Only Once

How many times have you heard apostate heretics blatter out or quietly infer something like:

"God will forgive you if you make a little mistake once in a while, but MIGHT hold you accountable if you make it your prolonged obnoxious hangup, and blatantly practice it under certain conditions, without feeling sorry about it."

"So go ahead and loosen that ponytail and let your hair down with mopheadedness, bare your legs with shorts during warm days, sport seasonal short-sleeved or even sleevesless tops, and strike the bare soles of your soxless feet against flip-flops as you walk around in late spring, summer, and early autumn in mixed-gender general public view. After all, it's "just biblical common sense" to avoid "heatstroke" and "get a nice tan" to show off to not be called and shunned as a "square." Besides, don't normal guys like to see that instead of considering that offensive, and isn't that how "the Bible" says women should attract men for romantic relationships and sex?"

Mal 2:8 But you have turned aside from the way; you have caused many to stumble by your instruction; you have corrupted the covenant of Levi, says the LORD of hosts

This webpage author is not sure if the Bible requires one to be either "square" or "round." Perhaps a few Scripture passages would be helpful:

First, being "square:"

Deut 22:12 "You shall make yourself tassels on the four corners of your cloak with which you cover yourself.
Job 1:19 and hey, a great wind came across the wilderness, and struck the four corners of the house, and it fell upon the young people, and they are dead; and I alone have escaped to tell you."
Isa 11:12 He will raise an ensign for the nations, and will assemble the outcasts of Israel, and gather the dispersed of Judah from the four corners of the earth.

Ezek 7:2 "And you, son of man, thus says the Lord GOD to the land of Israel: An end! The end has come upon the four corners of the land.
46:21 Then he brought me forth to the outer court, and led me to the four corners of the court; and in each corner of the court there was a court....

Acts 11:5 I was in the city of Joppa praying; and in a trance I saw a vision, something descending, like a great sheet, let down from heaven by four corners; and it came down to me.

Rev 7:1 After this I saw four angels standing at the four corners of the earth, holding back the four winds of the earth, that no wind might blow on earth or sea or against any tree.
20:8 and will come out to deceive the nations which are at the four corners of the earth, that is, Gog and Magog, to gather them for battle; their number is like the sand of the sea.

In contrast, being "round:"

Isa 22:18 and whirl you round and round, and throw you like a ball into a wide land; there you shall die, and there shall be your splendid chariots, you shame of your master's house.
Eccl 1:6 The wind blows to the south, and goes round to the north; round and round goes the wind, and on its circuits the wind returns.
Ezek 1:18 The four wheels had rims and they had spokes; and their rims were full of eyes round about.
Mark 9:42 Whoever causes one of these little ones who believe in me to sin, it would be better for him if a great millstone were hung round his neck and he were thrown into the sea.
Rev 4:4 Round the throne were twenty-four thrones, and seated on the thrones were twenty-four elders, clad in white garments, with golden crowns upon their heads.

Well....I really can't tell if it is obscene to be "square" or "round," but I would hazard to guess that both have their place.

"What's a little harmless "sexy" immodesty now and then in accord with the pseudo-"legal" "provocatively-respectable" adulterous-affairs-inciting playboy immentality of pervert bastards and bitches around us? So what if we are tempted to self-sodomizingly masturbate to sensuously-mopheaded glamor-girl-twit talking-head seductresses on cable TV shows and commercials? No one in their tolerant right mind would presume the haplessly duressed would go to hell for merely that - God is way too broadminded, forgiving, tolerant, and merciful to allow the wicked into Heaven without letting them doing a little mischief now and then Up There to break the always-perfectly-holier-than-thou monotony. Right?"

"Now, if girls have a deliberate and malicious proclivity or relentless pattern of wanting to sexually harass obviously-non-soliciting male humans, THAT might be another thing. Maybe. After all, women rule."(?)

"So many things in life are like that: a person is only human who makes many many mistakes during their life, and fools are free to flaunt a little daring immodest things once in a while which don't really hurt anyone and especially don't impair anyone significantly - if at all."(?)

Are the following some examples of such?

