Law Haters

I, last Sunday on a "christian" radio station in the Twin Cities, heard another so-called "christian" baptist (or was it lutheran or presbyterian or methodist) preacher preach against the Law and against good works and against doing good works, and instead blatter and beller that "we're saved by grace though faith not by works of law."

When I study the Torah, and books of Job and Psalms and Proverbs, plus the writings of Isaiah and Jeremiah and Ezekiel and others, I simply do not get the impression that such Hebrew spokesmen for God ignored the Law, replaced the Law with "faith" and "grace" and "mercy" and "forgiveness" and "tolerance," despised the Law, and dismissed the need to do good works related to obeying that Law.

In fact, what Matthew and Mark and Luke and John record of what Jesus is said to have said according to those gospels is not only quotations from and reaffirmations of aforementioned Old-Testament Mosaic and other Law, but amplified and stringent Law enhancements of such - along with the New-Testament epistle writings of Paul, Peter, whoever wrote Hebrews, James, Jude, etc. -- profuse in their writing with not only reference to Old-Testament Law but elaboration and amplification of such Law.

The "we're saved by Messiah" or "saved by faith" or "justified by grace through faith alone apart from works of Law" mantras of fake-christian pastors and preachers and evangelists simply does not mesh with the overwhelming preponderance of must-do Law statutes and obvious implied requirements for complying with such in both Testaments of The Bible.

Proverbial sheep and proverbial goats will stand before the King in Judgment Day to be differentiated not by whether they accepted Jesus as their personal Savior nor even having believed that the shed blood of Jesus cancelled and forgave all the penalty of all their sins, but instead on whether they did the good works of providing for the Lord's servants in various ways, or not.

The resurrected wicked dead and resurrected righteous dead, along with the then-raptured saints, will be judged on "what they had done" - which includes their own faith and their own faithlessness but does not exclude both their own good works and their own wicked works:

Revelation 20:12 And I saw the dead, great and small, standing before the throne, and books were opened. Also another book was opened, which is the book of life. And the dead were judged by what was written in the books, by what they had done.
Revelation 20:13 And the sea gave up the dead in it, Death and Hades gave up the dead in them, and all were judged by what they had done.

Let's cite some pro-Law references throughout Scripture:

Proverbs 30:12 There are those who are pure in their own eyes but are not cleansed of their [faith-alone-pseudo-righteousness] filth.

Isaiah 8:20 To the Law and to the testimony: if they speak not according to this word, it is because there is no light in them.

Isaiah 64:5 You meet him who joyfully works righteousness, those who remember You in your ways. Hey, You were angry, and we sinned; in our sins we have been a long time, and shall we be saved?

Habakkuk 1:4 So the Law is slacked and justice never goes forth. Because the wicked surround the righteous, justice goes forth perverted.

Jesus Himself is said to have said:

Matthew 5:16 Let your light so shine before people, that they may see your good works and give glory to your Father who is in heaven.

Matthew 5:17 "Think not that I have come to abolish the Law and the prophets; I have come not to abolish them but to fulfill them."

And our goal should be being imitators of Christ, and thus also not abolish the Law but instead fulfill it.

Matthew 5:19 Whoever then relaxes one of the least of these suggestions or recommendations (excuse me: COMMANDMENTS) and teaches people so, shall be called least in the kingdom of heaven (if they even get into heaven at all); but he who does them and teaches them shall be called great in the kingdom of heaven.

And not pass the buck and claim the righteousness of Christ while one continues to casually and flippantly wallow in the filth of their anti-Law/anti-good-works slime and puke.

Luke 6:46 "Why do you call me 'Lord, Lord,' and not do what I tell you?"

Luke 16:17 But it is easier for heaven and earth to pass away, than for one dot of the Law to become void.

Were doing good works important to both Jesus and Jews?

John 10:32 Jesus answered them: "I have shown you many good works from the Father; for which of these do you stone me?"
John 10:33 The Jews answered Him: "It is not for a good work that we stone you but for blasphemy; because you, being a man, make yourself God."
John 10:37 If I am not doing the works of my Father, then do not believe me;
John 10:38 but if I do them, even if you do not believe me, believe the works, that you may know and understand that the Father is in me and I am in the Father."

John 14:11 Believe me that I am in the Father and the Father in me; or else believe me for the sake of the works themselves.

Romans 2:6 He will render to every human according to their works...

Romans 3:31 Do we then overthrow the Law by this faith? By no means! On the contrary, we uphold the Law.

