31 "You saw, king, and hey, a great image. This image, mighty and of exceeding brightness, stood before you, and its appearance was frightening.
32 The head of this image was of fine gold, its breast and arms of silver, its belly and thighs of bronze,
33 its legs of iron, its feet partly of iron and partly of clay.
34 As you looked, a stone was cut out by no human hand, and it struck the image on its feet of iron and clay, and broke them in pieces;
35 then the iron, the clay, the bronze, the silver, and the gold, all together were broken in pieces, and became like the chaff of the summer threshing floors; and the wind carried them away, so that not a trace of them could be found. But the stone that struck the image became a great mountain and filled the whole earth.
36 This was the dream; now we will tell the king its interpretation.
37 You, king - a king of kings - to whom the God of Heaven has given the kingdom, the power, and the might, and the glory,
38 and into whose hand He has given, wherever they reside, the sons of men, the beasts of the field, and the birds of the air, making you rule over them all . . . you are the head of gold.
39 After you shall arise another kingdom inferior to you, and yet a third kingdom of bronze, which shall rule over all the earth.
40 And there shall be a fourth kingdom [military Rome, or the catholic Roman Empire?], strong as iron, because iron breaks to pieces and shatters all things; and like iron which crushes, it shall break and crush all these.
41 And as you saw the feet and toes partly of potter's clay and partly of iron, it shall be a divided kingdom; but some of the firmness of iron shall be in it, just as you saw iron mixed with the miry clay.
42 And as the toes of the feet were partly iron and partly clay, so the kingdom shall be partly strong and partly brittle.
43 As you saw the iron mixed with miry clay, so they will mix with one another in marriage, but they will not hold together, just as iron does not mix with clay.
44 And in the days of those kings the God of Heaven will set up a kingdom which shall never be destroyed, nor shall its sovereignty be left to another people. It shall break in pieces all these kingdoms and bring them to an end, and it shall stand forever;
45 just as you saw that a Stone was cut from a Mountain by no human hand, and that It broke in pieces the iron, the bronze, the clay, the silver, and the gold. A great God has made known to the king what shall be hereafter. The dream is certain, and its interpretation sure."
46 Then King Nebuchadnezzar fell upon his face, and did homage to Daniel, and commanded that an offering and incense be offered up to him.
47 The king said to Daniel, "Truly, your God is God of gods and Lord of kings, and a revealer of mysteries, for you have been able to reveal this mystery."
48 Then the king gave Daniel high honors and many great gifts, and made him ruler over the whole province of Babylon, and chief prefect over all the wise men of Babylon.
49 Daniel made request of the king, and he appointed Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego over the affairs of the province of Babylon; but Daniel remained at the king's court.

2 Daniel said, "I saw in my vision by night, and hey, the four winds of heaven were stirring up the great sea.
3 And four great beasts came up out of the sea, different from one another.
4 The first was like a lion and had eagles' wings. Then as I looked its wings were plucked off, and it was lifted up from the ground and made to stand upon two feet like a man; and the mind of a man was given to it.
5 And hey, another beast, a second one, like a bear. It was raised up on one side; it had three ribs in its mouth between its teeth; and it was told, 'Get up, devour much flesh.'
6 After this I looked, and wow, another, like a leopard, with four wings of a bird on its back; and the beast had four heads; and dominion was given to it.
7 After this I saw in the night visions, and hey, a fourth beast, terrible and dreadful and exceedingly strong; and it had great iron teeth; it devoured and broke in pieces, and stamped the residue with its feet. It was different from all the beasts that were before it; and it had ten horns.
8 I considered the horns, and hey, there came up among them another horn, a little one, before which three of the first horns were plucked up by the roots; and hey, in this horn were eyes like the eyes of a man, and a mouth speaking great things.
9 As I looked, thrones were placed and one who was Ancient of Days took His seat; His clothing was white as snow, and the hair of His head like pure wool; His throne was fiery flames, its wheels were burning fire.
10 A stream of fire issued and came forth from in front of Him; a thousand thousands served Him, and ten thousand times ten thousand stood before Him; the court sat in judgment, and the books were opened.
11 I looked then because of the sound of the great words which the horn was speaking. And as I looked, the beast was slain, and its body destroyed and given over to be burned with fire.
12 As for the rest of the beasts, their dominion was taken away, but their lives were prolonged for a season and a time.
13 I saw in the night visions, and hey, with the clouds of heaven there came one like a Son of Man, and He came to the Ancient of Days and was presented before Him.
14 And to Him was given dominion and glory and kingdom, that all peoples, nations, and languages should serve Him; His dominion is an everlasting dominion, which shall not pass away, and His kingdom one that shall not be destroyed.
16 I approached one of those who stood there and asked him the truth concerning all this. So he told me, and made known to me the interpretation of the things.
17 "These four great beasts are four kings who shall arise out of the earth.
18 But the saints of the Most High shall receive the kingdom, and possess the kingdom forever." 19 Then I desired to know the truth concerning the fourth beast, which was different from all the others, exceedingly terrible, with its teeth of iron and claws of bronze; and which devoured and broke in pieces, and stamped the residue with its feet;
20 and concerning the ten horns which were on its head, and the other horn which came up and before which three of them fell, the horn which had eyes and a mouth that spoke great things, and which seemed greater than its associates.
21 As I looked, this horn made war against the saints, and prevailed over them,
22 until the Ancient of Days came, and judgment was given for the saints of the Most High, and the time came when the saints received the kingdom.
23 Thus he said: "As for the fourth beast, there shall be a fourth kingdom on earth, which shall be different from all the kingdoms, and it shall devour the whole earth, and trample it down, and break it to pieces.
24 As for the ten horns, out of this kingdom ten kings shall arise, and another shall arise after them; he shall be different from the former ones, and shall put down three kings. [Mubarak, Gaddafi, and Assad?]
25 He shall speak words against the Most High, and shall wear out the saints of the Most High, and shall think to change the times and the law; and they shall be given into his hand for a time, two times, and half a time.
26 But the court shall sit in judgment, and his dominion shall be taken away, to be consumed and destroyed to the end.
27 And the kingdom and the dominion and the greatness of the kingdoms under the whole heaven shall be given to the people of the saints of the Most High; their kingdom shall be an everlasting kingdom, and all dominions shall serve and obey them."

1 In the third year of the reign of King Belshazzar a vision appeared to me, Daniel, after that which appeared to me at the first.
2 And I saw in the vision; and when I saw, I was in Susa the capital, which is in the province of Elam; and I saw in the vision, and I was at the river Ulai.
3 I raised my eyes and saw, and hey, a ram standing on the bank of the river. It had two horns; and both horns were high, but one was higher than the other, and the higher one came up last.
4 I saw the ram charging westward and northward and southward; no beast could stand before him, and there was no one who could rescue from his power; he did as he pleased and magnified himself.
5 As I was considering, hey, a he-goat came from the west across the face of the whole earth, without touching the ground; and the goat had a conspicuous horn between his eyes.
6 He came to the ram with the two horns, which I had seen standing on the bank of the river, and he ran at him in his mighty wrath.
7 I saw him come close to the ram, and he was enraged against him and struck the ram and broke his two horns; and the ram had no power to stand before him, but he threw him down to the ground and trampled upon him; and there was no one who could rescue the ram from his power.
8 Then the he-goat magnified himself exceedingly; but when he was strong, the great horn was broken, and instead of it there came up four conspicuous horns toward the four winds of heaven.
9 Out of one of them came forth a little horn, which grew exceedingly great toward the south, toward the east, and toward the glorious land. [see Revelation chapter 13]
10 It grew great, even to the host of heaven; and some of the host of the stars it threw down to the ground, and trampled upon them.
11 It magnified itself, even up to the prince of the host; and the continual burnt offering was taken away from him, and the place of his sanctuary was overthrown.
12 And the host was given over to it together with the continual burnt offering through transgression; and truth was thrown down to the ground, and the horn acted and prospered.
13 Then I heard a holy one speaking; and another holy one said to the one that spoke, "For how long is the vision concerning the continual burnt offering, the transgression that makes desolate, and the giving over of the sanctuary and host to be trampled under foot?"
14 And he said to him, "For two thousand and three hundred evenings and mornings; then the sanctuary shall be restored to its rightful state."
15 When I, Daniel, had seen the vision, I sought to understand it; and hey, there stood before me one having the appearance of a man.
16 And I heard a man's voice between the banks of the Ulai, and it called, "Gabriel, make this man understand the vision."
17 So he came near where I stood; and when he came, I was frightened and fell upon my face. But he said to me, "Understand, son of man, that the vision is for the time of the end."
19 He said, "Hey, I will make known to you what shall be at the latter end of the indignation; for it pertains to the appointed time of the end.
20 As for the ram which you saw with the two horns, these are the kings of Media and Persia.
21 And the he-goat is the king of Greece; and the great horn between his eyes is the first king.
22 As for the horn that was broken, in place of which four others arose, four kingdoms shall arise from his nation, but not with his power. [see Revelation chapter 17]
23 And at the latter end of their rule, when the transgressors have reached their full measure, a king of bold countenance, one who understands riddles, shall arise.
24 His power shall be great, and he shall cause fearful destruction, and shall succeed in what he does, and destroy mighty men and the people of the saints.
25 By his cunning he shall make deceit prosper under his hand, and in his own mind he shall magnify himself. Without warning he shall destroy many; and he shall even rise up against the Prince of princes; but, by no human hand, he shall be broken. [see Revelation chapters 13-19?]
26 The vision of the evenings and the mornings which has been told is true; but seal up the vision, for it pertains to many days from now."

