Theolity

For a person to worship some entity or phenomenon or being involves, of necessity, that person regarding that entity or phenomenon or being as being higher or more important than themself.

Being that that is so, does that part of the Triune Godhead called "The Holy Spirit" worship Jesus Christ, the Son of God?
Does that part of the Triune Godhead called "The Father" worship Jesus Christ, the Son of God?

We are merely talking about love - even agape love here. We're instead talking: worship.

Admittedly, there is no one better for any person of the Trinity to not simply admire and even adore or worship (being that all three are perfect - in the fullest and most complete sense of the word), but . . .

Give yourself a hug?

Sounds selfish, or at least non-productive.

IS the long-deceased, redeemed-by-God-her-Savior (see Luke 1:47), former-virgin-when-birthing-Jesus Mary - who is not part of the Triune Godhead - to be worshipped by the Father and/or the Son and/or The Holy Spirit, and is Mary legitimately called "The Mother of God the Father - being that the Son of God is One with and Co-Equal with the Father and the Spirit?

As co-Redemptrix and even Divine Mediator, Mary would leave much to be desired. And speaking to the dead is forbidden according to Holy Writ:

Deuteronomy 18:10 There shall not be found among you any one who burns his son or his daughter as an offering any one who practices divination, a soothsayer, or an augur, or a sorcerer,
11 or a charmer, or a medium, or a wizard, or a necromancer.
12 For whoever does these things is an abomination to the Lord; and because of these abominable practices the Lord your God is driving them out before you.
13 You shall be blameless before the Lord your God.
14 For these nations, which you are about to dispossess, give heed to soothsayers and to diviners; but as for you, the Lord your God has not allowed you so to do.

The saints in glory do pray for whatever to The One On The Throne who fascinates them and who are absorbed in worshipping Him, and we yet-alive ones here in this life do "pray for one another" for (yet not necessarily on behalf) of one another to God, but we mortal humans petitioning dead saints is not simply silly, but even blasphemous, being that God alone (in various persons of the Trinity) is our only Divine Mediator:

Romans 8:26 Likewise the Spirit helps us in our weakness; for we do not know how to pray as we ought, but the Spirit Himself intercedes for us with sighs too deep for words.
Romans 8:27 And He [ not "she"> ] who searches the hearts of humans knows what is the mind of the Spirit, because the Spirit intercedes for the saints according to the will of God.
Romans 8:34 Who is to condemn? Is it Christ Jesus, who died, yes, who was raised from the dead, who is at the right hand of God, who indeed intercedes for us?

First Timothy 2:5 For there is one God, and there is one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus...

While I'm at it, I have some grievances against both the catholic and anglican churches.

The first is concerning catholics who call Mary the mother of Jesus: "Mary, Queen of the clergy, " and the second concerns anglicans who call Christ's ecclesia: "Holy Mother Church."

NO where in the entirety of the Sacred-66-books Holy Bible are those two terms ever used, and what they, in essence, demonically and blasphemously do is elevate feminists and feminism to a level of hierachy and prominence which such aberrations certainly do NOT deserve.

It is true that, as Mary herself stated: "all generations will call me blessed" (Luke 1:48)...but that "blessedness" does NOT require nor mandate inferior-gender Mary to be put on par with the husband-of-one-wife (i.e. one male with one female) male bishops and male deacons who First Timothy 3:2 and First Timothy 3:12 commissions to shepherd those need-to-be-silent-and-subject-to-males inferior gender -- and NOT vice-versa:

First Timothy 2:11 Let a woman learn in silence with all subjection.
12 I allow NO woman to teach or to have authority over men; she is to keep silent.
13 For Adam was formed first, then Eve;
14 and Adam was not deceived, but the woman was deceived and became a transgressor.

MUCH irritation and consternation and confusion can be avoided and alleviated not merely within "the church" but even in secular and civil government and society if the anti-feminist admonition of First Timothy 2:11-14 is taken literally and taken seriously.

"Queen" of the [male] clergy obviously insinuates not simply authoritative guidance in opposition to the clear implication of Song 2:14 ("let me see YOUR face and hear YOUR voice only) but even royal jurisdiction has been presumed to be granted to an admittedly-sexually-pure but needing-redemption-and-now-deceased mere "handmaid of the Lord" who simply was chosen and then willfully involved with a unique-to-be-sure but beyond-her-own-sinful-capacity duty as one of many chosen chaste Jewish young women.

Such should be obvious to all per the following rebuke from Jesus Himself:

Luke 11:27 As He said this, a woman in the crowd raised her voice and said to Him, "Blessed is the womb that bore you, and the breasts that you sucked!"
Luke 11:28 But He said, "Blessed rather are those who hear the word of God and keep it!"

plus:

Mark 3:32 And a crowd was sitting about Him; and they said to Him, "Your mother and your brothers are outside, asking for you."
33 And He replied, "Who are my mother and my brothers?"
34 And looking around on those who sat about Him, He said: "Here are my mother and my brothers!
35 Whoever does the will of God is my brother, and sister, and mother."

and:

Luke 8:20 And He was told, "Your mother and your brothers are standing outside, desiring to see you."
Luke 8:21 But He said to them, "My mother and my brothers are those who hear the word of God and do it."

