Oil Spill 2010

Overview

Isa 24:4 The earth mourns and withers, the world languishes and withers; the heavens languish together with the earth.
Isa 33:9 The land mourns and languishes; Lebanon is confounded and withers away; Sharon is like a desert; and Bashan and Carmel shake off their leaves.
Jer 23:10 For the land is full of adulterers; because of the curse the land mourns, and the pastures of the wilderness are dried up. Their course is evil, and their might is not right.
Ho 4:3 Therefore the land mourns, and all who dwell in it languish, and also the beasts of the field, and the birds of the air; and even the fish of the sea are taken away.

Cause?

Mt 13:24 [paraphrased] Another parable He put before them, saying, "The kingdom of heaven may be compared to BP who constructed and operated a dangerous oil-drilling rig in the Gulf;
25 but while men were sleeping, anti-America/anti-Israel anti-fossil-fuel terrorists came, rigged booby traps, and went away.
26 So while the rig was running OK, there was an explosion, and the undersea gusher starting spewing copious amounts of oil into the waters of the Gulf.
27 And the Obama Administration and the media came and said to them, 'Hey BP, did you not intend the oil to stay in pipes leading to the oil tankers? How come it is now polluting the waters of the Gulf, killing fish and birds, bankrupting fisheries and tourist attraction businesses all along the southeastern seaboard of the United States?'
28 BP said to them, 'Hate-America-and-Israel/Blame-Bush-and-Cheney anti-fossil-fuel activists have done this.' The enraged nation said to them, 'Then do you want us to go and stop all drilling and go completely dependent upon Saudi and antisemitic Mideast foreign oil?'
29 But BP said, 'No; lest in stopping all U.S. drilling you endanger America's and Israel's oil-dependent national security.
30 Let oil drilling continue on with stringent and understandably-discriminatory-against-terrorists exclusionary prohibitions, while we all investigate everyone involved in the horribly-devastating environmental disaster; and when we are through doing that, the Obama Administration will determine which drilling should continue where with innovative and thorough security safeguards for acquiring and storing oil safely in American stockpiles, while Obama's law enforcement punishes and destroys the anti-fossil-fuel anti-America anti-Israel terrorist network responsible for the terrible and diabolical harm done against people, property, and wildlife not merely nationally but with international consequences.'"

Addendum

Is 3:10 Tell the righteous that it shall be well with them, for they shall eat the fruit of their works.
11 Woe to the wicked! It shall be ill with him, for what his hands have done shall be done to him.
12 My people: children are their oppressors, and women rule over them. Oh my people, your leaders mislead you, and confuse the course of your paths.

Ec 7:7 Surely oppression makes the wise man foolish, and a bribe corrupts the mind.
8 Better is the end of a thing than its beginning; and the patient in spirit is better than the proud in spirit.
9 Be not quick to anger, for anger lodges in the bosom of fools.
11 Wisdom is good with an inheritance, an advantage to those who see the sun.
12 For the protection of wisdom is like the protection of money; and the advantage of knowledge is that wisdom preserves the life of him who has it.
13 Consider the work of God; who can make straight what he has made crooked?
14 In the day of prosperity be joyful, and in the day of adversity consider; God has made the one as well as the other, so that man may not find out anything that will be after him.
19 Wisdom gives strength to the wise man more than ten rulers that are in a city.
20 Surely there is not a righteous man on earth who does good and never sins.
21 Do not pay attention to all the things that men say, lest you hear your servant cursing you;
22 your heart knows that many times you have yourself cursed others.
24 That which is, is far off, and deep, very deep; who can find it out?
25 I turned my mind to know and to search out and to seek wisdom and the sum of things, and to know the wickedness of folly and the foolishness which is madness.
26 And I found more bitter than death the woman whose heart is snares and nets, and whose hands are fetters; he who pleases God escapes her, but the sinner is taken by her.
27 Hey, this is what I found, says the Preacher, adding one thing to another to find the sum,
28 which my mind has sought repeatedly, but I have not found. One man among a thousand I found, but a woman among all these I have not found.
29 Hey, this alone I found, that God made man upright, but they have sought out many devices.

Na 3:13 Hey, your troops are women in your midst. The gates of your land are wide open to your foes; fire has devoured your [BP oil rig and southeastern-seaboard-coastline environment] bars.

1Ti 2:8 I desire then that in every place the men should pray, lifting holy hands without anger or quarreling;
9 also that women should adorn themselves modestly and sensibly in decent apparel, not with plaited hair or gold or pearls or costly attire
10 but by good deeds, as befits women who profess religion.
11 Let a woman learn in silence with all submissiveness.
12 I allow no woman to teach or to have authority over men; she is to keep silent.
13 For Adam was formed first, then Eve;
14 and Adam was not deceived, but the woman was deceived and became a transgressor.
15 Yet woman will be saved through bearing children, if she continues in faith and love and holiness, with sobriety.