20 While I was speaking and praying, confessing my sin and the sin of my people Israel, and presenting my petitions to the LORD my God for the holy hill of my God;
21 while I was speaking in prayer, the man Gabriel, whom I had seen in the vision at the first, came to me in swift flight at the time of the evening sacrifice.
22 He came and he said to me, "Daniel, I have now come out to give you wisdom and understanding.
23 At the beginning of your petitions a word went forth, and I have come to tell it to you, for you are greatly beloved; therefore consider the word and understand the vision.
24 Seventy weeks of years are decreed regarding your people and your holy city, to finish the transgression, to put an end to sin, and to atone for iniquity, to bring in everlasting righteousness, to seal both vision and prophet, and to anoint a most holy place.
25 Know therefore and understand that from the going forth of the word to restore and build Jerusalem to the coming of an anointed one, a prince, there shall be seven weeks. Then for sixty-two weeks it shall be built again with squares and moat, but in a troubled time.
26 And after the sixty-two weeks, an anointed one shall be cut off, and shall have nothing; and the people of the prince who is to come shall destroy the city and the sanctuary. Its end shall come with a flood, and to the end there shall be war; desolations are decreed.
27 And he shall make a strong covenant with many for one week; and for half of the week he shall cause sacrifice and offering to cease; [see the 42-month Great Tribulation of Revelation chapter 13?] and upon the wing of abominations shall come one who makes desolate, until the decreed end is poured out on the desolator."

2 And now I will show you the truth: Hey, three more kings shall arise in Persia; and a fourth shall be far richer than all of them; and when he has become strong through his riches, he shall stir up all against the kingdom of Greece.
3 Then a mighty king shall arise, who shall rule with great dominion and do according to his will.
4 And when he has arisen, his kingdom shall be broken and divided toward the four winds of heaven, but not to his posterity, nor according to the dominion with which he ruled; for his kingdom shall be plucked up and go to others besides these. [see Revelation chapter 17]

20 Then shall arise in his place one who shall send an exactor of tribute through the glory of the kingdom; but within a few days he shall be broken, neither in anger nor in battle.
21 In his place shall arise a contemptible person to whom royal majesty has not been given [Barack/Barry/Barack Hussein Obama/Soetoro/Obama was born in Kenya and not Hawaii, and thus not Constitutionally qualified to be United States President?]; he shall come in without warning and obtain the kingdom by flatteries.
22 Armies shall be utterly swept away before him and broken, and the Prince of the covenant also.
23 And from the time that an alliance is made with him he shall act deceitfully; and he shall become strong with a small people [Obominites?].
24 Without warning he shall come into the richest parts of the province; and he shall do what neither his fathers nor his fathers' fathers have done, scattering among them plunder, spoil, and goods. He shall devise plans against strongholds, but only for a time.
25 And he shall stir up his power and his courage against the king of the south with a great army; and the king of the south shall wage war with an exceedingly great and mighty army; but he shall not stand, for plots shall be devised against him.
26 Even those who eat his rich food shall be his undoing; his army shall be swept away, and many shall fall down slain.
27 And as for the two kings, their minds shall be bent on mischief; they shall speak lies at the same table, but to no avail; for the end is yet to be at the time appointed.
28 And he shall return to his land with great substance, but his heart shall be set against the holy covenant. And he shall work his will, and return to his own land.
29 At the time appointed he shall return and come into the south; but it shall not be this time as it was before.
30 For ships of Kittim shall come against him, and he shall be afraid and withdraw, and shall turn back and be enraged and take action against the holy covenant. He shall turn back and give heed to those who reject the holy covenant.
31 Forces from him shall appear and profane the temple and fortress, and shall take away the continual burnt offering. And they shall set up the abomination that makes desolate.
32 He shall seduce with flattery those who violate the covenant; but the people who know their God shall stand firm and take action.
33 And those among the people who are wise shall make many understand, though they shall fall by sword and flame, by captivity and plunder, for some days.
34 When they fall, they shall receive a little help. And many shall join themselves to them with flattery;
35 and some of those who are wise shall fall, to refine and to cleanse them and to make them white, until the time of the end, for it is yet for the time appointed.
36 And the king shall do according to his will; he shall exalt himself and magnify himself above every god, and shall speak astonishing things against the God of gods. He shall prosper till the indignation is accomplished; for what is determined shall be done.
37 He shall give no heed to the gods of his fathers, or to the one beloved by women; he shall not give heed to any other god, for he shall magnify himself above all.
38 He shall honor the god of fortresses instead of these; a god whom his fathers did not know he shall honor with gold and silver, with precious stones and costly gifts.
39 He shall deal with the strongest fortresses by the help of a foreign god [a FOREIGN god?] ; those who acknowledge him he shall magnify with honor. He shall make them rulers over many and shall divide the land for a price.
40 At the time of the end the king of the south shall attack him; but the king of the north shall rush upon him like a whirlwind, with chariots and horsemen, and with many ships; and he shall come into countries and shall overflow and pass through.
41 He shall come into the glorious land. And tens of thousands shall fall, but these shall be delivered out of his hand: Edom and Moab and the main part of the Ammonites. [Petra?]
42 He shall stretch out his hand against the countries, and the land of Egypt shall not escape.
43 He shall become ruler of the treasures of gold and of silver, and all the precious things of Egypt; and the Libyans and the Ethiopians shall follow in his procession.
44 But newa from the east and the north shall alarm him, and he shall go forth with great fury to exterminate and utterly destroy many.
45 And he shall pitch his palatial tents between the sea and the glorious holy mountain; yet he shall come to his end, with none to help him. [see Revelation chapter 19]

9 And when He had opened the fifth seal, I saw under the altar the souls of those who were slain for the Word of God, and for the testimony which they held.
10 And they shouted out with a loud voice, saying, "How long, Lord, holy and true, do You not judge and avenge our blood on those who reside on the earth?"
11 And white robes were given unto every one of them, and it was said to them that they should rest yet for a little season, until their fellow servants and also their brethren, who were to be killed as they were, should have fulfilled their course.
12 And I looked and considered when He had opened the sixth seal, and wow, there was a great earthquake, and the sun became black as sackcloth of hair, and the moon became as blood; [see Revelation chapter 19?]
13 and the stars of the heavens fell unto the earth, even as a fig tree throws its untimely figs when it is shaken by a mighty wind.
14 The heavens went away as a scroll when it is rolled together, and every mountain and island were moved out of their places.
15 And the kings of the earth, and the great men, and the rich men, and the chief captains, and the mighty men, and every bondman, and every free man, hid themselves in the dens and in the rocks of the mountains;
16 and they said to the mountains and rocks, "Fall on us, and hide us from the face of Him who sits on the throne, and from the wrath of the Lamb!
17 For the great Day of His wrath has come, and who shall be able to stand?"

1 And after these things I saw four angels standing on the four corners of the earth, holding the four winds of the earth, that the wind should not blow on the earth, nor on the sea, nor on any tree.
2 And I saw another angel ascending from the east, having the seal of the living God; and he shouted with a loud voice to the four angels to whom it was given to hurt the earth and the sea,
3 saying, "Hurt not the earth, neither the sea nor the trees, until we have sealed the servants of our God on their foreheads."
4 And I heard the number of those who were sealed: there were sealed a hundred and forty-four thousand of all the tribes of the children of Israel.
5 Of the tribe of Judah were sealed twelve thousand; of the tribe of Reuben were sealed twelve thousand; of the tribe of Gad were sealed twelve thousand;
6 of the tribe of Asher were sealed twelve thousand; of the tribe of Naphtali were sealed twelve thousand; of the tribe of Manasseh were sealed twelve thousand;
7 of the tribe of Simeon were sealed twelve thousand; of the tribe of Levi were sealed twelve thousand; of the tribe of Issachar were sealed twelve thousand;
8 of the tribe of Zebulun were sealed twelve thousand; of the tribe of Joseph were sealed twelve thousand; of the tribe of Benjamin were sealed twelve thousand.
9 After this I looked and considered, and wow, a great assembly, which no man could number, of all nations and kindreds and people and languages, stood before the throne and before the Lamb, clothed in white robes and with palms in their hands.
10 And they shouted with a loud voice, saying, "Salvation to our God who sits upon the throne, and to the Lamb."

2 And I saw the seven angels who stood before God, and to them were given seven trumpets.
3 And another angel came and stood at the altar, having a golden censer; and there was given to him much incense, that he should offer it with the prayers of all saints upon the golden altar, which was before the throne.
4 And the smoke of the incense, which came with the prayers of the saints, ascended up before God out of the angel's hand.
5 And the angel took the censer, and filled it with fire from the altar, and threw it down upon the Earth; and there were voices and thunderings and lightnings, and an earthquake.
6 And the seven angels who had the seven trumpets prepared themselves to sound.
7 The first angel sounded, and there followed hail and fire mingled with blood, and they were throw upon the Earth; and a third part of the trees were burned up, and all green grass was burned up.
8 And the second angel sounded, and, as it were, a great mountain burning with fire was thrown into the sea; and a third part of the sea became blood;
9 and a third part of the creatures which were in the sea and had life, died, and a third part of the ships were destroyed.
10 And the third angel sounded, and there fell a great star from heaven, burning as if it were a lamp [as Batman's Robin might exclaim: "Holy Super-Meteorite!"?}, and it fell upon a third part of the rivers and upon the fountains of waters;
11 and the name of the star is called Wormwood. And a third part of the waters became wormwood; and many humans died from the waters, because they were made bitter.
12 And the fourth angel sounded, and a third part of the sun was smitten, and a third part of the moon and a third part of the stars, so that a third part of them was darkened; and a third of the day shone not, and the night likewise.
13 And I looked and consider, and heard an angel flying through the middle of heaven, saying with a loud voice, "Woe, woe, woe to the inhabitants of the Earth, because of the other voices of the trumpets of the three other angels, which are yet to sound!"

