Misogyny has been characterised as a prominent feature of the mythologies of the ancient world as well as various cultic religions.
Misogyny is [anti-Scriptural] hatred or dislike against women or girls, and might be manifested in numerous alleged ways, including [anti-Biblical] discrimination, denigration and/or non-called-for violence against women, and/or loveless or lustful sexual objectification of women.
Philosophers Schopenhauer, Nietzsche, and Kant are purported by some of a adversarially wrong-headed feminist-sexist immentality to have been "misogynic."
The male counterpart of misogyny is misandry (the hatred or dislike of men); the antonym of misogyny is philogyny (the love or fondness of women) and the antonym of misandry is philandry (the love or fondness of men).
The entirety of the sacred-66-books of the Judeo-Christian (Old-and-New-Testaments) HOLY BIBLE cannot rightfully be presumed misogynic, but instead is understandably and righteously patriarchal.
Which gender is faster, athletically (in which the males are not abnormally handicapped, deliberately letting the female(s) win, etc.)?
The world record in the men’s 100-meter dash, considered the preeminent track event in the world, has been broken 12 times since electronic timing was introduced into the sport in 1968.
The current record holder is Jamaican sprinter, Usain Bolt, who ran the 100-meter race in a blistering 9.58 seconds at the 2009 World Championships in Berlin. That bested his own world record of 9.69, which he had set the year before at the Beijing Olympics. The record-breaking margin of 0.11 seconds is also the largest since the start of digital race-time measurement.
Both of Bolt’s times were "wind legal" efforts. In order for a time in the 100-meter race to be recognized for awards purposes, the speed of the tailwinds at the sprinters' backs on race day cannot be greater than 2 meters per second, according to the rules of the International Association of Athletics Federation (IAAF), the governing body of track and field competitions.
The winners of the Olympic 100-meter races are often declared "the world’s fastest man and woman." There is little debate over Bolt’s worthiness for the title of fastest man. He is the reigning Olympic champion and current world record holder in the 100, and also holds the world record in the 200-meter race, which he ran in 19.19 seconds in Berlin.
On the women’s side, it is not so clear-cut.
The reigning women’s Olympic 100-meter dash champion is Jamaica’s Shelly-Ann Fraser, who won gold in Beijing with a time of 10.78 seconds and is generally considered the fastest woman in the world.
However, her time isn’t close to the women’s 100-meter world record of 10.49, set in 1988 by the late Florence Griffith-Joyner. Though some have suspected that this record was set while Joyner was using performance-enhancing drugs, the record has stood firm for 22 years. The closest anyone has come to breaking it was last year, when American sprinter Carmelita Jeter scorched the track at the Shanghai Grand Prix with a time of 10.64.
Recently, I heard, on a segment of the Rush Limbaugh radio talk show, a comment from Charlie Rose asking some catholic cardinal the question:
"With the appointment of a new pope, what will be the place of women in the catholic church?"
The cardinal responded with an answer which was quite shrewd in the context of the catholic religious superstition, and one that - although admired - is one I personally would not have given.
The cardinal responded: "The highest office a person can be attributed with is a saint in the catholic church, and half of our saints are women. In fact, we catholics even pray to such saints with our petitions."
My answer to Charlie would instead have been a First-Corinthians-chapter-11 Biblically-based one:
"If it wasn't for women, none of the one billion catholics in the world, birthed by women, would even exist."
Again, that ties right in with:
First Corinthians 11:12 . . . for as woman was made from man, so man is now born of woman. And all things are from God.
The Scripture verse:
Galatians 3:28 There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither slave nor free, there is neither male nor female; for you are all one in Christ Jesus.
. . . has been quoted by faux-"christian" heretic after heretic trying to appease and get favor with feminist sexist who are hell-bent on attempting to establish demonic presumption that women are equal with men in every way.
By default, if there is no distinction of the two genders, then there is nothing wrong with either male-with-male nor female-with-female homosexuality. Also, there is nothing wrong with a women entering nude-men's shower rooms, nor a man entering nude-women's shower rooms. And then why should a man marry a woman for reproduction if there is no gender different between a man or a woman?
