Sex, in Heaven?

Perhaps it would have been more palatable for most persons, particularly the prudish, to have titled this webpage: "Children Produced in Heaven?" instead of what it now reads.

Yours truly is, of course, not insinuating that you, the reader, are of a prudish immentality, but he is inferring that it will be difficult concerning those (who hopefully have regretfully experienced varying types and degrees of lewd and lurid utilization of massage or escort harlots or equivalent and/or porn of all sorts) with "dirty minds" who, in repressed shame, castigate all things erotic with demonically-tainted disgust and abhorrence.

Concerning those of us (you not necessarily included in the "us") who infrequently became "one body" with either porn or prostitutes or both in times past can thank and praise God for the sexual pulchritude we apprehensively enjoyed which He permitted while simultaneously despising the marriagelessness immorality of hideously faithless acts committed.

Ironically, the identical phrase: "become one body" seems to apply to both "having sex" (whatever "sex" is, contrasted to what it is not) with a harlot-masseuse/escort whore or whores or equivalent, and/or with the wife and/or concubine(s) with who one is presently in a state of State-licensed or non-licensed common-law-type matrimony:

First Corinthians 6:16 Do you not know that he who joins himself to a prostitute becomes one body with her? For, as it is written, "The two shall become one flesh."

Ephesians 5:31 "For this reason a man shall leave his father and mother and be joined to his wife, and the two shall become one flesh."

What differentiates the immoral "becoming one flesh" mentioned above in First Corinthians 6:16 from the moral "becoming one flesh" mentioned in Ephesians 5:31 is that Satan does the joining in the former whereas God does the joining in the latter, and:

Matthew 19:6 So they are no longer two but one flesh. What therefore God has joined together, let not humans pull or break apart."
Mark 10:9 What therefore God has joined together, let not humanity fragment."

However, Paul's apparent equating of reliance on Jesus as The Atoner instead of former vain attempts at doing mixed-bag works for self-justification . . . with a widow re-marrying a [ new and/or better? ] replacement husband after the death of her first husband (Romans 7:1-4) is at worst nearly heretical and at best a strange and weird mystery hard to explain (Second Peter 3:16), seemingly self-contradicted by Paul's own advice for a woman to remain single rather than re-marry (First Corinthians 7:39-40) and even more so by Paul's assessment that a widow who remarries "violates her first pledge:"

First Timothy 5:11 But refuse to enroll younger-women [ Gr. ne(o)teras ] widows [ Gr. ch(e)ras ]; for when they grow wanton against Christ they desire to marry,
First Timothy 5:12 and so they incur condemnation for having violated their first pledge.

And concerning those who do "violate their first pledge" by remarrying [ for whatever cause, whether by death of the previous husband, or becoming an adulteress-by-default-by-remarrying [ even? ] if their former husband was to blame for causing and initiating the divorce ], there seems to be allowance depending upon bizarre circumstances in certain cases:

Matthew 19:8 He said to them, "For your hardness of heart Moses allowed you to divorce your wives, but from the beginning it was not so.
9 And I say to you: whoever divorces his wife, except for [ her? ] sexual infidelity, and marries another [ who might become as bad or worse ], commits adultery."
10 The disciples said to Him, "If such is the case of a man with his wife, it is better/good to not marry." [ Why take a chance getting married at all to some gal who might eventually adulterize or willfully becomes or already is perhaps-even-lethally defective in some way? ]
11 But He said to them, "Not all [ men? ] can receive this saying, but only those to whom it is given.
12 For there are genitally non-reproductive who have been so from birth, and there are genitally non-reproductive who have been made genitally non-reproductive by humans, and there are genitally non-reproductive who have made themselves genitally non-reproductive for the sake of the kingdom of heaven. [ He? ] who is able to receive this, let [ him? ] receive it."

Moral of the story? Do not cause a wife to become an adulteress by you, as her husband, not properly performing as a working husband?

It takes two to tango.

Perhaps questionable it is to the judgmental, who perhaps-hypocritically consider themselves as pure as the freshly-driven white snow (yet maybe with proverbial logs and not mere specks in their own eyes), to accept sexually-oriented advice and enlightenment from those penitent with somewhat sordid sexual histories.

Such self-aggrandizers should, however, realize that even those who have sensuously defiled themselves (consider Bathsheba's adulterer-reputation King David) or have been so defiled can base their worthwhile research and sacred evaluations on the Word of God, and both interpret and apply such discernment righteously and correctly with the gracious and trustworthy inspiration and direction of the Holy Spirit of Jesus Christ.

