Recently, on my publicly-accessible Facebook Homepage, I typed in and posted a curse "in the name of Jesus Christ" on all those who declared their support for Sarah Palin or Michele Bachmann to run as Presidential or Vice-Presidential candidates for the 2011 General Election (which would include a lot of pseudo and/or carnal-"christian" "evangelicals," probably including Michele Bachmann and her husband themselves).
Suffice it to say that - without quoting verbatim the patriarchal Scriptural verses I have so often quoted pertaining to this area of concern (e.g. Leviticus 27:1-5, Numbers 30, Ecclesiastes 7:26-28, Isaiah 3:12, Nahum 3:13, First Corinthians 11:1-16 & 14:33-38, First Timothy 2:12-15 and First Peter 3:7) - I gave solid Scriptural grounds for potential voters across the nation to wisely ignore and disregard viral sexist chauvenists who need to either get off their "battered"-women-rule-supreme, obsessively hung-up, feminists-in-charge kick....or (in whatever legitimate ways) be silenced...if they really are serious about getting Obamination out of office in November 2012 and acquiring the respect of the electorate-at-large to do that.
Soon after I posted the curse, I received a message from some female out there in Facebook cyberspace which asserted that [meek and mild] Jesus never had the slightest intention of cursing anyone, so neither should we.
Intriguing it is that she would be so disturbed by my condemnatory remark that she felt obligated to not merely be bold enough to inform and correct me in forthright assertiveness, but even henceforth suggest that everyone casually disregard the curse I wrote concerning Palin-or-Bachmann-for-President-or-VP, presuming that:
Proverbs 26:2 Like a sparrow in its flitting, like a swallow in its flying, a curse that is causeless does not alight.
My reply to her was that if she desired petitioning the Lord Jesus regarding (not concerning) that curse, she certainly was free to try to contramand (or, abrogate) it with a reversal or blessing request of her own -- but that God assuredly has, does, and will continue to curse, then eventually condemn, all impenitent homosexuals, feminists, abortionists, evolutionists, and more to eternal punishment in everlasting black-flames hellfire.
So far, no counter-response from her.
But, in the Almighty's ongoing plan for me and her and others, such got me thinking, because I have encountered other only-be-positive-and-never-negative cowardly carnal Christians who are of a one-sided "God-is-unconditional-love" immentality, who presume that the quasi-wimpish, benignly-pacifistic, effeminately-longhaired, lamb-holder Jesus is exclusively non-discriminatory with non-judgmental, non-narrow-minded, non-bigoted tolerance for all, who probably will have extreme difficulty on the Last Day being able to draw the line as to how much sin is too much sin in everyone's imperfect checkered-past case.
Non-violent Jesus, who viciously overturned the moneychanger's table in a public-disturbance fit of rage, was indeed generally gentle, though visibly and frequently irritated by legalistic disbelief:
John 1:29 The next day he saw Jesus coming toward him, and said, "Hey, the Lamb of God, who takes away the sin of the world!
John 12:47 If any one hears My sayings and does not keep them, I do not judge him; for I did not come to judge the world but to save the world.
And what "world" was THAT? Are we talking universal salvation for everyone, no matter what?
Matthew 13:22 As for what was planted among thorns, this is he who hears the word, but the cares of the world and the delight in riches choke the word, and it proves non-fruitful.
Matthew 18:7 Woe to the world for temptations to sin! It is necessary that temptations come, but woe to the human (not "man") by whom the temptation comes!
John 14:16 And I will pray to the Father, and He will give you another Counselor, to be with you for ever,
John 14:17 even the Spirit of truth, whom the world cannot receive, because they neither see him nor know Him; you know Him, for He resides with you, and will be in you.
John 14:19 Yet a little while, and the world will see Me no more, but you will see Me; because I live, you will live also.
John 15:18 If the world hates you, know that it has hated Me before it hated you.
John 15:19 If you were of the world, the world would love their own; but because you are not of the world, but I chose you out of the world, therefore the world hates you.
John 17:14 I have given them Your word; and the world has hated them because they are not of the world....
John 17:25 Oh righteous Father, the world has not known You...
James 4:4 Faithless creatures! Do you not know that friendship with the world is enmity against (not "with") God? Therefore whoever wishes to be a friend of the world makes himself an enemy against (not "of") God.
First John 2:15 Do not love the world or the things in the world. If any one loves the world, love for the Father is not in him.
First John 5:4 Everyone who has been born of God overcomes the world. And this is the victory that overcomes the world, our faith.
First John 5:5 Who is [he] who overcomes the world, but [he] who believes that Jesus is the Son of God?
Concordantly, Christ's supposed-to-always-turn-the-other-cheek followers are instructed to:
Matthew 7:1 Judge not, that you be not judged.
Luke 6:37 Judge not, and you will not be judged; condemn not, and you will not be condemned; forgive, and you will be forgiven
[ NOTE: Who needs Christ as Atoning Redeemer and Savior when one can avoid eternal hellfire punishment simply by performing the self-atoning, self-justifying, self-righteous, good work of never judging anyone ever during his or her lifetime? And WHO has actually ever done that? ]
James 4:11 Do not speak evil against one another, brethren. He who speaks evil against a brother or judges his brother, speaks evil against the law and judges the law. But if you [wickedly?] judge the law, you are not a doer of the law but a judge.
James 4:12 There is one Lawgiver and Judge, He who is able to save and to destroy. But who are you that you [wickedly?] judge your neighbor?
[ NOTE: Bye bye to all judges and prosecuting attorneys of the judiciary in all echelons of United States Government? And the citation-issuing traffic cops can now buzz off without imposing any accusatory red-and-blue strobe lights flashing point-black in the rear-view mirrors of road-rule violators?]
It should be well-known that God Himself (and thus Jesus, The Son of God, as part of the Holy-Trinity Godhead) has, does, and will curse certain individuals:
Genesis 3:17 And to Adam He (i.e. The LORD) said, "Because you have listened to the voice of your wife [and there the whole problem started!], and have eaten of the tree of which I commanded you, 'You shall not eat of it,' cursed is the ground because of you; in labor you shall eat of it all the days of your life...."
Genesis 4:11 "And now you [Cain] are cursed from the ground, which has opened its mouth to receive your brother's blood from your hand."