1 And the fifth angel sounded his trumpet, and I saw a star fall from heaven to the Earth; and to him was given the key to the abyss.
2 And he opened the abyss, and there arose smoke out of the pit, as the smoke of a great furnace; and the sun and the air were darkened because of the smoke of the pit.
3 And there came out of the smoke locusts upon the Earth; and to them was given power, as the scorpions of the earth have power.
4 And it was commanded to them that they should not hurt the grass of the Earth, neither any green thing, neither any tree, but only those humans who have not the seal of God on their foreheads.
5 And to the locusts it was given that they should not kill them, but that they should be tormented five months; and their torment was as the torment of a scorpion when he strikes a human.
6 And in those days shall humans seek death, and shall not find it; and shall desire to die, and death shall run away from them.
7 And the shapes of the locusts were like horses prepared for battle; and on their heads were, as it were, crowns like gold, and their faces were as the faces of humans.
8 And they had hair as the hair of women, and their teeth were as the teeth of lions.
9 And they had breastplates like breastplates of iron, and the sound of their wings was as the sound of chariots with many horses running to battle.
10 And they had tails scorpions, and there were stingers in their tails; and their power was to hurt men five months.
11 And they had a king over them, the angel of the abyss, whose name in the Hebrew language is Abaddon, but in the Greek language the name is Apollyon.
12 One woe is past; and hey, there come two more woes hereafter.
13 And the sixth angel sounded, and I heard a voice from the four horns of the golden altar which stands before God,
14 saying to the sixth angel who had the trumpet, "Loose the four angels who are bound in the great river Euphrates." [The Euphrates divides Iraq, formerly Persia, in half from east to west]
15 And the four angels were loosed, who had been prepared for an hour and a day and a month and a year, to slay a third part of mankind.
16 And the number of the army of horsemen was two hundred thousand thousand, and I heard the number of them.
17 And thus I saw the horses in the vision, and them that sat on them had breastplates of fire and of jacinth and brimstone; and the heads of the horses were as the heads of lions, and out of their mouths issued fire and smoke and brimstone.
18 By these three was the third part of men killed by the fire and by the smoke and by the brimstone, which issued out of their mouths.
19 For their power is in their mouth and in their tails; for their tails were like serpents and had heads, and with them they cause hurt.
20 And the remainder of humans, who were not killed by these plagues, yet repented not of the works of their hands, nor gave up the worship of devils, and idols of gold and silver, and brass and stone and of wood, which can neither see nor hear nor walk;
21 neither repented they of their murders, nor of their sorceries, nor of their fornication, nor of their thefts.

1 And there was given me a reed like a rod; and the angel stood, saying, "Rise, and measure the temple of God and the altar, and them that worship therein.
2 But the court which is outside the temple, leave out, and measure it not, for it is given to the nations; and the holy city shall they tread under foot for forty-two months.
3 And I will give power to my two witnesses, and they shall prophesy a thousand two hundred and sixty days, clothed in sackcloth.
4 These are the two olive trees and the two candlesticks, [Enoch and Elijah - both of whom never died?] standing before the God of the Earth.
5 And if any human would hurt them, fire proceeds out of their mouth and consumes their enemies; and if any human will hurt them, he must in this way be killed.
6 These have the power to close heaven, that it rain not in the days of their prophecy, and have power over waters to turn them to blood, and to smite the earth with all plagues, as often as they want.
7 And when they shall have finished their testimony, the beast who ascends out of the abyss shall make war against them, and shall overcome them and kill them.
8 And their dead bodies shall lie in the street of the great city, which spiritually is called Sodom and Egypt, where also our Lord was crucified.
9 And they of the people and families, and languages and nations shall see their dead bodies three days and a half, and shall not allow their dead bodies to be put in graves.
10 And they who reside on the earth shall celebrate over them and make merry, and shall send gifts one to another, because these two prophets tormented those who lived on the Earth.
11 But after three days and a half, the Spirit of life from God entered into them, and they stood upon their feet; and great fear fell upon those who saw them.
12 And they heard a great voice from Heaven, saying to them, "Come up here!" And they ascended up to Heaven in a cloud, and their enemies saw them.
13 And that same hour there was a great earthquake, and a tenth part of the city fell; and in the earthquake were slain seven thousand men, and the remnant were seized with fear, and gave glory to the God of Heaven.
14 The second woe is past; and hey, the third woe comes quickly.

1 And there appeared a wondrous sign in heaven: a woman clothed with the Sun [the Virgin Mary?], and the Moon under her feet, and upon her head a crown of twelve stars [Twelve Sons of Jacob/Israel?].
2 And she, being with Child [Jesus?], cried out, travailing in birth and in pain to be delivered.
3 And there appeared another sign in heaven: hey, a great red Dragon [Satan?], having seven heads and ten horns, and seven crowns upon his heads.
4 And his tail drew a third part of the stars of heaven, and threw them to the Earth. And the Dragon stood before the woman who was ready to be delivered, to devour her Child as soon as he was born.
5 And she birthed a man-Child, who was to rule all nations with a rod of iron; and her Child was caught up to God and to His throne.
6 And the woman fled into the wilderness [Egypt?], where she has a place prepared by God, that they should feed her there a thousand two hundred and sixty days.
7 And there was war in Heaven: Michael and his angels fought against the Dragon; and the Dragon fought and his angels,
8 and prevailed not; neither was their place found any more in Heaven.
9 And the great Dragon was throw out -- that Serpent of old called the Devil and Satan, who deceives the whole world. He was thrown out to the Earth, and his angels were thrown out with him.
10 And I heard a loud voice saying in Heaven, "Now have come salvation and strength, and the Kingdom of our God, and the power of His Christ; for the accuser of our brethren is thrown down, who accused them before our God day and night.
11 And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony, and they loved not their own lives to death.
12 Therefore rejoice, heavens, and you all who reside in them! Woe to the inhabitants of the Earth and of the sea! For the Devil has come down to you, full of great wrath, because he knows that he has but a short time."
13 And when the Dragon saw that he was thrown unto the earth, he persecuted the woman who birthed the man-Child.
14 And to the woman were given two wings of a great eagle, that she might fly into the wilderness, into her place, where she is nourished for a time and times and half a time, from the face of the Serpent.
15 And the serpent threw out of his mouth water as a flood after the woman [Nile?], that he might cause her to be carried away by the flood.
16 And the Earth helped the woman; and the Earth opened up her mouth, and swallowed up the flood which the Dragon threw out of his mouth.
17 And the Dragon was enraged against the woman, and he went to make war against the remnant of her seed, who keep the commandments of God, and have the testimony of Jesus Christ.

1 And I stood upon the sand of the sea. And I saw a Beast rise up out of the sea, having seven heads and ten horns, and upon his horns ten crowns, and upon his heads the name of blasphemy.
2 And the Beast which I saw was like unto a leopard [European/Scandinavian, African?], and his feet were as the feet of a bear [Chinese/Russian?], and his mouth as the mouth of a lion [Brits, Aussies, Americans?]. And the Dragon gave him his power, and his seat, and great authority.
3 And I saw that one of his heads seemed mortally wounded [American-Allies-patriot-resistors?], but his deadly wound was healed. And all the world wondered after the Beast.
4 And they worshiped the Dragon which gave power to the Beast, and they worshiped the Beast, saying, "Who is like the Beast? Who is able to make war against him?"
5 And there was given to the Beast a mouth, speaking great things and blasphemies, and power was given to him to continue forty and two months [a time, two times, and half a time].

10 Many shall purify themselves, and make themselves white, and be refined; but the wicked shall do wickedly; and none of the wicked shall understand; but those who are wise shall understand.
11 And from the time that the Continual Burnt Offering is taken away, and the Abomination that Makes Desolate is set up, there shall be a thousand two hundred and ninety days.
12 Blessed is he who waits and comes to the thousand three hundred and thirty-five days.

6 And he opened his mouth in blasphemy against God to blaspheme His name, and His tabernacle, and those who reside in Heaven.
7 And he was allowed to make war against the saints and to overcome them; and power was given him over all families, and tongues, and nations.
8 And all who reside on the earth shall worship him, whose names are not written in the Book of Life of the Lamb, slain from the foundation of the world.
9 If any man have an ear, let him hear:
10 He who leads into captivity shall go into captivity [detention or concentration camps or mental-"treatment" incarceration centers?]. He who kills with the sword [NRA pro-gun activitists?] must be killed with the sword. Here is the patience and the faith of the saints. [Proof that not-previously-dead-and-buried-or-cremated saints comprising "the church" will go through The Great Tribulation?]

9 Then shall they deliver you up to be afflicted and shall kill you, and you all shall be hated by all nations for My name's sake.
10 And then shall many lose faith and shall betray one another and shall hate one another.
11 And many false prophets shall rise and shall deceive many.
12 And because iniquity shall become extensive, the love of many shall grow cold.
13 But he who shall endure to the end, the same shall be saved.
14 And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world [via satellite, internet?] for a witness to all nations, and then shall the end come.
15 When you all therefore shall see the `Abomination of Desolation,' spoken of by Daniel the prophet, standing in the holy place (whoever reads, let him understand),
16 then let those who are in Judea run away to the mountains.
17 Let him who is on the housetop not come down to take anything out of his house;
18 neither let him that is in the field return back to take his clothes.
19 And woe to those who are with child, and to those who give suck in those days!
20 But you all pray that your flight be not in the winter, neither on the Sabbath day.
21 For then shall be great tribulation, such as was not since the beginning of the world to this time, no, nor ever shall be.
22 And unless those days were shortened, no flesh would be saved; but for the elect's sake, those days shall be shortened.
23 Then if any man shall say to you, `Wow, here is Christ,' or `there,' believe it not.
26 Therefore, if they shall say to you, `Hey, He is in the desert!' go not out; or `Hey, He is in the secret chambers!' believe it not.
27 For as the lightning comes out of the east and shines even to the west, so shall also the coming of the Son of Man be.
28 Wheresoever the carcass is, there will the vultures be gathered together.

