"Like" God

Facebook says of itself that: "It's free, and always will be."

Inexpensive, not "cheap."

No wonder it is so popular.

Jewish entrepreneur Mark Zuckerberg of Facebook provides all Facebook users with the option of clicking on the "Like" hotlink associated with this or that posted on their Facebook "pages."

It is not required for users to click on the "Like" hotlink, nor it is a command to do so from Zuckerberg himself - but rather merely an option to click. He does not force whoever to click on the "Like" option regarding or instead concerning whatever. If you ask for it, you'll probably soon get it, so watch out what you ask for. Same with other potential porn-for-all websites, accessible with backdoor access techniques bypassing filters.

Some Facebook users in the past have complained that there is no "Dislike" hotlink to click on concerning (not regarding) what they do not appreciate nor agree with nor want posted on their Facebook webpage. It seems to them that it's either "Like" something, or ignore it (and that's just tough if they do not like it; they cannot do anything about it, so "get used to it and live with it").

Actually, Mark has provided an option to express negativity of users also, with a drop-down menu in the upper right-hand corner of whatever boxed segment is posted, with in-so-many-words choices of "I do not want to see this particular post on my Facebook page anymore" to "never post anything from the source of what I strongly disapprove of ever again."

Facebook managers and I have reached what best can be described as a "Mexican standoff." Every time I have clicked on a "Friend" suggestion they have posted, I have been reprimanded and threatened with temporary to permanent blockage for not first getting permission from whoever they suggested I solicit to then solicit them for the first time. And when I have clicked on suggested interests they have suggested, the sometimes quasi-porno or politically-incorrect trash they then have put all over my Facebook homepage I have rather strongly objected to and requested prompt discontinuance of.

So, I have completely and forever quit innocently soliciting who they wanted me to solicit but did not want me to solicit without first solicited permission from whoever they suggested to solicit, and Facebook staff have counter-solicited me with near-spamlike garbage I had not previously given them explicit permission to post on my Facebook homepage.

They yet do let me post my newest webpage essays on my Facebook homepage in an ongoing log-journal, but which they then, within 24 hours or whatever, remove from my Homepage and bury into my Timeline - a limited number of which sermonette or newsworthy masterpieces stay retrievable for a certain length of time, at their non-predictable/quasi-capricious whims.

It's a win-win situation for both of us.

Which gets us to whether we should "Like" God, or not.

Jesus was an interesting guy. On one hand, He wanted people to recognize Him as, plus consider and call Him: "Lord" (and rewarded such Divinely-called-and-inspired proclaimers with petitioned-for miraculous healings and interventions) -- but on the other hand, He did not want His Lordship identity disclosed (particularly as a result of spectacular miraculous signs and wonders which I guess sort of detracted from pure blind faith, which has-not-seen-and-yet-believes faith clearly was not the case with Doubting Thomas, who verbally required visual and tactile exhibited proof):

Matthew 8:28 And when He came to the other side, to the country of the Gadarenes, two demoniacs met Him, coming out of the tombs, so fierce that no one could pass that way.
8:29 And hey, they bellered out: "What have you to do with us, Son of God? Have you come here to torment us before the time?"
8:30 Now a herd of many pigs were feeding at some distance from them.
8:31 And the demons begged Him: "If you throw us out, send us away into the herd of swine."
8:32 And He said to them: "Go." So they came out and went into the swine; and hey, the whole herd rushed down the steep bank into the sea, and perished in the waters.

Matthew 9:30 And their eyes were opened. And Jesus sternly charged them, "See that no one knows it."
16:20 Then He strictly charged the disciples to tell no one that He was the Christ.
17:9 And as they were coming down the mountain, Jesus commanded them: "Tell no one the vision, until the Son of Man is raised from the dead."

Mark 1:23 And immediately there was in their synagogue a man with an unclean spirit;
1:24 and he blurted out: "What have you to do with us, Jesus of Nazareth? Have you come to destroy us? I know who you are, the Holy One of God."
1:25 But Jesus lambasted him, saying: "Shut up, and come out of him!"
Mark 5:43 And He strictly charged them that no one should know this, and told them to give her something to eat.
7:36 And He charged them to tell no one; but the more He charged them, the more zealously they proclaimed it.
8:30 And He charged them to tell no one about Him.
9:9 And as they were coming down the mountain, He charged them to tell no one what they had seen, until the Son of Man rose from the dead.

