over the law, for they are unprofitable and futile.
10 As for a man/woman [ Gr. anthr(o)pon ] who is factious, after admonishing him/her once or twice, have nothing more to do with him/her,
11 knowing that such a person is perverted and sinful; he/she is self-condemned.

First Peter 3:16 and keep your conscience clear, so that, when you are abused, those who revile your good behavior in Christ may be put to shame.

First John 2:28 And now, little children [ whatever you say, OLD man! ], reside in Him, so that when He appears we may have confidence and not shrink from Him in shame at His coming.

Jude 1:5 Now I desire to remind you, though you were once for all fully informed, that he who saved a people out of the land of Egypt, afterward destroyed those who did not believe.
6 And the angels who did not keep their own position but left their proper dwelling have been kept by Him in eternal chains in the nether gloom until The Judgment of The Great Day;
7 just as Sodom and Gomorrah and the surrounding cities, who likewise acted immorally and indulged in unnatural lust, serve as an example by undergoing an everlasting punishment of eternal fire.
Second Thessalonians 1:9 They shall suffer the punishment of eternal destruction and exclusion away from the presence of the Lord and away from the glory of His might
Jude 1:8 Yet in like manner these men in their dreamings defile the flesh, reject authority, and revile the glorious ones.
9 But when the archangel Michael, contending with The Devil, disputed about the body of Moses, he did not presume to pronounce a reviling judgment upon him, but said, "The Lord rebuke you." [ Don't take the Devil on by yourself, or else he will reverse-exorcise you! ]
10 But these humans revile whatever they do not understand, and by those things that they know by instinct as irrational animals do, they are destroyed.
11 Woe to them! For they walk in the way of Cain, and abandon themselves for the sake of gain to Balaam's error, and perish in Korah's rebellion.
12 These are blemishes on your love feasts, as they boldly carouse together, looking after themselves; waterless clouds, carried along by winds; fruitless trees in late autumn, twice dead, uprooted;
13 wild waves of the sea, casting up the foam of their own shame; wandering stars for whom the nether gloom of darkness has been reserved forever.

Revelation 3:18 Therefore I counsel you to buy from me gold refined by fire, that you may be rich, and white garments to clothe you and to keep the shame of your nakedness from being seen, and salve to anoint your eyes, that you may see.

God Himself showed unconditional-love kind tolerance and non-judgmental/coexisting-diversity perfect courtesy to all [wicked] humans by drowning them all (except Noah et al) with a predicted global flood, then showed unconditional-love kind tolerance and non-judgmental/coexisting-diversity perfect courtesy toward the homoperverts of Sodom and Gomorrah by incinerating them with a meteorite shower. The Lord, in complicity with Moses, showed unconditional-love kind tolerance and non-judgmental/coexisting-diversity perfect courtesy toward Pharaoh and his Egyptian army by drowning them in the Red Sea. Joshua, at the Lord's command, annihilated every man and woman and child of the Canaanites displaying remarkable unconditional-love kind tolerance and non-judgmental/coexisting-diversity perfect courtesy, to so-called "palestinians" (after anti-Zionist Hamas terroristically lobbed rockets into Israeli territory), and idolatrous native American indians, and thereby showed perfect courtesy toward them. The GIs showed unconditional-love kind tolerance and non-judgmental/coexisting-diversity perfect courtesy to imperialist-kamakaze Japs by dropping the A-bombs on them at Hiroshim and Nagasaki, after the Japs showed unconditional-love kind tolerance and non-judgmental/coexisting-diversity perfect courtesy toward the GIs by surprise-attacking them and ruining our navy ships at Pearl Harbor. Elijah showed unconditional-love kind tolerance and non-judgmental/coexisting-diversity perfect courtesy toward law-enforcement officers of Ahab by calling fire down on them from heaven. David showed Goliath unconditional-love kind tolerance and non-judgmental/coexisting-diversity perfect courtesy was to slam a rock into his forehead, then cut off his head, and the prophet Samuel showed unconditional-love kind tolerance and non-judgmental/coexisting-diversity perfect courtesy toward Agag the Amalakite by hewing him in pieces before the LORD. So, it is obvious that people (even wicked ones) count.

Proverbs 16:4 The LORD has made everything for its purpose, even the wicked for the day of trouble.

That is why it is important to not merely love God, but also [ although conditionally! ] humans:

Leviticus 19:18 You shall not take vengeance or bear any grudge against the sons of your own people, but you shall love your neighbor as yourself: I am the LORD.