I suspect that the sexual-organs changes of so-called "transgendered" nutcases only goes so far. Seems rather implausible that a man who wanted to become a woman could completely have cut off penis, scrotum, prostate gland (leaving him with nothing to urinate with) and instead have (promptly-enough) implanted within him a working vulva, vagina, uterus, fallopian tubes, and ovaries. Similar the implausibility of a woman completely changing into a every-excretory/sexual-organ specimen of a man.
"Neither male nor female" misapplication of Holy Writ obviously flies in the face of not only copious non-equality-of-gender verses in other parts of Scripture, but even as to decent and modest propriety when it comes to logical and sensible segregation of the genders for shower rooms, rest rooms, fitting rooms, and pro-football/hockey/basketball/tennis competitions, and much more.
A few examples of gender inequality are:
Leviticus 27:1 The LORD said to Moses,
2 "Say to the people of Israel, When a man makes a special vow of persons to the LORD at your valuation,
3 then your valuation of a male from twenty years old up to sixty years old shall be fifty shekels of silver, according to the shekel of the sanctuary.
4 If the person is a female, your valuation shall be thirty shekels.
5 If the person is from five years old up to twenty years old, your valuation shall be for a male twenty shekels, and for a female ten shekels.
6 If the person is from a month old up to five years old, your valuation shall be for a male five shekels of silver, and for a female your valuation shall be three shekels of silver.
7 And if the person is sixty years old and upward, then your valuation for a male shall be fifteen shekels, and for a female ten shekels.
8 And if a man is too poor to pay your valuation, then he shall bring the person before the priest, and the priest shall value him; according to the ability of him who vowed the priest shall value him.
Numbers 5:31 The man shall be free from iniquity, but the woman shall bear her iniquity."
Numbers 30:1 Moses said to the heads of the tribes of the people of Israel, "This is what the LORD has commanded.
2 When a man vows a vow to the LORD, or swears an oath to bind himself by a pledge, he shall not break his word; he shall do according to all that proceeds out of his mouth.
3 Or when a woman vows a vow to the LORD, and binds herself by a pledge, while within her father's house, in her youth,
4 and her father hears of her vow and of her pledge by which she has bound herself, and says nothing to her; then all her vows shall stand, and every pledge by which she has bound herself shall stand.
5 But if her father expresses disapproval to her on the day that he hears of it, no vow of hers, no pledge by which she has bound herself, shall stand; and the LORD will forgive her, because her father opposed her.
6 And if she is married to a husband, while under her vows or any thoughtless utterance of her lips by which she has bound herself,
7 and her husband hears of it, and says nothing to her on the day that he hears; then her vows shall stand, and her pledges by which she has bound herself shall stand.
8 But if, on the day that her husband comes to hear of it, he expresses disapproval, then he shall make void her vow which was on her, and the thoughtless utterance of her lips, by which she bound herself; and the LORD will forgive her.
In many cases throughout that reliably-accurate Divinely-inspired-and-fearfully-copyrighted historical record called The Bible, God - because of the wimpish or cowardice sins of embarrassing humans - had to work around that by, at times, having imperfect inferior gender do needed jobs.
Consider the case of Deborah, one of the Hebrew judges:
Judges 4:9 And [Deborah] said, "I will surely go with you; nevertheless, the road on which you are going will not lead to your glory, for the LORD will sell Sisera into the hand of a woman." Then Deborah got up, and went with Barak to Kedesh.
At least Debbie gave credit to the Lord - and not womankind - for capturing Sisera.
Then there was the case of Esther, who was instrumental in saving the entire Jewish nation . . . though Mordecai her uncle (and chief informer plus advisor!) informed her that if she did not aggressively take the lead in pursuing the rescue, God would appoint another means to accomplish it:
Esther 4:14 For if you keep silence at such a time as this, relief and deliverance will rise for the Jews from another quarter, but you and your father's house will perish. And who knows whether you have not come to the kingdom for such a time as this?"
Abigail, churlish Nabal's husband, kept David from committing retaliatory murder:
First Samuel 25:23 When Abigail saw David, she hurried, and got off the donkey, fell before David on her face, and bowed to the ground.