11 And I saw and considered another Beast coming up out of the earth; and he had two horns [worldwide apostate catholicism and worldwide cultic islam . . . and/or the United Nations and/or NATO and/or The European Union?] like a lamb, and he spoke as a dragon.
12 And he exercises all the power of the first Beast before him; and he causes the earth and those who reside thereon to worship the first Beast, whose deadly wound was healed.
13 And he does great wonders, so that he makes fire come down from heaven on the earth in the sight of humans.
14 And he deceives those who reside on the earth by those wonders which he had power to do in the sight of the Beast, saying to those who reside on the Earth that they should make an image to the Beast, which had the wound by a sword and lived.
15 And he had power to give life to the Image of the Beast, that the Image of the Beast could both speak and cause to be killed as many as would not worship the Image of the Beast.
16 And he causes all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and slave, to receive a [voluntarily-implant embedded-tattoo security/commerce/I.D. RFID chip?] Mark on their right hands or on their foreheads,
17 that no man might buy or sell unless he had the Mark, or the name of the Beast, or the number of his name.
18 Here is wisdom: Let him who has understanding recognize the number of the Beast, for it is the number of a human; and his number is six hundred sixty-six.

17 He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches. To him who overcomes will I give to eat of the hidden manna, and will give him a white stone, and on the stone a new name written, which no human (including anyone at the CIA, NSA, KGB, etc. and hence no identity theft!) knows except he who receives it.'

1 And I looked and wow, a Lamb stood on Mount Zion [thus, were Zionists - whether so-called assumed-name "palestinian" antisemitic "authorities" like it or not?], and with Him a hundred forty-four thousand, having His Father's name written on their foreheads.
2 And I heard a voice from Heaven as the voice of many waters, and as the voice of a great thunder, and I heard the voice of harpers harping with their harps.
3 And they seemed to sing a new song in front of the throne, and in front of the four living beings and the elders; and no human could learn that song, except the hundred and forty-four thousand who were redeemed from the Earth.
4 These are they who were not defiled with women, for they are virgins. These are they who follow the Lamb wherever He goes. These are redeemed from among humans, being the first-fruits to God and to the Lamb.
5 And in their mouth was found no deceit, because they are without fault before the throne of God.
6 And I saw another angel fly in the middle of heaven, having the everlasting gospel to preach to those who reside on the Earth, and to every nation and family, and language and people,
7 saying with a loud voice, "Fear God and give glory to Him, for the hour of His Judgment has come. Worship Him who made Heaven and Earth, and the sea and the fountains of waters."
9 And the third angel followed them, saying with a loud voice, "If any human worship the Beast and his image, and receive his mark on his forehead or on his hand,
10 the same shall drink of the wine of the wrath of God, which is poured out unmixed into the cup of His indignation; and he shall be tormented with fire and brimstone in the presence of the holy angels and in the presence of the Lamb.
11 And the smoke of their torment ascends up forever; and they have no rest day or night, who worship the Beast and his image, and whoever receives the mark of his name."
12 Here is the patience of the saints: here are those who keep the commandments of God, and the faith in Jesus.
13 And I heard a voice from Heaven, saying to me, "Write: `Blessed are the dead who die in the Lord from now on.'" "Yes," says the Spirit, "that they may rest from their labors, and their works do follow them."

1 And I heard a great voice out of the temple, saying to the seven angels, "Go your ways, and pour out the vials of the wrath of God upon the Earth."
2 And the first went and poured out his vial upon the Earth; and there fell a loathsome and grievous sores upon the humans who had the mark of the Beast and on those who worshiped his image.
3 And the second angel poured out his vial upon the sea; and it became as the blood of a dead human, and every living thing died in the sea.
4 And the third angel poured out his vial upon the rivers and fountains of waters; and they became blood.
5 And I heard the angel of the waters say, "You are righteous, Lord, who is and was and will be, because You have judged thus;
6 for they have shed the blood of saints and prophets, and You have given them blood to drink, as they deserve."
7 And I heard another out of the altar say, "Even so, Lord God Almighty, for true and righteous are Your judgments."
8 And the fourth angel poured out his vial upon the sun; and power was given to him to scorch humans with fire.
9 And [sun-tanning?] humans were scorched with great heat [SERIOUS solar-flares-caused sunburn?], and they blasphemed the name of God, who has power over these plagues; and they repented not to give Him glory.
10 And the fifth angel poured out his vial upon the throne of the Beast; and his kingdom was full of darkness, and they gnawed their tongues from pain;
11 and they blasphemed the God of Heaven because of their pains and their sores, and repented not of their works.
12 And the sixth angel poured out his vial upon the great river Euphrates [which divides Iraq in half from east to west?]; and the water thereof was dried up, that the way of the kings of the east [the Asian countries plus India and Pakistan?] might be prepared.
13 And I saw three non-clean spirits like frogs [jumping/leaping from place to place?] come out of the mouth of the Dragon, and out of the mouth of the Beast, and out of the mouth of the False Prophet.
14 For they are the spirits of devils working wonders, which go out to the kings of the Earth and of the whole world to gather them for the battle on that great Day of God Almighty.
15 "Hey, I come as a thief. Blessed is he who watches and keeps his clothes, so that he does not walk naked, and they see his shame [exceptions being for those sequestered-and-secluded engaging in legitimate/sacred/holy private intimately-interpersonal completely-nude erotica with their own spouses alone with them only?]."
16 And he gathered them together at a place called in the Hebrew language, Armageddon.

1 Hey, the LORD is riding on a swift cloud and comes to Egypt; and the idols of Egypt will tremble at His presence, and the heart of the Egyptians will melt within them.
2 And I will stir up Egyptians against Egyptians, and they will fight, every man against his brother and every man against his neighbor, city against city, kingdom against kingdom;
3 and the spirit of the Egyptians within them will be emptied out, and I will confound their plans; and they will consult the idols and the sorcerers, and the mediums and the wizards;
4 and I will give over the Egyptians into the hand of a hard master; and a fierce king will rule over them," says the Lord, the LORD of hosts.
5 And the waters of the Nile will be dried up, and the river will be parched and dry;
6 and its canals will become foul, and the branches of Egypt's Nile will diminish and dry up, reeds and rushes will rot away.
7 There will be bare places by the Nile, on the brink of the Nile, and all that is planted by the Nile will dry up, be driven away, and be no more.
8 The fishermen will mourn and lament, all who cast hook in the Nile; and they will languish who spread nets upon the water.
9 The workers in combed flax will be in despair, and the weavers of white cotton.
10 Those who are the pillars of the land will be crushed, and all who work for hire will be grieved.
15 And there will be nothing for Egypt which head or tail, palm branch or reed, may do.
16 In that day the Egyptians will be like women, and tremble with fear before the hand which the LORD of hosts shakes over them.
17 And the land of Judah will become a terror to the Egyptians; every one to whom it is mentioned will fear because of the purpose which the LORD of hosts has purposed against them.
18 In that day there will be five cities in the land of Egypt which speak the language of Canaan and swear allegiance to the LORD of hosts. One of these will be called the City of the Sun.
19 In that day there will be an altar to the LORD in the midst of the land of Egypt, and a pillar to the LORD at its border.
20 It will be a sign and a witness to the LORD of hosts in the land of Egypt; when they cry to the LORD because of oppressors He will send them a Savior, and will defend and deliver them.
21 And the LORD will make Himself known to the Egyptians; and the Egyptians will know the LORD in that day and worship with sacrifice and burnt offering, and they will make vows to the LORD and perform them.
22 And the LORD will smite Egypt, smiting and healing, and they will return to the LORD, and He will pay attention to their petitions and heal them.
23 In that day there will be a highway from Egypt to Assyria, and the Assyrian will come into Egypt, and the Egyptian into Assyria, and the Egyptians will worship with the Assyrians.
24 In that day Israel will be the third with Egypt and Assyria, a blessing in the middle of the Earth,
25 whom the LORD of hosts has blessed, saying, "Blessed be Egypt my people, and Assyria the work of my hands, and Israel my heritage."