Luke 4:33 And in the synagogue there was a man who had the spirit of an unclean demon; and he shouted out with a loud voice,
4:34 "Ah! What have you to do with us, Jesus of Nazareth? Have you come to destroy us? I know who you are, the Holy One of God."
4:35 But Jesus told him off, saying, "Shut up, and come out of him!" And when the demon had thrown him down in the midst, he came out of him, having done him no harm.
4:41 And demons also came out of many, blattering out: "You are the Son of God!" But He rebuked them, and would not allow them to speak, because they knew that He was the Christ.
5:14 And He charged him to tell no one; but "go and show yourself to the priest, and make an offering for your cleansing, as Moses commanded, for a proof to the people."
8:56 And her parents were amazed; but He charged them to tell no one what had happened.
9:21 But He charged and commanded them to tell this to no one.

Acts 16:16 As we were going to the place of prayer, we were met by a [possessed] slave girl who had a spirit of divination and brought her owners much gain by soothsaying.
Acts 16:17 She followed Paul and us, bellering out: "These men are servants of the Most High God, who proclaim to you the way of salvation."
Acts 16:18 And this she did for many days. But Paul was annoyed, and turned and said to the spirit: "I charge you in the name of Jesus Christ to come out of her." And it came out that very hour.

So non-welcomed and adversely-patronizing publicity as to His true identity with that firmly in mind, it is intriguing that Jesus let St Peter get away with it, while the Devil and his ilk deliberately deluded themselves with self-induced doubt:

Matthew 4:3 And The Tempter came and said to Him: "If [not "since"] you are the Son of God, command these stones to become loaves of bread."
4:6 and said to Him, "If [not "since"] you are the Son of God, throw yourself down; for it is written, 'He will give his angels charge of you,' and 'On their hands they will bear you up, lest you strike your foot against a stone.'"
16:16 Simon Peter replied, "You are the Christ, the Son of the living God."
26:63 But Jesus was silent. And the high priest said to Him: "I adjure you by the living God, tell us if you are the Christ, the Son of God."
27:40 ...and saying: "You who would destroy [Gentile-Herod's not Jewish-Solomon's] temple and build it in three days, save yourself! If you are the Son of God, come down from the cross."

Mark 8:29 And He asked them, "But who do you say that I am?" Peter answered Him, "You are the Christ."

Luke 4:3 The devil said to Him: "If you are the Son of God, command this stone to become bread."
4:9 And he took Him to Jerusalem, and set Him on the pinnacle of the temple, and said to Him: "If you are the Son of God, throw yourself down from here...
22:67 "If you are the Christ, tell us." But He said to them, "If I tell you, you will not believe..."
23:37 ...and saying: "If you are the King of the Jews, save yourself!"

John 10:24 So the Jews gathered round Him and said to Him: "How long will you keep us in suspense? If you are the Christ, tell us plainly."
10:24 So the Jews gathered round Him and said to Him: "How long will you keep us in suspense? If you are the Christ, tell us plainly."
11:27 She said to him: "Yes, Lord; I believe that you are the Christ, the Son of God, He who is coming ["is coming?"] into the world."

Even the nobleman who had a near-death son was chided for his mere-words-of-Christ-mistrusting requirements that the Lord physically go to a particular geographical location and, moreover, do it within a certain mandated time:

John 4:46 So He came again to Cana in Galilee, where He had made the water wine. And at Capernaum there was an official whose son was ill.
4:47 When he heard that Jesus had come from Judea to Galilee, he went and begged Him to come down and heal his son, for he was at the point of death.
4:48 Jesus therefore said to him: "Unless you see signs and wonders you will not believe."
4:49 The official said to him, "Sir [not: "Lord" in this case], come down before my child dies."
4:50 Jesus said to him, "Go; your son will live." The man believed the word that Jesus spoke to him, [obeyed the command from the Master Healer - which obedience was both fortunate and required] and went his way.
4:51 As he was going down, his servants met him and told him that his son was living.
4:52 So he asked them the hour when he began to mend, and they said to him, "Yesterday at the seventh hour [approximately 1 p.m.] the fever left him [while he in both complete confidence and exhausted-from-the-long-journey weariness slept overnite at Capernaum?]."
4:53 The father knew that was the hour when Jesus had said to him, "Your son will live"; and he himself believed, and all his household [except for the atheist son who was forced to, and rebel-teenaged agnostic daughter?].