Matthew 5:43 "You have heard that it was said, 'You shall love your neighbor and hate your enemy.'
44 But I say to you, Love your enemies and pray about those who persecute you,
45 so that you may be sons of your Father who is in heaven; for He makes his Sun rise on the evil and on the good, and sends rain on the just and on the injust [ and will eternally and thankfully forever segregate and separate proverbial sheep from proverbial goats according to Matthew chapter 25, plus bless the former while perpetually torturing the latter in outer-darkness lake-of-fire sequestration ].

Proof?

God Himself showed perfect courtesy to all deviant humans by drowning them all (except faithfully-righteous-and-believing Noah et al) with a predicted Global Flood [ did you know that Noah was a much-persecuted rabid newscaster warning everyone with all his might, with livid Day After Tomorrow fervor? ], then showed perfect courtesy toward the homoperverts of Sodom and Gomorrah by incinerating them with a meteorite shower. The Lord, in complicity with Moses, showed perfect courtesy toward Pharaoh and his Egyptian army by drowning them in the Red Sea. Joshua, at the Lord's command, annihilated every man and woman and child of the Canaanites, the so-called "palestinians" (after anti-Zionist Hamas terroristically lobbed rockets into Israel territory), and idolatrous native American indians, and thereby showed perfect courtesy toward them. The GIs showed perfect courtesy to imperialist-kamakaze Japs by dropping the A-bombs on them at Hiroshima and Nagasaki, after the Japs showed perfect courtesy toward the GIs by surprise-attacking Pearl Harbor. Elijah showed perfect courtesy toward law-enforcement officers of Ahab by calling fire down on them from heaven. David showed Goliath "perfect courtesy" was to slam a rock into his forehead, then cut off his head, and the prophet Samuel showed perfect courtesy toward Agag the Amalakite by hewing him in pieces before the LORD.

Why such unconditionally-loving and tolerant "perfect courtesy" displayed by the Almighty and His elect to the wicked?

Amos 4:4 "Come to Bethel, and transgress; to Gilgal, and multiply transgression; bring your sacrifices every morning, your tithes every three days;
5 offer a sacrifice of thanksgiving of that which is leavened, and proclaim freewill offerings, publish them; for so you love to do, O people of Israel!" says the Lord GOD.
6 "I gave you cleanness of teeth in all your cities, and lack of bread in all your places, yet you did not return to me," says the LORD.
7 "And I also withheld the rain from you when there were yet three months to the harvest; I would send rain upon one city, and send no rain upon another city; one field would be rained upon, and the field on which it did not rain withered;
8 so two or three cities wandered to one city to drink water, and were not satisfied; yet you did not return to me," says the LORD.
9 "I smote you with blight and mildew; I laid waste your gardens and your vineyards; your fig trees and your olive trees the locust devoured; yet you did not return to me," says the LORD.
10 "I sent among you a pestilence after the manner of Egypt; I slew your young men with the sword; I carried away your horses; and I made the stench of your camp go up into your nostrils; yet you did not return to me," says the LORD.
11 "I overthrew some of you, as when God overthrew Sodom and Gomorrah, and you were as a brand plucked out of the burning; yet you did not return to me," says the LORD.
12 "Therefore thus I will do to you, Israel; because I will do this to you, prepare to meet your God, Israel!"
13 For wow, He who forms the mountains, and creates the wind, and declares to humanity what is His thought; who makes the morning darkness, and treads on the heights of the earth . . . the LORD, the God of hosts, is His name!

Isaiah 42:25 So he poured upon him the heat of His anger and the might of battle; it set him on fire round about, but he did not understand; it burned him, but he did not take it to heart.

Numbers 23:19 God is not man, that he should lie, or a son of man, that he should change His mind. Has he said, and will he not do it? Or has he spoken, and will he not fulfill it?
First Samuel 15:29 And also the Glory of Israel will not lie or repent; for He is not a man, that He should change His mind."

Job 34:20 In a moment they (i.e. wicked humans - not God) die; at midnight the people (not the Creator) are shaken and pass away, and the mighty are taken away by no human hand.

Romans 13:9 The commandments, "You shall not commit adultery, You shall not kill, You shall not steal, You shall not covet," and any other commandment, are summed up in this sentence: "You shall love your neighbor as yourself."
Galatians 5:14 For the whole law is fulfilled in one word: "You shall love your neighbor as yourself."
Galatians 5:15 But if you bite and devour one another take heed that you are not consumed by one another.
James 2:8 If you really fulfill the royal law, according to the scripture, "You shall love your neighbor as yourself," you do well.

Worship and adore God alone . . . but love people? Yes, and no - depending upon their response to their Creator.