3 So he carried me away in the Spirit into the wilderness; and I saw a woman sitting upon a scarlet [rainbow?]-colored Beast, full of names of blasphemy, and having seven heads and ten horns.
4 And the woman was arrayed in purple and scarlet color, and bedecked with gold and precious stones and pearls, having a golden cup in her hand full of abominations and filthiness of her fornication;
5 and upon her forehead was a name written: "Mystery, Babylon the Great, Mother of Harlots and Abominations of the Earth". 6 And I saw that the woman was drunk with the blood of the saints and with the blood of the martyrs of Jesus. And when I saw her, I wondered with great amazement.
7 And the angel said to me, "Why do you marvel? I will tell you the mystery of the woman and of the Beast that carries her, which has seven heads and ten horns.
8 The Beast that you saw was, and is not, and shall ascend out of the abyss and go to perdition; and they who reside on the earth, and whose names were not written in the Book of Life from the foundation of the world, shall wonder when they see and consider the Beast that was, and is not, and yet is.
9 And this is for the mind which has wisdom: The seven heads are seven mountains on which the woman sits.
10 And there are seven kings: five are fallen, and one is [Rome?], and the other has not yet come; and when he comes, he must continue a short time.
11 And the Beast that was, and is not, even he is the eighth, yet is one of the seven and goes to perdition.
12 And the ten horns which you saw are Ten Kings [comprised of Far East Asian nations (Korea/Japan/China/Viet Nam/Cambodia/Tibet), Near East nations (India/Pakistan/Afghanistan), Soviet/Russian nations, African nations (Sudan/Ethiopia/Libya/Kenya/Nairobi/etc.), Central-European Nations (Spain/France/Portugal/Holland/Germany/Italy/Austria), Scandinavian nations (Iceland/Norway/Denmark/Sweden/Finland), British nations (Ireland/Scotland/Wales/England), South American nations (Central America and regions southward including Antarctica), Australian nations (including Philippines), North American nations (The Arctic/Canada/United States/Mexico/Central America), etc.?], who have received no kingdom as yet, but will receive power as kings for one hour with the Beast.
13 These have one mind, and shall give their power and strength to the Beast.
14 These shall make war against the Lamb, and the Lamb shall overcome them; for He is Lord of lords and King of kings, and those who are with Him are called, and chosen, and faithful [not rejects nor outlaws nor traitors?]."
15 And he said to me, "The waters which you saw, where the whore sits, are peoples and crowds, and nations and languages.
16 And the ten horns which you saw on the Beast, these shall hate the whore, and shall make her desolate and naked, and shall eat her flesh and burn her with fire.
17 For God has put into their hearts to fulfill His will and to agree, and to give their kingdom to the Beast, until the words of God shall be fulfilled.
18 And the woman whom thou saw is that great city which rules over the kings of the earth."

10 wait for His Son from Heaven, whom He raised from the dead, even Jesus, who delivered us from the wrath to come.

10 Then said He to them, "Nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom,
11 and great earthquakes shall be in various places, and famines and pestilences. And fearful sights and great signs shall there be from heaven.
12 But before all these, they shall lay their hands on you and persecute you, summoning you up to synagogues and into prisons, and you will be brought before kings and rulers for My name's sake.
13 And it shall turn to you to give testimony.
14 Settle it therefore in your hearts not to meditate beforehand what you all shall answer.
15 For I will give you a mouth and wisdom, which all your adversaries shall not be able to oppose nor resist.
16 And you all shall be betrayed both by parents and brethren and relatives and friends, and some of you they shall cause to be put to death.
17 And you all shall be hated by all humans for My name's sake.
18 But there shall not a hair of your head perish.
19 In your patience possess you your souls.
20 And when you shall see Jerusalem surrounded with armies, then know that the desolation thereof is near.
21 Then let those who are in Judea run away to the mountains [Get out of town - fast!], and let those who are in the middle of it leave, and let not those who are in the countries enter therein.
22 For these are the days of vengeance, that all things which are written may be fulfilled.
23 But woe to those who are with child [pregnant?] and to those who give suck [or tit?] in those days! For there shall be great distress in the land and wrath upon this people.
24 And they shall fall by the edge of the sword, and shall be led away captive into all nations. And Jerusalem shall be trodden down by the nations until the times of the nations be fulfilled.
25 And there shall be signs in the sun and in the moon and in the stars; and upon the earth distress among nations, with perplexity, the sea and the waves roaring.
26 Human hearts will fail them for fear and for observing those things which are coming on the earth; for the powers of heaven shall be shaken.
27 And then shall they see the Son of Man coming in a cloud with power and great glory.
28 And when these things begin to come to pass, then look up and lift up your heads, for your redemption is getting near.
34 Watch out for yourselves, so that whenever your hearts be overcharged with fooling around and drunkenness and cares of this life, and so that Day come upon you unawares.
35 For as a snare shall it come on all those who reside on the face of the whole Earth.
36 You all watch therefore, and pray always, that you all may be accounted worthy to escape all these things that shall come to pass [no cowardly pre-trib rapture-escapism implied, keep clean to avoid neighboring Mark-of-the-Beast sores, stay out of the scorching sun, and DO leave Jerusalem without taking time to pack your U-Haul?], and to stand before the Son of Man."

21 Thus says the Lord GOD: Hey, I will take the people of Israel from the nations among which they have gone, and will gather them from all sides, and bring them to their own land;
22 and I will make them one nation in the land, upon the mountains of Israel; and one king shall be king over them all; and they shall be no longer two nations, and no longer divided into two kingdoms.
23 They shall not defile themselves any more with their idols and their detestable things, or with any of their transgressions; but I will save them from all the backslidings in which they have sinned, and will cleanse them; and they shall be my people, and I will be their God.
24 My servant David shall be king over them; and they shall all have one shepherd. They shall follow my ordinances and be careful to observe my statutes.
25 They shall reside in the land where your fathers lived that I gave to my servant Jacob; they and their children and their children's children shall stay there forever; and David [Jesus, Son of David?] my servant shall be their prince forever.
26 I will make a covenant of peace with them; it shall be an everlasting covenant with them; and I will bless them and multiply them, and will set my sanctuary among them forevermore.
27 My residence place shall be with them; and I will be their God, and they shall be my people.
28 Then the nations will know that I the LORD sanctify Israel, when my sanctuary is in the midst of them forevermore."

1 The word of the LORD came to me:
2 Son of man, set your face toward Gog, of the land of Magog, the chief prince of Meshech and Tubal, and prophesy against him
3 and say, "Thus says the Lord GOD: Hey, I am against you, Gog, chief prince of Meshech and Tubal;
4 and I will turn you about, and put hooks into your jaws, and I will bring you out, and all your army, horses and horsemen, all of them clothed in full armor, a great company, all of them with buckler and shield, wielding swords;
5 Persia, Cush, and Put are with them, all of them with shield and helmet;
6 Gomer and all his hordes; Bethtogarmah from the uttermost parts of the north with all his hordes--many peoples are with you.
7 Be ready and keep ready, you and all the hosts that are assembled about you, and be a guard for them.
8 After many days you will be mustered; in the latter years you will go against the land that is restored from war, the land where people were gathered from many nations upon the mountains of Israel, which had been a continual waste; its people were brought out from the nations and now reside securely, all of them.
9 You will advance, coming on like a storm, you will be like a cloud covering the land you and all your hordes, and many peoples with you."
10 Thus says the Lord GOD: "On that day thoughts will come into your mind, and you will devise an evil scheme
11 and say, 'I will go up against the land of unwalled villages; I will fall upon the quiet people who reside securely, all of them living without walls, and having no bars or gates';
12 to seize spoil and carry off plunder; to assault the waste places which are now inhabited, and the people who were gathered from the nations, who have gotten cattle and goods, who reside at the center of the Earth [probably the surface of the Middle East, not in the molten core of planet Earth].
13 Sheba and Dedan and the merchants of Tarshish and all its villages will say to you, 'Have you come to seize spoil? Have you assembled your hosts to carry off plunder, to carry away silver and gold, to take away cattle and goods, to seize great spoil?'"
14 Therefore, son of man, prophesy, and say to Gog, "Thus says the Lord GOD: On that day when my people Israel are living securely, you will bestir yourself
15 and come from your place out of the uttermost parts of the north, you and many peoples with you, all of them riding on horses, a great host, a mighty army;
16 you will come up against my people Israel, like a cloud covering the land. In the latter days I will bring you against my land, that the nations may know me, when through you, Gog, I vindicate my holiness before their eyes."
17 "Thus says the Lord GOD: Are you he of whom I spoke in former days by my servants the prophets of Israel, who in those days prophesied for years that I would bring you against them?
18 But on that day, when Gog shall come against the land of Israel," says the Lord GOD, "my wrath will be roused.
19 For in my jealousy and in my blazing wrath, I declare, on that day there shall be a great shaking in the land of Israel;
20 the fish of the sea, and the birds of the air, and the beasts of the field, and all creeping things that creep on the ground, and all the men that are upon the face of the Earth, shall quake at my presence, and the mountains shall be thrown down, and the cliffs shall fall, and every wall shall tumble to the ground.
21 I will summon every kind of terror against Gog," says the Lord GOD, "every man's sword will be against his brother.
22 With pestilence and bloodshed I will enter into judgment against him; and I will rain upon him and his hordes and the many peoples that are with him, torrential rains and hailstones, fire and brimstone.
23 So I will show my greatness and my holiness and make myself known in the eyes of many nations. Then they will know that I am the LORD."