Romans 7:12 So the Law is holy, and the commandment [not merely "suggestion" or "recommendation"] is holy and just and good.

Ephesians 2:10 For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand, that we should walk in them.

Indeed: MUST - not simply "should," walk in them!

Titus 1:16 They profess to know God, but they deny Him by their works; they are detestable, disobedient, unfit for any good work.

Hebrews 10:24 ...and let us consider how to stir up one another to love and good works...

James 2:17 So faith by itself, if it has no works, is dead.
James 2:18 But some one will say: "You have faith and I have works." Show me your faith apart from your works, and I by my works will show you my faith.
James 2:20 Do you want to be shown, you shallow man, that faith apart from works is barren?
James 2:21 Was not Abraham our father justified by works, when he offered his son Isaac upon the altar?
James 2:24 You see that a human is justified by works and not by faith alone.

First Peter 2:16 Live as free humans, yet without using your freedom as a pretext for evil; but live as servants of God.

Revelation 22:14 [KJV/JB2000 - not RSV/NASV/NIV/TEV/Darby/Douay/ERV/ESV/WEY etc.] Blessed are they who do His commandments, that they may have right to the Tree of Life, and may enter in through the gates into The City.
Revelation 22:15 For outside are dogs and sorcerers, and fornicators and murderers and idolaters, and whoever loves and makes a lie.

Some of the most hideously-misunderstood and misapplied verses in the New Testament are the following:

Romans 3:20 For no human being will be justified in His sight by works of the Law, since through the Law comes knowledge of sin.
3:24 they are justified by His grace as a gift, through the redemption which is in Christ Jesus
3:28 For we hold that a human is justified by faith apart from works of Law.
4:14 If it is the adherents of the Law who are to be the heirs, faith is null and the promise is void.
9:32 Why? Because they did not pursue it through faith, but as if it were based on works. They have stumbled over the stumbling stone
11:6 But if it is by grace, it is no longer on the basis of works; otherwise grace would no longer be grace.

Galatians 2:16 ...a human is not justified by works of the Law but through faith in Jesus Christ, even we who have believed in Christ Jesus, in order to be justified by faith in Christ, and not by works of the Law, because by works of the Law shall no one be justified.
3:2 Let me ask you only this: Did you receive the Spirit by works of the Law, or by hearing with faith?
3:5 Does He who supplies the Spirit to you and works miracles among you do so by works of the Law, or by hearing with faith?
3:10 For all who rely on works of the Law are under a curse; for it is written: "Cursed be every one who does not abide by all things written in the book of the Law, and do them."
5:4 You are severed from Christ, you who would be justified by the Law; you have fallen away from grace.

Second Timothy 1:9 ...[He] saved us and called us with a holy calling, not in virtue of our works but in virtue of His own purpose and the grace which He gave us in Christ Jesus ages ago.

So......doing good works is not necessary? Even destructive and diabolical against grace and faith and justification in Christ Jesus? Doing good works is evil, and is lawless wickedness? Doing good works is blasphemously and boastfully casting reproach on the Savior who was perfect in Himself alone and not we ourselves doing good works He already did?

For self-sufficiently dull-of-mind idiots who "don't get it," what the passages in Romans chapter 3, Galatians chapters 2 and 5 and others simply mean is that "justification" (i.e. atonement against sins committed and not performed, resulting in redemption and salvation for genuine Christians who want to never sin at any time under any circumstance, who inwardly delight in the Law of God [as it states in Romans chapter 7] but are under satanic and demonic duress to sin [essentially against their free will] . . . is never accomplished by authentic Christians having done whatever good works they have previously done or are doing, but atonement-type "justification" is only obtained by acknowledging that the sacrificial provision by Christ's shed blood is a historical fact and is personally applicable and effective to and for themselves for complete absolution, total guilt removal and penalty cancellation, and ever-thereafter sin eradication.

God will judge His seven Churches not on faith alone, but pertaining to their works:

Revelation 2:2 "I know your works, your labor and your patient endurance, and how you cannot bear evil persons but have tested those who call themselves "apostles" but are not, and found them to be false..."
2:5 "Remember then from what you have fallen, repent and do the works you did at first. If not, I will come to you and remove your lamp stand from its place, unless you repent."
2:19 "I know your works, your love and faith and service and patient endurance, and that your latter works exceed the first."
2:23 "...And all the churches shall know that I am He who searches mind and heart, and I will give to each of you as your works deserve."
2:26 "He who conquers and who keeps my works until the end, I will give him power over the nations."
3:1 "And to the angel of the church in Sardis write: 'The words of Him who has the seven spirits of God and the seven stars. "'I know your works; you have the name of being alive, and you are dead.'"
3:2 "Awake, and strengthen what remains and is on the point of death, for I have not found your works perfect in the sight of my God."
3:8 "I know your works. Hey, I have set before you an open door, which no one is able to shut; I know that you have but little power, and yet you have kept my word and have not denied my name."
3:15 "I know your works: you are neither cold nor hot. Would that you were cold or hot! So, because you are lukewarm, and neither cold not hot, I will spit you out of my mouth."