25 Let not m'lord regard this ill-natured fellow, Nabal; for as his name is, so is he; Nabal is his name, and folly is with him . . .
26 Now then, m'lord, as the LORD lives, and as your soul lives, seeing the LORD has restrained you from bloodguilt, and from taking vengeance with your own hand, now then let your enemies and those who seek to do evil to m'lord be as Nabal.
30 And when the LORD has done to m'lord according to all the good that He has spoken regarding you, and has appointed you prince over Israel,
31 m'lord shall have no cause of grief, or pangs of conscience, for having shed blood without cause or for m'lord taking vengeance himself. And when the LORD has dealt well with m'lord, then remember your handmaid."
32 And David said to Abigail, "Blessed be the LORD, the God of Israel, who sent you this day to meet me!
33 Blessed be your discretion, and blessed be you, who have kept me this day from bloodguilt and from avenging myself with my own hand!
34 For as surely as the LORD the God of Israel lives, who has restrained me from hurting you, unless you had hurried and come to meet me, truly by morning there had not been left to Nabal so much as any who urinated against a wall."
The former-virgin Mary made up for Eve screwing it up against everyone in The Garden by conceiving and birthing Messiah Jesus, the Christ - a non-rape voluntarily consensual act involving Mary's willful cooperation before it all happened.
So, although woman are not subhuman nor mere animals, but instead have eternal souls and both moral cognizance and responsibilities, they are NOT equal to men in terms of not only not being in authority over adult males but not even equal to them in authority:
Ecclesiastes 7:27 Hey, this is what I found, says the Preacher, adding one thing to another to find the sum,
28 which my mind has sought repeatedly, but I have not found. One man among a thousand I found, but a woman among all these I have not found.
29 Hey, this alone I found, that God made man upright, but they have sought out many devices.
Isaiah 3:12 My people: children are their oppressors, and women rule over them. Oh my people, your leaders mislead you, and confuse the course of your paths.
Sometimes, women have [godlessly] ruled over men as squad-car cops, state-patrol police, judges and lawyers in courtrooms, CEOs and head cashiers, news anchors on TV, news announcers on radio, ministers and priests and lay readers in pulpits, etc. -- clearly a violation against:
Song of Solomon 2:14 Oh MY dove, in the clefts of the rock, in the covert of the cliff, let me see face, let me hear your voice, for your voice is sweet, and your face is attractive.
Concerning (not regarding) others who impose noxious sexual visual and audio harassment:
Song of Solomon 2:15 Catch us the foxes, the little foxes, that spoil the vineyards, for our vineyards are in blossom.
That is NO joke, and is to be taken seriously!
Only God knows the overwhelming extensiveness of irritation-based impatience and even myriad up-to-lethal crimes have been incited by the arrogant and impudent burden of women's faces and voices forced or snuck in where they had no right whatsoever to be. Even recourse to male-gender homosexuality has been and continues to be (to a large extent) a retributional consequence against non-solicited non-asked-for feminist-sexist impositions.
First Corinthians 14:33 For God is not a God of confusion but of peace.
34 As in all the churches of the saints, the women should keep silence in the churches. For they are not allowed to speak, but should be subordinate, as even the law says.
35 If there is anything they desire to know, let them ask their husbands at home. For it is shameful for a woman to speak in church.
36 What! Did the word of God originate with you, or are you the only ones it has reached?
37 If any one thinks that he is a prophet, or spiritual, he should acknowledge that what I am writing to you is a command of the Lord.
38 If any one does not recognize this, he is not recognized.
First Timothy 2:11 Let a woman learn in silence with all submissiveness.
12 I allow no woman to teach or to have authority over men; she is to keep silent.
13 For Adam was formed first, then Eve;
14 and Adam was not deceived, but the woman was deceived and became a transgressor.
15 Yet woman will be saved through bearing children, if she continues in faith and love and holiness, with sobriety.
Notice that whenever the Holy Spirit, speaking through Saint Paul in his New-Testament epistles, differentiates and apportions the two genders with various required attitudes and actions, the dangerously-wandering-and-exploratory, bored-with-the-usual, trouble-starting-and-causing, inferior-gender wife is the first to get it - NOT the husband:
Ephesians 5:22 Wives, be subject to your husbands, as to the Lord.