"Not to mention:"

Luke 14:26 "If any one comes to me and does not HATE his own father and mother and wife and children and brothers and sisters, yes, and even his own life, he cannot be my disciple.

So much for the "family is everything" wayward quirkiness uttered by Vin Diesel in the movie Fast Five.

Plain it is that the "Holy Mary, Mother of God" rote mantra....blasphemously blattered by cultic-catholic mindless who are superstitiously dull of mind and/or fearful slaves to self-appointed ecclesiastical pompous flagrantly decorated in fancy flaunted robes and their others-appointed, big-shot, white-collared, religious patsies...is a hard habit to break. But it behooves the sane and sensible to always remember that mere-created-human Mary did not generate nor originate either God the Father Almighty nor did she create nor originate The Holy Spirit.

There are approved ways for mothers to take care of their mis-called "adorable" little brats than making more out of the Mary-with-Jesus and Jesus-with-Mary motherhood thing than should be made, and those ways are found here and there throughout the entirety of Holy Scripture, such as:

Titus 2:3 Bid the older women likewise to be reverent in behavior, not to be slanderers or slaves to drink; they are to teach what is good,
Titus 2:4 and so train the young women to love their husbands and children,
Titus 2:5 to be sensible, chaste, domestic, kind, and submissive to their husbands, that the word of God may not be discredited.

Moreover, although the Latin-based word "catholic" infers "universal" [whatever] to some propaganda peddlers, catholic means the Catholic religion to normal people, like the Latin word peccatore to such persons might be thought of as referring to woodpeckers or henpecking instead the weird and strange equivalent of the word and concept with "sin."

It is evident that not only those of asian religious cults have problems with espousing ancestor worship, but so do catholic deviants who give "dear" relatives (deceased and non-deceased) the same or perhaps even greater importance as their Creator, and thus are sinfully guilty of committing (and not "performing") the following:

Romans 1:25 ...they exchanged the truth about God for a lie and worshiped and served the creature rather than the Creator, who is blessed for ever! Amen.

Concerning the absurd and ridiculous foreign-and-weird-sounding phrase: "Holy Mother Church..."

NO where throughout the entire Scriptures is the assembly of believers (i.e. the ecclesia) ever referred to as a "mother."

A bride - yes; a "mother" - no!

There are named references to "mother" throughout the Bible:

Genesis 17:16 "I will bless [Sarah], and moreover I will give you a son by her; I will bless her, and she shall be a mother of nations; kings of peoples shall come from her."

Genesis 37:10 But when [Joseph] told [his dream] to his father and to his brothers, his father rebuked him, and said to him, "What is this dream that you have dreamed? Shall I and your mother and your brothers indeed come to bow ourselves to the ground before you?"

Get this:

Deuteronomy 27:23 "Cursed be he who lies with his mother-in-law." And all the people shall say, 'Amen.'

No problem. Be sure to tell my jealous wife that one.

Judges 5:7 The peasantry ceased in Israel, they ceased until you arose, Deborah, arose as a mother in Israel.

So far, both Sarah and Debbie comprised "the Mothers of Israel."

First Samuel 20:30 Then Saul's anger was kindled against Jonathan, and he said to him, "You son of a perverse, rebellious woman, do I not know that you have chosen the son of Jesse to your own shame, and to the shame of your mother's nakedness?"

Thought that I'd throw that one in there, just for kicks, to prepare you for the b---- word.

Here's one for the abortionists:

Job 3:1 After this Job opened his mouth and cursed the day of his birth.
2 And Job said:
3 "Let the day perish wherein I was born, and the night which said, 'A man-child is conceived.'
4 Let that day be darkness! May God above not seek it, nor light shine upon it.
5 Let gloom and deep darkness claim it. Let clouds reside upon it; let the blackness of the day terrify it.
6 That night: let thick darkness seize it! let it not rejoice among the days of the year, let it not come into the number of the months.
7 Yes, let that night be barren; let no joyful cry be heard in it.
8 Let those curse it who curse the day, who are skilled to rouse up Leviathan.
9 Let the stars of its dawn be dark; let it hope for light, but have none, nor see the eyelids of the morning;
10 because it did not shut the doors of my mother's womb, nor hide trouble from my eyes.
11 Why did I not die at birth, come forth from the womb and expire?"

Ditto with:

Jeremiah 20:14 Cursed be the day on which I was born! The day when my mother bore me, let it not be blessed!
Jeremiah 20:17 because he did not kill me in the womb; so my mother would have been my grave, and her womb forever great. [ albeit bloated and infected ]

The point is to NOT terminate the development of prophets of the Lord in the wombs of their mothers, being that the terminators will themselves be then terminated, sooner or later, temporally and eternally in everlasting punishment.

Back to Mary.

Luke 1:43 And why is this granted me, that the mother of my Lord [ the word is NOT in all-capital letters signifying Trinity, and is an inferior-gender blurb uttered by inferior-gender Elizabeth in which she is hopefully not giving Mary the credit for generating and thus being self-conceiving Mother of the Son of God but rather being a who-knows-how-that-happened womb-caretaker mother of the Son of Man ] should come to me?