As we all probably already know, our primal parents Adam and Eve were both created by God "birthday-suit" naked, and meant to continue that way, reproduce that way, and reside in what would have been a holy-nudist-park society of humans populating the surface of planet Earth (when not engaged in enterprises requiring protective gear).

Indeed, the complete contents of especially the Old Testament, but even the New, suggest that copulative coitus of humans sometimes resulting in pregnancy and childbirth are intimately related to not simply partial but complete human nakedness to fulfill God's first directive toward humanity to "Multiply . . . " (in Genesis chapter one).

Not only references to illicit human nakedness for fornication or adultery are profuse within the Torah (who knows what bared female body parts incestualizing? geneology-of-Christ, widowed-thus-single Judah, mentioned in Genesis 38:1-26, saw of his somewhat-sexually-deprived twice-widowed-thus-single daughter-in-law Tamar regarding or not necessarily concerning their "old-fart/young-tart" one-timer, age differential reminiscent of Ruth 3:10?), plus the books of Isaiah (chapters 3 and 20 and 47) and Jeremiah (chapter 2), Ezekiel (chapters 16 and 23) and Hosea (chapter 2), and more, but allegorical or metaphorical references to legitimate spousal mutual nudity are found in the flowery prose of the Song of Solomon (particularly chapter 7 of such) which (except in the warped and twisted opinions of heretical apostates) applies not only to "Christ the Husband of His Bride the Church," but logically and certainly also having practical and literal male-human-with-female-human sexually-oriented intentions.

Recently, I listened to an islamic young man at a local gasoline service station who claimed that even though Mohammed (who lived about 500 years after Jesus Christ) probably had access (directly or indirectly) to written or word-of-mouth contents of both the Old and New Testaments of the Sacred-66-books Judeo-Christian Holy Bible, Mohammed [according to the islamic young man] was a "Prophet" who acknowledged that he was a cousin to Isaac and thus the Jews but (again, according to the islamic young man) was on par with Jesus, and the Qur'an [supposedly] contains what was missing in the Bible (so he said).

Once he blattered that to me, I had no alternative but to disassociate away from him. I cannot stand having adiaphora nor apocrypha added to canonical Sacred Scripture.

Galatians 3:15 To give a human example, brethren: no one annuls even a man's will, or adds to it, once it has been ratified.
Revelation 22:18 I warn every one who hears the words of the prophecy of this Book: if any one adds to them, God will add to him the plagues described in this Book.

But much of that additional stuff is characteristic of persons who are not controlled by the Spirit.

Ever since Eve disobeyed the one and only command that God gave them when she and Adam were home alone in The Garden with the Tempting-Serpent Devil (i.e. 'Do not eat of the fruit of The Forbidden Tree), that singular command became Ten Commandments, then a whole glob of them within a lengthy-but-thankfully-limited-content Pentateuch of do-and-don't Law.

Galatians 3:19 Why then The Law? It was added because of transgressions, till the Offspring should come to whom the promise had been made; and it was ordained by angels through an intermediary.

So, we now have a complicated conglomeration of laws, statutes, regulations more complex than the IRS Tax Code:

Isaiah 28:10 For it is precept upon precept, precept upon precept, line upon line, line upon line, here a little, there a little.
Isaiah 28:13 Therefore the word of the LORD will be to them precept upon precept, precept upon precept, line upon line, line upon line, here a little, there a little; that they may go, and fall backward, and be broken, and snared, and taken.

Thankfully, Christians are not driven by such nitpicky restrictiveness, nor is there any need to bob one's head back and forth in front of some Herod-built Wailing Wall, but rather morally and modestly cooperate with the Lord out of appreciative love:

Romans 8:2 For "the law" of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus has set me free from "the law of sin and death."

Committed sins are never atoned for by ingesting eucharist nor offering any human sacrifice to the Lord, nor somewhat-futile attempts at obeying any or every jot and tittle of The Law (be that ceremonial or moral), for there is only one thing that atones -- which is the bloody crucifixion of Christ Jesus on a cross around 2000 years ago in Israel, and believing that such is so (which is known as: The Christian Gospel) . . . in accord with the sacrificial system initiated by the Abraham-almost-knifing-Isaac-to-death event mentioned in the book of Genesis and elaborated upon with various tediously-repetitive ceremonial slaughterings of sheep/goats/rams/birds laboriously laid out within The Torah of Moses.