Consider spraying one's face with military-arsenal nerve gas, grabbing the main terminals of the largest high-voltage transformer in a substation, lighting and inserting a stick of TNT or loaded revolver in one's mouth and pulling the trigger....DOES one always gets a second chance and maybe a third chance after that to do it again if one perhaps regrets doing it later on?

Similar to such is holding up a bank and shooting a teller dead, raping and beheading a toddler, or speeding through a red stoplight and getting smashed by a crossing vehicle.....then getting pulled over by flashing red-and-blue strobelights in the rear view mirror, and telling the enraged cop: "Oh, I don't do this very often, and don't make a habit of it. Sort of like when occasionally I jump off the bridge at Royal Gorge Colorado without a parachute or whatever and auger my bloody guts onto the rocks a thousand feet below. But I do not make a lifestyle pattern out of any of these things. God is gracious, and is rife and reeking with disgustingly-wimpish Unconditional Love."

The plethoria of these Scripture verses:

Gen 3:4 But the serpent said to the woman, "You will not die." (And Eve did live on to be ousted out of The Garden and birth a couple of sons).

Rom 6:1 What shall we say then? Are we to continue in(?) sin that grace may abound?
Rom 6:17 But thanks be to God, that you who were once(?) slaves of sin have become obedient from the heart to the standard of teaching to which you were committed.
Rom 6:19 I am speaking in human terms, because of your natural limitations. For just as you once yielded(?) your members to impurity and to greater and greater iniquity, so now yield your members to righteousness for sanctification.
Rom 7:9 I was once alive(?) apart from the law, but when the commandment came, sin revived and I died;
Rom 11:30 Just as you were once(?) disobedient to God but now have received mercy because of their disobedience....

II Cor 5:16 From now on, therefore, we regard no one from a human point of view; even though we once regarded(?) Christ from a human point of view, we regard him thus no longer.

Gal 4:9 but now that you have come to know God, or rather to be known by God, how can you turn back again(?) to the weak and beggarly elemental spirits, whose slaves you want to be once more?
Gal 1:23 they only heard it said, "He who once(?) persecuted us is now preaching the faith he once tried to destroy."

Eph 2:3 Among these we all once lived(?) in the passions of our flesh, following the desires of body and mind, and so we were by nature children of wrath, like the rest of mankind.
Eph 2:13 But now in Christ Jesus you who once were(?) far off have been brought near in the blood of Christ.
Eph 5:8 for once you were(?) darkness, but now you are light in the Lord; walk as children of light.

Col 1:21 And you, who once were(?) estranged and hostile in mind, doing evil deeds,
22 he has now reconciled in his body of flesh by his death, in order to present you holy and blameless and irreproachable before him,
23 provided that you continue in the faith, stable and steadfast, not shifting from the hope of the gospel(?) which you heard, which has been preached to every creature under heaven, and of which I, Paul, became a minister.

Col 3:7 In these you once walked, when you lived in them(?).

So, you did it all previously....and you're still alive and well to gossip and brag about it....so go ahead and lasciviously loosen that ponytail to let "cover"-girl hair hang down in mixed-gender general public view, bare those naked arms with sleeveslessness, expose those nude legs with summer shorts, and flaunt those soxless feet with open-toe sandals! What the hell? You will(?) get away with it - as you of course have done before(?) - congruent with the always-a-second-chance(?) verses above clearly indicate!?

But do those verses above seem to directly contradict the import and intent of the following other Scripture verses:

Matt 12:31 Therefore I tell you, every sin and blasphemy will be forgiven men, but the blasphemy against the Spirit will not be forgiven.
Matt 12:32 And whoever says a word against the Son of man will be forgiven; but whoever speaks against the Holy Spirit will not be forgiven, either in this age or in the age to come.

Matt 21:20 When the disciples saw it they marveled, saying, "How did the fig tree wither at once?"

Luke 13:25 When once the householder has risen up and shut the door, you will begin to stand outside and to knock at the door, saying, 'Lord, open to us.' He will answer you, 'I do not know where you come from.'
Luke 16:26 And besides all this, between us and you a great chasm has been fixed, in order that those who would pass from here to you may not be able, and none may cross from there to us.'