Consider the attitude toward Law, finding out what the Law is and consists of, and doing the good works of obedience to Law expressed by David:

Psalm 40:8 I delight to do Your will, my God; Your Law is within my heart."
94:12 Blessed is the person whom You do chasten, LORD, and whom You do teach out of Your Law
119:18 Open my eyes, that I may behold wondrous things out of Your Law.
119:29 Put false ways far from me; and graciously teach me Your Law!
119:34 Give me understanding, that I may keep Your Law and observe it with my whole heart.
119:44 I will keep Your Law continually, forever;
119:51 Godless persons utterly deride me, but I do not turn away from Your Law.
119:53 Hot indignation seizes me because of the wicked, who reject Your Law.
119:55 I remember Your name in the night, LORD, and keep Your Law.
119:61 Though the cords of the wicked ensnare me, I do not forget Your Law.
119:77 Let Your mercy come to me, that I may live; for Your Law is my delight.
119:85 Godless persons have dug pitfalls for me, persons who do not conform to Your Law.
119:92 If Your Law had not been my delight, I would have perished in my affliction.
119:97 Oh, how I love Your Law! It is my meditation all the day.
119:109 I hold my life in my hand continually, but I do not forget Your Law.
119:113 I hate double-minded persons, but I love Your Law.
119:126 It is time for the LORD to act, for Your Law has been broken.
119:136 My eyes shed streams of tears, because humans do not keep Your Law.
119:150 They draw near who persecute me with evil purpose; they are far from Your Law.
119:153 Look on my affliction and deliver me, for I do not forget Your Law.
119:163 I hate and abhor falsehood, but I love Your Law.
119:165 Great peace have those who love Your Law; nothing can make them stumble.
119:163 I hate and abhor falsehood, but I love Your Law.
119:165 Great peace have those who love Your Law; nothing can make them stumble.

It was said in Scripture that many will remind the Lord about how they did many mighty works in His name, yet He will turn them away with His accusation of them being "evildoers."

So, is doing "good works" in Christ's name being an "evildoer?"

Psalm 40:6 Sacrifice and offering you do not desire; but you have given me an open ear. Burnt offering and sin offering you have not required.
50:14 Offer to God a sacrifice of thanksgiving, and pay your vows to the Most High
50:23 He who brings thanksgiving as his sacrifice honors me; to him who orders his way aright I will show the salvation of God!
51:16 For you have no delight in sacrifice; were I to give a burnt offering, you would not be pleased.
51:17 The sacrifice acceptable to God is a broken spirit; a broken and contrite heart, God, you will not despise.
116:17 I will offer to you the sacrifice of thanksgiving and call on the name of the LORD.
141:2 Let my prayer be considered as incense to you, and the lifting up of my hands as an evening sacrifice!

Proverbs 15:8 The sacrifice of the wicked is an abomination to the LORD, but the prayer of the upright is His delight.
Proverbs 21:3 To do righteousness and justice is more acceptable to the LORD than sacrifice.
Proverbs 21:27 The sacrifice of the wicked is an abomination; how much more when they bring it with evil intent.

Ecclesiastes 5:1 Guard your steps when you go to the house of God; to draw near to listen is better than to offer the sacrifice of fools; for they do not know that they are doing evil.

Isaiah 1:13 Bring no more vain offerings; incense is an abomination to me. New moon and sabbath and the calling of assemblies....I cannot endure iniquity and solemn assembly [with or without communion appetizers].

Jeremiah 23:21 "I did not send the [anti-Law/anti-good-works faith-alone-by-grace-alone] prophets, yet they ran; I did not speak to them, yet they prophesied."

Ezekiel 13:2 "Son of man, prophesy against the prophets of Israel, prophesy and say to those who prophesy out of their own minds: 'Hear the word of the LORD!'
Ezekiel 13:6 They have spoken falsehood and divined a lie; they say: 'Says the LORD,' when the LORD has not sent them, and yet they expect Him to fulfill their word."
Ezekiel 13:17 "And you, son of man, set your face against the daughters of your people, who prophesy out of their own minds; prophesy against them."