First Samuel 2:10 The adversaries against (not "of") the LORD shall be broken to pieces; against them He will thunder in heaven. The LORD will judge the ends of the earth; He will give strength to His king, and exalt the power of His anointed."
Psalm 119:21 You do rebuke the insolent, accursed ones, who wander from Your commandments;
Lamentations 3:65 You will give them dullness of heart; Your curse will be on them.
Daniel 9:11 All Israel has transgressed Your law and turned aside, refusing to obey Your voice. And the curse and oath which are written in the law of Moses the servant of God have been poured out upon us, because we have sinned against Him.
Zechariah 5:3 Then he said to me, "This is the curse that goes out over the face of the whole land; for every one who steals shall from now on be cut off according to it, and every one who swears falsely shall be henceforth cut off according to it.
Malachi 2:2 "If you will not listen, if you will not lay it to heart to give glory to My name," says the LORD of hosts, "then I will send the curse upon you and I will curse your blessings; indeed, I have already cursed them, because you do not lay it to heart.
Matthew 25:41 Then He [Christ, the King] will say to those at His left hand, "Depart from Me, you cursed, into the eternal fire prepared for the devil and his angels...."
Recorded within the sacred bowels of Scripture, in addition, are records of God-inspired men uttering God-given curses:
Genesis 9:25 [Noah] said, "Cursed be Canaan; a slave of slaves shall he be to his brothers."
Numbers 24:9 He couched, he lay down like a lion, and like a lioness; who will rouse him up? Blessed be every one who blesses you, and cursed be every one who curses you."

Deuteronomy 28:16 Cursed shall you be in the city, and cursed shall you be in the field.
Deuteronomy 28:17 Cursed shall be your basket and your kneading-trough.
Deuteronomy 28:18 Cursed shall be the fruit of your body, and the fruit of your ground, the increase of your cattle, and the young of your flock.
[ NOTE: As one can readily observe, God is quite non-judgmental and non-condemnatory in open-minded tolerance and broad-minded inclusive non-discrimination...and the Sun rises in the west each morning. ]
Joshua 6:26 Joshua laid an oath upon them at that time, saying, "Cursed before the LORD be the man who rises up and rebuilds this city, Jericho. At the cost of his first-born shall he lay its foundation, and at the cost of his youngest son shall he set up its gates."
First Kings 16:34 In his days Hiel of Bethel built Jericho; he laid its foundation at the cost of Abiram his first-born, and set up its gates at the cost of his youngest son Segub, according to the word of the LORD, which he spoke by Joshua the son of Nun.

Nehemiah 13:25 And I contended with them and cursed them and beat some of them [pro-Palin/pro-Bachmann pseudo-"evangelical" feminist RINOs?] and pulled out their hair; and I made them take oath in the name of God, saying, "You shall not give your daughters to their sons, or take their daughters for your sons or for yourselves [NO mixed-marriages?].
Proverbs 24:24 He who says to the wicked, "You are innocent," will be cursed by peoples, abhorred by nations.

Matthew 21:22 And whatever you ask in prayer, you will receive, if you have faith" [including having God through Christ curse Palin/Bachmann-for-Prez/VP proponents with a faithfully-petitioned severe curse].
Mark 11:21 And Peter, remembering, said to Him, Rabbi, hey, the [Palin/Bachman-for-Prez/VP-perpetrators?] fig tree which You cursed has withered away.
First Corinthians 16:22 If anyone does not love the Lord Jesus Christ, let him be accursed (i.e. damned).

Galatians 3:13 Christ redeemed us from the curse of the Law [so now we are free and at liberty to lawlessly live like the Devil?], being made a curse for us (for it is written, "Cursed is everyone having been hanged on a tree")
Second Peter 2:9 The Lord knows how to deliver the godly out of temptations, and to restrain the injust to the day of judgment to be punished:
Second Peter 2:10 But especially those who live for the flesh in the lust of non-cleanness, and despise government. Presumptuous are they, scorning control, they are not afraid to speak evil of dignities.

Jude 1:9 Yet Michael the archangel, when contending with the Devil while disputing about the body of Moses, dared not bring against him a railing accusation, but merely said, "The Lord condemn you!"
Cursing is close to uttering judgment, and though there are many verses in especially the New Testament imploring us to NOT judge, there ARE some which - on the other hand - do admonish us to fairly and righteously judge:
Genesis 49:16 Dan shall judge his people as one of the tribes of Israel.
Exodus 18:13 On the morrow Moses sat to judge the people, and the people stood about Moses from morning till evening.