That is about as close as one can perilously come to the blasphemous phrase: "Mary, Mother of GOD [the Father and God the Holy Spirit]."

John 2:3 When the wine failed, the mother of Jesus said to him, "They have no wine."
John 2:4(?) And Jesus replied: "What OF it? So WHAT, bitch? What am I supposed to do about it? You think I'm some kind of a wimpy mopheaded momma's-boy tit-baby still needing my diapers changed or asking mommy's permission to go to the restroom?"
John 2:5 His mother said to the servants, "Do whatever he tells you."

Did mother Mary have to give Jesus a clue or an idea what He should do at that time? And how He should do it?

What did Mary have in mind: not simply Jesus making wine (but neither cigarettes nor heroin nor playboy for mass dissemination), but also getting news publicity as a Wonder Worker with consequential money then pouring into the Joseph-and-Mary-Foundation coffers, and even eventually overthrowing the idolatrous Roman-gods-worshipping Roman government?

John 2:4 And Jesus said to her, "Oh woman [ why not: "Oh mommy?" ], what have you to do with me? My hour has not yet come."

John 19:26 When Jesus saw His mother, and the disciple whom He loved [ back off on that one, all you homoqueer insinuators and misinterpreters! ] standing near, He said to His mother, "Woman [ why not: "Mommy?" ], hey, your son!"
John 19:27 Then He said to the disciple, "Hey, your mother!" And from that hour the disciple took her to his own home. [ and did what to and with her thereafter? ]

Not quite his biological mother, Jesus, but I don't think you meant to imply disoriented hallucination under crucifixional duress, but only caretakership - not as some extrapolated command to make Mary the "Mother Church."

Acts 1:14 All these with one accord devoted themselves to prayer, together with the women and Mary the mother of Jesus [ why not "Mother of GOD?" ], and with his brothers.

Romans 16:13 Greet Rufus, eminent in the Lord, also his mother and mine. [ biologically, Paul? ] Another pseudo-proof for "Holy Mother Church?"

Galatians 4:26 But the Jerusalem above is free, and she is our mother. [ I assume that the matriarchal term is symbolical or metaphorical? Or another pseudo-proof for "Mother Church?" ]

Revelation 17:5 ...and on her forehead was written a name of mystery: "Babylon the great, mother of harlots [ a contrast to "Holy Mother Church" ] and of earth's abominations."

No, the ecclesia of Christ is NOT called "Holy Mother Church," but rather:

Revelation 19:7 Let us rejoice and exult and give him the glory, for the marriage of the Lamb has come, and His Bride has made herself ready;
Revelation 21:2 And I saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband;
Revelation 21:9 Then came one of the seven angels who had the seven bowls full of the seven last plagues, and spoke to me, saying, "Come, I will show you the Bride, the Wife of the Lamb."
Revelation 22:17 The Spirit and the Bride say, "Come." And let him who hears say, "Come." And let him who is thirsty come, let him who desires take the water of life without price.

So, forget the "Hail Marys." Stop it if you are tempted to do it. Let it go. Continue to cross your heart and curtsey, though, if you wish.

Relative worship, especially desire to make up for hurt done to deceased relatives, or attempt to compensate for loneliness when deprived of deceased relatives by talking into the air or at the wall, is no excuse to try to pray to nor "petition" them:

Matthew 10:37 He who loves father or mother more than me is not worthy of me; and he who loves son or daughter more than me is not worthy of me;

Luke 14:26 If any one comes to me and does not hate his own father and mother and wife and children and brothers and sisters, yes, and even his own life, he cannot be my disciple.

So does or should God worship Himself?

The answer is that although God (i.e. the LORD, or Triune Godhead) swore by Himself instead of referring to someone or something greater when making an oath:

Hebrews 6:13 For when God made a promise to Abraham, since He had no one greater by whom to swear, He swore by Himself...

He (or Them - that is, the three persons of the Triune Godhead) does NOT worship Himself nor Themselves (that is, the Father does not worship the Son, nor does the Father worship The Holy Spirit, nor does the Son of God worship the Holy Spirit), which word - again - implies (by default) subservience, or giving homage to a Superior Being.

Sure we should "love" ourselves, and love our wives "as our own bodies?" But is that supposed to be a self-centered selfishly self-directed admiration or affection or worship? Seems along the lines of masturbational self-sodomy.

Is it not instead intense care for one's body, and should God not protect Himself with the heavenly surrounding Four Living Creatures and the 24 Elders, besides legions and myriads of angels?

But who should inferior-status creatures (such as humans, and even higher-echelon angels) worship? Matthew 2:2 "Where is He who has been born king of the Jews? For we have seen His star in the East, and have come to worship Him."
Matthew 2:8 and he sent them to Bethlehem, saying, "Go and search diligently for the child, and when you have found Him bring me word, that I too may come and worship Him."