Joel 2:15 Blow the trumpet in Zion; sanctify a fast; call a solemn assembly

Amos 5:21 "I hate, I despise your feasts, and I take no delight in your solemn assemblies."

Matthew 15:6 "So, for the sake of your [anti-Law/anti-good-works faith-alone-by-grace-alone] tradition, you have made void the word of God."

Mark 7:8 "You leave the commandment of God, and hold fast the [anti-Law/anti-good-works faith-alone-by-grace-alone] tradition of [heretic] humans.
Mark 7:13 ...thus making void the word of God through your tradition which you perpetuate. And many such things you do."

Romans 2:23 You who boast in the Law, do you dishonor God by breaking the Law?
Romans 10:3 For, being ignorant of the [Law-observant-and-compliant] righteousness that comes from God, and seeking to establish their own [anti-Law/anti-good-works faith-alone-by-grace-alone replacement], they did not submit to God's righteousness.

Holier-than-thou? Better believe it! So what is that to you? Mind your own business, and take the log out of your own eye first!

Matthew 5:20 For I tell you, unless your righteousness exceeds that of the scribes and Pharisees, you will never enter the kingdom of heaven.

How is that done, and what is necessary for that?

(1) by not regarding human-concocted adiaphoric rules-and-regs as righteousness, or harping on and for anti-Law/anti-good-works faith-alone-by-grace-alone heresy nor committing and not performing such, and
(2) claiming Christ's sacrificial death as His righteousness imputed to us penitent and not merely to Himself.

The sayings, admonitions, precepts, and directives of Jesus are, in effect and in actuality: "Law."

We, actually doing such "Law" are, of necessity, rightfully and legitimately considered doing good and not evil works. We actually do and want to do such good works of obeying and not disobeying Law which obviously is not "lawlessness" nor false self-righteousness, nor something that deserves temporal and/or eternal punishment.

Unless a person has the 24/7 intention of perfectly obeying not only Old-Testament moral Law but even more refined New-Testament moral Law, they are not a real Christian, have not authentically been "born anew," are definitely headed for Hell and not Heaven, and the atoning blood of Christ neither justifies, nor sanctifies, nor saves, nor redeems them in their anti-Law/anti-good-works rebellion-intentioned wrongheadedness and defiant disobedience.

Indeed, they - their impudent and arrogant pride - would not want such a humiliating-and-embarrassing-to-them bloody "gift" of "reconciliation" donated to them....with the obvious insinuation and implication that the [so-called-to-them] "sin" they have gleefully done is somehow "wrong" for which they need to feel sorry for and promise to never ever do again.

Everything we do in life while we're awake and not sleeping involves a choice to either do it good or instead do it evil; do it correct or instead do it incorrect; do it right or instead do it wrong. One or the other -- but never both.

Even if threat of punishment is involved in the choice, even if love is not the motivation but instead hate and grudging compliance, it behooves those who want to survive to accommodate to doing the good works of obeying Law.

One might not stop for a stoplight because he or she likes Law and order, wants to kindly share road access with other drivers, and/or wants to avoid being an obstacle to them for their satisfaction and well-being. He or she instead might stop for perhaps-selfish motivation of not allowing cross traffic to smash his or her own car, thus disrupting their tight schedule and inconveniencing them, and/or to avoid getting a ticket for right-of-way violation from a squad-car cop nearby.

People obey and disobey the Law for different motivations and intentions, but what is important for social integration to avoid anarchy and chaos is for all to obey Law for whatever cause, and not simply exhibit and proclaim self-aggrandizing self-promoting "faith" in whatever hocus-pocus superstition is of a religious nature.

Who are the bonafide false prophets and false teachers?

Those who disdain Law, disdain obeying Law, disdain being ordered to obey Law, are arch enemies against humanity and against the Creator Himself. They follow in the deliberately deviant and despicable waywardness of Lucifer and Satan, as they mouth the mantra of "saved by grace through faith apart from works of Law" because they "are already perfected and forgiven for whatever they do and do not do by Christ's righteousness alone."

Unless they have what Paul stated in Romans chapter 7 ("...in my inmost self I delight in the Law of God], instead of in their inmost self NOT delighting the Law of God, they are religious frauds, charlatans, deceivers, liars, and hypocrites -- no matter what claims they make to "by faith alone" self-justification, self-excusing their frequent wicked works by alluding to such anti-Law/anti-good-works heresy.