Ephesians 5:24 As the church is subject to Christ, so let wives also be subject in everything to their husbands.
Ephesians 5:25 Husbands, love your wives, as Christ loved the church and gave himself up for her,
Ephesians 5:28 Even so husbands should love their wives as their own bodies. He who loves his wife loves himself.
Colossians 3:18 Wives, be subject to your husbands, as is fitting in the Lord.
Colossians 3:19 Husbands, love your wives, and do not be harsh with them.
First Peter 3:1 Likewise you wives, be submissive to your husbands, so that some, though they do not obey the word, may be won without a word by the behavior of their wives,
First Peter 3:7 Likewise you husbands, live considerately with your wives, bestowing honor on the woman as the weaker sex, since you are joint heirs of the grace of life, in order that your prayers may not be hindered.
That does not mean that the inferior-gender is usually the one to initiate reconciliation. She usually is not, and the husband must then be the first to reconcile, if the marital relationship is to survive and flourish instead of worse and deteriorate.
Some presumptuous pompous asses have declared that patriarchal-not-matriarchal Scripture passages are now - by the mere impudence of those asses giving pseudo-omnipotent contrary commands and/or referring to the pseudo-omnipotent commands or inferences or implications or insinuations of other pompous asses of similar aberration - obsolete and have only applied to some ancient Jews back in the Middle East a couple thousand years and more ago.
When questioned as to exactly when their pseudo-divine pro-feminist-sexist mandates kicked in, they hem and haw in nebulous diffusion into all sorts of off-on-a-tangent deviances, even boastfully and authoritatively citing satanically-motivated temporal-"civil"-law statutes and so-called "legal" ruling of Equal Rights, Equal Opportunity, Human Rights, Civil Rights, ad nauseum . . . which alleged "legality" is always in flux and jostling between the legislative and the judicial in manipulative never-ending disruptions and woeful inconveniences.
As if such belligerence has now thoroughly and completely abrogated, dissolved, countermanded, effectively contradicted, and forever neutralized God's immutable pro-patriarchal Words of Scripture!
Which brings us to the contemplation and consideration of God's gender.
The male gender of each of the three persons of The Holy Trinity (the Triune Godhead, partitioned in KJV's and Wesley's First John 5:7), is based upon two factors:
(1) the honestly-translated-from-original-Text male-gender wording within The Bible, and
(2) the honestly-admitted superiority of the male human contrasted with the female human in practically every way.
The second point seems debatable to some, with others citing lengthened longevity for women compared to men killed outside the protected home in dangerous construction projects, war, hazardous expeditions, etc; women coming up with lamentably-"novel" weird and confusion-causing ideas which men do not concoct nor impose; women being deceptively puffed and publicized by the demented as supposed the winners and superior in typing, cooking, stitching, spelling, and on and on and on . . . completely overlooking and disregarding the plain fact that men in general are the strongest weight lifters, have the most endurance in running and climbing, are more agile than females, are more beneficially innovative and logical mathematically and technically than women, are calmer and more sensible than women in emergencies, and are the world's best pianists, typists, chefs, tailors, inventors, poets and linguists, and more . . . when it comes right down to it.
Oh sure, unfair and anomalous exceptions can dishonestly be cited.
Ecclesiastes 9:4 But he who is joined with all the living has hope, for a living dog is better than a dead lion.
An old former and now crippled male tennis star languishing in hospice obviously cannot be fairly expected to compete against some young female whippersnapper on the tennis court.
Pertaining to the point that God's gender is defined by the semantic alphabet lettering of Holy Writ, it should be clear that Jesus Christ was and is and always will be a male (with a penis and associated parts), who was both a son and a man by Scriptually-linguistic affirmation. Being that He was male, His related fellow beings (both the Father and the Holy Spirit) are understandably given male-pronoun identities.
