Reincarnation?

There are, among some people, the superstitious misbelief of what they call: "reincarnation."

Isa 5:20 Woe to those who call evil good and good evil, who put darkness for light and light for darkness, who put bitter for sweet and sweet for bitter!
Isa 30:1 "Woe to the rebellious children," says the LORD, "who carry out a plan, but not mine; and who make a league, but not of my spirit, that they may add sin to sin;
Isa 33:1 Woe to you, destroyer, who yourself have not been destroyed; you treacherous one, with whom none has dealt treacherously! When you have ceased to destroy, you will be destroyed; and when you have made an end of dealing treacherously, you will be dealt with treacherously.
Isa 45:9 "Woe to him who strives with his Maker, an earthen vessel with the potter! Does the clay say to him who fashions it, 'What are you making'? or 'Your work has no handles'?
Isa 45:10 Woe to him who says to a father, 'What are you begetting?' or to a woman, 'With what are you in travail?'"

If I am not mistaken, the cultic concoction of "reincarnation" is indigenous to those of "New-Age" mis-"enlightenment" along with those of the Hindu mis-religion (not faith) who worship cows which they mis-consider "sacred":

Jer 2:27 who say to a tree, 'You are my father,' and to a stone, 'You gave me birth.' For they have turned their back to me, and not their face. But in the time of their trouble they say, 'Arise and save us!'

Ro 1:23 and exchanged the glory of the immortal God for images resembling mortal man or birds or animals or reptiles.
Ro 1:25 because they exchanged the truth about God for a lie and worshiped and served the creature rather than the Creator, who is blessed for ever! Amen.

As I am not an expert in the wacko details of heretical evolution and the latest connivings and deceitful non-scientific presumptions and lies of those specializing in the useless pseudo-knowledge of such anti-creationist tripe, I am not an expert in the religious cultic details of "reincarnation."

The little I think I do know about it is that "reincarnation" is dying as a human and being re-born as an animal or a different human.

As always, comparing the beliefs or misbeliefs of any idea or concept to what The Sacred-66-books Holy Bible has to state relating to them....is an absolute given, and expediently vital.

Offhand, a few Scripture verses immediately come to mind:

Job 11:12 But a stupid man will get understanding, when a wild ass's colt is born a man.

Ga 1:8 But even if we, or an angel from heaven, should preach to you a gospel contrary to that which we preached to you, let him be accursed.
Ga 1:9 As we have said before, so now I say again, If any one is preaching to you a gospel contrary to that which you received, let him be accursed.

Now, as I recall, there are references in God's Word which allude to being reborn, in which a new man emerges:

Joh 3:3 Jesus answered him, "Truly, truly, I say to you, unless one is born anew, he cannot see the kingdom of God."
Joh 3:7 Do not marvel that I said to you, 'You must be born anew.'

Eph 2:15 by abolishing in his flesh the law of commandments and ordinances, that he might create in himself one new man in place of the two, so making peace,

1Pe 1:3 Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ! By his great mercy we have been born anew to a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead,
1Pe 1:23 You have been born anew, not of perishable seed but of imperishable, through the living and abiding word of God;

However, in the case of the cultic idea of non-Christian "reincarnation," what is intended - as I see it - is a dishonorable and despicable attempt to escape the mistakes of one's error-prone life as a fallible human by presuming that, after death of the fallible human, a mistake-free human will either come into existence as another and clean-slate human, or even an animal without moral perception and capacity, and thus without obligations of God-mandated morality. That, of course, would obviously be another accursed gospel, which Saint Paul so vehemently condemned.

How things are in actuality, and will be instead as Scripture informs us, is:

Heb 9:24 For Christ has entered, not into a sanctuary made with hands, a copy of the true one, but into heaven itself, now to appear in the presence of God on our behalf.
25 Nor was it to offer himself repeatedly, as the high priest enters the Holy Place yearly with blood not his own;
26 for then he would have had to suffer repeatedly since the foundation of the world. But as it is, he has appeared once for all at the end of the age to put away sin by the sacrifice of himself.
27 And just as it is appointed for men to die once, and after that comes judgment,
28 so Christ, having been offered once to bear the sins of many, will appear a second time, not to deal with sin but to save those who are eagerly waiting for him.