John 4:23 But the hour is coming, and now is, when the true worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and truth, for such the Father seeks to worship Him.
John 4:24 God is spirit, and those who worship Him must worship in spirit and truth."

Ephesians 3:14 For this reason I bow my knees before the Father...

Hebrews 1:6 And again, when He brings the first-born into the world, He says: "Let all God's angels worship Him."

Revelation 4:10 the twenty-four elders fall down before Him who is seated on the throne and worship Him who lives forever; they cast their crowns before the throne, singing [ perhaps in unison, and/or in tenor-&-bass harmony ],
4:11 "Worthy are you, our Lord and God, to receive glory and honor and power, for you did create all things, and by your will they existed and were created." [sounds like The 24 Guys were creationists and not evolutionists!]
14:7 and he said with a loud voice, "Fear God and give Him glory, for the hour of His judgment has come; and worship Him who made heaven and earth, the sea and the fountains of water." [ there we go again with the Ken-Ham-like creationism! ]
19:10 Then I fell down at his feet to worship Him, but he said to me, "You must not do that! I am a fellow servant with you and your brethren who hold the testimony of Jesus. Worship God." For the testimony of Jesus is the spirit of prophecy.
22:3 There shall no more be anything accursed, but the throne of God and of the Lamb shall be in it, and His servants shall worship Him;

Frequently one manifestation of worship is to "bow down," (and/or maybe also: "salute" in military manner) to whomever or whatever:

Exodus 11:8 And all these your servants shall come down to me, and bow down to me, saying, 'Get you out, and all the people who follow you.' And after that I will go out." And he went out from Pharaoh in hot anger.
Exodus 20:5 ...you shall not bow down to them or serve them; for I the LORD your God am a jealous God, requiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children to the third and the fourth generation of those who hate me,
Exodus 23:24 you shall not bow down to their gods, nor serve them, nor do according to their works, but you shall utterly overthrow them and break their pillars in pieces [ Mean-spirited or cruel intolerance in action? But of course! ].

Leviticus 26:1 You shall make for yourselves no idols and erect no graven image or pillar [ including the forecast-and-predicted 666 Image of the Beast ], and you shall not set up a figured stone in your land, to bow down to them; for I am the LORD your God.

Deuteronomy 5:9 you shall not bow down to them or serve them; for I the LORD your God am a jealous God, retaliating because of the iniquity of the fathers upon the children to the third and fourth generation of those who hate me [ heard that already, and heard that before ]

Joshua 23:7 that you may not be mixed with these nations left here among you, or make mention of the names of their gods, or swear by them, or serve them, or bow down yourselves to them,
Joshua 23:16 if you transgress the covenant of the LORD your God, which He commanded you, and go and serve other gods and bow down to them. Then the anger of the LORD will be kindled against you, and you shall perish quickly from off the good land which He has given to you." [ so much for religious coexistence and inclusive non-discriminatory diversity ]

Psalm 22:29 Yes, to Him shall all the proud of the earth bow down; before Him shall bow all who go down to the dust, and he who cannot keep himself alive.
72:9 May His foes bow down before Him, and His enemies lick the dust!
81:9 There shall be no strange god among you; you shall not bow down to a foreign god.
86:9 All the nations you have made shall come and bow down before you, Lord, and shall glorify your name.
95:6 Oh come, let us worship and bow down, let us kneel before the LORD, our Maker!
97:7 All worshipers of images are put to shame, who make their boast in worthless idols; all gods bow down before Him.
138:2 I bow down toward your holy temple and give thanks to your name for your continuous love and your faithfulness; for you have exalted above everything your name and your word.

Proverbs 14:19 The evil bow down before the good, the wicked at the gates of the righteous.

Isaiah 2:8 Their land is filled with idols; they bow down to the work of their hands, to what their own fingers have made.
45:14 Thus says the LORD: "The wealth of Egypt and the merchandise of Ethiopia, and the Sabeans, men of stature, shall come over to you and be yours, they shall follow you; they shall come over in chains and bow down to you. They will make petition to you, saying: 'God is with you only, and there is no other, no god besides Him.'"
49:23 Kings shall be your foster fathers, and their queens your nursing mothers. With their faces to the ground they shall bow down to you, and lick the dust of your feet. [ nothing like clean feet ] Then you will know that I am the LORD; those who wait for me shall not be put to shame."
51:23 and I will put it into the hand of your tormentors, who have said to you, 'Bow down, that we may pass over'; and you have made your back like the ground and like the street for them to pass over."
58:5 Is such the fast that I choose, a day for a man to humble himself? Is it to bow down his head like a rush, and to spread sackcloth and ashes under him? Will you call this a fast, and a day acceptable to the LORD?

Also closely related to "worship" is "subjection:"

Luke 10:17 The seventy returned with joy, saying, "Lord, even the demons are subject to us in your name!"
Luke 10:20 Nevertheless do not rejoice in this, that the spirits are subject to you; but rejoice that your names are written in heaven."

It sends a warm tingle up my legs when heretical evolutionists are subject to Biblical creationists, homoqueers are subject to normally-oriented heterosexuals, sexist feminists are subject to patriarchal Christians, and anti-Zionist "palestinians" are subject to saintly Israel supporters.