A number of devilish science-fiction movie writers, producers, and actors/actresses have tried to promote the idea of alien women being the saviors of humanity. Such women appear as humanoid conduits through which strange and powerful foreign forces accomplish bizarre forms of vital relief. And such women usually merge into some type of sexually-implied union or merger with some notable accommodating male at the end of the movie.
One might wonder if such women are even presumed to rule the universe, or any least some significant part of it. Logic would require that they, in their clearly finite capacities, did not create themselves, but were created by some non-identified higher being of greater intelligence, control, and indestructibility.
The very definition of the word God is: One who is all-powerful (omnipotent), all-knowing (omniscient), present everywhere (omnipresent), and of course: absolutely indestructible and immortal:
John 1:1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.
2 He was in the beginning with God;
3 all things were made through Him, and without Him was not anything made that was made.
14 And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us, full of grace and truth; we have beheld His glory, glory as of the only Son from the Father.
Colossians 1:11 May you be strengthened with all power, according to His glorious might, for all endurance and patience with joy,
12 giving thanks to the Father, who has qualified us to share in the inheritance of the saints in light.
13 He has delivered us from the dominion of darkness and transferred us to the kingdom of His beloved Son,
14 in whom we have redemption, the forgiveness of sins.
15 He is the image of the invisible God, the first-born of all creation;
16 for in Him all things were created, in heaven and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or dominions or principalities or authorities -- all things were created through Him and for Him.
17 He is before all things, and in Him all things hold together.
18 He is the head of the body, the church; He is the beginning, the first-born from the dead, that in everything He might be preeminent.
19 For in Him all the fullness of God was pleased to reside,
20 and through Him to reconcile to Himself all things, whether on earth or in heaven, making peace by the blood of His cross.
Hebrews 1:1 In many and various ways God spoke of old to our fathers by the prophets;
2 but in these last days He has spoken to us by a Son, whom He appointed the heir of all things, through whom also He created the world.
3 He reflects the glory of God and bears the very imprint of His nature, upholding the universe by His word of power. When He had made purification for sins, He sat down at the right hand of the Majesty on high,
4 having become as much superior to angels as the name He has obtained is more excellent than theirs.
8 But of the Son He says, "Your throne, God, is forever, the righteous scepter is the scepter of your kingdom.
9 You have loved righteousness and hated lawlessness; therefore God, your God, has anointed you with the oil of gladness beyond your comrades."
10 And, "You, Lord, did found the earth in the beginning, and the heavens are the work of your hands;
11 they will perish, but you remain; they will all grow old like a garment,
12 like a mantle you will roll them up, and they will be changed. But you are the same, and your years will never end."
The little girl who asks: "Mommy, who created God?" and "Daddy, when did God begin?" has to be simply instructed that no one created God, because He always existed, and so He had no beginning.
Anticipated it is that the girl will not comprehend the totality of that answer, nor should she be expected to. None of us are expected to, and perhaps even in our eternal afterlife we will never completely fathom the fullness of all that.
One thing that we can be content with is to call God a he instead of a she - even though the absurd and ridiculous have laughably done the opposite.
And the inappropriate excuses they have used to do so are contextually inane and improper, like when they refer to:
Matthew 23:37 Jerusalem, Jerusalem, killing the prophets and stoning those who are sent to you! How often would I have gathered your children together as a hen gathers her brood under her wings, and you would not!
Luke 13:34 Jerusalem, Jerusalem, killing the prophets and stoning those who are sent to you! How often would I have gathered your children together as a hen gathers her brood under her wings, and you would not!
They, in their literary-mechanisms ignorance and stupidity, fail to understand and realize that the metaphor or symbol of a hen is not to establish a gender association, but rather is one of protectionism, similar to what is conveyed with:
Psalm 91:4 He will cover you with His pinions, and under His wings you will find refuge; His faithfulness is a shield and buckler.
God's body-parts symbolism is both figurative when describing spiritual attributes of the Almighty, yet also literal in describing the actual physical body parts which the embodied God-man Jesus Christ has and even yet has.
Someone might retort: "That's [only] your opinion.
Your response?
"Brilliant observation! Of course it's my opinion. Whose opinion did you think it was? And it's going to stay my opinion! Far better than your stupid and asinine presumptions!"