Proverbs 16:6 By loyalty and faithfulness iniquity is atoned for, and by the fear of the LORD a man avoids evil.

. . . regardless of:

Leviticus 4:26 And all its fat he shall burn on the altar, like the fat of the sacrifice of peace offerings; so the priest shall make atonement for him for his sin, and he shall be forgiven.
4:31 And all its fat he shall remove, as the fat is removed from the peace offerings, and the priest shall burn it upon the altar for a pleasing aroma to the LORD; and the priest shall make atonement for him, and he shall be forgiven.
4:35 And all its fat he shall remove as the fat of the lamb is removed from the sacrifice of peace offerings, and the priest shall burn it on the altar, upon the offerings by fire to the LORD; and the priest shall make atonement for him for the sin which he has committed, and he shall be forgiven.
5:10 Then he shall offer the second for a burnt offering according to the ordinance; and the priest shall make atonement for him for the sin which he has committed, and he shall be forgiven.
5:16 He shall also make restitution for what he has done amiss in the holy thing, and shall add a fifth to it and give it to the priest; and the priest shall make atonement for him with the ram of the guilt offering, and he shall be forgiven.
5:18 He shall bring to the priest a ram without blemish out of the flock, valued by you at the price for a guilt offering, and the priest shall make atonement for him for the error which he committed unwittingly, and he shall be forgiven.
19:22 And the priest shall make atonement for him with the ram of the guilt offering before the LORD for his sin which he has committed; and the sin which he has committed shall be forgiven him.

Numbers 15:25 And the priest shall make atonement for all the congregation of the people of Israel, and they shall be forgiven; because it was an error, and they have brought their offering, an offering by fire to the LORD, and their sin offering before the LORD, for their error.
Numbers 15:28 And the priest shall make atonement before the LORD for the person who commits an error, when he sins unwittingly, to make atonement for him; and he shall be forgiven.

Because:

Hosea 6:6 For I desire continual love and not sacrifice, the knowledge of God, rather than burnt offerings [ or ingesting eucharistic tidbits of crackers and grape-juice/wine, or racistly supporting black reparations, or whatever other substitutional oddities or diversional conjurations ].

Amos 5:22 Even though you offer me your burnt offerings and cereal offerings, I will not accept them, and the peace offerings of your fatted beasts I will not look upon.

Micah 6:6 With what shall I come before the LORD, and bow myself before God on high? Shall I come to Him with burnt offerings, with calves a year old?
7 Will the LORD be pleased with thousands of rams, with ten thousands of rivers of oil? Shall I give my first-born for my transgression, the fruit of my body for the sin of my soul?"
8 He has showed you, human, what is good; and what does the LORD require of you but to do justice, and to love kindness, and to walk humbly with your God?

Hebrews 10:5 Consequently, when Christ came into the world, He said, "Sacrifices and offerings you have not desired, but a body have you prepared for me;
Hebrews 10:8 When He said above, "You have neither desired nor taken pleasure in sacrifices and offerings and burnt offerings and sin offerings" (these are offered according to The Law),
9 then He added, "Here here, I have come to do your will." He abolishes the first in order to establish the second.
10 And by that will we have been sanctified through the offering of the body of Jesus Christ once for all.
11 And every priest stands daily at his service, offering repeatedly the same sacrifices, which can never take away sins.
12 But when Christ had offered for all time a single sacrifice for sins, He sat down at the right hand of God,
13 then to wait until His enemies should be made a stool for His feet.
14 For by a single offering He has perfected for all time those who are sanctified.

Romans 9:30 What shall we say, then? That nations who did not pursue righteousness have attained it, that is, righteousness through faith;
31 but that Israel who pursued "righteousness" based on [ possession of and/or puny attempts at obeying all ] Law did not succeed in fulfilling that Law.
32 Why? Because they did not pursue it through faith, but as if it were based on [ non-reliable human ] works. They have stumbled over the stumbling stone,
33 as it is written, "Hey, I am laying in Zion a stone that will make humans stumble, a rock that will make them fall; but he/she who believes in Him [ that is: Jesus, and what Jesus their Atoner did for them, and that atonement applies to them ] will not be put to shame."

