Pacifism?

Does The Bible support anti-war pacifism?
How about capital punishment, rather than simply life-sentence imprisonment?
Is Scripture in favor of restricting gun ownership and carrying of concealed or non-concealed handguns?

One question at a time, please. Let not barrage ourselves with rapid-fire multi-questioning interrogation like accusatory heretics and those of false cults.

Let's take the life-sentence imprisonment vs. capital-punishment (i.e. execution) issue first.

First off, so-called "life-sentence imprisonment" means absolutely nothing if there are possibilities of: plea-bargaining, parole, and/or pardon by criminal!-lawyer intervention. True justice is simply not served by such. Or, if the murderous criminal gets out by jailbreak or bribe, he usually goes out and around to perpetuate more of the dastardly devastation he was put into prison in the first place:

Proverbs 19:19 A man of great wrath will pay the penalty; for if you deliver him, you will only have to do it again.

Some might argue that execution does not permanently solve problems either, because there are always a new breed of deviate criminals who PRESUME that they (unlike others who failed and got caught) can get away with THEIR OWN particular techniques and circumstances of commiting their criminal act.

Also, execution does not bring back the murdered dead nor comprise an adequate personal-loss compensation or restoration.

Finally, when the demonic who have committed capital offenses are executed, the demons merely leave that dead body and go to infest others yet alive who then commit similar crimes. So where is the overall improvement?

The answer to such objections stated above is - first and foremost - that Scripture commands executioners to execute those who have committed Biblically-specified capital offenses withut any ifs nor ands nor buts......whether anyone thinks such execution accomplishes anything or not. After all, Father knows best:

Exodus 21:12 "Whoever strikes a man so that he dies shall be put to death.

Exodus 22:3 "If a thief is found breaking in, and is struck so that he dies, there shall be no bloodguilt for him....

Deuteronomy 19:5 .....when a man goes into the forest with his neighbor to cut wood, and his hand swings the axe to cut down a tree, and the head [accidently] slips from the handle and strikes his neighbor so that he dies, he can flee [to a City of Refuge]......

Hebrews 10:28 A man who has violated the law of Moses dies without mercy at the testimony of two or three witnesses.

Secondly, it should be obvious that the executed criminal will never be a repeat offender.....so plea-bargaining, parole, pardon, jailbreak are never options to worry about.

Thirdly, (among the sane and sensible who understand and accept the fact), execution is definitely a deterrent and warning to future potential criminals, causing some nondeniable degrees of prevention.

Numbers 26:10 and the earth opened its mouth and swallowed them up together with Korah, when that company died, when the fire devoured two hundred and fifty men; and they became a WARNING.

Ezekiel 3:18 If I say to the wicked, 'You shall surely die,' and you give him no WARNING, nor speak to warn the wicked from his wicked way, in order to save his life, that wicked man shall die in his iniquity; but his blood I will require at your hand.
Ezekiel 3:21 Nevertheless if you warn the righteous man not to sin, and he does not sin, he shall surely live, because he took WARNING; and you will have saved your life."

First Corinthians 10:11 Now these things happened to them as a WARNING, but they were written down for our instruction, upon whom the end of the ages has come.

Colossians 1:28 Him we proclaim, WARNING every man and teaching every man in all wisdom, that we may present every man mature in Christ.

The Superman, Batman, and Lone Ranger TV series and theater movies have been and yet are irritatingly devoid of needed execution against the bad guys. In the mindless attempt to prevent so-called "retaliatory and retributional violence," the genocidal criminals in such obnoxious media pieces are merely temporarily imprisoned.....only to escape and again wreak genocidal terrorism, devastation, and murder against hapless victims. Such would not have been the case, had the murderous criminals been promptly executed, as Scripture requires.

Contrast the satanic executionless media garbage previously mentioned with the satisfying, righteous, understandable, and socially-beneficial executions in Clint Eastwood, John Wayne, Schwartzenegger, and Charles Bronson movies!

Accursed pseudo-"lovingly-tolerant" wimpish fools (yes: fools!) insanely and damnably forgive everyone of everything no matter what they have done....and/or despicably presume (not "assume") that capital criminals should be given "a chance to repent and reform." Such diabolical goofs playing God who give self-appointed unconditional absolution and clemency have absolutely NO sense of genuine justice whatsoever!

A careful and thorough reading of both the [violent] history of righteous, legitimate, necessary, and understandable executions recorded in the Old Testament and even the New Testament should completely and forever shut the mouths of all anti-Scriptural forgive-everyone-of-everything pacifists!

Misinterpreting and misapplying Bible verses, heretics hang onto the following to their own and every else's pathetic demise:

Matthew 5:39 But I say to you, Do not resist one who is evil. But if any one strikes you on the right cheek, turn to him the other also;
44 But I say to you, Love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you,
45 so that you may be sons of your Father who is in heaven; for he makes his sun rise on the evil and on the good, and sends rain on the just and on the unjust.

Funny, I thought that:

First Samuel 2:9 He will guard the feet of his faithful ones; but the wicked shall be cut off in darkness; for not by might shall a man prevail.