Apparently, there were, even back then, birther questions from network-news-media-goof ignoramuses as to the geneological source and origin of Jesus:

John 7:38 He who believes in me, as the scripture has said: 'Out of his heart shall flow rivers of living water.'
7:39 Now this He said about the Spirit, who those who believed in Him were to receive; for as yet the Spirit had not been given, because Jesus was not yet glorified.
7:40 When they heard these words, some of the people said: "This is really the prophet." [Obama himself said that he was born in Hawaii and not Coast Province General Hospital in Mombasa Kenya, contrary to website proof at http://layleftlayrite.tripod.com]
7:41 Others said: "This is the Christ." But some said, "Is the Christ to come from Galilee? [Was Ted Cruz really born in Canada, whether or not that qualifies him to become President?]
7:42 Has not the scripture said that the Christ is descended from David, and comes from Bethlehem, the village where David was?" [Duh]
7:43 So there was a division among the people over Him.

So, how important is to "believe in Jesus" - whatever the hell that means?

James 2:19 You believe that God is one; you do well. Even the demons believe -- and shudder.

Obviously, demons who begged Jesus to not prematurely torment them (and how did they know about the future prophecy?) "believed" in Jesus.

So, "believing in Jesus" is apparently insufficient, because even satanic pharisees "believed:"

Acts 4:16 ..saying: "What shall we do with these men? For that a notable sign has been performed through them is manifest to all the inhabitants of Jerusalem, and we cannot deny it."

This so-called "belief in Jesus" and "forgiving grace of God through faith not of works" is one of the most diabolical of all satanic excuses to sin that has ever degraded, besieged and inflicted the likes of human existence.

"Believe" in Jesus . . . and thus get a justified-by-faith-and-not-good-works-not-of-ourselves, saved-by-the-blood-of-Jesus, unconditional-love-of-God, always-forgiving-and-reconciling obscene ticket to live like the Devil . . . like infrequently being publicly misdressed immodestly with loose-long-haired mopheadedness, or sleevesless naked arms, or slacksless nude legs, and/or soxless bared feet in summertime sandals. The most vulgar and appalling selection of condemnatory expletives does not even begin to convey the livid and searing righteous anger generated by such despicably-degenerate lurid and lewd manifestations of vile license-to-sin irrationality.

Enter the necessity of Law to properly enlighten the self-sufficiently and self-righteously dull-of-mind as to what legitimate "belief in Jesus" or "trust in Jesus" involves. It goes way beyond the "trust" which demons assuredly have that the Son of God has the authority to, and eventually will, torment them sometime in the not-too-distant future mentioned in the latter chapters of the New-Testament book of Revelation.

With vital and needed definitions of what "works of the flesh are" by referencing back to Old-Testament (and even New-Testament-quoting-Old-Testament) Law, there must be an additional component of the required and mandatory good work of obedience regarding adherence to and compliance with Law:

Luke 6:46 "Why do you call me 'Lord, Lord,' and not do what I tell you?"?

James 2:21 Was not Abraham our father justified by works, when he offered [or tried to offer?] his son Isaac upon the altar?
2:24 You see that a human [be they man or woman of whatever age] is justified by works and not by faith alone.
2:25 And in the same way was not also Rahab the harlot justified by works when she received the messengers and sent them out another way? [which obviously is not a support or call for engaging in Hell-deserving prostitution].
4:17 Whoever knows what is right to do and fails to do it, for him [or her] it is sin.

Whoever presumes that he or she can hang onto their sexist-feminist, pro-homogay/pro-homosodomite, pro-homicidal-abortionist, anti-Biblically-heretic pro-evolution-mythological, pro-anti-Zionist-"palestinian"/antisemitic activist agenda. . . simultaneously rejecting the patriarchal, pro-puritan-pioneer/amish/Catholic-nun/fundamentalist-moslem modesty, pro-childbirth, pro-heterosexual-marriage-only, pro-young-Earth-creationist, pro-Jewish-settlements doctrines of Christ . . . will rather obviously never make it into Heaven.

Such vermin would not and never be happy in a Heaven of Divinely-enforced moral perfection.

Against those who purport differently: Who the fuh are you trying to fool?

Matthew 7:24 "Every one then who hears these words of mine and does them will be like a wise man who built his house upon the rock..."

Matthew 21:31 Which of the two did the will of his father?" They said, "The first." Jesus said to them: "Truly, I say to you, the tax collectors and the harlots go into the kingdom of God instead of you."

Luke 6:47-48 Every one who comes to me and hears my words and does them is like a guy who built his house on rock and not sand..."

First John 1:6 If we say we have fellowship with Him while we walk in [pro-feminist/homogay/abortionist/evolutionist/warm-weather-immodest/antisemitic] darkness, we lie and do not live according to the truth...

Revelation 20:12 And I saw the dead, great and small, standing before the throne, and books were opened. Also another book was opened, which is The Book of Life. And the dead [proverbial "sheep" - both resurrected and raptured, and proverbial "goats" - only resurrected] were judged by what was written in the books, by what they had done [whatever all that includes!].