Romans 13:1 Let every person be subject to the governing authorities [ e.g. Nero, Caligula, Hadrian, Lenin and Stalin, Hitler, Mao, Bobama, etc. ] For there is no authority except from God [ Constantine, Luther, Washington and Lincoln, FDR and Truman and LBJ, Reagan and Bush, Netanyahu, etc. ] and those that exist have been instituted by God.
Romans 13:5 Therefore one must be subject, not only to avoid God's wrath but also for the sake of conscience.

First Corinthians 14:32 ...and the spirits of prophets are subject to prophets.
First Corinthians 16:16 I urge you to be subject to such men and to every fellow worker and laborer.

Ephesians 5:21 Be subject to one another out of reverence for Christ.
Ephesians 5:22 Wives, be subject to your husbands, as to the Lord.
Ephesians 5:24 As the church is subject to Christ, so let wives also be subject in everything [ including performing fellatio ] to their husbands.

Philippians 3:21 [Christ] will change our lowly body to be like His glorious body, by the power which enables Him even to subject all things to Himself.

Colossians 3:18 Wives, be subject to your [ own] husbands, as is fitting in the Lord.

Hebrews 2:15 and deliver all those who through fear of death were subject to lifelong bondage.
Hebrews 12:9 Besides this, we have had earthly fathers to discipline us and we respected them. Shall we not much more be subject to the Father of spirits and live?

First Peter 2:13 Be subject for the Lord's sake to every human institution, whether it be to the emperor [ FDR, not Hitler ] as supreme
First Peter 2:14 or to governors [ Scott Walker, Rick Perry, etc. ] as sent by him to punish those who do wrong and to praise those who do right.
First Peter 3:22 [Christ] has gone into heaven and is at the right hand of God, with angels, authorities, and powers subject to Him.
First Peter 5:5 Likewise you that are younger be subject to the elders. Clothe yourselves, all of you, with humility toward one another, for "God opposes the proud, but gives grace to the humble."

Subjection is a concept that involves a being of one type regarding another type (or the same type) of being as better or more important than the being in subjection, and sometimes there is misunderstanding and/or confusion and even blasphemy as to which being takes prominence pertaining to differentiation or instead indiscriminate lack of differentiation:

Esther 3:1 After these things King Ahasuerus promoted [antisemitic] Haman the Agagite, the son of Hammedatha, and advanced him and set his seat above all the princes who were with him.
3:2 And all the king's servants who were at the king's gate bowed down and did obeisance to Haman; for the king had so commanded concerning [and not "regarding"] him. But Mordecai did not bow down or do obeisance. [ reminds me of non-cooperatively non-idolizing Shadrach and Meshach and Abednego heading for The Fiery Furnace in the book of Daniel ]
3:4 And when they spoke to him day after day and he would not listen to them, they told Haman, in order to see whether Mordecai's words would avail; for he had told them that he was a Jew.
3:5 And when Haman saw that Mordecai did not bow down or do obeisance to him, Haman was filled with fury.
3:6 But he disdained to lay hands on Mordecai alone. So, as they had made known to him the people of Mordecai, Haman sought to destroy all the Jews, the people of Mordecai, throughout the whole kingdom of Ahasuerus.
3:8 Then Haman said to King Ahasuerus, "There is a certain people scattered abroad and dispersed among the peoples in all the provinces of your kingdom; their laws are different from those of every other people, and they do not keep the king's laws, so that it is not for the king's profit to tolerate them. [ sounds like demoncrats suppressing anti-Obominite political campaigners with IRS-slacker tyranny, or Hitler eliminating homo Brownshirts with black-booted Gestapo ]
3:10 So the king took his signet ring from his hand and gave it to Haman the Agagite, the son of Hammedatha, the enemy against the Jews.
3:11 And the king said to Haman, "The money is given to you, the people also, to do with them as it seems good to you." [ nothing like misrepresentative publicity to dupe the gullible ]

And (paradoxically, yet not contradictorily):

Proverbs 29:25 The fear of man lays a snare, but he who trusts in the LORD is safe.

Acts 5:29 But Peter and the apostles answered, "We must obey God rather than men."

Acts 10:25 When Peter entered, Cornelius met him and fell down at his feet and worshiped him.
Acts 10:26 But Peter lifted him up, saying, "Stand up; I too am a man."

First Corinthians 7:23 You were bought with a price; do not become slaves of humans.

During His earthly pilgrimage, Jesus (the acclaimed Son of God) obviously made a distinction or differentiation between Himself and His Father (though not so much pertaining to Himself and The Holy Spirit):

Matthew 24:36 "But of that day and hour no one knows, not even the angels of heaven, nor the Son, but the Father only."
Mark 13:32 "But of that day or that hour no one knows, not even the angels in heaven, nor the Son, but only the Father."

The command to baptize (similar to oathing) was not to be made in the name of the Son of God only, but rather in the name of the Triune God:

Matthew 28:19 Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit,
Matthew 28:20 teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you; and wow, I am with you always, to the close of the age.