When Jesus through Paul stated: "Wives, submit in everything to your own husbands" and "in every public place women should have adorned themselves modestly in decent apparel" - such is NOT take-it-or-leave-it mere "suggestion" nor "advice" but instead a military-like Marine-basic-training-bootcamp-similar COMMAND and ORDER to promptly and completely be done without occasional capricious and non-predictable semi-compliance.

Such are COMMANDS . . . ORDERS . . . of either DO it and do it NOW (whenever you have the chance) and go to Heaven....or do not do it now and go to Hell.

It's that simple.

And that is what a TRUE CHRISTIAN RELATIONSHIP with Jesus is based upon and consists of.

Sort of like our relationship with just about everything else in life. Is our watch unfaithful to us at times: sometimes running slow or not at all? Do our car starters, fuel pumps, alternators, and gasoline in the tank sometimes work but sometimes not? Do spark plugs or sunlight or gravity at times not provide because they happen to not feel like it at their whims?

God, by His environmental entities has shown us what completely-consistent, totally-reliable, precise-and-dependable perfection is . . . and wants us to imitate that without making harassed and confused asses of ourselves, others, and Him . . . even though we are often tempted by non-asked-for sinful duress from Satan, demons, and humans allied with them who start problems in the first place.

Does doing good works save us? Will we be content in eternity to always do good works and never any bad ones? Would we want to be in a heaven where a few evil works were done now and then?

A lot of good works in various forms are mentioned in the Old-Testament book of Proverbs, and doing them has significant and life-sustaining rewards, as you remember and recall.

"How many good works must we do to be saved?"

Well, "how short can a woman's skirt be and the woman still be considered modest?"

Those are wrong questions to ask.

Do as many good works as possible - whenever the opportunity to do them arises, and do not instead do evil works at that time. Savvy?

Gals should have dress-length and slacks-length garments down to their ankles whenever in mixed-gender general-public view -- without caving in to the devilish thought of how short they can have it and yet "get away with it."

It behooves them to not be legalistic judaizers and get into artificially approving themselves in selfish craving for supposed sensuous glamor by randomly conniving and exhibiting tiny increments of slacks-or-skirts millimeter-or-centimeter shortness, exhibiting monkey-see-monkey-do manifestation of yellow-and-black shortened-skirt street-sign drawings and images.

Isaiah 47:1 Come down and sit in the dust, virgin daughter of Babylon; sit on the ground without a throne, daughter of the Chaldeans! For you shall no more be called tender and delicate.
Isaiah 47:2 Take the millstones and grind meal, put off your veil, strip off your robe, uncover your legs, pass through the rivers.
Isaiah 47:3 Your nakedness shall be uncovered, and your shame shall be seen. I will take vengeance, and I will spare no human.

Isaiah does not nitpick about millimeter or centimeter trifles and incidentals in the above-quoted legs-baring passage.

Same with toying around concerning length of unbound long hair which simply should be tied into a back-of-head single ponytail or put into an up-do -- without straining at a proverbial gnat but swallowing a proverbial camel.

Numbers 5:18 And the priest shall set the woman [suspected of committing adultery] before the LORD, and unbind the HAIR of the woman's head [or "loosen her HAIR" as the NASB puts it, not: "uncover her HEAD"], and place in her hands the cereal offering of remembrance, which is the cereal offering of jealousy. And in his hand the priest shall have the water of bitterness that brings the [thigh-swelling] curse.

Enticing mopheadedness is reserved for privacy of a husband and bride together - not to be lewdly and luridly displayed as a publicly-observable, sexual-gutter-object, moronic harlot, slut, or whore look-a-like:

Song 7:5 [RSV and NASB - not KJV nor NIV, etc.] Your head crowns you like Carmel, and your FLOWING LOCKS [not simply: "hair"] are like purple; a king is held captive in the tresses.

And why flaunt naked toes with socks-less sandals, living the illusion of being some kind of religious goody-two-shoes mimicking the porno-pervert Sunday-school-book "art" of toes-exposed females mis-dressed in presumed "Bible-times" shortened robes and socks-less sandals -- not SLIPPERS nor LONG robes?

Jeremiah 2:25 Keep your FEET from going UNSHOD and your throat from thirst. But you said: "It is hopeless, for I have loved STRANGERS, and after THEM I will go."

Ditto concerning and not regarding the exhibitionist flaunting of naked ARMS with sleeveslessness for the lame and absurd excuse of "being cool and not sweating" - keeping in mind how fundamentalist islamic women and old-order nuns survive quite comfortably in shawls and robes even during summer warmth.

