It is difficult to not be pluralistic (in contrast to theocratic) as a government official under the auspices of a First Amendment to a U.S. Constitution which does not specify which denominational or sectarian religion is to neither be established nor prohibited.

If a majority of voters (or those who function or cause the effect of a majority), who vote into office a certain favored government official, determine that the predominant religion is Christianity or Judaism or Islam, that will be the overpowering religion which will [temporarily] rule in a pluralistic society.

It is less likely that a specific denomination of - let's say - Christianity (for example, such as Lutheran or Methodist or Baptist Protestantism) will be agreed upon as the majority-rule religion to the virtual near-exclusion against other forms, not only Protestantism, but Christianity itself (not to mention other religions) in general.

How would you like unionized police and firemen, letter carriers, school teachers - all unwilling to heartily work or work at all unless the lazy rebels are given pay raises they have not earned and do not deserve - to suddenly go on strike in Wisconsin and where you live . . . when you need emergency help and dependable public service?

Obama has done almost nothing to adjust the interstate highway system for slower-moving all-electric cars, establish recharging posts for them across the nation, subsidize first-time buyers of all-electric cars, and begin to put into effect slower speed limits to accomodate those driving all-electric cars.

So, WHO caused more people to get laid off:

Romney, when he was at Bain Capital (and for what causes, with what effect), or Obama, when he was involved in laying off many GM workers (and for what causes, and with what effect)?

Perhaps if they had engineered the Volt to be a range-adequate car that people actually could safely and economically drive at a price they could afford, they would not need to shut down production. But that is what happened when they had to build a car for Obominite enviro-wacko ideology and not for consumers.

Here's the "good" news: now those 1300 laidoff GM workers can collect unemployment checks and stimulate the economy.(?)

The largest banks are actually bigger than they were when Obama took office. And earned more in the first two-and-a-half years of his term than they did during the entire eight years of the Bush administration.

Steelworkers lost their jobs under an Obama operative working at Bain Capital . . . two years after Romney disassociated from Bain.

Energy Secretary Chu admitted the Obominite regime does not want lower gas prices. Perhaps they thought by keeping prices high, they will be able to force already-impoverished people into those overpriced, short-range electric cars and into financial-disaster bankruptcy.

No wonder the unionized Detroit automakers moved off their greedy duffs and got their act together to salvage Obama's bailout for them. The way the unionized auto industry has usually worked is to temporarily lay off production lines so they can get on the government dole (unemployment plus union bennies) while they retool or reassess production or decide to simply suck government dollars until a new line is up and running - which is why foreign cars produced outside the USA started to become the better deal back in the 1980s.

So it cost us taxpayers $3 billion to lay off 1,300 workers? Is Obama awesome or what?

Nobody likes layoffs. We want an America without union bullies pulling the strings of puppet socialist leaders.

By the way, some of those Government Motors employees will be back on the job, just as soon as Subprime signs the order mandating that federal employees start driving Volts. When GM says "layoff", they mean "lengthy paid vacation" via government bailout dollars.

But don't shed a tear for these wonderful folks.

Adding the layoff cost to the production cost, credits cost, bailout cost, advertising cost, etc­. does this bring put the average cost of a Volt above $300,000 per unit?

As I see it, why are homogays uptight about the Marriage Amendment, specifically reaffirming marriage as a union between one man and one woman? That exact wording of the proposed amendment does not specifically forbid same-gender-sodomy-union "marriages," nor "marriages" to animals, inanimate objects, mistresses, cohabitational agreements for fornication, adultery, nor even participating in non-State-registered common-law concubine private contracts. One cannot even make an iron-clad convincing case that the "one man one woman" blurb even infers or insinuates any conceivable type of prohibition against alternative-entity marriages.

Not only does it not specifically address alternative-entity marriages, but it states no fine, imprisonment, nor execution for having such alternative-entity marriages.