Such proselytizing and missionary-izing can NOT and should NOT be mis-considered: "spamming" or disseminating [illegal] "spam." How are people to hear without a preacher? Button-hole harassing is one thing, but God-ordered missionary outreach and even reasonable courteous persistence after initial encounters is quite another!

At this point, let me remind the reader and myself that the feminine is not mentioned -- obvious by the fact that the very essence of the word "father" is masculine and the very essence of the word "son" is also masculine and not feminine, and "The Spirit" is genderless but also referred to with the masculine and not feminine -- and thus the feminine Mary, mother (NOT "Mother") of Jesus (NOT "Mother of [the Triune] "God") is out of the picture at this point (and, bear with me, because I am going to significantly quote from the perhaps-occasionally-deficient-in-wording adjusted RSV translation below, which references should be compared with the KJV and KJV-type renditions for the sake of accuracy):

Luke 9:26 "For whoever is ashamed of me and of my words, of him will the Son of man be ashamed when he comes in His glory and the glory of the Father and of the holy angels.
Luke 10:22 All things have been delivered to me by my Father; and no one knows who the Son is except the Father, or who the Father is except the Son and any one to whom the Son chooses to reveal Him."

John 1:14 And the Word became flesh and lived among us, full of grace and truth; we have seen and experienced His glory, glory of the only Son from the Father.
1:18 No one has ever seen God; the only Son, who is in the bosom of the Father, has made him known.
3:35 the Father loves the Son, and has given all things into His hand.
4:21 Jesus said to her, "Woman, believe me, the hour is coming when neither on this mountain nor in Jerusalem will you worship the Father.
4:23 But the hour is coming, and now is, when the true worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and truth, for such the Father seeks to worship Him.
5:19 Jesus said to them, "Truly, truly, I say to you, the Son can do nothing of His own accord, but only what He sees the Father doing; for whatever He does, that the Son does likewise.
5:20 For the Father loves the Son, and shows Him all that He himself is doing; and greater works than these will He show Him, that you may marvel.
5:21 For as the Father raises the dead and gives them life, so also the Son gives life to whom he will.
5:22 The Father judges no one, but has given all judgment to the Son,
5:23 that all may honor the Son, even as they honor the Father. He who does not honor the Son does not honor the Father who sent Him.
5:26 For as the Father has life in Himself, so He has granted the Son also to have life in Himself,
5:36 But the testimony which I have is greater than that of John; for the works which the Father has granted me to accomplish, these very works which I am doing, bear me witness that the Father has sent me.
5:37 And the Father who sent me has himself borne witness to me. His voice you have never heard, His form you have never seen;
5:45 Do not think that I shall accuse you to the Father; it is Moses who accuses you, on whom you set your hope.
6:27 Do not labor for the food which perishes, but for the food which endures to eternal life, which the Son of Man will give to you; for on Him has God the Father set His seal."
J6:37 All that the Father gives me will come to me; and him who comes to me I will not throw out.
6:44 No one can come to me unless the Father who sent me draws him; and I will raise him up at the last day.
6:45 It is written in the prophets, 'And they shall all be taught by God.' Every one who has heard and learned from the Father comes to me.
6:46 Not that any one has seen the Father except Him who is from God; He has seen the Father.
6:57 As the living Father sent me, and I live because of the Father, so he who eats me [ tasty and yummy! ] will live because of me.
6:65 And He said, "This is why I told you that no one can come to me unless it is granted him by the Father."
8:18 I bear witness to myself, and the Father who sent me bears witness to me."
8:27 They did not understand that He spoke to them of the Father.
8:28 So Jesus said, "When you have lifted up the Son of Man, then you will know that I am He [ not "she" ], and that I do nothing on my own authority but speak thus as the Father taught me.
10:15 as the Father knows me and I know the Father; and I lay down my life for the sheep.
10:17 For this reason the Father loves me, because I lay down my life, that I may take it again.
10:29 My Father, who has given them to me, is greater than all, and no one is able to snatch them out of the Father's hand.
10:30 "I and the Father are one."
10:32 Jesus answered them, "I have shown you many good works from the Father; for which of these do you stone me?"
10:36 do you say of him whom the Father consecrated and sent into the world, 'You are blaspheming,' because I said, 'I am THE Son of God'?
10:38 but if I do them, even though you do not believe me, believe the works, that you may know and understand that the Father is in me and I am in the Father."
12:26 If any one serves me, he must follow me; and where I am, there shall my servant be also; if any one serves me, the Father will honor him.
12:49 For I have not spoken on my own authority; the Father who sent me has Hhimself given me commandment what to say and what to speak.
12:50 And I know that His commandment is eternal life. What I say, therefore, I say as the Father has bidden me."
13:1 Now before the feast of the Passover, when Jesus knew that His hour had come to depart out of this world to the Father, having loved His own who were in the world, He loved them to the end.
13:3 Jesus, knowing that the Father had given all things into His hands, and that He had come from God and was going to God,
13:4 rose from supper, laid aside his garments [ Holy Stripper! ], and girded himself with a towel [ maybe with underpants or equivalent still on at all times? ].
14:6 Jesus said to him, "I am the way, and the truth, and the life; no one comes to the Father, but by me.
14:8 Philip said to him, "Lord, show us the Father, and we shall be satisfied."
14:9 Jesus said to him, "Have I been with you so long, and yet you do not know me, Philip? He who has seen me has seen the Father; how can you say, 'Show us the Father'?
14:10 Do you not believe that I am in the Father and the Father in me? The words that I say to you I do not speak on my own authority; but the Father who resides in me does His works.
14:11 Believe me that I am in the Father and the Father in me; or else believe me for the sake of the works themselves.
14:12 Truthfully I say to you, he who believes in me will also do the works that I do; and greater works than these will he do, because I go to the Father.
14:13 Whatever you ask in my name, I will do it, that the Father may be glorified in the Son;
14:16 And I will pray the Father, and He will give you another Counselor, to be with you forever,
14:17 even the Spirit of truth, whom the world cannot receive, because they neither see Him nor know Him; you know Him, for he resides with you, and will be in you.
14:24 He who does not love me does not keep my words; and the word which you hear is not mine but the Father's who sent me.
14:26 But the Counselor, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in my name, He will teach you all things, and bring to your remembrance all that I have said to you.
14:28 You heard me say to you, 'I go away, and I will come to you.' If you loved me, you would have rejoiced, because I go to the Father; for the Father is greater than I.
14:31 but I do as the Father has commanded me, so that the world may know that I love the Father. Rise, let us go there.
15:9 As the Father has loved me, so have I loved you; stay in my love.
15:16 You did not choose me, but I chose you and appointed you that you should go and bear fruit and that your fruit should abide; so that whatever you ask the Father in my name, He will give it to you.
15:26 But when the Counselor comes, whom I shall send to you from the Father, even the Spirit of truth, who proceeds from the Father, He will bear witness to me;
16:2 They will put you out of the synagogues; indeed, the hour is coming when whoever kills you [ or Jerry Falwell, or creationist Ken Ham, or etc. etc. etc. ] will think he is offering service to God.
16:3 And they will do this because they have not known the Father, nor me.
16:15 All that the Father has is mine; therefore I said that He will take what is mine and declare it to you.
16:17 Some of His disciples said to one another, "What is this that He says to us, 'A little while, and you will not see me, and again a little while, and you will see me'; and, 'because I go to the Father'?"
16:23 In that day you will ask nothing of me. Truthfully I say to you, if you ask anything of the Father, He will give it to you in my name.
16:25 "I have said this to you in figurative metaphors; the hour is coming when I shall no longer speak to you in symbolism but tell you plainly of the Father.
16:26 In that day you will ask in my name; and I do not say to you that I shall pray the Father for you;
16:27 for the Father Himself loves you, because you have loved me and have believed that I came from the Father.
16:28 I came from the Father and have come into the world; again, I am leaving the world and going to the Father."
16:32 The hour is coming, indeed it has come, when you will be scattered, every one to his/her home, and will leave me alone; yet I am not alone, for the Father is with me.
18:11 Jesus said to Peter, "Put your sword into its sheath; shall I not drink the cup which the Father has given me?"
20:17 Jesus said to her, "Do not hold me, for I have not yet ascended to the Father; but go to my brethren and say to them, I am ascending to my Father and your Father, to my God and your God."
20:21 Jesus said to them again, "Peace be with you. As the Father has sent me, even so I send you."