1 And you, son of man, prophesy against Gog, and say, "Thus says the Lord GOD: Hey, I am against you, Gog, chief prince of Meshech and Tubal;
2 and I will turn you about and drive you forward, and bring you up from the uttermost parts of the north, and lead you against the mountains of Israel;
3 then I will strike your bow from your left hand, and will make your arrows drop out of your right hand.
4 You shall fall upon the mountains of Israel, you and all your hordes and the peoples that are with you; I will give you to birds of prey of every sort and to the wild beasts to be devoured.
5 You shall fall in the open field; for I have spoken," says the Lord GOD.
6 "I will send fire on Magog and on those who reside securely in the coastlands; and they shall know that I am the LORD.
7 And my holy name I will make known in the among my people Israel; and I will not let my holy name be profaned any more; and the nations shall know that I am the LORD, the Holy One in Israel." [Gog, the Antichrist, will profane God's name for 42 months BEFORE Christ Jesus bodily returns at the Battle of Armageddon, so therefore - logically - the Battle of Gog of Magog cannot occur before the Battle of Armageddon, being that God said His holy name will not be profaned any more after the stated Battle?]
8 Hey, it is coming and it will be brought about," says the Lord GOD, "that is the day of which I have spoken.
9 "Then those who live in the cities of Israel will go out and make fires of the weapons and burn them, shields and bucklers, bows and arrows, handpikes and spears, and they will make fires of them for seven years;
10 so that they will not need to take wood out of the field or cut down any out of the forests, for they will make their fires of the weapons; they will despoil those who despoiled them, and plunder those who plundered them," says the Lord GOD.
11 "On that day I will give to Gog a place for burial in Israel, the Valley of the Travelers east of the sea; it will block the travelers, for there Gog and all his hotde will be buried; it will be called the Valley of Hamongog.
12 For seven months the house of Israel will be burying them, in order to cleanse the land.
13 All the people of the land will bury them; and it will redound to their honor on the day that I show my glory," says the Lord GOD.
14 They will set apart men to pass through the land continually and bury those remaining upon the face of the land, so as to cleanse it; at the end of seven months they will make their search.
17 As for you, son of man, thus says the Lord GOD: "Speak to the birds of every sort and to all beasts of the field, 'Assemble and come, gather from all sides to the sacrificial feast which I am preparing for you, a great sacrificial feast upon the mountains of Israel, and you shall eat flesh and drink blood [see Revelation chapter 19]. 18 You shall eat the flesh of the mighty, and drink the blood of the princes of the earth . . . of rams, of lambs, and of goats, of bulls, all of them fatlings of Bashan.
19 And you shall eat fat till you are filled, and drink blood till you are drunk, at the sacrificial feast which I am preparing for you.
20 And you shall be filled at my table with horses and riders, with mighty men and all kinds of warriors," says the Lord GOD.
21 "And I will set my glory among the nations; and all the nations shall see my judgment which I have executed, and my hand which I have laid on them.
22 The house of Israel shall know that I am the LORD their God, from that day forward.
23 And the nations shall know that the house of Israel went into captivity for their iniquity, because they dealt so treacherously with me that I hid my face from them and gave them into the hand of their adversaries, and they all fell by the sword.
24 I dealt with them according to their uncleanness and their transgressions, and hid my face from them."
25 "Therefore thus says the Lord GOD: Now I will restore the fortunes of Jacob, and have mercy upon the whole house of Israel; and I will be jealous for my holy name.
26 They shall forget their shame, and all the treachery they have practiced against me, when they reside securely in their land with none to make them afraid,
27 when I have brought them back from the peoples and gathered them from their enemies' lands, and through them have vindicated my holiness in the sight of many nations.
28 Then they shall know that I am the LORD their God because I sent them into exile among the nations, and then gathered them into their own land. I will leave none of them remaining among the nations any more;
29 and I will not hide my face any more from them, when I pour out my Spirit upon the house of Israel," says the Lord GOD.

1 And after these things, I saw another angel come down from Heaven, having great power; and the Earth was illuminated by his glory.
2 And he shouted mightily with a strong voice, saying, "Babylon the great is fallen, is fallen, and is become the habitation of devils, and the stronghold of every foul spirit, and an enclosure of every unclean and hateful bird.
3 For all nations have drunk the wine of the wrath of her fornication; and the kings of the Earth have committed fornication with her, and the merchants of the earth have grown rich through the abundance of her sensuous pleasures."
4 And I heard another voice from Heaven, saying, "Come out of her, my people, that you all be not partakers of her sins, and that you all receive not of her plagues;
5 for her sins have reached to Heaven, and God has remembered her iniquities.
6 Reward her even as she has rewarded you, and double to her according to her works; in the cup which she has filled, fill to her double.
7 How much she has glorified herself and lived voluptuously! That much torment and sorrow give back to her; for she says in her heart, `I sit a queen and am no widow, and shall see no sorrow.'
8 Therefore shall her plagues come in one day" death and mourning and famine, and she shall be utterly burned with fire; for strong is the Lord God who judges her.

1 And after these things I heard a great voice of a assembly of people in Heaven, saying, "Alleluia! Salvation and glory and honor and power, be to the Lord our God,
2 for true and righteous are His judgments: He has judged the great whore who corrupted the earth with her fornication, and has avenged the blood of His servants at her hand."
3 And again they said, "Alleluia! And her smoke rises up forever."
7 Let us be glad and rejoice and give honor to Him, for the marriage [not "wedding"] of the Lamb is come, and His wife has made herself ready."
8 And to her was granted that she should be arrayed in fine linen, clean and white; for fine linen is the righteousness of saints.
9 And the angel said to me, "Write: `Blessed are those who are called unto the marriage [not "wedding"] supper of the Lamb.'" And he said to me, "These are the true sayings of God."

10 and to wait for His Son from Heaven, whom He raised from the dead, even Jesus, who delivered us from the wrath to come.

11 All you men of Galilee, why do you all stand gazing up into heaven? This same Jesus, who is taken up from you into Heaven [NASA-rocket-style?], shall so come in like manner as you all have seen Him go into Heaven.

29 Immediately after the tribulation of those days shall the Sun be darkened and the Moon shall not give its light, and the stars shall fall from heaven and the powers of the heavens shall be shaken,
30 and then shall appear the sign of the Son of Man in heaven. And then shall all the tribes of the Earth mourn, and they shall see the Son of Man coming in the clouds of heaven with power and with great glory.
31 And He shall send His angels with a great sound of a trumpet, and they shall gather together His elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other.

1 Now we implore you, brethren, by the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ and by our gathering together to Him,
2 that you all be not soon shaken in mind or be troubled, neither by spirit, nor by word, nor by letter as if from us that the Day of Christ is at hand.
3 Let no human deceive you by any means, for that Day shall not come, unless there come a falling away first, and that Man of sin be revealed, the Son of Perdition,
4 who opposes God and exalts himself above all who is called God or that is worshiped, so that he sits as God in the temple of God, claiming himself to be God.
5 You all remember not that, when I was yet with you, I told you these things?
6 And now you all know what holds him back, that he might be revealed in his time.
7 For the mystery of iniquity does already work: only He who now holds back will hold him back, until He is taken out of the way.
8 And then shall that wicked one be revealed, whom the Lord shall consume with the spirit of His mouth, and shall destroy with the brightness of His coming
9 even him, whose coming is according to the working of Satan, with all power and signs and lying wonders,
10 and with all the deceit of non-righteousness in those who perish, because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved.
11 And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they believe a lie,
12 that they all might be damned who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in non-righteousness.

11 And I saw Heaven opened, and hey, a white horse; and He who sat upon it was called Faithful and True, and in righteousness He does judge and make war.
12 His eyes were like a flame of fire, and on His head were many crowns; and He had a name written that no man knew, but He Himself.
13 And He was clothed with a robe dipped in blood, and His name is called: The Word of God.
14 And the armies which were in Heaven, clothed in fine linen, white and clean, followed Him on white horses. [prancing on the clouds, without pissing nor pooping as they prance?]
15 And out of His mouth goes a Sharp Sword [the unique type of sword which always lethally executes humans?] with which He shall smite the nations, and He shall rule them with a rod of iron; and He treads the wine press of the fierceness and wrath of Almighty God.
16 And He has on His robe and on His thigh a name written: King of Kings, and Lord of Lords.
17 And I saw an angel standing in the Sun, and he shouted with a loud voice, saying to all the fowls that fly in the middle of heaven, "Come and gather yourselves together to the supper of the great God,
18 that you all may eat the flesh of kings, and the flesh of captains, and the flesh of mighty humans, and the flesh of horses and those who sit on them, and the flesh of all humans, both free and bond, both small and great."
19 And I saw the Beast, and the kings of the Earth, and their armies [with nuclear-armament laser-guided missiles?], gathered together to make war against Him who sat on the horse, and against His army.
20 And the Beast was taken, and with him the False Prophet who wrought wonders in his presence, by which he deceived those who had received the mark of the Beast, and those who worshiped his image. These both were thrown alive into a lake of fire, burning with brimstone.
21 And the remnant were slain with the sword of Him who sat upon the horse, whose sword proceeded out of His mouth. And all the fowls were filled with their flesh.

1 And I saw an angel come down from Heaven, having the key to the abyss and a great chain in his hand.
2 And he laid hold on the dragon, that old serpent, who is the Devil and Satan, and bound him for a thousand years [not 958 nor 5327 nor 334 nor 15 years nor 673 nor 9836 nor 8544 nor 86 years?].
3 And he threw him into the abyss, and shut him up and set a seal upon him, that he should deceive the nations no more until the thousand [not 14 nor 467 nor 2324 nor 9844 nor 4 nor 186 nor 56 nor 8889?] years should be fulfilled; and after that he must be loosed a little while.
4 And I saw thrones and those who sat upon them, and judgment was given to them. And I saw the souls of those who had been beheaded [by guillotine or chainsaw?] for their witness to Jesus and for the Word of God, and who had not worshiped the beast, nor his image, nor had received his mark upon their foreheads or in their hands; and they lived and reigned with Christ a thousand [not 578 nor 8743 nor 2345 nor 5678 nor 2 nor 37 nor 86 nor 873?] years.
5 But the rest of the dead [Luther? Bach? Falwell? St Peter? Dwight Moody?] lived not again until the thousand years were finished. This is the First Resurrection.
6 Blessed and holy is he who has part in the First Resurrection: on such the Second Death has no power, but they shall be priests of God and of Christ, and shall reign with Him a thousand years.
7 And when the thousand years have expired, Satan shall be loosed out of his prison,
8 and shall go out to deceive the nations to the four quarters of the earth --Gog and Magog -- [here we go again, like 1000 years previously?] to gather them together for battle, the number of whom is as the sand of the sea.
9 And they went out over the breadth of the Earth, and surrounded the camp of the saints, and the Beloved City. And fire came down from God out of heaven, and devoured them.
10 And the Devil who had deceived them was thrown into the Lake of Fire and Brimstone, where the Beast and the False Prophet are; and they shall be tormented day and night [i.e. 24/7 - in the Outer Darkness?] forever.