Acts 5:4 While it remained unsold, did it not remain your own? And after it was sold, was it not at your apportionment? How is it that you have contrived this deed in your heart? You have not lied to men but to God."
5 When Ananias heard these words, he fell down and died. And great fear came upon all who heard of it.
6 The young men rose and wrapped him up and carried him out and buried him.
7 After an interval of about three hours his wife came in, not knowing what had happened.
8 And Peter said to her, "Tell me whether you sold the land for so much." And she said, "Yes, for so much."
9 But Peter said to her, "How is it that you have agreed together to tempt the Spirit of the Lord? Listen up! The feet of those that have buried your husband are at the door, and they will carry you out."
10 Immediately she fell down at his feet and died. When the young men came in they found her dead, and they carried her out and buried her beside her husband.
11 And great fear came upon the whole church, and upon all who heard of these things.

Heb 12:17 For you know that afterward, when he desired to inherit the blessing, he was rejected, for he found no chance to repent, though he sought it with tears.

Rev 20:15 and if any one's name was not found written in the book of life, he was thrown into the lake of fire.
Rev 21:8 But as for the cowardly, the faithless, the polluted, as for murderers, fornicators, sorcerers, idolaters, and all liars, their lot shall be in the lake that burns with fire and sulphur, which is the second death."

One wonders if the following two verses of Scripture speak of "sin" in the plural or instead the singular:

Heb 10:26 For if we sin deliberately after receiving the knowledge of the truth, there no longer remains a sacrifice for sins,
27 but a fearful prospect of judgment, and a fury of fire which will consume the adversaries.
28 A man who has violated the law of Moses dies without mercy at the testimony of two or three witnesses.

I John 3:4 Every one who commits sin is guilty of lawlessness; sin is lawlessness.
I John 3:8 He who commits sin is of the devil; for the devil has sinned from the beginning. The reason the Son of God appeared was to destroy the works of the devil.
I John 3:9 No one born of God commits sin; for God's nature resides in him, and he cannot sin because he is born of God.

I John 5:16 If any man see his brother sin a sin which is not to death, he shall ask and He shall give him life, for those who sin not to death. There is a sin to death. I do not say that he should pray about that.

Many times, as previously pointed out, one's first-time sin is and becomes one's mortal last-time sin....whether involving career-trashing job or occupation loss, irreparable acquisition of accidental or deliberate injury resulting in crippling or paralyzing handicap or soon-fatal disease, or overtly criminal acts leading to lifetime incarceration in state or federal prison, capital crimes punished by execution with lethal injection or hanging, whatever.

Prov 29:1 He who is often reproved, yet stiffens his neck, will suddenly be broken beyond healing.....

.....plainly another manifestation of God's "unconditional love"(?) -- after only a few "minor" "harmless" flings and frolic of selfishly-exhibit-the-body-parts seasonal conformity and even "trying- something-new-and-different" "fun" -- to avoid "boredom" and not being rudely chastised by despicably-demented immodesty-suggestive vile-filth tempters for "not being a square."

It behooves us all to remember how non-inclusively and extremely-discriminatory God/Christ the Creator was concerning the Worldwide Flood of Noah's time. Once the LORD made His pre-voyage speech to Noah about only 8 people on Earth being allowed into The Ark, that was ALL, that was IT -- NO one else was qualified nor could be qualified to board the Ark. There was no standby. No late reservations. No extra passengers, and no stowaways. Perhaps the to-be-drowned-and-already-accursed others reviled Noah et al as "a wacky old man" with "nutcase kids" building an ark in a desert where it never had rained, then perhaps they screamed and clawed for sealed-Ark entrance and passage when it dawned on them that the rising Flood was not going to cease nor abate. But it was way too late, and had been so since God's determined statement of catastrophic and phenomenally-exclusionary warning to Noah before the water burst forth from the sky and from underneath the ground.