Acts 1:4 And while staying with them He charged them not to leave Jerusalem, but to wait for the promise of the Father, which, He said, "you heard from me,
Acts 1:7 He said to them, "It is not for you to know times or seasons which the Father has fixed by His own authority.
Acts 2:33 Being therefore exalted at the right hand of God, and having received from the Father the promise of the Holy Spirit, He has poured out this which you see and hear.

First Peter 1:1 Peter, an apostle of Jesus Christ, To the exiles of the Dispersion in Pontus, Galatia, Cappadocia, Asia, and Bithynia, [ hey, that includes your great-great-great-great-great grandfather and mine also, which then might even apply to us, their ancestral offspring - being we were and are all on the same planet and phenomena thereof owned by God the Creator! ]

Second Peter 1:18 we heard this voice borne from heaven, for we were with Him on the holy mountain [ of Transfiguration ].

First John 1:2 the life was made manifest, and we saw it, and testify to it, and proclaim to you the eternal life which was with the Father and was made manifest to us...
1:3 that which we have seen and heard we proclaim also to you, so that you may have fellowship with us; and our fellowship is with the Father and with His Son Jesus Christ.

2:16 For all that is in the world [ who God loves, but does not love and instead essentially hates - especially those He is going to "lovingly?" burn in outer-darkness solitary confinement forever ], the lust of the flesh and the lust of the eyes and the pride of life, is not of the Father but is of the world.

Revelation 1:6 and made us a kingdom, priests [ ordained by which seminary? ] to His God and Father, to Him be glory and dominion forever. Amen.
2:27 and He shall rule them with a rod of iron, as when earthen pots are broken in pieces, even as I myself have received power from my Father;
3:5 He who conquers shall be clad thus in white garments, and I will not blot his name out of The Book of Life; I will confess his name before my Father and before His angels.