Second Samuel 13:18 [RSV and NASB - NOT KJV and etc.] Now she was wearing a FULL-LENGTH ROBE WITH LONG SLEEVES [not "multi-colored" robe]; for thus were the virgin daughters of the king traditionally clad. So his servant put her out, and bolted the door after her.

Our job as bonafide Christians is NOT to simply "believe the gospel" and claim forgiveness for everything we do and do not do.

Instead, our Law-abiding and Law-respecting and lawful/non-lawless sacred duty and responsibility - among many other things - is to actually stop completely at every stop sign without impatiently or from-fear-of-tailgaters slowly sliding through such on the fly, and stopping at every stoplight....whether done because of fear, comradery for others around us, or a combination of both. Such stopping is, of necessity, a vital (and absolutely crucial) expression of good and not wicked works -- despite the accursed religious-heretic and religiously-apostate lawophobic and worksophobic who despise references to mandatory Law and doing good not evil works.

The terms "sin," "forgiveness," "redemption," and "salvation" are deplorably meaningless unless defined by Law, and actions related to complying with that Law are and must be considered: good works -- which, intrinsically, are what it means to "do what Jesus wants us to do" consisting of a plethora of you'd-better-do-it-or-else commands and orders and not simply suggestions or recommendations or advice or guidelines from the Lord and Master Himself.

Mark 7:21 For from within, out of the heart of humans, come evil thoughts [of necessity, defined by Law], fornication [of necessity, defined by Law], theft, murder, adultery [of necessity, defined by Law],
Mark 7:22 coveting [of necessity, defined by Law], wickedness, deceit [of necessity, defined by Law], licentiousness [of necessity, defined by Law], envy [of necessity, defined by Law], slander [of necessity, defined by Law], pride, foolishness.
Mark 7:23 All these evil things come from within, and they defile a person."

Romans 13:13 ...let us conduct ourselves becomingly [of necessity, defined by Law] as in the day, not in reveling and drunkenness, not in debauchery [of necessity, defined by Law] and licentiousness [of necessity, defined by Law], not in quarreling [of necessity, defined by Law] and jealousy [of necessity, defined by Law].
Second Corinthians 12:21 I fear that when I come again my God may humble me before you, and I may have to mourn over many of those [faith-alone-by-grace-alone] who sinned [of necessity, defined by Law] before and have not repented of the impurity [of necessity, defined by Law], immorality [of necessity, defined by Law], and licentiousness [of necessity, defined by Law] which they have practiced.
Galatians 5:19 Now the works of the [faith-alone-by-grace-alone] flesh are plain: fornication [of necessity, defined by Law], impurity [of necessity, defined by Law], licentiousness [of necessity, defined by Law],
Ephesians 4:19 they have become [by anti-Law/anti-good-works faith-alone-by-grace-alone] callous and have given themselves up to licentiousness [of necessity, defined by Law], greedy to practice every kind of uncleanness [of necessity, defined by Law].
First Peter 4:3 Let the time that is past suffice for doing what the [anti-Law/anti-good-works faith-alone-by-grace-alone] Gentiles like to do, living in licentiousness [of necessity, defined by Law], passions [of necessity, defined by Law], drunkenness [of necessity, defined by Law], revels [of necessity, defined by Law], carousing [of necessity, defined by Law], and lawless idolatry.
Second Peter 2:2 And many will follow their [anti-Law/anti-good-works faith-alone-by-grace-alone] licentiousness [of necessity, defined by Law], and because of them the way of truth [of necessity, defined by Law] will be reviled.
Jude 1:4 For admission has been secretly gained by some who long ago were designated for this condemnation, godless [anti-Law/anti-good-works faith-alone-by-grace-alone] persons who pervert [of necessity, defined by Law] the grace [of necessity, defined by Law] of our God into licentiousness [of necessity, defined by Law] and deny our only Master and Lord, Jesus Christ.

And what are good works, but simply doing what is right according to the Law and not doing what is wrong according to the Law.

All of what heretofore has been said might be given a momentary nod of sane and chagrined approval and assent, before the baptist (or is it lutheran or methodist or presbyterian or whatever) preachers and/or congregant resume spewing their fear-of-persecution/fear-of-man-based, prejudice-and-mindlessless-engrained, one-sided and heretical "saved by grace alone through faith alone apart from works of law" stinky scummy diarrhea into their smelly underpants over and over and over again.