And then comes the severe frigidity of frostbite-danger winter to those practically no longer safely able to sadistically and mindlessly tantalize the male victims they are not married to and do not intend to marry....a much-welcomed time-out away from their typical indifferently-careless imposition of ridiculous, non-asked-for, non-appreciated, perpetually-stuck-in-a-seasonal-rut, noxiously-irritating, partially-indecent, here-we-go-again immodesty.

In the subzero freeze, they now deceptively dress modestly of necessity -- but their inner desire to again harass starting in mid-spring with scanty-clothes immodesty has not gone away, been obliterated, nor changed in the slightest nor in any way.

They temporarily have to dress up to survive, to regretfully and lamentably postpone their lurid craving (with weather complaints bemoaned from pouting sexist mouths) lamenting absence of terroristic capacity to defile with their exhibitionism of exposed naked arms, nude legs, and bared feet...for the time being suppressing their hellbent obsession to irreligiously and defiantly corrupt as many people as possible as long as possible on their way to Hell.

Prov 4:16 For they cannot sleep unless they have done wrong; they are robbed of sleep unless they have made some one stumble.

Scripture comes to our rescue to help us discern their now-very-modestly-attired deception:

I Sam 16:7 But the LORD said to Samuel, "Do not look on his appearance or on the height of his stature, because I have rejected him; for the LORD sees not as man sees; man looks on the outward appearance, but the LORD looks on the heart."

Jer 50:32 The proud one shall stumble and fall, with none to raise [her] up, and I will kindle a fire in [her] cities, and it will devour all that is round about [her].

Matt 23:27 Woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for you are like whitewashed tombs, which outwardly appear beautiful, but within they are full of dead men's bones and all uncleanness.

Matt 7:15 Beware of false prophets, who come to you in sheep's clothing but inwardly are ravenous wolves.

Matt 7:16 You will know them by their fruits. Are grapes gathered from thorns, or figs from thistles?
Matt 7:20 Thus you will know them by their fruits.

Matt 23:28 So you also outwardly appear righteous to men, but within you are full of hypocrisy and iniquity.

As Leah along with Laban non-bigamously/polygamously deceived Jacob by pretending to be Rachel on her wedding night, so deception is possible with the simplistically naiive:

Gen 29:25 And in the morning, hey, it was Leah; and Jacob said to Laban, "What is this you have done to me? Did I not serve with you for Rachel? Why then have you deceived me?"

I Sam 19:17 Saul said to Michal, "Why have you deceived me thus, and let my enemy go, so that he has escaped?" And Michal answered Saul, "He said to me, 'Let me go; why should I kill you?'"

I Sam 28:12 When the [medium of Endor] saw Samuel, she cried out with a loud voice; and the woman said to Saul, "Why have you deceived me? You are Saul."

Job 12:16 With Him are strength and wisdom; the deceived and the deceiver are His.

Jer 20:10 For I hear many whispering. Terror is on every side! "Denounce him! Let us denounce him!" say all my familiar friends, watching for my fall. "Perhaps he will be deceived, then we can overcome him, and take our revenge on him."
Jer 38:22 Hey, all the women left in the house of the king of Judah were being led out to the princes of the king of Babylon and were saying, 'Your trusted friends have deceived you and prevailed against you; now that your feet are sunk in the mire, they turn away from you.'
Jer 49:16 The horror you inspire has deceived you, and the pride of your heart, you who live in the clefts of the rock, who hold the height of the hill. Though you make your nest as high as the eagle's, I will bring you down from there, says the LORD.

Lam 1:19 I called to my lovers but they deceived me; my priests and elders perished in the city, while they sought food to revive their strength.

Ezek 14:9 And if the prophet be deceived and speak a word, I, the LORD, have deceived that prophet, and I will stretch out My hand against him, and will destroy him from the midst of My people Israel.

Obad 1:3 The pride of your heart has deceived you, you who live in the clefts of the rock, whose dwelling is high, who say in your heart, "Who will bring me down to the ground?"
7 All your allies have deceived you, they have driven you to the border; your confederates have prevailed against you; your trusted friends have set a trap under you--there is no understanding of it.

Rom 14:21 it is right not to eat meat or drink wine or [wear] anything that makes your brother stumble.