14:1 Then I looked, and wow, on Mount Zion stood the Lamb, and with Him a hundred and forty-four thousand who had His name and His Father's name written on their foreheads.

Like the molecular structure of that chemical compound called liquid water (which can also be manifested and displayed as solid ice and water-vapor gas), and like the unified fowl or reptile egg (consisting of differentiated parts of shell, egg white, and egg yolk), so the One Triune God is comprised of three differentiated-yet-integrated-and-unified components of Father, Son, and Spirit.

Neither the humanly-concocted "Apostles Creed" nor "Nicene Creed" is literally stated verbatim anywhere within the totality of the Sacred-66-books Judeo-Christian Holy Bible, although parts of both creeds are substantiated by the contents of that Bible.

For example, the Nicene creed states that the Father Almighty is a "substance (like the begotten Son)," and the creator of Heaven and Earth, and that baptism remits sins (and you thought that imbibing in eucharist did that?), but the opening verses of the gospel of John, the first chapter of Colossians, and the first chapter of Hebrews state that the Son was the Creator of Heaven and Earth, and omits that fact the function of The Spirit is not simply to give life, to be worshipped and glorified as the Inspirer of the prophets and conveyer of prophecies, but to direct human creatures to Jesus Christ, the Son of God, and to both convict and convince:

John 1:1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.
John 1:2 He was in the beginning with God;
John 1:3 all things were made through Him, and without Him was not anything made that was made.

Colossians 1:11 May you be strengthened with all power, according to His glorious might, for all endurance and patience with joy,
12 giving thanks to the Father, who has qualified us to share in the inheritance of the saints in light.
13 He has delivered us from the dominion of darkness and transferred us to the kingdom of His beloved Son,
14 in whom we have redemption, the forgiveness of sins.
15 He is the image of the invisible God, the first-born of all creation;
16 for in Him all things were created, in heaven and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or dominions or principalities or authorities -- all things were created through Him and for Him.
17 He is before all things, and in Him all things hold together [ nucleonically ].
18 He is the head of the body, the church; He is the beginning, the first-born from the dead, that in everything He might be pre-eminent.
19 For in Him all the fullness of God was pleased to reside...

Hebrews 1:1 In many and various ways God spoke of old to our fathers by the prophets;
2 but in these last days He has spoken to us by His Son, whom He appointed the heir of all things, through whom also He created the world [ thus Makership is attributed to the Father, as it states in the Nicene Creed ].
3 He reflects the glory of God and bears the very image of His nature, upholding the universe [ nucleonically and more ] by His word of power. After He had made purification for sins, He sat down at the right hand of the Majesty on high,
4 having become as much superior to angels as the name He has obtained is more excellent than theirs.
5 For to what angel did God ever say, "You are my Son, today I have begotten you"? Or again, "I will be to Him a Father, and He shall be to me a Son"?
6 And again, when He brings the first-born into the world, he says, "Let all God's angels worship him."
7 Of the angels He says, "Who makes His angels winds, and His servants flames of fire."
8 But of the Son He [ the Father with The Spirit ] says, "Your throne, God, is forever, the righteous scepter is the scepter of your kingdom.
9 You have loved righteousness and hated lawlessness; therefore God, your God, has anointed you with the oil of gladness beyond your comrades."
10 And, "You, Lord, did found the earth in the beginning, and the heavens are the work of your hands;
11 they will perish, but you remain; they will all grow old like a garment,
12 like a mantle you will roll them up, and they will be changed. But you are the same, and your years will never end."

Speaking of that part of the Triune Godhead known as "The Spirit:"

John 16:7 Nevertheless I tell you the truth: it is to your advantage that I go away, for if I do not go away, the Counselor (i.e. the Holy Spirit) will not come to you; but if I go, I will send Him to you.
John 16:8 And when He comes, He will convince the world concerning sin and righteousness and judgment:
John 16:13 When the Spirit of truth comes, He will guide you into all the truth; for He will not speak on His own authority, but whatever He hears He will speak, and He will declare to you the things that are to come.
John 16:14 He will glorify me, for He will take what is mine and declare it to you.

First Corinthians 2:10 God has revealed to us through The Spirit. For The Spirit searches everything, even the depths of God.

Where is worshipping Mary in all this? Was she really intuitively correct 80% of the time? Did she expect her Son Jesus to be psychic and read her mind without her actually telling Him what she was thinking? Did she really have to wait for her Son to "catch up" to finally catch on what she already knew? How come I am not now brown-nosing nor suck-holing feminists? Maybe The Feminist Coalition et al will soon gang up on me and do me in? Maybe the wife will now refuse to have sex with me in miffed retaliation? And where is worshipping Caesar, or worshipping Bobama, in all this? Or even Mel Brooks or Don Rickles?

If we're lucky, your master sergeant, colonel, pope, pastor, bishop, congressional senator, local cop, sheriff, or catholic/anglican priest will do obeisance to you once in a while. Perhaps in a confessional booth.

Heady experience.