No mention whatsoever in the above passage of mere "belief in Jesus" or "trust in Jesus," but only the record of good or evil works, based on whatever (which whatever empowerment source, in one sense, does not matter):

Matthew 25:34-46 [paraphrased] Then the King will say to those at his right hand: "Come, blessed of my Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world, because when you ministered to one of the least of these my avowed enemies destined to forever burn in the invisible flames of the Lake of Fire suspended within The Outer Darkness, healing homos with AIDS so they could continue to sexually screw each other, giving irresponsible-slacker bums money to waste on booze and narcotics, visiting impenitent prisoners in jail for raping and cutting up little girls who would do it again if they got out, and clothing naked porn models who did not want to be clothed, and in myriad other ways throwing your scarce pearls before swine and giving sickeningly-perverted dogs what is holy...you did it to me....and you all on my left who did not do all that gross shett, welcome to my Getaway in Glory.

So, being that "belief in Jesus" or "trust in Jesus" is not enough, and non-reliable good works mixed with wicked works are not enough . . . perhaps being commanded to love the Creator either not loved, or instead really is loved down deep underneath it all (for whatever cause) . . . is good enough?

Deuteronomy 7:9 Know therefore that the LORD your God is God, the faithful God who keeps covenant and continuous love with those who love Him and keep His commandments, to a thousand generations...
8:2 And you shall remember all the way which the LORD your God has led you these forty years in the wilderness, that He might humble you, testing you to know what was in your heart, whether you would keep His commandments, or not.
13:4 You shall walk after the LORD your God and fear [i.e. be afraid of, not simply "respect"] Him, and keep His commandments and obey His voice, and you shall serve Him and cleave to Him.
30:11 For this commandment which I command you this day is not too hard for you, neither is it far off.

Joshua 22:5 Take good care to observe the commandment and the Law which Moses the servant of the LORD commanded you, to love the LORD your God, and to walk in all His ways [which obviously are not feminist-sexist nor homo-"gay" nor evolutionist nor abortionist, nor warm-weather immodest, nor antisemitic], and to keep His commandments, and to cleave to him, and to serve Him with all your heart and with all your soul.

First John 2:3 And by this we may be sure that we know Him, if we "keep" His commandments.
3:22 ...and we receive from Him whatever we ask, because we "keep" His commandments and do what pleases Him.
3:24 All who "keep" His commandments reside in Him, and He in them. And by this we know that He resides in us, by the Spirit who He has given us.
5:3 For this is the love of God, that we "keep" His commandments [not vice-versa, or Him keeping our commandments]. And His commandments are not burdensome.

So the ultimate answer is "keeping" a dusty Bible full of commandments around on the shelf, occasionally "observing" how dusty it is, assuming all commandments are yet inside, and thus "keeping His commandments," is enough?

What's that "loving God" thing about? Is that an order which people must obey -- even if they do not like to obey it?

If they reluctantly do that commandment, will they eventually get into eternal Paradise with the Lord and His associates who they might not, or probably would not, be eternally comfortable with?

Can God force them to obey Him (by use of either complying to stimulus-and-response taser shock devices or injected chemicals or electrical probes manipulating their spasmatic muscular movements), and involuntarily love Him if they do not want to? And if they do not want do, why would they not want to, considering how benevolent He had always has been and yet is . . . but also how demanding in requiring their total and complete never-deviated devotion to Him and His always-righteous ways and lifestyle as succinctly laid out in His Holy Bible?

Lo and behold: Isn't it a marvel that a few people here and there actually like Him, like Him being the one and only sovereign Boss of their severely-restricted-to-holy-perfection and eventually-temptation-free dreams and goals and desires, like the sometimes phenomenally-peculiar, worse-than-Garden-of-Eden, dangers of what He has allowed in nature and His environment which directly and seriously affects them, like His humiliating and embarrassing bloody-gospel plan for joyfully-free-conscience atonement and ecstatic redemption in categorizing them as tyrannically-duressed shameful-but-penitently-blessed "sinners," and like His impeccable purity, forthright honesty, and non-compromisingly-strict requirement for them to always be absolutely perfect and holy 24/7 in all they think, say, do . . . and ever will think and say and do?

Click "Like" on the homepage if you like God.

If not, click the X in the upper right-hand corner for the drop-down menu of negative reactions for attempted (but hopelessly futile) deletion. "Whether invoked or not invoked, G-d is present." And to accommodate those who do not invoke Him, nor want to invoke Him, God eventually will forever withdraw everything from them in loving solitary punishment to regretfully languish eternally in the Great Invisibly-Flaming Void. And you thought that black holes were bad.

Relax in peace.