Psalm 139:21 Do I not hate them that hate thee, O LORD? And do I not loathe them that rise up against thee?
Psalm 139:22 I hate them with perfect hatred; I count them my enemies.

Proverbs 10:30 The righteous will never be removed, but the wicked will not dwell in the land.
Proverbs 11:5 The righteousness of the blameless keeps his way straight, but the wicked falls by his own wickedness.

Malachi 3:18 Then once more you shall distinguish between the righteous and the wicked, between one who serves God and one who does not serve him.

Well, IS the Lord injustly indiscriminate, or not? SHOULD we have not have violently retaliated against the japs who violently bombed Pearl Harbor? If not, would we all by now be worshipping Shinto ancestors and bowing down to the imperialist jap emperor? SHOULD the Allies have not violently stopped the violent antisemitic Nazis during WW II? If not, would we all by now be wearing swastikas, heiling the Fuehrer, and trying to conserve energy and lower gas prices by burning jews in concentration-camp ovens across America? SHOULD a cop violently shoot dead a violent genocidal maniac relentlessly spraying gunfire everywhere? The answer to the prospect of non-tolerant, non-wimpish, never-forgive-everyone-of-everything violent justice is:

Romans 13:4 .....if you do wrong, be afraid, for he does not bear the sword in vain; he is the servant of God to execute his wrath on the wrongdoer.

Now, regarding the Second Amendment:

There is nothing special, magical, nor sacred about firearms. They make loud, distracting, attention-getting, and obnoxious noises when discharged.....though the accurate conveyance of a high-velocity metal projectile can of course be quite lethal, depending upon what human body part such rips into, causing death or instead crippling injury and disability.

Much safer ways to avoid fatal mortality are:

Proverbs 3:30 Do not contend with a man for no reason, when he has done you no harm.

Proverbs 15:1 A soft answer turns away wrath, but a harsh word stirs up anger.

Proverbs 22:3 A prudent man sees danger and hides himself; but the simple go on, and suffer for it.
Proverbs 27:12 A prudent man sees danger and hides himself; but the simple go on, and suffer for it.

Proverbs 27:8 Like a bird that strays from its nest, is a man who strays from his home.

Proverbs 30:33 For pressing milk produces curds, pressing the nose produces blood, and pressing anger produces strife.

A security guard who has possession of crucial keys to lock and unlock doors has another type of not-as-noisy-as-firearms weapon:

Revelation 3:7 "And to the angel of the church in Philadelphia write: 'The words of the holy one, the true one, who has the key of David, who opens and no one shall shut, who shuts and no one opens.....

Indeed, the list of non-noisy weaponry does not end there:

Exodus 17:4 So Moses cried to the LORD, "What shall I do with this people? They are almost ready to stone me."

Exodus 21:18 "When men quarrel and one strikes the other with a stone or with his fist and the man does not die but keeps his bed,
Exodus 21:19 then if the man rises again and walks abroad with his staff, he that struck him shall be clear; only he shall pay for the loss of his time, and shall have him thoroughly healed.

Numbers 16:32 and the earth opened its mouth and swallowed them up, with their households and all the men that belonged to Korah and all their goods.

Judges 3:21 And Ehud reached with his left hand, took the sword from his right thigh, and thrust it into his belly.....

Judges 4:21 But Jael the wife of Heber took a tent peg, and took a hammer in her hand, and went softly to him and drove the peg into his temple, till it went down into the ground, as he was lying fast asleep from weariness. So he died.
Judges 4:22 And behold, as Barak pursued Sisera, Jael went out to meet him, and said to him, "Come, and I will show you the man whom you are seeking." So he went in to her tent; and there lay Sisera dead, with the tent peg in his temple.
Judges 5:26 She put her hand to the tent peg and her right hand to the workmen's mallet; she struck Sisera a blow, she crushed his head, she shattered and pierced his temple.

Judges 9:53 And a certain woman threw an upper millstone upon Abimelech's head, and crushed his skull.

Judges 15:15 And he found a fresh jawbone of an ass, and put out his hand and seized it, and with it he slew a thousand men.
Judges 15:17 When he had finished speaking, he threw away the jawbone out of his hand; and that place was called Ramathlehi.

Judges 19:29 And when he entered his house, he took a knife, and laying hold of his concubine he divided her, limb by limb, into twelve pieces, and sent her throughout all the territory of Israel.

Second Samuel 11:21 Who killed Abimelech the son of Jerubbesheth? Did not a woman cast an upper millstone upon him from the wall, so that he died at Thebez? Why did you go so near the wall?' then you shall say, 'Your servant Uriah the Hittite is dead also.'"

First Kings 22:34 But a certain man drew his bow at a venture, and struck the king of Israel between the scale armor and the breastplate; therefore he said to the driver of his chariot, "Turn about, and carry me out of the battle, for I am wounded."
Second Chronicles 18:33 But a certain man drew his bow at a venture, and struck the king of Israel between the scale armor and the breastplate; therefore he said to the driver of his chariot, "Turn about, and carry me out of the battle, for I am wounded."