Neither Jews nor non-Jews can create The [ allegorical ] Life Raft which will save them from [ metaphorically ] drowning, nor do they even at times have strength to swim to that life-saving Life Raft in a pathetically-weak attempt to save themselves, but in fact He has to come to them and lift them out of the water (if they are willing then and there for Him to do that, and remain willing thereafter).

No need to canvas for the cause of Jehovah's Witness to atone for one's sins and thus presumably earn brownie points for qualified entrance into Heaven upon our demise.

Galatians 2:16 . . . human sins are not atoned for by humans haphazardly doing works of The Law they know of and/or do not know of, but rather having faith in Jesus Christ, even we have believed in Christ Jesus, in order to be absolved of committed sins by having faith in Christ, and not by us haphazardly doing and not doing works of The Law as an inadequate substitute, because by doing or not doing hit-and-miss [human] works of The Law shall no one have their sins atoned for.

Is the essence of lawful behavior required now for Christians? "But of course . . ." (with or without the Grey Poupon):

Romans 2:12 All who have sinned without The Law will also perish without The Law, and all who have sinned under The Law will be judged by The Law.
Romans 5:14 Yet death reigned from Adam to Moses, even over those whose sins were not like the transgression of Adam, who was a type of The One who was to come.
Romans 2:14 When nations who have not The Law do by nature what The Law requires, they are a law to themselves, even though they do not have The Law.

Regarding Spirit-driven Christians, for whom:

Romans 8:4 . . . the just requirements of The Law might be fulfilled in us, who walk not according to the [sinful-nature] flesh but according to the [indwelling] Christ's Spirit [of perfect morality].

Our current attitude to that Law?

Romans 3:31 Do we then overthrow The Law by this faith? By no means! On the contrary, we uphold The Law.
Romans 7:22 For I delight in The Law of God, in my inmost self . . .

Admittedly, it is a given fact that Jesus informed us that:

Matthew 22:30 For in the resurrection they neither marry nor are given in marriage, but are like angels in heaven.
Mark 12:25 For when they rise from the dead, they neither marry nor are given in marriage, but are like angels in heaven.
Luke 20:35 but those who are accounted worthy to attain to that age and to the resurrection from the dead neither marry nor are given in marriage

Here it behooves us to not "read in" more than what the exact words of Holy Writ state.

Notice that the Recorder did not state that already-married Christian couples in Glory are no longer married (but instead separated or divorced?) . . . but implied that there will be no man-with-woman sexually-oriented marriages begun (nor ended) -- and thus no man-with-women sexually-oriented weddings.

There is a popular saying that: "You only go around once, so grab with all the gusto you can," which is congruent with:

Ecclesiastes 9:10 Whatever your hand finds to do, do it with your might; for there is no work or thought or knowledge or wisdom in Sheol, to which you are going.

The erotic application of that is to wholeheartedly and vigorously accommodate (if, then when, possible) with the Lord's following earthly directives:

First Corinthians 7:1 Now concerning the matters about which you wrote. It is well for a man not to touch a woman.
2 But because of the temptation to fornication, each man should have his own wife and each woman her own husband.
3 The husband should give to his wife her conjugal rights, and likewise the wife to her husband.
4 For the wife does not rule over her own body, but the husband does; likewise the husband does not rule over his own body, but the wife does.
5 Do not refuse one another except perhaps by agreement for a season, that you may devote yourselves to prayer; but then come together again, lest Satan tempt you through lack of self-control.
6 I say this by way of concession, not of command.
7 I wish that all were as I myself am. But each has his own special gift from God, one of one kind and one of another.
8 To non-married and widows I say that it is good for them to remain single as I do.
9 But if they cannot exercise self-control, they should marry. For it is better to marry than to be aflame with passion.

and:

First Timothy 5:14 So I would have younger women marry, bear children, manage their house, and give the enemy no cause to revile us.
First Timothy 5:15 For some have already strayed after Satan.

Most normal men are adamantly "aflame with passion" -- even porn addicts and child-or-adult molesters and wrongly-celibate catholic priests who, in their non-realistic deprivation, target substitute-for-female-spouses little altar boys in their craving for biological-clocks-driven gratification.

Mutual spousal nudity and conjugational consequences during marriage is sort of like the expected social necessity of when intersection traffic-control lights change from red to green, with those behind the by-default-leader-of-the-pack in front expected to promptly-enough proceed forward with the equivalent of reasonably-aggressive sexually-oriented response, action, and behavior instead of waiting there in anger-inciting indecision. And if that driver does not do that, the understandably irritated and impatient consequence of momentary (or prolonged) horn honking from behind that driver is the reminder (or punishment).