9 the Lord knows how to rescue the godly out of temptations and to reserve the injust to the Day of Judgment to be punished,
17 These are wells without water, clouds that are carried by a tempest, for whom the mist of darkness is reserved forever.

7 But the heavens and the earth which now are, by the same Word are reserved for fire against the Day of Judgment and perdition of godless humans.
8 But, beloved, be not ignorant of this one thing: that with the Lord one day is [euphemistically] as [not equivalent to NOR the same as?] a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day.
9 The Lord is not slack regarding His promise, as some humans count slackness, but is patient toward us, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.
10 But THE Day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night [steal away?], in which the heavens shall pass away with a great noise, and the elements shall dissolve with fervent heat. The earth also and the works that are therein shall be burned up.
11 Seeing then that all these things shall be annihilated, what manner of persons ought you all to be in all holy manner of living and godliness,
12 looking for and speeding up the coming of THE Day of God, wherein the heavens, being on fire, shall be dissolved and the elements shall be annihilated with fervent heat.
13 Nevertheless we, according to His promise, look for new heavens and a new earth, wherein resides righteousness.

13 But I would not have you to be ignorant, brethren, concerning those who are asleep, that you all sorrow not, even as others who have no hope.
14 For if we believe that Jesus died and rose, even so will God bring with Him those also who "sleep" [i.e. dead as a doornail, as was Lazarus?] in Jesus.
15 For this we say to you by the Word of the Lord: that we who are alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord, shall not precede those who are "asleep."
16 For the Lord Himself shall descend from Heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel and with the Trumpet of God; and the dead in Christ shall rise first;
17 then we who are alive and remain [AFTER the Millennium, WHEN Heaven and Earth dissolve in fervent heat, and thus THE ONLY Rapture which will occur for "The Church" - whatever that is] shall be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And so shall we ever be with the Lord.

11 And I saw a Great White Throne and Him who sat on it, from whose face the Earth and the Heavens fled away, and there was found no place for them.
12 And I saw the dead, small and great, standing before God, and the books were opened; and another book was opened, which is the Book of Life. And the dead were judged out of those things which were written in the books, according to their works. {Everyone gets resurrected - both the righteous and the wicked!]
13 And the sea gave up the dead who were in it; and death and hades delivered up the dead which were in them; and they were judged every human according to their works.

6 For it is a righteous thing with God to recompense with tribulation those who trouble you;
7 and to you who are troubled, rest with us, when the Lord Jesus shall be revealed from Heaven with His mighty angels,
8 in flaming fire taking vengeance on those who know not God, and who obey not the Gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ.
9 These shall be punished with everlasting destruction [Sorry - NO annihilation out of existence!] from the presence of the Lord and from the glory of His power, [always more regenerated body parts of the damned to painfully burn over and over forever?/]
10 when He shall come on that Day to be glorified in His saints and to be admired in all those who believe, because our testimony among you was believed.

1 At that time shall arise Michael, the great prince who has charge of your people. And there shall be a time of trouble, such as never has been since there was a nation till that time; but at that time your people shall be delivered, every one whose name shall be found written in the book.
2 And many of those who sleep in the dust of the earth shall awake, some to everlasting life, and some to shame and everlasting contempt. [see Matthew chapter 25 and Revelation chapter 20?]
3 And those who are wise shall shine like the brightness of the firmament; and those who turn many to righteousness, like the stars forever.

20 But as it is, Christ has risen from the dead, and become the first fruits of those who "slept" [euphemism for death?]. 21 For since by man came death [not a euphemism this time, but literal?], by Man came also the resurrection [again, NO euphemism this time?] of the dead.
22 For as in Adam all die, even so in Christ shall all be made alive;
23 but every human in his own order: Christ the firstfruits; afterward those who are Christ's at His coming.
24 Then comes the end when He shall have delivered up the Kingdom to God, even the Father, when He shall have put down all rule, and all authority and power.
25 For He must reign until He has put all enemies under His feet.
26 The last enemy which shall be destroyed is death,
35 But some human will say, "How are the dead raised up? And with what body do they come?"
36 You fool [thanks a lot for the perhaps-needless-and-rude? accusatory remark, know-it-all! It's a heck of a way to try to get us to listen up and pay attention! Were we supposed to know what we obviously did not know being that we asked an innocent question, and if we had known the answer already, why would we have asked it in the first place?], that which you plant is not quickened, unless it die.
37 And that which you plant is not that body which shall be, but bare grain, by chance of wheat or of some other grain.
38 But God gives it a body as it has pleased Him, and to every seed his own body.
39 All flesh is not the same flesh; but there is one kind of flesh of men, another flesh of beasts, another of fishes, and another of birds.
40 There are also celestial bodies and bodies terrestrial; but the glory of the celestial is one, and the glory of the terrestrial is another.
41 There is one glory of the Sun, and another glory of the Moon, and another glory of the stars; for one star differs from another star in glory.
42 So also is the resurrection of the dead: It is planted in corruption; it is raised in incorruption.
43 It is planted in dishonor; it is raised in glory. It is planted in weakness; it is raised in power.
44 It is planted a natural body; it is raised a spiritual body. There is a natural body, and there is a spiritual body.
45 And so it is written: "The first man Adam was made a living soul." The last Adam was made a quickening Spirit.
46 However that which is spiritual was not first, but that which is natural, and afterward that which is spiritual.
47 The first man is of the earth, earthy; the second Man is the Lord from Heaven.
48 As is the earthy, such are they also that are earthy; and as is the heavenly, such are they also that are heavenly.
49 And as we have borne the image of the earthy, we shall also bear the image of the heavenly.
50 Now this I say, brethren, that flesh and blood cannot inherit the Kingdom of God; neither does corruption inherit incorruption.
51 Hey, I show you a mystery: We shall not all sleep; but we shall all be changed
52 in a moment, in the blinking of an eye, at the last trumpet. For the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed.
53 For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality.
54 So when this corruptible shall have put on incorruption, and this mortal shall have put on immortality, then shall be brought to pass the saying that is written: "Death is swallowed up in victory."
55 "Death, where is your sting? Grave, where is your victory?" [Why personify abstractions which obviously cannot talk back to us?]
57 But thanks be to God, who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ!

31 When the Son of Man shall come in His glory and all the holy angels with Him, then shall He sit upon the throne of His glory.
32 And before Him shall be gathered all nations, and He shall separate them one from another as a shepherd divides his sheep from the goats.
33 And He shall set the [euphemistic?] sheep on His right hand, but the [euphemistic?] goats at His left.
34 Then shall the King say to those on His right hand, `Come, all you blessed of My Father, inherit the Kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world.
35 For I hungered, and you all gave Me meat; I was thirsty, and you all gave Me drink; I was a stranger, and you all took Me in;
36 naked, and you all clothed Me; I was sick, and you all visited Me; I was in prison, and you all came to Me.'
37 Then shall the righteous answer Him, saying, `Lord, when saw we You hungering and fed You, or thirsty and gave You drink?
38 When saw we You a stranger and took You in, or naked and clothed You?
39 Or when saw we You sick or in prison and came to You?'
40 And the King shall answer and say to them, `Truly I say to you, inasmuch as you all have done it to one of the least of these My brethren, you all have done it to Me.'
41 Then shall He say also to those on the left hand, `Leave Me, all you cursed, into Everlasting Fire prepared for the Devil and his angels. [actually: demons?]
42 For I hungered, and you all gave Me no food; I was thirsty, and you all gave Me no drink;
43 I was a stranger, and you all took Me not in; naked, and you all clothed Me not; sick and in prison, and you all visited Me not.'
44 Then shall they also answer Him, saying, `Lord, [even the damned-to-become call Jesus 'Lord?"] when saw we You hungering or thirsty or a stranger, or naked or sick or in prison, and did not minister to You?'
45 Then shall He answer them, saying, `Truly I say to you, inasmuch as you all did it not to one of the least of these, you all did it not to Me.'
46 And these shall go away into everlasting punishment, [again: NO annihilation out of existence?] but the righteous into life eternal."

14 And Death and Hades [both being mere abstractions?] were thrown into the Lake of Fire. This is the Second Death.
15 And whoever was not found written in the Book of Life was thrown into the Lake of Fire.

19 For the creation waits with eager longing for the revealing of the sons of God;
20 for the creation was subjected to futility, not of its own will but by the will of Him who subjected it in hope [who imposed the stumbling blocks of the Tempter and the lethal Tree of the Knowledge of Good and Evil in the Garden of Eden, and thus consigned all things to sin that He might have understandably-compensatory mercy upon all];
21 because the creation itself will be set free from its bondage to decay and obtain the glorious liberty of the children of God.
22 We know that the whole creation has been groaning in travail together until now;
23 and not only the creation, but we ourselves, who have the first fruits of the Spirit, groan inwardly as we wait for adoption as sons, the redemption of our bodies.

6 And I will give peace in the land, and you shall lie down, and none shall make you afraid; and I will remove evil beasts from the land, and the sword shall not go through your land.