Closely related to the cultic oddity of "reincarnation" is the cultic catholic oddity of "purgatory" which - again - is another accursed gospel which Paul would violently detest. Both cultic oddities are a vain and futile attempt to negate and avoid one's moral responsibility during this their earthly life before they go before the Lord in judgment after their death. Even the cultic catholic concoction of petitioning to or praying to the deceased human Mary (the mother of Jesus, but not the mother of [the Triune] God), or earth-goddess Sophia, to ask God herself to forgive the sins of the cultic-catholic petitioner is a ridiculous and blasphemous attempt to bypass and avoid direct encounter with Christ Jesus, our only Mediator, Redeemer, Saviour, and Lord:

De 18:9 "When you come into the land which the LORD your God gives you, you shall not learn to follow the abominable practices of those nations.
10 There shall not be found among you any one who burns his son or his daughter as an offering, any one who practices divination, a soothsayer, or an augur, or a sorcerer,
11 or a charmer, or a medium, or a wizard, or a necromancer.

So scrap Harry Potter. The inferior-gender weaker-sex authoress who contrived such garbage has already made her millions. Leave it to a woman to screw things up.....again:

Ec 7:28 .....One man among a thousand I found, but a woman among all these I have not found.

1Ti 2:14 ......and Adam was not deceived, but the woman was deceived and became a transgressor.

Isa 8:19 And when they say to you, "Consult the mediums and the wizards who chirp and mutter," should not a people consult their God? Should they consult the dead on behalf of the living?

1Ti 2:5 For there is one God, and there is one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus,
6 who gave himself as a ransom for all, the testimony to which was borne at the proper time.

Moreover, though living humans have been instructed to reconciliatingly confess grievances and only certain sins to one another, and to pray for one another, in accord with:

Ps 51:4 Against thee, thee only, have I sinned, and done that which is evil in thy sight, so that thou art justified in thy sentence and blameless in thy judgment.

Mt 5:23 So if you are offering your gift at the altar, and there remember that your brother has something against you,
24 leave your gift there before the altar and go; first be reconciled to your brother, and then come and offer your gift.

1Co 4:4 I am not aware of anything against myself, but I am not thereby acquitted. It is the Lord who judges me.

1Ti 2:1 First of all, then, I urge that supplications, prayers, intercessions, and thanksgivings be made for all men,

Jas 5:16 Therefore confess your sins to one another, and pray for one another, that you may be healed. The prayer of a righteous man has great power in its effects.

the only valid and worthy Intercessor between God and man is not the virgin Mary, nor prayers or petitions to any other dead saint or so-called "church"-decreed "saint:"

1Sa 2:25 If a man sins against a man, God will mediate for him; but if a man sins against the LORD, who can intercede for him?" But they would not listen to the voice of their father; for it was the will of the LORD to slay them.

Jer 7:16 "As for you, do not pray for this people, or lift up cry or prayer for them, and do not intercede with me, for I do not hear you.

Ro 8:26 Likewise the Spirit helps us in our weakness; for we do not know how to pray as we ought, but the Spirit himself intercedes for us with sighs too deep for words.
Ro 8:27 And he who searches the hearts of men knows what is the mind of the Spirit, because the Spirit intercedes for the saints according to the will of God.
Ro 8:34 who is to condemn? Is it Christ Jesus, who died, yes, who was raised from the dead, who is at the right hand of God, who indeed intercedes for us?

Heb 7:25 Consequently he is able for all time to save those who draw near to God through him, since he always lives to make intercession for them.

In a nutshell, the cultic and heretic misbelief of "reincarnation" is a non-natural-phenomenon, foolishly-silly, demonically-deviant misconstuence and substitutionary replacement attempt against shirking moral accountability in this temporal human life - contrary to being "born from above" through the Holy Spirit by belief in Jesus Christ as The One and Only Perfect Atonement against sins.