The Spirit, through His divinely-inspired author Saint Paul (the latter who was a first-class sexually-defiling-equivalent former anti-Church persecutor) stated an intriguing promise:

First Corinthians 2:9 . . . "What no eye has seen, nor ear heard, nor the heart of humans conceived, what God has prepared for those who love Him."

The writer of the New-Testament book of Hebrews gave us a "penetrating" glimpse of things to come by how He described Christ Himself:

Hebrews 4:13 And before Him no creature is hidden, but all are open and laid bare to the eyes of Him with whom we have to do.

"Laid bare?"

And how would that apply to us in Heavenly bliss?

First John 3:2 Beloved, we are God's children now; it does not yet appear what we shall be, but we know that when He appears we shall be like Him, for we shall see Him as He is.

Those purified patriarchs and their ilk like Abraham and Jacob, Gideon and David and Solomon, who (though prophets) were not considered monogamy-required bishops nor deacons (refer to First Timothy 3:2 and 3:12) will be surrounded by their saved-and-redeemed assorted bevy of wives and concubines they were married to (and never divorced from), concordant with:

Ecclesiastes 2:8 I also gathered for myself silver and gold and the treasure of kings and provinces; I got singers, both men and women, and many concubines, man's delight.

Clearly, "One Man, One Women" has not applied to everyone (with God's approval), nor does it now [ although it is obvious that even polygamists of the Bible had their primary wife as their special pet ].

Regarding modesty in the hereafter?

The typical Heavenly Fashion/Style will be as described:

Second Corinthians 5:4 For while we are still in this tent, we sigh with anxiety; not that we would be unclothed, but that we would be further clothed, so that what is mortal may be swallowed up by life.
Revelation 1:13 and in the midst of the lampstands one like [The Son of Man], clothed with a long robe and with a golden girdle round His breast
Revelation 6:11 Then they were each given a white robe and told to rest a little longer, until the number of their fellow servants and their brethren should be complete, who were to be [murdered] as they themselves had been.

Outside the New Jerusalem, the eternal outer darkness combined with perpetual black-heat/tormenting-flames Lake-of-Fire incarceration will be the suspended-forever-in-excruciating-pain abode [ for publicly-mopheaded female humans (church members or not) with sexually-harassive seductively-pornographic loose long hair not consistently tied back into a single back-of-head ponytail or not put up in a bun or chignon, and/or floozies flaunting soxless feet with noisy flip-flop sandals ] in permanent confinement "to the ages of the ages:"

Revelation 22:15 Outside are the [homoeffeminate/homosodomite] dogs and sorcerers and [indecently-immodest] fornicators and murderers and [lewdly-hairstyled-and-misattired] idolaters, and every one who loves and practices falsehood.

But, perhaps with purified minds having something like X-ray vision (no thanks to the prurient-purveying peepers of the Department of Homeland Security at airport checkpoints), potential manifestations of the following are presently beyond our wildest dreams and imagination:

Maybe angelic husbands in their resurrected-20s-something-equivalent ageless virility will have supernatural stamina and the magnificent opposite of limpidly-flaccid erectile dysfunction without dry impotence, and angelic wives also in their slender-and-shapely, wrinkle-free, pristine-beauty mid-20s-equivalent will have no menstrual cramps, headaches, nor painful childbirth.

Added to that, absent will be biting mosquitos, spiders, bees, snakes, scorpions, pesky gnats, flies, plagues, sunburn, vandals, molesters, slanderers, lethal pollution, and a myriad number of other environmental disturbances so irritating in this temporal life. So the God who did not first ask our permission to create us in the womb [ and how could He have so petitioned if we were not around yet to ask? ], and has not first asked us whether or not we want to live forever in eternity in Heaven or in Hell (whether or not one initially or temporarily considers that audacious on His part), has nothing but benevolence and exciting plans, events, and phenomena for those who intrinsically are for Him instead of against Him.

Whatever the case about possible titillating and sensuous human sexuality in the hereafter, the following prediction will be in effect:

Revelation 21:5 And He who sat upon the throne said, "Hey, I make all things new." Also He said, "Write this, for these words are trustworthy and true."