6 The wolf shall live with the lamb, and the leopard shall lie down with the kid, and the calf and the lion and the fatling together, and a little child shall lead them.
7 The cow and the bear shall feed; their young shall lie down together; and the lion shall eat straw like the ox.
8 The sucking child shall play over the hole of the asp, and the weaned child shall put his hand on the adder's den.
9 They shall not hurt or destroy in all my holy mountain; for the Earth shall be full of the knowledge of the LORD as the waters cover the sea.
10 In that day the root of Jesse shall stand as an ensign to the peoples; Him shall the nations seek, and His places of abode shall be glorious.
11 In that day the Lord will extend His hand yet a second time to recover the remnant which is left of his people, from Assyria, from Egypt, from Pathros, from Ethiopia, from Elam, from Shinar, from Hamath, and from the coastlands of the sea.
12 He will raise an ensign for the nations, and will assemble the outcasts of Israel, and gather the dispersed of Judah from the four corners of the Earth [on a round globe, with the four directions of east, north, west, and south?].
13 The jealousy of Ephraim shall depart, and those who harass Judah shall be cut off; Ephraim shall not be jealous of Judah, and Judah shall not harass Ephraim.
14 But they shall swoop down upon the shoulder of the Philistines in the west, and together they shall plunder the people of the east. They shall put forth their hand against Edom and Moab, and the Ammonites shall obey them.
15 And the LORD will utterly destroy the tongue of the sea of Egypt; and will wave his hand over the River with his scorching wind, and smite it into seven channels that men may cross dryshod.
16 And there will be a highway from Assyria for the remnant which is left of his people, as there was for Israel when they came up from the land of Egypt.

20 No more shall there be in it an infant that lives but a few days, or an old man who does not fill out his days, for the child shall die a hundred years old, and the sinner a hundred years old shall be accursed.

1 Hey, a day of the LORD is coming, when the spoil taken from you will be divided among you.
2 For I will gather all the nations against Jerusalem to battle, and the city shall be taken and the houses plundered and the women raped; half of the city shall go into exile, but the rest of the people shall not be cut off from the city.
3 Then the LORD will go forth and fight against those nations as when he fights on a day of battle. [- of Armageddon. See Revelation chapter 19]
4 On that day His feet shall stand on the Mount of Olives which lies before Jerusalem on the east; and the Mount of Olives shall be split in two from east to west by a very wide valley; so that one half of the Mount shall withdraw northward, and the other half southward.
5 And the valley of my mountains shall be stopped up, for the valley of the mountains shall touch the side of it; and you shall flee as you fled from the earthquake in the days of Uzziah king of Judah. Then the LORD your God will come, and all the holy ones with Him.
6 On that day there shall be neither cold nor frost.
7 And there shall be continuous day (it is known to the LORD), not day and not night, for at evening time there shall be light.
8 On that day living waters shall flow out from Jerusalem, half of them to the eastern sea and half of them to the western sea; it shall continue in summer as in winter.
9 And the LORD will become king over all the earth; on that day the LORD will be one and his name one.
10 The whole land shall be turned into a plain from Geba to Rimmon south of Jerusalem. But Jerusalem shall remain aloft upon its site from the Gate of Benjamin to the place of the former gate, to the Corner Gate, and from the Tower of Hananel to the king's wine presses.
11 And it shall be inhabited, for there shall be no more curse; Jerusalem shall stay in security.
12 And this shall be the plague with which the LORD will smite all the peoples that wage war against Jerusalem: their flesh shall rot while they are still on their feet, their eyes shall rot in their sockets, and their tongues shall rot in their mouths.
13 And on that day a great panic from the LORD shall fall on them, so that each will lay hold on the hand of his buddy, and the hand of the one will be raised against the hand of the other;
14 even Judah will fight against Jerusalem. And the wealth of all the nations round about shall be collected, gold, silver, and garments in great abundance.
15 And a plague like this plague shall fall on the horses, the mules, the camels, the asses, and whatever beasts may be in those camps.
16 Then every one that survives of all the nations that have come against Jerusalem shall go up year after year to worship the King, the LORD of hosts, and to keep the feast of booths.
17 And if any of the families of the earth do not go up to Jerusalem to worship the King, the LORD of hosts, there will be no rain upon them.
18 And if the family of Egypt do not go up and present themselves, then upon them shall come the plague with which the LORD afflicts the nations that do not go up to keep the feast of booths.
19 This shall be the punishment to Egypt and the punishment to all the nations that do not go up to keep the feast of booths.
20 And on that day there shall be inscribed on the bells of the horses, "Holy to the LORD." And the pots in the house of the LORD shall be as the bowls before the altar;
21 and every pot in Jerusalem and Judah shall be sacred to the LORD of hosts, so that all who sacrifice may come and take of them and boil the flesh of the sacrifice in them. And there shall no longer be a trader in the house of the LORD of hosts on that day.

2 And I, John, saw the holy city, New Jerusalem, coming down from God out of Heaven, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband.
3 And I heard a great voice out of Heaven, saying, "Hey, the tabernacle of God is with humans, and He will reside with them; and they shall be His people, and God Himself shall be with them and be their God.
4 And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes, and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain; for the former things are passed away."
5 And He that sat upon the throne said, "Hey, I make all things news." And He said to me, "Write, for these words are true and faithful."
6 And He said to me, "It is done. I am Alpha and Omega, the Beginning and the End. [Human perception of starting-and-finish measurement of all types - relating to sentient determination of height, width, depth, and time duration] I will give to him who is thirsty of the fountain of the water of life freely.
7 He who overcomes shall inherit all things; and I will be his God, and he shall be my son.
8 But the fearful and disbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burns with fire and brimstone, which is the Second Death."
9 And there came to me one of the seven angels, who had the seven vials full of the seven last plagues, and talked with me, saying, "Come here; I will show you the bride, the Lamb's wife."
10 And he carried me away in the Spirit to a great and high mountain, and showed me that great city, the Holy Jerusalem, descending out of Heaven from God,
11 having the glory of God. And its light was like a stone most precious, even like a jasper stone, clear as crystal.
12 It had a wall great and high, and had twelve gates, and at the gates twelve angels; and names were written thereon, which are the names of the twelve tribes of the offspring of Israel:
13 on the east three gates, on the north three gates, on the south three gates, and on the west three gates.
14 And the wall of the city had twelve foundations, and on them the names of the twelve apostles of the Lamb.
15 And he who talked with me had a golden measuring rod to measure the city, and the gates thereof and the walls thereof.
16 And the city lies foursquare, and the length is as great as the breadth; and he measured the city with the rod: twelve thousand furlongs; the length and the breadth and the height of it are equal.
17 And he measured the wall thereof: a hundred and forty and four cubits, according to the measure of a human, that is, of the angel.
18 And the wall was built of jasper; and the city was pure gold, like clear glass.
19 And the foundations of the wall of the city were garnished with all manner of precious stones: the first foundation was jasper, the second sapphire, the third chalcedony, the fourth emerald,
20 the fifth sardonyx, the sixth sardius, the seventh chrysolite, the eighth beryl, the ninth topaz, the tenth chrysoprase, the eleventh jacinth, and the twelfth amethyst.
21 And the twelve gates were twelve pearls; each separate gate was of one pearl, and the street of the city was pure gold, like transparent glass.
22 And I saw no temple therein, for the Lord God Almighty and the Lamb are the temple of it.
23 And the city had no need of the Sun, neither of the Moon to shine in it; for the glory of God gave it light, and the Lamb is the light thereof.
24 And the nations of those who are saved shall walk in the light of it, and the kings of the earth bring their glory and honor into it.
25 And the gates of it shall not be shut at all by day, for there shall be no night there,
26 and they shall bring the glory and honor of the nations into it.
27 And there shall by no means enter into it anything that defiles, nor whatever works abomination, nor makes a lie, but only those who are written in the Lamb's Book of Life.

1 And he showed me a pure river of the Water of Life, clear as crystal, proceeding out of the throne of God and of the Lamb.
2 In the middle of the street of it, and on either side of the river, there was the Tree of Life, which bore twelve kinds of fruit and yielded its fruit every month; and the leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations.
3 And there shall be no more curse, but the throne of God and of the Lamb shall be in it, and His servants shall serve Him.
4 And they shall see His face, and His name shall be on their foreheads. [NOT 666?]
5 And there shall be no night there, and they will need no candle, neither light of the Sun; for the Lord God gives them light. And they shall reign to the ages of the ages.
6 And the angel said to me, "These sayings are faithful and true," and the Lord God of the holy prophets sent His angel to show to His servants the things which must soon be done.
7 "Hey, I come quickly." Blessed is he who keeps the sayings of the prophecy of this book.
8 And I, John, saw these things and heard them. And when I had heard and seen, I fell down to worship before the feet of the angel who showed me these things. [NO worship of angels or the Virgin Mary, please?]
9 Then said he to me, "See that you do it not, for I am your fellow servant, and of your brethren the prophets, and of those who keep the sayings of this book. Worship God!"
10 And he said to me, "Seal not the sayings of the prophecy of this book, for the time is at hand.
11 He who is injust, let him be injust still; and he who is filthy, let him be filthy still; and he who is righteous, let him be righteous still; and he who is holy, let him be holy still. [TOO late to change - NO purgatory possible?]
12 And hey, I come quickly, and My reward is with Me, to give to every human according as their work shall be.
13 I am Alpha and Omega, the Beginning and the End, the First and the Last."
14 Blessed are they who do His commandments [with or without washed robes], that they may have right to the Tree of Life, and may enter in through the gates into the city.
15 For outside are dogs and sorcerers, and whoremongers and murderers and idolaters, and whoever loves and makes a lie.
16 "I, Jesus, have sent my angel to testify to you these things in the churches. I am the Root and the Offspring of David, and the Bright and Morning Star."
17 And the Spirit and the bride say, "Come." And let him who hears say, "Come." And let him who is thirsty come; and whoever will, let him take the Water of Life freely.
18 For I testify to every human who hears the words of the prophecy of this book: If any human shall add to these things, God shall add to them the plagues that are written in this book.
19 And if any human shall take away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God shall take away their part out of the Book of Life and out of the Holy City, and from the things which are written in this book.