Second Kings 1:9 Then the king sent to him a captain of fifty men with his fifty. He went up to Elijah, who was sitting on the top of a hill, and said to him, "O man of God, the king says, 'Come down.'"
Second Kings 1:10,12 But Elijah answered the captain of fifty, "If I am a man of God, let fire come down from heaven and consume you and your fifty." Then fire came down from heaven, and consumed him and his fifty.
Second Kings 1:13 Again the king sent the captain of a third fifty with his fifty. And the third captain of fifty went up, and came and fell on his knees before Elijah, and entreated him, "O man of God, I pray you, let my life, and the life of these fifty servants of yours, be precious in your sight.
Second Kings 1:15 Then the angel of the LORD said to Elijah, "Go down with him; do not be afraid of him." So he arose and went down with him to the king.....

Second Kings 9:33 He said, "Throw her down." So they threw her down; and some of her blood spattered on the wall and on the horses, and they trampled on her.

Job 20:16 He will suck the poison of asps; the tongue of a viper will kill him.

Psalm 11:6 On the wicked he will rain coals of fire and brimstone; a scorching wind shall be the portion of their cup.

Psalm 46:9 He makes wars cease to the end of the earth; he breaks the bow, and shatters the spear [or SAM missiles?], he burns the chariots [or Sherman tanks?] with fire!

Proverbs 23:2 and put a knife to your throat if you are a man given to appetite.

Jeremiah 6:23 They lay hold on bow and spear, they are cruel and have no mercy, the sound of them is like the roaring sea; they ride upon horses, set in array as a man for battle, against you, O daughter of Zion!"
Jeremiah 50:42 They lay hold of bow and spear; they are cruel, and have no mercy. The sound of them is like the roaring of the sea; they ride upon horses, arrayed as a man for battle against you, O daughter of Babylon!

Matthew 18:6 but whoever causes one of these little ones who believe in me to sin, it would be better for him to have a great millstone fastened round his neck and to be drowned in the depth of the sea.

Matthew 27:5 And throwing down the pieces of silver in the temple, he departed; and he went and hanged himself.

Mark 5:13 So he gave them leave. And the unclean spirits came out, and entered the swine; and the herd, numbering about two thousand, rushed down the steep bank into the sea, and were drowned in the sea.

John 19:34 But one of the soldiers pierced his side with a spear, and at once there came out blood and water.

Acts 5:5 When Ananias heard these words, he fell down and died. And great fear came upon all who heard of it.
Acts 5:10 Immediately she fell down at his feet and died. When the young men came in they found her dead, and they carried her out and buried her beside her husband.

Acts 12:23 Immediately an angel of the Lord smote him, because he did not give God the glory; and he was eaten by worms and died.

James 3:8 but no human being can tame the tongue--a restless evil, full of deadly poison.

Second Peter 2:6 ....by turning the cities of Sodom and Gomorrah to ashes he condemned them to extinction and made them an example to those who were to be ungodly....

Speaking a non-noisy swords, let's see what Jesus said about being armed.....whether with a .357 Magnum pistol, a .44 revolver or automatic handgun, an AK-47 or Uzi or Browning Automatic Rifle, or swords:

Luke 22:38 And they said, "Look, Lord, here are two swords." And he said to them, "It is enough.

Remember that .22/.38 caliber gun-rights verse reference in Luke.

WHAT did Christ mean when he stated: "It is enough?" Did He mean: "ENOUGH of such temptation to murderous violence by having any swords [or loaded guns?] around and available!.....or instead: "That should do it. You guys are now sufficiantly armed, should the need arise?" The need seemed to arise for Peter:

Matthew 26:51 And behold, one of those who were with Jesus stretched out his hand and drew his sword, and struck the slave of the high priest, and cut off his ear.
Mark 14:47 But one of those who stood by drew his sword, and struck the slave of the high priest and cut off his ear.
John 18:10 Then Simon Peter, having a sword, drew it and struck the high priest's slave and cut off his right ear. The slave's name was Malchus.

Protective security in action? The response from Jesus:

Matthew 26:52 Then Jesus said to him, "Put your sword back into its place; for all who take the sword will perish by the sword.

Oh oh. Looks like Jesus goofed on that one, inferring that all those in the past, present, and future who took, take, and will take the sword [or guns?] will die by the sword [or guns?], including:

First Samuel 15:33 And Samuel said, "As your sword has made women childless, so shall your mother be childless among women." And Samuel hewed Agag in pieces before the LORD in Gilgal.

First Samuel 17:51 Then David ran and stood over the Philistine, and took his sword and drew it out of its sheath, and killed him, and cut off his head with it. When the Philistines saw that their champion was dead, they fled.

To my knowledge, neither Samuel nor David ever perished by the sword themselves.

How many thousands of American soldiers sniped and mowed down enemy combatants during the wars Americans fought.....and were never ever gunned down themselves, but merely died peacefully of natural causes? How about the many police and sheriffs who have gunned down genocidal maniacs spraying gunfire all around.....but which police and sheriffs never themselves died by gunfire but instead by mere diseases, accidents, or natural causes?

Clarification of Christ's words is, of course, of utmost importance.