II Cor 11:3 But I am afraid that as the serpent deceived Eve by his cunning, your thoughts will be led astray from a sincere and pure devotion to Christ.

I Tim 2:14 and Adam was not deceived, but the woman was deceived and became a transgressor.

II Tim 3:13 while evil men and impostors will go on from bad to worse, deceivers and deceived.

Rev 19:20 And the beast was captured, and with it the false prophet who in his presence had worked the signs by which he deceived those who had received the mark of the beast and those who worshiped his image. These two were thrown alive into the lake of fire that burns with sulphur.
Rev 20:10 and the devil who had deceived them was thrown into the lake of fire and sulphur where the beast and the false prophet were, and they will be tormented day and night to the ages of the ages.

By now it should be clear and obvious to the reader that what this webauthor is objecting to has nothing to do with clothing colors, or type of material (as to whether cotton, polyester, wool, etc.), or even designs engraved within whatever clothing. He does not even care if legs are fully covered by non-tight slacks or full-length non-slitted skirt. A business-suit topcoat for professional women is just as good as a long-sleeved summer blouse to him, and boots worn over bare feet are as adequate as socks worn with penny loafers.

The point is to have what Saint Paul would call "unpresentable parts" covered (in view of RSV's and NASV's Numbers 5:18, II Samuel 13:18, Proverbs 5:19 (KJV and NASV), Isaiah 3:17, 20:4, 47:1-3, and Jeremiah 2:25 refers to in accord with First Timothy 2:8-9).

I Cor 12:23 and those parts of the body which we think less honorable we invest with the greater honor, and our unpresentable parts are treated with greater modesty,
24 which our more presentable parts do not require. But God has so composed the body, giving the greater honor to the inferior part,
25 that there may be no discord in the body, but that the members may have the same care for one another.
26 If one member suffers, all suffer together; if one member is honored, all rejoice together.

Lack of such consistent and reliable covering....year-round.....when in mixed-gender general public view, could be described with the acronymn MSSS (meaning Mopheaded or Sleevesless or Slacksless or Soxless), and if the epistle writer Saint Paul and the Holy Spirit allow me to liberally paraphrase certain Biblical passages to prove my point, read on:

Rom 14:13 Then let us no more pass judgment on one another, but rather decide never to put a MSSS stumbling block or hindrance in the way of a brother.
14 I know and am persuaded in the Lord Jesus that MSSS is [not] unclean in itself; but it is unclean for any one who thinks it unclean.
15 If your brother is being injured by [your] MSSS, you are no longer walking in love. Do not let MSSS cause the ruin of one for whom Christ died.
16 So do not let your good be spoken of as evil.
17 For the kingdom of God is not MSSS but righteousness and peace and joy in the Holy Spirit;
18 she who thus serves Christ is acceptable to God and approved by [modesty-appreciating] men.
19 Let us then pursue what makes for peace and for mutual upbuilding.
20 Do not, for the sake of MSSS, destroy the work of God. Everything is indeed clean, but it is wrong for any one to make others fall by [inappropriate, out-of-place] MSSS;
21 it is right to not do MSSS or do anything that makes your brother stumble.
22 The faith that you have, keep between yourself and God; happy is she who has no reason to judge herself for what she approves.
23 But she who has doubts [about imposing non-solicited MSSS] is condemned, if she [imposes] MSSS, because she does not act from faith; for whatever does not proceed from faith is sin.

I Cor 8:8 MSSS will not commend us to God. We are no worse off if we do MSSS, and no better off if we do.
9 Only take care lest this liberty of publicly doing MSSS somehow become a stumbling block to the weak.
10 For if any red-blooded male sees you, a woman of knowledge, publicly doing MSSS, might he not be encouraged, if his conscience is weak, to be sexually defiled?
11 And so by your "it's-a-free-country" liberty, this weak man is destroyed, the brother for whom Christ died.
12 Thus, sinning against your brothers and wounding their conscience when it is weak, you sin against Christ.
13 Thus, if MSSS is a cause of your brother's falling, never publicly do MSSS, lest you cause your brother to fall.