What is does seem to specifically prohibit, and touted by sexist feminists who chauvenistically want to control and regulate men (contrary to Scripture), is disallowance of patriarchal harem polygamy.

That is why I personally will NOT vote for the amendment if, come November's Election Day ballot, the wording is: "ONE man and ONE woman."
Nor even "A man and A woman."
What I would vote for is simply the limited wording: "man and woman."

There is great benefit from righteous publicity and advertisement, and great harm from wicked publicity and advertisement, whether for modesty or immodesty (regarding and concerning names of accessible websites on the internet).

"[Men] will give account for every word they have spoken" says Scripture . . . so revilers and blasphemers Ed Schultz, Rachel Maddow, Bill Maher, Mike Malloy, Neil Boortz, Lawrence O'Donnell, etc. would do well to heed that warning!

To have "faith" apart from Christ (i.e. apart from Jesus) is at least dangerous, and at worst, lethal insanity.

Morality can be, has been, and will continue to be legislated . . . but frequently neither the morality legislated or the legislated morality is obeyed, and ultimately no one can permanently or even temporarily be or is forced to comply with it. But there has been, are now, and will be consequences from law enforcement and the courts, and certainly from the Lord, against those who neither conform to nor comply with legislated morality.

If they did, and caused verifiable illegal libel resulting in court-determined reputational and occupational and financial harm to any of us, complicated and time-consuming criminal and civil lawsuits, even of the class-action type with endless appeals, could be the expensive remedy.

Before collapsing into comas from increasing blood loss, we would angrily continue on hoisting them up on nooses, fire bullets into their guts, then directly into their hearts, then right between their eyes, and finally decapitate them and burn the corpses with gasoline.

God, I assume (and not presume) perhaps has better ideas. WOULD Jesus Himself (completely contrary to MSNBC's Rachel Maddow) advocate voters showing up to vote at polling places for political elections and presenting some sort of photo I.D. such as a Drivers License?

If He did advocate such, would it be for the sole purpose NOT of suppressing voter rights, but instead to prevent multiple-vote-per-voter FRAUD?

Even the demons "believe," and shudder, according to James. So they have "faith" in the sense of belief, even involuntary submission and accomodation to what God wants and allows them to do.

They are forced by Law to do what is correct - as much as the Lord so forces them to obey what the Law requires in whatever ways and to whatever extent He desires. So they have a "righteousness" of their own, but one which will do them no good when they are ultimately judged.

But their "faith" is feigned and artificial, because there is no willing dependence upon the Lord, as they - of necessity - are strong-armed by the Almighty to comply as much as He wants them to. Such "faith" of theirs neither absolves nor forgives their sins, nor does such "faith" cause them to be considered righteous:

Php 3:8 Indeed I count everything as loss because of the surpassing worth of knowing Christ Jesus my Lord. For his sake I have suffered the loss of all things, and count them as refuse, in order that I may gain Christ
9 and be found in him, not having a righteousness of my own, based on law, but that which is through faith in Christ, the righteousness from God that depends on faith;
12 Not that I have already obtained this or am already perfect; but I press on to make it my own, because Christ Jesus has made me his own.
13 Brethren, I do not consider that I have made it my own; but one thing I do, forgetting what lies behind and straining forward to what lies ahead,
14 I press on toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus.
15 Let those of us who are mature [instead of childish] be thus minded; and if in anything you are otherwise minded, God will reveal that also to you.
16 Only let us hold true to what we have attained.
17 Brethren, join in imitating me, and mark those who so live as you have an example in us.
18 For many, of whom I have often told you and now tell you even with tears, live as enemies against the cross of Christ.
19 Their end is destruction, their god is the belly, and they glory in their [pro-abortion-homicide and pro-homopervert and pro-evolutionary-mythology/heresy] shame, with minds set on earthly things.
20 But our commonwealth is in heaven, and from it we await a Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ,
21 who will change our lowly body to be like His glorious body, by the power which enables Him even to subject all things to Himself.
